Deployment Error in NWDS
Hi All..
When i deploy my application on portal , i get following error::
Deployment exception : Server eppune did not accept login request as admin on port 50118. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server eppune at port 50118: Connection timed out: connect
Inner exception was :

Any idea regarding it??

Hi,
could you plz check in your machine in the host file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc server entry is there or not.
And one more thing you can do is from your NWDS you can try to ping the server for this go to:-
Window->Preference->Java Development Infrastructure->Develpoment Configuration. in that one url input field is there, give you server ULR i.e. http://<name>:50000/irj.
if you are able to ping then ok, if not then problem...from NWDS to server.......:)

I am able to over deployment problem. It was due to some error in code of view i created. because of that, it was giving deployment error.
Now, when i goto NWA->Configuration -> Process and Task -> Process Repository, I can see my deployed DC's. When i select my process and go to start process, Start Process button is blurred (means read only). Can you please help me on this?

Web service deployment error - CE 7.2(CAF)
I am getting deployment error for CE 7.2 CAF application.
it was working fine. Suddenly with out any changes in the code or the web service, I am not able deploy the application.
if I remove the modeled service , it is successfully deployed. But modeled service is required to expose the service for other applications.

It seems u dont have the correct sdm password or someone has changed the sdm password.It has not accepted the credentials u have given during deployment.
Check with all Sap enterprise portal settings in the prefernces/NWDS
The host name,alias,port
If not done with
Try to change the sdm password using this Password trouble in SDM
restart server again after changes

- Stop nd restart the sdm from yor NWDS and deploy once again

I have a setup of SAP ECC 6.0 with both ABAP stack and JAVA stack installed.
I can see the JAVA Stack running as well as I can see the SDM also running fine.
inside my NWDS when i insert the server details I can see the server showing me GREEN icons
when I try to deploy my webdynpro application it tells me for SDM password.
When I put the password it shows
Deployment error occurs when deploying from IDE, the following message is displayed:
Server XXX did not accept login request as admin on port 50018
Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server XXX at port
50018: XXX
I have changed the SDM password and then also it giving me the same error.
Can someone help me on this issue as I am unable to find a solution of this.

I have created a track and trying to transport a request from dev to prod.
When i am trying to import the request in test tab in CMS the following error is there:

You can set the trace level in the SAP/Java Gui dynamically :
Call transaction SMICM
Choose the menu Goto → Trace Level → Set
In the pop-up window, set the desired level (0,1,2,3)
To switch on an /nSMICM or ICM HTTP trace via command line you should go to
usr\sap\<SID>\<instance_number>\exe directory and run the icmon program with the following command:
icmon◦◦pf=\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile\<SID>_<instance_name>_<HOST>
where you fill in the SID, instance name and host corresponding to your system.
The icmon program is interactive and to increase trace level you must write
"+" and pres enter.To quit you must write "q" and press enter.
The trace will be written◦to the following file: usr\sap\<SID>\<instance_number>\work\dev_icm

I think you have to configure your NWDS, You got to set the J2EE Engine Settings in Windows - Preferences - SAP J2EE Engine. Please change the Host name to your J2EE Host name, and please donot change the PORT NUMBER.

Deployment error while deploying targeters in BCC
Hi,
I am trying to create a targeter with content groups and media internal texts. Whenever i deploy a project with these assets, i get deployment error.
It says "Deployment '169200010' to target 'production' encountered a system level deployment error during data transfer. An automatic rollback deployment has successfully occurred, preserving the state of target 'production'. Click 'Resume' to re-attempt the deployment."
I checked for the VFS set up for targeters and content groups and they are in place.
There are 3 assets in the project. It says the asset already exists

I have set the ORACLE_HOME that points to SOA install directory i.e.
C:\Documents and Settings>echo %ORACLE_HOME%
C:\Oracle_Software\1013\soa
One more thing is that if I install the Developer Version and even though the ORACLE_HOME is not set this works fine i.e. DocumentReview it's only that in the Midtier install version it doesn't work.
The BPELProcess gets deployed and even the task is assigned but when logging into worklist and selecting the task I see the following error:
Not Found
The requested URL /default/DocumentReview/1.0/DocumentReview/DocumentReview.jsp was not found on this server.
Oracle-Application-Server-10g/10.1.3.1.0 Oracle-HTTP-Server Server at localhost Port 7779
It's because at deployment time I get that security error and parent application not found and it never deploys the jsp's. Now in the logs I don't see anything. It's only in JDeveloper I see those errors at deployment time. Here is the domain.log:

Process "DocumentReview" (revision "1.0") successfully compiled.

Now even though the log says process deployed successfully it only deploys the BPEL Process but no jsp forms deployed. I hope there's nothing special we have to do. This issue can be recreated by installing the Midtier version of SOA and configure it with OID and then try deploying DocumentReview Process provided in the demos.
I hope I have provided all the information.
Thanks and waiting for a feedback as we have to decide on whether we go using BPEL 10.1.3 and this is a critical piece of it. -
Deployment error while running the application
Hi Every body,
I am new to JEE though an old pro at JDK.I have also worked on tomcat.
I have got Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 installed with NetBeans 6.1 on winXP.
I am trying to create a EJB app-client module.I even tried to run the sample application AnnotationOverrideInterceptor given in NetBeans . Every thing goes fine.The Build is also Successful but when i run it, i recieve the error message Deployment error .The module has not been deployed.

Deployment error in JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 when deploying 11.1.1.3 application
We have built a bpm application using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3. Now we have upgraded the server to new version 11gR3 and have also upgraded our jdeveloper to 11.1.1.4.
We have opened in Jdeveloper(11.1.1.4) the exisitng bpm application developed in older version (11.1.1.3) and when trying to deploy the application to the 11gR3 server getting the following deployment error in jdeveloper:

This deployment error is happening only when the UI project is deployed along with the composite. When I open the Project Properties --> Library, I notice that a Library "ALE Component" is displayed in exclamation. Even after removing this library I am getting the same deployment error. Will be grateful if any help is suggested to this issue.Yes, you need to update the library reference apparently. (I just started again.)
Try adding the following library ref to your weblogic.xml of UI project
