Hi Vijay,
With regards to the email, enclosed below the detailed explanation on the SAP - Certification for Associate.
The rules of registering for SAP certification are considerably different in the countries located in Asia-Pacific region that includes India. This difference is important and has to be discussed in more details because it directly influences the overall cost of becoming a certified SAP specialist.
To appear for the associate level certification without attending any SAP course you need a minimum of 1 (one) year of SAP implementation experience or 2 (two) years of support experience with a minimum of 6 (six) months experience in the module and version of SAP in which you are going to get certified.
The last year of your work experience should be with your present employer.
Your present employer should be either a customer or a partner of SAP.
Enclosed below the are the fees structures for different regions as per the link provided below:
SAP Certification Cost, SAP Certification Fees - SAP Certification

France

But getting a slot to write the exam in Dubai is easy and the cost is $400 to appear for Associate. If you are still working for the same company in SAP - FI then i think it should not be a problem for you to write the exam without any training.
Wish you good luck and I hope it solves your purpose.
Cheers

  • Certification cost of SAP-CO

    Hi,
Can anybody tell me the training and certification cost of SAP-CO(Controlling (CO).
    Thanks,

    Dear Srini
The training and certification cost depends on your mode of training for CO . The certification fee is going to be the same , but the training going will vary. the training can be availed through classroom and e-learning. Better you cna contact to Siemens / Genovate or any SAP authorised training center. There you can get the details.the classroom trining is always going to be higher to e-learning.Classroom is going to touch you some around three lakhs indian rupees including your certification cost.

  • Cost of Spotify Premium for different countries in relation to USD.

Cost of Spotify Premium for different countries converted to USD.
    Australian dollar $11.99  = $12.5
    Euro 9.99€  = $12.5
    Swiss franc 12.95 = $13.5
    Swedish kronor 99 =  $15
    British pound 9.99 = $15.8
    Danish krone 99 = $16.64
    Norwegian krone 99 = $17
Price for Spotify premium in the US: $9.99
I could come up with several different reasons why this is how it is, however I would like someone who actually works at spotify to state the reasons why the price for spotify premium differs so much between countries. And why it would be cheapest in the USA.
    Thank you.

Yes, but when you're buying a jacket.. or a DVD (a lot of jurisdictions, it's not illegal to have a region free player, only to circumvent copy protection - copy protection and region locking being distinct concepts that often vendors will attempt to intertwine but are distinct as aims).. or a CD, you can import it from that cheaper market - in some cases still cheaper with shipping than if you bought it locally even factoring in local consumption taxes. Sure, it might have some different promotional tracks, or different "extra features", or different language options in the subtitles... but the core content's generally going to be the same.
Case in point. I have an Android phone. I needed an MHL adaptor. I checked local retailer ... $40AUD
    I checked a retailer online.. $30AUD - shipped..
It took a week to arrive, but arrive it did.
With digitally distributed, geo-IP locked content - you lose that ability to shop across markets. To me, it sends the wrong signals to charge one group of people one price, and another group of people another price for the mostly the same content when it's available on the same global network. In essence, you're punishing people who you're trying to ween off the "internet is free" mentality into the world of subscriptions and micropayments.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate spotify in and of itself - I've been using it a lot at work of late and a lot of friends, both in Australia and internationally have given it a go. It's totally awesome to be able to hear something on the radio or in a movie or on TV.. tag it with Shazam or Google Music Search.. and then to key it into Spotify and hear it play on demand. It's also totally awesome that there's a linux client available - which although in alpha - works.. stably.. (one reason you'll never find me buying an Apple product is the whole 'thalt shall use iTunes' mantra)... and ok, maybe I'm not your average consumer (running Linux on the desktop, stock Android on my phone with root access, bearded and a system administrator - living stereotype much?).. but I'm interested in doing the right thing, and I know content has to move to pay with advertising revenues falling and content, well, more generally intellectual property, increasingly becoming a new and renewable commodity in a world where consumption of physical resources needs to be curtailed.
I know the local record companies probably play into the mix.. and that by taking a segmented market approach as opposed to a global market approach, there's probably a certain "flagfall" cost in smaller markets that means a higher cost as the smaller markets won't be able to match the economies of scale that would enable larger markets to charge a lower price per user but still make more by having more room to play with the margins. I guess it just grinds my gears that the price for the same 1s and 0s is higher.
I guess we'll see what happens if/when spotify considers mobile provider partnerships (especially in countries like Australia where unlimited data often has many asterisks/T&Cs, doesn't exist or costs a lot), and if the AUD should fall against the USD (we're holding above parity for awhile now)... if the price will rise then or hold?
I'll probably succumb when my advertising supported listening is cut back to 2.5 hours a week if I'm still working in a business that allows employees to stream :) .. I guess it's just being so familiar with what the currency's doing and initially being very interested in mobile streaming - and having heard things on US sites talking about the price - to find out, "no, you actually pay more".. well.. it kinda dulled the shine a bit.
I hope you find my post (although perhaps a bit long winded) polite. I believe such conversations are always best dealt with in an even tone.. and again FWIW, I do thoroughly enjoy and congratulate you on providing a working linux client... and in an apt repository at that!

