Delete a Work order in REL status

Hello,
I have created a wrok order which is in released REL status. I want to delete the work order (deletion flag set), but when I go to functions ---> delete, it is not active. Is there any way I can delete the work order? I have not done goods issue, labour confirmation to the work order.

since you are not performing any further transactions for your order ,just TECO the work order and also Business completion of the order
then you can set the deletion flag for your order

Hi Himanshu,
When you talk about the Deletion Flag on the work orders they will be deleted while Archival.
as the document is already created and that document can not be deleted.
so which ever orders you mark the deletion will stay in the system untill you are not archiving.
you should not set the deletion flag to the open order as it will not let you do any material movements for the.
but make sure that the Authorization is available for the
Object:I_VORG_ORD
Field:BETRVORG
Field Values as given below.
PMM8 Mark for deletion
PMM9 Remove deletion flag

Problems to set TECO status in PM work orders

Hi all,
I have the next situation: I have a PM work order and its status is Released (REL). When i try to set TECO status (technnical complete), the system send me the following error: " to close order must change user status to TECO ". I am not using USER STATUS ... I just using system status ... that's the reason I dont understand the error.

The message sounds like a custom message. Is there any exit active that might be checking for a specific user status? Maybe customer exit IWO10004 (EXIT_SAPLCOIH_004), this is executed when orders are technically completed.

Work orders and updating user status (via IW32)

Hello All,
I was given a design to create a program that will retrieve all open work orders. The program needs to check on all the purchase orders for that work order to check if order quantity matches the received quantity and the invoice quantity. If it matches, I will do an IW32 to change the user status to 'AIP' (All Invoices Paid). If there are no invoices or purchase orders, I will again, do an IW32 to change the user status to 'AIP'.
And since this is my first time to work on a PM ticket, I'm not very familiar with the tables being used. I've tried looking for a list of PM tables. One table I got is AUFK (Order Master Data). I searched through the table and it has the fields for Sales Order Number (KDAUF) and Item Number (KDPOS). Is this the Purchase Order related to the work order? Also, is there a way I can see or verify it through a transaction? I tried looking into transaction IW33 but I couldn't find any Purchase Order Number there. Also, how do you know if a work order is open or not? Is there a field that indicates it?
I was thinking if there are any BAPI's I can use to change a work order's user status instead of doing a CALL TRANSACTION 'IW32'? I saw a function module, RFC_CHANGE_PM_ORDER, that does a remote function call to IW32 but this has dialogs. I'd appreciate any input.

Given below few order related tables

How to delete line item in a Work Order (only a line created in operation)

Hi,
I have created a refurbishment order to refurbish a mechanical seal at external parties. In the work order operation tab, I have created one line items for this purpose and a Purchase Requisition is generated. Suddenly, operation decided to cancel this request and I have problem to delete the Work Order and Purchase Requisition. I have tried to delete the operation line item but failed. This is the message when try to delete the line item " The last active operation cannot be deleted". Appreciate help on how to delete this Work Order and Purchase Requisition.

In Standard SAP while creating an order the short text you are specifying will automatically appear in the first operation,also in order system will ask you to enter atleast single operation ,hence it is not possible to delete the operation line ,
what you can do this either TECO the order which will clear any open PR for this
or create another operation with control key for internal activities say dummy with operation no 20 and save,then go in to order in change mode and try to delete the operation line 10 ,i think system will allow you to do that

Unable to upload PM Work Order Header Status

Hi,
I have made LSMW for tcode: IW31. I have a requirement to upload legacy data to SAP with their existing header status.
For instance:
I have a work order which got a header status complete and I want to upload this work order with its status. So, how can I upload different work orders with their different header status.
Do let me know as soon as possible.

Yes, you are right. Originally it should be the way you answered but requirement is to upload data with respect to their order status from legacy.
In addition, is there any possiblity that I can create one complete LSMW for transaction IW31 OR IW32?
This is asked because I am unable to upload data in Operatoins Tab

Deletion of production order in ECC / APO

Hi,
It is not possible to set DLFL (Deletion flag) when the order is in
CRTD status also when the order is DLV or TECO with no actual cost or open order value .
It is happening in both the scenarios when
1. Plan order is created in APO and then converted to prod order
2. Plan order and prod order both are created in ECC , but both are transferred to APO
What shall be the process for deleting the prod order in ECC.

Hi Mrinal,
1) You can delete the production order in created status in APO using transaction /n/sapapo/rlcdel, select the required categories for deletion.
Once the order gets deleted in APO, it will get deleted automatically from ECC also. If not the transaction /sapapo/ccr to be used which will remove it upon iteration.
2) Alternatively, if you carry out techo in ECC for a production order which is released, once after delting in ECC, queues needs to be cleared and then subsequently /sapapo/ccr to be run for production orders, so that it will get cleared from APO also upon iteration.
Please try these and let me know whether your query is resolved.

