Desbloquear puertos Port Secutity con LMS 4.2

Hola Chicos Buenos Dias.
Por favor ayudenme, como puedo desbloquear puertos por medio del cisco prime lms 4.2. En mi trabajo voy a delegar esta funcion al helpdesk y no quiero darle acceso a los Switch´s.
Tenemos aproximadamente 2000 Switch´s Catalyst 2960 TTL y 3960.

Any way to find unused ports in Prime LMS 4.2.3 ?

Hi all,
We have just installed Prime LMS 4.2.3 (about a week ago), and it is pretty much working as expected, except for one thing - I cannot get any data back from the reclaim ports report.
I have tried both the Ports Up and Ports Down options, and have even taken the time frame down to one day, but always receive a "no records" result. Has anyone got this working?
Pretty much every other report I've tried so far returns results, just not this one.... We really need to use it to determine (over a period of time) what our actual port usage is for our replacement schedule over the next few years.

Hi Afroz,
The detailed device report is really useful, as it contains the time of the port change - I ran it for the switch I was interested in, and then exported the data into Excel and sorted on port status and change date to get the info I needed.
I also ran the "Reclaim up ports" again with the interval set for 15 days with zero result, however when I changed this to 5 days I started to get some info - my guess is that the data that is needed for this report is collected once every week or so.
My server has been running for nearly two weeks now, so I will let it do it's thing for about a month, then run the report again to get some better statistics.

Ho un pc con SLC5, con interfaccia USB-RS232 e sto cercando di parlare con fieldpoint. Visaconf vede correttamente 4 interfacce (/dev/ttyUSB0, 1, 2, 3), mappate su ASRL1::INSTR .. ASRL4::INSTR.
Se provo ad usare "Advanced Serial Write and Read.vi", va sempre in timeout.
Se provo ad aprire "Optomux Send General Command.vi", lo trovo "rotto" (il parametro "VISA resource name" è connesso al "Port number" di "FPOptoHandler.vi".
Mi manca qualcosa ? Oppure cosa c'e' di sbagliato ?

VLAN port assignment on LMS 4.2

I have noticed that only the auxiliary(Voice) vlan is showing up on new deployed switch ports even though both Data and Voice vlans are configured. Since the native vlan does not show up, the technicians are unable to assign other vlans on the ports. Any idea what causes this behavior?

Cisco Prime LMS does NOT have the WAN QoS deployment capabilities packaged up nicely the way QPM did. It does, however, offer the Auto Smartports and MediaNet work centers that aid in setting up (primarily) endpoint switch ports. See this link for more details.
I believe the best one could do with respect to MAN/WAN devices' QoS settings using LMS would be to create deployment templates and do compliance checks.

Change SMTP port at LMS 3.2

Im installing LMS 3.2 and customer smtp server is listening at 26 port.
There's a way to change this default port (25) into LMS to connect to maill.xxxx.com 26 ?
I got this error message cause i didnt connect to 25.
"Invalid IP address or server name for mail server. Please enter a valid SMTP server name or leave the 'SMTP Server' field blank."

Para reenviar los puertos de la RV220W, debe utilizar un servicio personalizado y una Lista de Control de Acceso. Haga lo siguiente:
1. En primer lugar, eliminar las reglas de reenvío de puertos que ya ha creado. Usted no necesita los mismos.
2. Ve a hacer Firewall> Avanzado> Servicios personalizados. Crear dos servicios de los clientes. Ver:
3. Ir a reglas de acceso y haga clic en Agregar regla. Crear la regla como la siguiente y luego haga clic en Guardar.

Desafortunadamente, el Time Capsule debe estar conectado con el módem mediante un puerto Ethernet, que no tiene el módem USB. No puede usar el Time Capsule.
Hay algunos routers llamados MiFi en los Estados Unidos a los cuales se les puede conectar un módem USB y difundir su señal de Internet mediante Wi-Fi, por lo que podrá conectar sus dispositivos. Consúltelo con su operadora.
Puede que también encuentre otros modelos de router con esta característica. Por ejemplo, el router que suministra Movistar España (y también en Sudamérica) está provisto de un puerto USB para conectar un módem USB

Problemas con la previsualización de videos en Adobe Premiere Pro CS6

Hola, tengo Adobe Premiere CS6 instalado en Windows 8. Parece que funciona bien hasta que importo un vídeo en formato AVI (ya que el formato MTS no lo reproduce con audio). En ese momento, el programa va lento, se bloquea, no responde...es imposible continuar.
He observado que esto no me pasa con los archivos MTS, pero claro, tengo que convertirlos a AVI para que se importe también el audio.
Curiosamente esto no me pasaba con Windows 7, iba perfectamente.
Me compré un nuevo portátil con Windows 8 y con una tarjeta gráfica más potente (NVIDIA GeForce 610M), así que no creo que ese sea el problema.
Por qué en un ordenador menos potente funcionaba bien y ahora no? Estoy desesperada, gracias!