    Hi Zafar,
As far as I know, there is no Treasury Certification in SAP for associate level.
    Please stay tuned with
    https://training.sap.com
The certification exams are updated from time to time.
However, I do not expect any certification on Treasury in near future.
    Hope this helps.

  • HR CEE add-ons for different countries in one system

    Hello,
is it possible to have HR CEE add-ons for different countries in one system?
Will SAP system work properly? What kind of risks of these imports?
    Thank you very much.

A couple of generic answers on add-ons
    - of course you can have several add-ons working on the same B1. To understand
the details on how add-ons are started and maintained by B1 desktop pls refer
to the e-learning available here on SDN
    - compatibility of add-ons. There is no generic answer to this, it depends on the
functionality and implementation of the two add-ons. Anyway, if two add-ons are
functionally independent and they follow the solution guidelines, then they should
be interoperable. You can find the solution certification guidelines here on SDN
under the ICC section: these rules cover points like namespaces, event handling,
user table and form creation and so on that enforce interoperability.

Where to start with BW Training
There are two logical entry points to the SAP BI curriculum. The first is BW305-BW Reporting. The other is BW310-BW Data Warehousing. Depending on your focus and responsibilities, you would pick the one of most interest.
BW305 is the starting point for all the reporting functions of BW. It includes both web-based and BEx Analyzer-based (MS Excel) reporting techniques.
BW310 teaches the student how a data warehouse is put together and populated. Students learn to create various objects for the extraction and storage of data from both R/3 source systems and from flat files.
After those courses, the rest of the curriculum is specific to the role one has on the project. You can get a picture of the whole curriculum path at:
    http://www50.sap.com/useducation/curriculum/mySAP.asp?tid=4
Please find out what version of BW you are using and if there are plans to upgrade:

    www.sap.com/useducation
This will bring up the SAP Education Page and at the right side of the page double-click on “SAP Certifications” link and you’ll see information about the various types of certification offered, suggested course paths, exam schedules, etc.
SAP Consultant Certification is generally geared towards SAP Customers, Partners, Consultants and project team members involved in current implementation or planning for future implementation of SAP. The Solution Academy courses help prepares you for the certification exam. The Solution Academy is more like a fast track program which is a combination of level 2 and level 3 standard module courses offered in an average of 24 days of training and the certification exam is offered on the last day of the last class in the track.
To look at exams:  click on the “Exam Listings” link on the highlights box. This will give you the list of certification exams available. Clicking on the particular exam you are interested takes you to that exam’s page and click on “exam information” for the topic by topic information that is going to be covered in that exam.
For courses that help you prepare for certification, take a look at the Solution Academy Courses. Here is the link to the various Solution Academies you can choose from:
    http://www50.sap.com/useducation/curriculum/group.asp?tid=8
Once you click on a particular Academy, that link will give you the curriculum path or courses within that academy and there is a certification exam on the last day of the last class within that program.
To be certified, you actually have 3 options. First you can take the Solution Academy path choosing the solution or area of specialty you want to be certified in. This option is a fast track usually around 24 days of class with 1 day of certification exam.
The second option is for you to take the regular curriculum path for the specific solution you want to certify in. However, this includes more than 25 days of training and you will also have to pay for the certification exam separately at $500 each. Here is the link to the curriculum paths:
    http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education. Click on Application Courses.
The last option is not to take any classes at all but do self study or if you already have extensive background and training in the particular SAP solution you want to certify in. you can register for the exam. (We do not have self study materials to prepare you for the exam).
The Solution Academy for the BW/BI is:

    Hi
    Elgibility for Certification:
You should either complete your training in any Authorized Training Center or Should have experience of more than 2 years(not sure if it is 2 or 3 now) in the said module.
If you dont have any of the above, then certification wont happen in India.
    Vishwa.

  • Can SAP learning hub be helpful to me in getting SAP certification in India?

    Hello Friends,
I came to know about SAP Learning and found a very flexible for learning. As a working professional I found it very suitable for me to learn SAP at a time I want. But I have few queries which I would like to confirm.
    1) Is SAP learning Hub Partner edition available in India?
I have visited SAP training and Certification shop. when I select SAP Learning Hub partner edition it does not shows me any details for India. So is it possible to subscribe SAP Learning Hub editions from SAP India website.I assume that anybody can subscribe to all SAP Learning hub editions and not just SAP partners or Customers or affiliates. If i am wrong please guide me.
    2) Can SAP learning hub be helpful to me in getting SAP certification?
Since SAP Learning Hub is cloud-based training solution i found it suitable for me as i can learn it at anytime i want and also pursue my job along with it. i tried to search on SCN and found that for every country SAP has different policies for Training and Certification so I tried to find out using SAP Certification India website that you need to provide a copy of attendance certificate in order to get Associate Certificate.I inquired on helpline whether hours of training taken on SAP learning hub can be considered in training but they are silent on this query as they are not sure whether this can be considered or not. if it is considered how I need to provide the details of hours of training taken to them for certification. So I need to confirm that if i subscribe for SAP Learning Hub will the training taken on SAP learning hub be helpful for me in getting certification and attending Certification Exams.
I would be very grateful if anybody can guide me on this issue.
    Regards,
    Pratik

    Hi Pratik,
to your first point I cannot say anything about it.