Linking Contract Master to Work Orders & Materials

I'm researching the possibility of linking (tying) stock to a Service Order (in a Work Order) and/or Sales Orders before it arrived on the PO. This is for provisioning stock to customers. Is there any possibility that this could be done via Projects in SAP?
A colleague thinks there is a way to create a project (transaction code CJ01 or CJ27) and link it to a Purchase Order in project. If the project was a reference document, could it be done as an example? He also believes that there are special transaction codes for moving stock between normal stock and project stock (Special stock) such as 281Q and 412Q as examples.
Also, Transaction code MBBS appears to be an overview of the project to show valuated sales order and project stock? Project stock was referred to as a type of special stock?
As an end user, I am not familiar enough with SAP to know about this project area but thought this might give you a starting point. However, I've been exploring some of the functionalities to come up with a
solution.

For materials (bill of materials), which are provided with serial numbers, we got the following error:
"[OIBT] , 'The selected quantity of serial/batch numbers is greater than the quantity in row Id'"
The table OIBT belongs to batch-numbering, but out material is marked for serial-numbering!

We tried the same process in the SBO-GUI, there it works fine. Since I have started this posting, the problem was escalated to the SAP Development, they confirmed this problem as a known bug and will correct it.

Digital signature for work order processing

Hi,
Have anybody implemented digital signature for work order processing? Can you throw some lights, what are the steps involved?
Requirement is when work order reach certain status, like on order release, on partial confirmation, on final confirmation or on Technical completion, digital signature needs to be captured. This is a regulatory requirement.
I read some threads that explains digital signature can be assigned to plant and order type combination, but i couldn't find this specifc config step, we are using ECC 6.0. Is anything needs to be activated before I can see these configuration steps.
With ABAP help I was able link digital signature tool to work order, but was wondering if this can be achieved through configuration as mentioned in some of the threads.
Also I have another requirement, like if you are doing a mass TECO using IW38 transaction, capture digital signature once and the same should be applied for all the selected work orders. Otherwise you have to enter your password as many time as the number of work order selected.

Printing Completed Work Orders

Hi, I have requirement to print work orders that have a status of TECO or CLSD. Standard SAP does not allow you to print work orders with the status TECO or CLSD. Does anyone know if there is some config that allows you to print work orders that have been completed? Or will we have to create a custom transaction for new a print program?

Go to transaction BS22 which allows you to maintain business transactions for system statuses. At the bottom of the left hand column you can enter the code for TECO which is I0045 and press Enter. This will take you to that code. Double click on that code to bring up the list of business transaction available for TECO. Again at the bottom of the left hand column, enter RMDR which is the code for Print Order, and press Enter. You may change the option from Forbidd to Permtd. This will allow you to print TECO work orders.
You can do the same for CLSD work orders using I0046.

Operation Deletion Indicator In Work Order (Iw31)

Hi experts,
I want to create a checking on IW31 in this senario:
Task List A must be pair with Task List B..Task List A alone is not allowed.
I used user exit ZXWOCU07 to enter the checking and play around with data within internal table tafvgd_get.
My problem is in REL status: if user enter Task List A then enter task list B and save-its just fine.
But then user can use IW32 and delete Task B and system allowed.
How can I know on specific row (Task List B) that user is perform 'Delete' or 'Update'
as in debugging tafvgd_get-vbkz just update it to 'U'?
I need to perform the checking before it is save and I need deletion indicator to do that.

I would recommend you to use user exit IWO10009. This user exit will work at the time of saving amaintenance order.
Write a code "if system status = DLFL,then check whether it is active or inactive" or vice versa, as per your requirement. You
can raise a error message if your condition is not satisfied. System will not allow the user to save the order unless your
condition is not satisfied.

Work Order Status report

What are the work order summary report mean for?
I am using T-code ZPM02 to view the report but the report display the work center according to the category CRTL,REL,PCNF,CNF,TECO and CLSD with each colunmn display the figure.
What is mean for CRTL,REL,PCNF,CNF,TECO and CLSD?

Could advice how to diffrentiaze between customize and standard report in SAP system?
Can the IW39 list all orders with all the status in IW39?
The reason being I am having problem with the customize report display (work order summary report)the status diffrence with the IW39 is the detail report.I am now looking for the SAP standard report for work order summary report to compare with the customize report to verify which report are display not correct.
Do you have any ideal others than IW39 what others report in SAP system show the work order summary report?

LSMW for changing user status on work order(IW32)

Hi All,
I have created a LSMW for changing user status on work order using transaction IW32. It does not change the status when i run the LSMW. In the recording for the LSMW, i select the radio button on the user status i want to select.
When i run the LSMW in the foreground, it does everything except select the correct status.
Is there a way to fix this or is it a problem with LSMW. I'm using ECC6

I am not sure whether it would work with LSMW but if your on ECC 6.00 ,Enhacement Pack 3 then you have BADIs which allow you to make collective status changes in IW38 .The below are those BADIs :-
BADI_EAM_RIAUFK20_FCODE_CUS1 :Implement Customer Function Code in Order List
BADI_EAM_RIAUFK20_FCODE_SAP1 :Implement SAP Function Code in Order List
Else if your on lower version then write up a batch programme which checks the PM Order types with specific status and sets user status using FM STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN[This is used to set or delete User Status] in SE37 ..
