Hi Prashant,
In case of third party order the goods will be deliverd by your vendor to your customer directly. So you 'won't see' (physically) the goods delivered to your customer.
That's why I think there's no need for delivery notes from your side. I think it is the responsibility of your vendor who supplies the goods for your customer.
order (by your customer) > SO in SAP (you) > PR (automatically) > PO (from PR; to your vendor)
You can do GR when you get informartion (feedback) that that goods were deliverd (the goods arrived) to your customer but it is not necessary (you have other options in this method). If you do statistical GR the parts will be booked via 101 but you won't have stock , the system considers this that your customer received the goods at the time of GR (a little bit similar to PO with account assigt. cat. 'C' - the goods arrive through MVT 101 but they are consumed at the very moment [w/o movement type]).
I hope I'm not mistaken...

    Dear sir,
The delivery address in PR&PO of  third-party order processing will auto take the 'Ship-to-party' from the SO, but in my company due to special process we want the delivery address default in 'Sold-to-party' of SO.
Can someone tell me how to cinfigure that or enhancement exit should be used?

There's a default vendor in source lists.

  • Third-Party Order Processing delivery date

    Hello everybody
I use Third-Party Order Processing for modeling the delivery by the vendor to the customer.
The PR is automatically generated from the sales order. In the sales order, in the schedule lines tab, the system creates two lines :
    - 1 line with the date desirated by the customer with a quantity of 0 confirmed
    - 1 line with the date calculated with the delivery time (3 weeks) of the vendor master, with the total quantity
When I saved the sale order, the PR generated has only one schedule line with the total quantity with the delivery date desired by the customer. Normally I should have the delivery date of the vendor (today + 3 weeks).
Is it normal ? Do I miss some customizing?
    Thanks for your replies,
    NP

    Its normal.
Delivery days will be honored based on PO delivery details.
3 weeks buffer which you might be getting b'coz of
    - charateristics in Planned Deliv. Time or Baseline Lead Time maintained in Materials  MRP2 tab .
    - avalibility check control maintained

  • Route is not considering in delivery scheduling for Third party order proce

    Hi All
    Advance thanks for your inputs
We need to consider the route in the delivery scheduling for third party order processing..
    Example
i have standard order (document type OR)  when i have item cat TAN its considering the route for ariving the material availability date, if it has TAS(third party) then its not considering the route......
But we want to consider the route in deliver scheduling in case of third party order...
    kindlly pls advice..
    regards
    raja

    Hi Viven.,
Routes they come under normal order as we deliver the goods, but here in TAS,third party sale we are not delivering the goods,Just there is logical moment i.e MIGO,So i dont think we do routes for TAS

  • Third party order process- tolerances

    Hi
our client is facing a problem.
Normally a SO will be issued and then the PO is created with ref. to
SO (and with same quantity). GR and IR-L will be booked, then SO will appear
in billing due list  and customer
    invoice will be created.
But now If PO quantity and GR quantity are not identical, SO is not appearing in billing due
list. do we set up any tolerances for these in custozmizing.
what would be the probable reason for this
can any one please throw some light on this.
    Regards
    GP

    Hi GP,
Check the billing relevant of Item category used in Sales order item  . This should tell you what is happeneing in your scenario.
If PO qty and GR qty missmatch occurs , MM config has to be checked to see if any tolerance has been set.
If SO is not appearing for billing , then you need to check is SO dependent on your GR or IV for billing.
Assuming it as TAS item category and BANS item category group and third party ordering process.
    Billing Relevance:
F     Order-related billing doc. - status according to invoice qty  ( Bill after IV done with IV qty)
G     Order-related billing of the delivery quantity       ( Bill after GR with GR Qty)
    Thanks,
    Sudhi

  • Third Party Order Processing

    Dear All,
1.Can anyone explain me the term 'Statistical GR' in Third Party Scenario & also why & how we do it (also the Config settings required for the same).
    2. In third Party Scenario we have order acknowledgement & confirmations so how we do this ??
Do we use the confirmations tab in the third party PO?? ( If yes wat we have to select - inbound delivery or rough GR)??
    Appreciate all the helpful answers.
    Regards,

    hai
The account assignment category X in the Customizing system of Purchasing determines whether a goods receipt can be posted for a third-party item. Here you define whether a goods receipt is possible, not allowed or compulsory.
If a goods receipt is possible, the GR indicator in the purchase order item is changeable. When you enter the purchase order, you decide if a goods receipt is to be posted or not.
You can only enter a goods receipt for a third-party order if the goods receipt indicator is set in the order item
we are specifying the account assignment category in the third party po as well as the itemcategory
so the effect of the gr will be to just like consumption
we will do the gre just like normal gr to post it to the gr/ir account to verify and to settle the invoice to the vendor
you can use confirmation key as usual to have the confirmations and acknowledgements

