Deploying SP12 stack not entirely successful

I am trying to apply SP12 stack to my SP6 system. I have previously deployed SP9 and have been operational for months.
Several components of my system were not updated by the SPS12 stack due to errors, and based on the file versions it seems many components were not updated by my SP9 deployment, either.
I am displaying a list of the development and software components that were not updated to SP12 versions in the hopes that someone can advise me how to 'force' the current versions of these components to install.

Thank you for your kind assistance and words of wisdom - I have successfully updated all of the SP6 components to their SP12 versions.
If you are still monitoring this thread, I do have another question about an SP9 component named SAP_DEVINF. I redeployed this component along with SAPDEVINFF to update previous errors, and was able to complete all but the component tc/SL/CMS/PCS and what appears to be a dependant component tc/SL/CMS/WebUI. Do you have any knowledge of the usage of these items? If they control rarely used functionality, I may defer researching the error to a later date.

FIM Service database could not be successfully deployed. Error: Timeout Expired

I have a simmilar issue as per

The setup is on a LAB environment with AD, SQL 2008 R2, Exchange 2010 and the FIM server is on different servers. FIM Synchronization completed succesfully on the same server and there is no connection problem with SQL.
The FIM Server details:

The Installation account of the "FIM Service & Portal" is the FIM Service account and have SYSADMIN rights on SQL,
There is a mailbox for the FIM service account and it can access owa. The EWS certifacte was aso added to "Trusted People - Local Computer". The FIM Service and Portal Setup run and then give the following errors:

Hi,
I know this thread is old, but i just ran into this same problem and had been trouble shooting it for a few days. In the end the resolution to installing it on the SQL Cluster was to change the size of the model database. I finally found the link below and
change the value from 102 to 2 and it worked. I will say that in another test environment I was able to install with the value of 102. So in my case there could have been something else going on. Regardless, it finally worked.

Deployed mobile application not appearing in Mobile component

Hi Experts
I have downloaded the standard MAM (MAMLAPTOP3006_0-20001490.ZIP SAP MOBILE ASSET MANAGEMENT 3.0 SR 06 (Laptop) patch level - 0)
From this I have a standard .war file which I am deploying in NWT server (10.191.97.208)
I am successfully able to deploy the application in MI admin
But the deployed application is not visible in the list of mobile components
However this component is clearly visible in sysinfo.
Kindly suggest what can be done to resolve the issue.

Yo have an autorization problems. The possible reasons are:
1- The client have not downloaded the user information from the DOE.
2- You have not triggered a doe load for the SAP BASIS Component
3 - The user have not the required roles on the Mobile Server

Moving Images Inside of Stack (not using context menu)

I have not had success moving images around in an expanded stack using the drag-and-drop functionality of the mouse. When I do try to drag an image within the stack, I get an outline of an image but when I try to drop to a new location within the stack, nothing happens.
Using the context menu to re-order a bunch of images is impractical.
What am I doing wrong?

I don't believe you are doing anything wrong. It appears the only thing you can do by mouse to a expanded stack, besides close it to the stack, is click the white box with the, i.e. [4 of 10] to make that image the top image.

Assets deployed in BCC not appear in Dynamo

Hi people!
I am facing a problem related to BCC/Dynamo, the situation is that, after I have inserted some assets (category, product and skus) and full deployed the project in BCC, the assets do not appear in the Dynamo interface. The wierd thing is that the success message about the full deployment is in the Overview panel of the BCC. I also have check the database and the assets data are only in the PUB tables and not in the CATA and CATB.
Does someone have gone through this problem? Can you give me some help?

Check there is no error during the deployment and your deployment done successful.
Also make sure that you have accept the final deployment otherwise transaction not get commit.
Also go to your project in BCC and check the status for successful deployment
Verify the product information on site, search for product and verify the changes.

ADFC-00025: The ADF controller has not been successfully initialized.

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0, create a simple ADF face page, which is running fine in Inetgrated Weblogic server, and package it as a War file by using Jdeveloper, I chose Weblogic 10.3 as the target server. I deployed the War file to Weblogic managed server on the Unix box by using its console. The deployment is fine and the web application is active. I get ControllerException when I run the page. Please see the exception log. I don't know what goes wrong. Thank you very much for your help.

You asked this question in a wrong forum. You should have asked it in {forum:id=83} because the question is related to ADF Faces but not to WebLogic.
ADF Faces application cannot be deployed as a WAR. You should deploy the application as EAR because ADF Faces applications need some resources which are deployed as part of EAR (e.g. some OPSS configuration filles, some ADF configuration files, JDBC DataSources, etc.).

Hello,
I am new to deploying web applications to OracleAS. They deploy fine to the local OC4J instance but when deploying to the application server I am getting an error. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I have been trying to track down what this error means: DCM command did not complete successfully (-8)

Here is one possible solution for that -8 code
I had everything up and runnig running. Deploy was working fine.
Then for some reason, I opened one of the deployed file on the server using the text editor. That file remained open, as I then started deploying the app from my Jdev to the server. I started getting this -8 error code.
Not knowing what went wrong, I noticed the file on the server open in the text editor. So closed that open server file --- closed that editor and deployed app again from Jdev. AND It worked !!!

seem like my colleague was able to deploy successful..i would like to used OC4J instance name as the destination of my deployment. due to wsrp container that we installed in this instances.

I am getting below error while running adcfgclone on APPS tier

A Connection to the deployment share could not be made....

Hi,
I know this question has been posted a fair number of times on the forums but so far none of the responses have fixed my issue.
I am having trouble connecting to the deployment share receiving the error message below.
"A connection to the deployment share could not be made. The deployment will not proceed.
The following networking device did not have a driver installed PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_00041179&REV_10"
I have downloaded the correct network drivers and even installed Windows 7 manually and added
the drivers to check they are correct drivers.
I have added them to the OOB drivers in the deployment share and then updated and also regenerated
the deployment share. Then i have updated the .wim file in the boot images folder but yet i still cannot get past this stage.
Does anyone have any further ideas that i could try?

Connection to the deployment share could not be made (network driver not installed)

Hi guys! i bought the new laptop Dell Latitude E6510 and try to install the enterprise image but i got the error:
"A connection to the deployment share could not be made. The deployment will not proceed. The following networking device did not have a driver installed PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_10EA&SUBSYS_040B1028&REV_05."
I look on internet and i found out that it is the intel network card driver missing. So i get the driver from Dell website and i added this drivers in the MDT console.
Then i have updated the deployment share to rebuild the boot images. Everything went fine but i always get this error.
Am I missing something ?

I too was having the problem...
the single thing that I was forgetting is that while I was recreating & regenerating the images in the deployment workbench. I wasn't burning & booting from a CD...
because (aha) I'm clever & using Windows deployment services to boot across the network & save all that time burning CDs etc.
Doh, I didn't update the WIM that WDS was using...
Open your windows deployment services console,
expand out servers : <server name> : boot images
Right click your boot image (I have 2, one for x86 & one for x64),
choose "replace image" then navigate to your newly regenerated WIM images
(probably C:\deployment_share\boot) & choose the appropriate WIM file.
do this for any images you have, reboot your client machine & BAM, deployment goodness.
MS should really add a module for PXE boot (etc) into the deployment workbench rather than have 2x deployment solutions & use the deployment module from one & the boot module from the other.
Anyhoo, works now, must make a mental note to remember this in future...
