Deployment with deployejb

Question

Hi,
I have some problems with the command line tool deployejb.
I tried to deplyoy a EJB-bean called aaa.
The the jar-file aaaSource_generated.jar is generated, but then then publishing
fails with the message: "You do not have permission to create the object aaa"
What for permissions do I need for publishing the EJB home?
I am using:
Oracle 8.1.7 on NT 4.0

Can anybody help me.

This means that you are trying to publish your ejb on a JNDI path to which you do not have access (i.e. the user/pw that you used to deployejb doesn't have access to that directory). To find out which directories the user has access to, you can log into JNDI using the session shell (sess_sh) and do a "ls -l" to find out RWX permissions.
A Hint: if you deploy anything as test/aaa for eg. under the test directory then it should work because the directory "test" has public access for RWX.