  • Third-Party Order Fulfillment Process Scenario

    Hello,
I would like to know if any of you have come across a use case where the Third-Party Order Fulfillment is  Not  based on the Supplier/Manufacturer shipping out the material directly But the Buyer (and in some cases even end User/customer) arranges this themselves. This is very common in International Trade where the Buyer/Business arranges the shipment themselves by using the services of a Freight Forwarder who Ships the material to the end user/customer after the Supplier/Manufacturer has made the Material available. In such cases the actual Shipment could take days or weeks from when Material is made ready by the Suppliers.
Currently the Third-Party Order Fulfillment Process assumes only one scenario and that is the Supplier will ship the material and inform their Buyer of Delivery. But in International Trade this is not the case and the Incoterms in the Purchase Order can be different to the Incoterms in the Sales order example in the PO the incoterms could be Ex-Works and in the SO CIF.
This leads to requirement of ASN and separate Inbound and Outbound Delivery and their separate Release in this Process as well.
These are not currently supported in the Third-Party Order Fulfillment process thus the Third-Party Order Fulfillment process in ByD has a very limited use in its current form.
If there are other users who have come across this as well then it would be nice to have your comments and possible workaround.
    Best regards
    Nick

There is no standard SAP solution for this requirement.
You can trigger output from inbound delivery document to generate EDI output and send delivery information to customer.
You will require to define custom output type , partner profile and link with custom fucntion module.
FM should have logic to pick information from 3rd party sales order and inbound ASN and generate IDOC
Hope this solution will work for your requirement

  • Should Third party order items appear in mD04

    Dear experts,
We create third party orders where material is directly shipped to our customer from our vendors, material does not come to our inventory, why such orders appear in MD04 , not only orders the PO created for such delivery also appears, we use planning strategy 40 for the material.
I will appreciate If any one can explain why such orders should appear in MD04 and affect planning.

    HI vamsi
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and,   therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

  • Third Party order in MM

    Hi
I like to know about Third party order process followed in Material Management module and what are the documents will be generated in this process .Explain me the process in detail ?
    Thanks & Regards,
    senthil.

Sales people will receive the order for which the company may carry the mateirals or not, in this case sales depaertment will enter the third party sales order which evantually create the third party Purchase requisition in the MM
now MM department will convert the reqs in the PO.
for this Po vendor has delivery address in the PO for custom
so vendor will deliver the Goods to customer location and invoice to your company, once you get the invoice from the vendor your sales dept will bill to the customer
so it customer pay and you pay to the vendor.
In third-party processing, you place a purchase order with a vendor to deliver goods or perform a service for a third party (for example, for a customer).
This means that your company does not deliver the material. You forward the order to an external vendor instead, who then sends the material directly to the customer and invoices you.
Third-party processing is carried out in the components SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management). By creating a third-party item in a sales order, purchase requisition, or purchase order, you can request that the vendor sends the goods directly to your customer. A document can consist of one or more third-party items.
    Activities
    Entering a Sales Order
You enter a third-party item in a sales order. The system automatically creates a purchase requisition item for each third-party item in the sales order.
Entering a Purchase Order to Vendor
You enter a purchase order with a third-party item with reference to the requisition third-party item.
    Delivering Goods to Customer
The vendor supplies the goods to the customer. To document this step in the system, you can post a statistical goods receipt in Inventory Management. However, this is not compulsory.
    Entering a Vendor Invoice
The vendor sends you an invoice. You enter the invoice receipt in Invoice Verification. The invoice receipt is necessary before a billing document can be created in SD.
Creating a Billing Document for the Customer
In SD, you create a billing document for the sales order. Depending on the Customizing settings (whether or not the billing-relevant indicator is set for the item category in SD), you draw up the billing document on the basis of the order quantity or on the basis of the quantity specified in the vendor invoice. If the customer is billed on the basis of the order quantity, you can create the billing document immediately after the sales order is entered. If the customer is billed on the basis of the quantity specified in the vendor invoice, you cannot create the billing document until the vendor invoice has been entered in Invoice Verification.
If you do not use the SD component, third-party orders can be handled completely in Materials Management. Here you enter a third-party order (or a purchase requisition) manually with the item category S and account assignment category X. In this procedure, the activities Entering a sales order and Creating a billing document for the customer are eliminated.