SSH to non standard port

Hi,
We have some routers that we SSH to on a port other than 22. Is there a way in Ciscoworks to configure it to use a different port for some devices? Is CiscoWorks using the perl SSH module as I see a file ssh.pm which could possibly be used to configure this, though I have no idea on correct syntax.

This cannot be changed. LMS hardcodes the SSH port number. LMS does not use Perl for SSH. It makes use of proprietary Java code.

Questioned Devices in LMS - DFM

Hi, We are running LMS 3.2 (windows) and I have a group of switches I am trying to monitior in DFM.
I have discovered the devices in device management successfully. Then I import the devices into DFM they always go into a questioned state.
Several attempts with the same results have been tried.
I checked in MARS and I see denies from my LMS server to the devices Im trying to import to DFM. The traffic seems to be in relation to when Im attemping the imports to DFM. The denies are on UDP-137. Is this port needed from LMS to the device for DFM to discover and monitor it ???
I have increased the SNMP Timeout to 14 seconds 3 retries
DFM version is 3.2.0
Credentials are correct for the monitored devices

No, udp/137 is not required. The devices must be pingable and reachable via SNMP. Make sure the LMS server can ping the management IP addresses of these devices.

tengo problemas de comunicacion con el monocromador acton research spectral-pro modelo-500, estoy usando el puerto serial, pero no obtengo respuesta al enviar los comandos, ya configure el puerto de acuerdo con las especificaciones, ademas tambien cambie el tiempo de comunicacion, me podrian decir que otro problema podria estar sucediendo, si tienen algun ejemplo les agradeceria que me lo mandaran

devo generare una sine waveform con una certa fase iniziale ma che sia reentrant, in quanto sto simulando una digital down conversion e genero per ogni simbolo la moltiplicazione dei campioni del simbolo trasmesso con un numero di campioni uguali di una sinusoide con una certa frequenza. Quindi per ogni simbolo devo far partire la sinusoide con la fase con cui ha terminato l'iterazione precedente. Inoltre, dato che sto simulando una 16 QAM ho la necessità di creare due portanti, una seno ed una coseno, entrambe rientranti, ma con fase iniziale sfasata di 90 ° tra loro. Però, il vi SineWaveform ignora la phase se il segnale di Reset è false, come nel mio caso.

So, for each symbol I need that sine waveform starts with the phase with which ends the previous sine waveform( related to previous symbol). Also, since I am simulating a 16 QAM modulation,I need to create a sine and a cosine, but the initial phase of 90 ° out of phase with each other. scusami per il ritardo con cui ti rispondo, ma sono stato abbastanza impegnato. Ho dato un'occhiata al tuo codice, e così com'è strutturato la sine carrier waveform non aggiorna la fase iniziale ad ogni ciclo inquanto è sempre e comunque impostata a phase = 0. Ho implementato un semplice codice che, data una waveform in ingresso, ne ricostruisce la fase e ti restituisce quella dell'ultimo campione della sinusoide in ingresso. A questo punto ti suggerisco di introdurre uno shift register nel for loop. Inizializzandolo a 0 (all'esterno del ciclo), collegandolo all'input phase del Sine waveform generator.vi sei sicuro che ad ogni iterazione la sinusoide portante parte con fase iniziale uguale a quella dell'ultimo campione della sinusoide precedente.
Quindi ricapitolando dovresti:
1) Aggiungere uno shift register al for loop. inizializzato a 0;
2) Collegare l'estremo sinistro dello shift register all'input phase del tuo waveform generator;
3) Inserire il VI allegato a valle del waveform generator;
4) Riportarti l'uscita del Last element phase reconstr.vi all'estremo destro dello shift register precedentemente inserito.
Spero sia tutto abbastanza chiaro, sperando di aver correttamente interpretato le tue problematiche a riguardo.

Activar 2 o más salidas digitales con una señal

Hola.
haciendo el control de un aire acondicionado, a taves de arduino y labview y se me presentó la siquiente problemática, necesito activar las salidas digitales 2, 3 y 4 con una señal, 2 y 3 con otra y solo la salida 2 con un botón de On.
Agradeceria mucho vuetra ayuda.

debe de utilizar el "Set Digital Pin Mode" para especificar que los pines son salidas. Para mayor facilidad, puede incluirlos en un for loop. Seguidamente, necesita poner todos los valores a escribir en un array booleano y lo cablea a la entrada del "Digital Write Port".
Con respecto a la consulta anterior, pareciera ser que debe de hacer lo mismo solamente que utilizando "Digital Write Pin" y podría controlarlo mediante una estructura case para conocer cuales pines desea habilitar. Creo que con eso sería lo suficientemente funcional.
Espero pueda servirle la información suministrada y si no fuera así, podría aclarar mejor la consulta o añadir su vi para entenderlo mejor?
