Despite of my passwords are saved in the firefox option security, but still when i login i need to enter it each time? i`m facing thing from past one month however, at first it works well. Please help
my firefox browser used to store passwords so i need not to enter it every time i login although passwords are saved (I can see them in Firefox>Options>security) but i need to enter my ID & passwords each time. furthermore i need to rename my computer each time when i login to sites like facebok though i put a mark to remember it.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

CP8 Interactions and slides with audio and closed captions - not working well - please help
Okay, I am using cp8 on a windows 8 64 bit machine. I have placed an interaction on a slide. I also have audio on that slide and closed captions.
When I get to the slide, the audio does not play because the mere fact that the interaction is on there makes the slide pause upon enter. I could have the student click play on the playbar to go, but that is not required on slides without interactions, so I don't like that solution. I also could do an On Enter slide Play Audio and pick the wav file, but then the closed captions don't show up.
So, the question is, how do I have the slide automatically play the audio at the slide level without the student having to click the play button to go?? Slides with interactions should behave just like other slides with objects/widgets on them. This auto pausing thing is driving me nuts!

LoriLori, this is puzzling! Are you talking about one of the learning interactions included with Captivate? If yes, which one? My puzzlement is due to the fact that what you described is what happened in CP6: interaction paused slide at first frame (I had a workaround for audio). But since CP7 interactions do not pause any slide, you'll have to provide the pause yourself. There are some exceptions (games).

My Blackberry Curve (sprint) is 5 months old and suddenly stopped working. Please Help
Sprint has been absolutely zero help on this matter.
It suddenly turned off and will not turn back on. I get a green light while it is plugged in, a red light after a battery reset followed by a brief screen flash. Very brief! I can access programs from blackberry desktop. I have removed the 4 third party apps I had, updated the OS, and still nothing. I've had to buy a pre-paid junk phone to check my voice mail! What do I do? I've restored, reset, updated, removed... I'm really at a loss. I'm not a complete newb, and don't claim to know the phone inside and out, but I'm not an **bleep** either! After reading some of the threads here for help, I'm ahead of the curve.
(No Pun Intended, and that is just to let you know where I'm at, so you don't reccomend a battery pull.)

Are you able to use the Desktop Manager's Backup and Restore feature to backup all of the data on the phone? Do you rember when you reloaded the OS if you chose the option to erase all applications and data?
May have to end up using the jl_cmdr utility to wipe the device and try reloading the OS again

From Mac to PC & vice versa, will it work? please help. thanks
Hi, I'm wondering how well will Mac be able to work with PC or vice versa? I need to work on Adobe After Effect on Mac and would need to bring the working file (.aep file) across to PC. If the After Effect on my Mac is an earlier version or the same as the PC one, will I be able to pick up where I left off when I bring it over to PC? And I will need to bring the working file over again from PC to Mac (.aep file). My mac is a 20 inch iMac G5, and the PC is running on Windows XP.

The compatability is very much to do with the software and how compatible the two versions are. I have found very little problem in sharing files between mac and pc since I upgraded to osx, in fact I have my pc and mac networked and can pick up and open files across the network. Other adobe packages work well and I have not had problems with packages like quark and office.
Unfortunatly I don't have any experience with after effect, but I would suggest you create a few dummy files to play with and move them back and forth making changes and see how it goes. It can depend on exactly what you have setup in the software that relies on if that particular part is compatible.
Be brave and give it a try.

The cable that I'm using came with my 5th gen nano. The 6th gen Ipod shows that it's connected but the computer doesn't see it, so I don't think that it's the cable.
I did try this before when looking at the troubleshooting guide and nothing happens. It just resets and then the Ipod screen tells me that it's connected to the computer. It still is unseen by Itunes and no where to be found in my computer.
I don't have another computer to plug it into at the moment but I may be able to visit a friend that owns a decent PC in a few days. If that doesn't work out I will be getting a new lap top in a week and I'm hoping that it will work on that, but it won't be a Mac. So, let's say it works when I plug it into one of these computers, should I reset my Ipod from there or is there something else I should do? -

When you say all details are correct i'm assuming you verified via iTunes on computer and included your security code.

Cannot seem to change Firefox so that it keeps more than 2 days history.
You can look at these prefs on the about:config page to make sure that you keep history.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?
It is a windowsXP operating system with SP2 installed on a machine with P4 processor.

I go to settings and switch "Automatic time" off and then back on. It works for a while, but then just goes back to being off. I've tried manually setting the time, but it just goes back to what it was before. If I send a text, it sends and then disapears. I can't see what I wrote! I went in to Apple to try and get it fixed, but they just restored my phone. It's still not working. Please help!
It's not hacker or a virus. You are experiencing what a number of users of iOS 5 are experiencing now - sluggish or less than perfect iPad performance. It seems that for some of us - memory management has gotten a little out of whack with this most recent update. Some of the basic troubleshooting steps that you can try are ....
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Close apps in the recents tray. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If you have Safari crashing issues - Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
None of these steps should be necessary as part of your daily routine - the iOS is supposed to handle all of this without any user input. Once again - for some of us - the iOS is letting us down.
Until Apple releases another update that resolves this issue for the "few" that suffer, keep these steps in mind and use them as needed. -

It sounds like the function to reseize the Font in an iBook is not functioning properly.
I recommend a few things here. First close all the apps that are running in the background:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

When you have done that, restart the phone, and try again.

2. Check for app updates
You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:

3. Install another app from the App Store

4. Restart the app
If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
5. Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
6. Reinstall the affected app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store.
Search for the app and then download it again.