  • Cutomizing of Third Party Order

    Hi All,
Can any help me in the process of customizing of Third Party Orders in SD and MM.

    hi
in third party processing the material should have item category group as "BANS" and the item category should be "TAS" which results in schedule line category "CS" which should have "NB" as document type.
first create a vendor with "XK01"
should have maontained purchase info record "ME01"
should have maintained source list "ME11"
now create a sales order using VA01 which will create the purchase requissition automatically as soon as you save the order.
now goto VA02 and schedule lines data make a note of purchase requisition number and now create a purcjhase order with ref to PR
goto ME57 or ME58 create a purchase order
    goto MIGO for goods recipt
    goto MIRO for invoice receipt

  • Third Party Order Billing Date

    Dear Group,
Can someone assist me on the issue i am having on Third Party Orders.  I have my system set up for Billing Relevenace = B (order related) so that i can create the billing document based onthe goods receipt.  We are doing goods reciept with inbound delivery.
What i need to know is how can i have billing date updated?  In the initial sales order the billing date is getting set based on the requested delivery date.  If the goods are shipped early the billing document is not coming up on the billing due list till the billing date on the sales order and thus will not be billed until the original bill date.
How are others dealing with this issue?
Another question, if we want to pass freight charges on to customer invoice how can we do that based on the inbound delivery?  I am adding freight to header delivery docuement for standard deliveries, but not able to get pricing procedure for inbound deliveris.
    Thanks in advance.

Why would you do an inbound delivery and goods receipt on a 3rd party order?  The point of 3rd party order is so you don't have to bring the inventory into the distribution center and process it in and out.  Your billing should be based on the statistical goods receipt on the purchase order, which is when the factory should deliver the goods to the customer.

  • Order Related Intercompany Billing - Third Party Order

    Dear all,
I have configured intercompany billing that is based on the delivery and i have done that successfully, then I tried the third party process but after billing the third party order then the intercompany billing doesn't show up in the vf04, I have searched the SAP Notes especially SAP Notes 63459 but I really haven't got the clue how to do that clearly, if somebody can help me how to configure the intercompany billing for my requirement. I'm using SAP 5.0. I believe something missing in the copying control between sales document and billing document and also for the output type. Please help me very urgent.

    hi,
Customizing settings are reported in notes 338922, 109254 and 308989.
During delivery creation the LIKP fields VKOIV/VTWIV/SPAIV/FKAIV/PIOIV/FKDIV/KUNIV must be filled in program FV50XFLK_LIKP_FUELLEN_IV_UML. If you checkt this table and not all of these fields are filled, you have the wrong the customizing. If the error is in your pruduction there is a report with which you can correct the relevant deliveries (of course after correcting your customizing): see note 176476.

  • Third party order processing in Thailand

    Hi,
does anyone know that for third party order processing in Thailand, where goods are shipped directly from the vendor to the customer, is it a legal requirement for Thailand to keep track of the in and out movement of the goods in SAP although the goods did not actually come in to the company before going to customer?
If that's the case, how can we handle this in the SAP system? Do we need to do goods receipt and then goods issue out from the inventory to record all the movement for the direct shipment?
please can anyone shed any lights on the above.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
the third party process is as fillows:
    1.  Item category is TAS and schedule line should be CS
    2.  MM01 general item category group is BANS
    3.  item category determination should be in T_184 table  ORBANSNIL+NIL=TAS
    4.  schedule line detrnination should be TAS+NIl=CS
    5.  process OR (VA01) and get the purchase requisition number from VA02
    6.  wrt PR create purchase order.
    7.  wrt PO verndor supplies stock directly to ur customer
    8. vertually u do GR in MIGO, that goes to directly stock consumption because ur accounts have  to be updated to that extent.(u dont do delivery and PGI, u receive GR that goes to consumption stock dierectly)
    9. Vendor message comes to u as goods supplied that u make settings PO item views
    10. basing on that you send the F2 to ur customer in VF01
