in Menuitem Form --> Delete.
it may ask for Request ..create a request and delete it.

Use the clear command.
clear {log filename|script filename|archive filename|
startup-config}
Use show disk to get the slot number (probably 0) and then do:
clear 0 script disable-stciky
You need to be in superuser mode to do this.

How to delete "installation scripts"

Hi All:
Under Support Objects ==> Installation Scripts, is there a way to delete any existing "installation script" entry?
I can't find an easy way to do it. Or maybe APEX is not allowing deleting installation script after you create the entry?

On the page where you see installation scripts, for each entry there are 2 links. First one is the edit icon, this takes you to the script editor. From here, you can change to the Script Properties tab, and click Delete. Else, the other link is the name of the script, and this takes you directly to the script properties tab, where you can delete it. i.e. Click delete, then confirm delete.

Delete generated script

hi,
I'm quite new to APEX and I tried to generate ddl of my schema, which was not a problem at all. But I chose to save it on file, which then generates a script.
The problem is that I cannot open this script in the editor, beacuse my browser (both mozilla and ie7) hang.
When I try to delete this generated script, it takes so long, that I canceled the delete option. Is there another way to delete this script?

If you're using Windows, have you tried (SHIFT+DEL)
This will DELETE a file as opposed to sending it to your Recycling Bin (which may be taking time).
The only point worth mentioning here is that a SHIFT+DEL really does Delete a file. You won't be able to get it back.

Custom delete button script

On the form linked below, I am trying to create a script for the red custom button (red button with white "X" ) that will delete only that particular meeting topic and renumber the remaining topics sequentially. I created a pop-up message to appear warning the user that they are about to delete that row but cannot figure out how to delete that particular sub-form occurrence.
I was also trying to make the Action Items dropdowns only include displayed topic numbers but can leave what I have (list 1->25) if that is not possible,

Try the following code in the click event of the Delete button.

Recover files deleted by script

Hi all,
I am really desparate i was playing around with a shell postinstall scripts and accidently deleted my whole developer directory where unfortunately my XCode project was(not check in SVN since long time). The delete was done using rm -r command. I was looking into buying the DataRescue 3 software but I downloaded its demo version and it seems that it can't find my files(no files .m or .h). Please any suggestions will be greatly appriciated!! Thank you.

If that doesn't work out either, you will probably have to send the hard drive out to a professional data recovery service. That will be very expensive.
You didn't have your data backed up, I presume?

Reterive deleted sap script form

i have accidently deleted my sap script form which is stored as a local object . is there any way to reterive the form ?

well sap script form are beeing stored in a table STXH and STXL.
maybe your basis guys have a chance to rollback to the time where it still existed.
otherwise you aint got a chance.
Anyway, what would be neccesary to get this back would probabaly be more work than doing your form again unless it was really huge and complicated.
What do we learn from it?

How do I delete Unix scripts in /usr/local/bin/

Well, I download a program call mpgtx (mpeg editor). After install, it put all its files to /usr/local/bin/, and there are unix scripts, mpgdemux, mpgcat..etc. So I just wander how I can delete them. Can just do rm mpg* from Terminal?

I don't even HAVE a /usr/local/bin folder on either of my Leopard installs. One install does have a /usr/local folder, but everything in it was installed by the latest version of Privoxy, the other install doesn't have a /usr/local folder at all. So you won't mess up anything from the system. Whether you'll mess up some third party something or other you have installed only you can know. I suspect they probably don't take up much room, you could check that. If the amount of space consumed is trivial, you could just leave them.

How to delete a script/Automator thing I can't find?

So a while ago I was trying to resize a big batch of images to make them all the same size, and I did this using Automator (I think) and tutorials online. I believe I made a workflow called "Batch Resize" that was supposed to resize a folder of images. It ended up not working, but it has been bugging the crap out of me ever since.
I cannot for the absolute LIFE of me find the workflow anywhere. It doesn't show up in the Automator app, in spotlight, anything. It's like it doesn't exist. However, I know it does exist because every time I drag something to the desktop or away from the desktop, I get these little pop up things:
They come up at the same time. The top thing is a little gear that spins and asks for batch resize finder items. Also, a Finder window comes up and asks me to choose the images to resize. How do I make this feature go away when I can't find the file that causes these things to happen? Is there anywhere it might be hidden?

to disable the Folder Action, open the Folder Actions Setup app (you can get that by right-clicking on a finder folder and choosing it the the settings submenu) and remove or disable the folder action. it seems to be attached to the desktop.
to get rid of the folder action workflow itself, look in ~/Library/Workflows/Applications/Folder Actions. This folder is not indexed by default, which is why it doesn't show up in spotlight.

why do you think because of logs you are not getting the data. check your program once again.

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, enter /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/ as the path, and double-click the item you want on the menu bar.

Deleting Old/Test Logic Script

Hello All,
When you create a Script with the BPC WebAdmin, it creates both an LGF and an LGX. When I delete an old, unused, or test script from the BPC WebAdmin, it only deletes the LGF file. When I go into UJFS, I see all the old LGX files just sitting out there.
Is there a way to clean these up, or have the system actually delete it when you delete an LGF automatically? Or is the only way to get rid of these to manually delete them from UJFS?
It just seems odd that when you delete the script from the WebAdmin, it doesn't delete the whole thing, just the LGF.

Normally I would agree with you, however we are running into issues with with them because some of them contain old members that may not exist anymore so when a validation occurs it kicks out these old members saying they are invalid. (We are in the process of upgrading from NW 10.0 SP9 to SP12 so it's checking the scripts and the old lgx's and kicking out errors)
I'll just mark this answered for now since I manually deleted it, was just hoping that wasn't the only way.

I'm trying to create a script that can automate the process of generating abstract data types for use in an OLAP_TABLE function. I'm following the examples in the documentation. Everything runs great the FIRST time I run my script, but when I drop my types and re-create them, when I run the next SELECT statement against the OLAP_TABLE function, I get:

Again, it works the first time, but not the second time. I need to bump up the ADT names to ts_row7 and ts_table_7. SQL Plus says the types are being dropped.