Learning Hub can give you a hand by getting the certification, but it is not so, that you work through the content there and tata... got your certification. You need to work with the content which is explained there and get in touch with colleagues to get your question answered.
In my opinion it is a great initiative to get in touch with new things and to be a platform by side to reach the goals. But again, the learning hub itself won't give you a certification at all and if you pass it you might just have a paper saying something....
Hope I could give you a small clue and good luck with your preferred certification.

IPad 1 Safari crashes frequently. I went to many Apple stores in different countries and each Apple staff member had their own different opinions with no help. I had upgraded my iOS to 5.1.1 and the Safari crashing started about one year after the upgrade and some Apple staff blame this- but this started one year later after the iOS upgrade. Recently at the Apple Store in Vancouver an Apple staff reset my computer (erased everything and sent to iCloud to reset the iPad) and I hoped this would fix the problem. IPad Safari still crashes. Short of booking an appointment for taking it for repair to Apple technicians which will cost me money can anyone help me to fix this Safari crashing.

    Hi,
You might have a 3rd party plugin that isn't compatible with Safari 4.0.4. Go here for help...
Safari add-ons can cause performance issues or other situations
If you are using a USB hub, try disconnecting and restarting with just your keyboard and mouse connected.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.
Mac OS: Web Browser Quits Unexpectedly or Stops Responding
Also, you could download and install the 10.5.8 combo update (PowerPC) available here.
    http://support.apple.com/downloads/MacOS_X_10_5_8_ComboUpdate
It contains fixes that might help. Then repair disk permissions.
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

  • Customer Hierarchy details in SAP ERP BP transaction

    Dear All,
Currently we are using BP transaction in SAP ERP and also using customer hierarchy transaction VDH1N.
Now the problem is we cannot see customer hierarchy in BP transaction, we have any option that we can create relationship in the BP transaction, however its a double effort.  Is there any option that we can see the Customer Hierarchy details in SAP ERP BP transaction?
    Regards,
    Murali

    Hello Murali,
With BP transaction, do you mean business partners in XD03 / VD03?
    >> we cannot see customer hierarchy in BP transaction
No, you can't see the customer hierarchy in XD03. That's correct.
    In XD03 you have sold-to, payers, bill-to and ship-to.
You also have hierarchy nodes (012).
In my opinion, the customer hierarchy should only have relations between hierarchy nodes and sold-to(s).
Therefore these are different information segments => No need to see the hierarchy from the BP transaction.
Hint: Maybe that is the reason why the functionality is not available in the standard system!

  • Incorrect decimal notation of amounts for different countries

    Hi,
We are making payments to vendors across different countries through Cheques and BACS.
We are facing an issue with the decimal notation of amounts trhough APP run.
For UK based  vendors amount are passed to the cheque in the format 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand)
For non UK based vendors amounts are passed to the cheque in the format 10.000,00 (Ten Thousand)
Could you suggest on this issue?
    Thanks,
    Naresh

    Hi Naresh ,
Check the country specific settings in your system . The path for the same is:
SPRO > SAP Netweaver > General Settings > Set Countries > Specify Countries in mySAP system.
Check the Decimal point format setting for both US and UK in the same. I think in your system its maintained differently and because of which you are getting the error
    Hope it helps

  • Why is the price difference of apple products in different countries? For example in UAE price is different as compared to Germany?

Why is the price difference of apple products in different countries? For example in UAE price is different as compared to Germany?
MacBook Pro with retina price in US is USD1299 and same product price in Germany is 1299 Euro. Why???

Obviously all the answers up here are true.. but I think that was not the real meaning behind the question.
Every country has different currencies that not only convert differently to others but have a different and relative value for the inhabitants. For example although Forex says 1,3$ = 1€  for the average European and American 1$=1€.. that means that roughly inside your country what you buy inUS for 1$ you get in Europe for 1€ (ex: McDonalds hamburger).
Also each country has it's own taxes, different renting prices (for apple store), different VAT, etc...
But the real question is. Is Apple NEUTRAL to market conditions?
This means... does Apple adapt their margin on products to local conditions or not?
To make it simple... Let's say Apple ... everything considered... gets 100$ for an iPhone sold in US... Will Apple fix their price in other countries so that, after paying local taxes, local costs, etc... still.. for each iPhone they earn 100$ ??
Or they have different market strategies such as rising the prices in countries where people are richer and more likely to buy iPhones even if "overcharged"? Or on the other side.. do they lower prices in poor countries (obviously not under production cost) to help locals buy in Iphone?
I think that Apple is doing their best to stay neutral to the market.. that is... We want 100$ at the end of the day.. whatever...
So we have paradoxes because in some countries iPhone costs more while in these countries people earn less  (and I think this is not random.. but happens because.. usually.. countries with more regulations and taxes are also countries with lower wages... but that's politics!)
Here is a small comparison of iPhone 6 (16 Gb version) prices:
USA 550€........................ Average GDP per person  51.704 $  (calculated with California sales tax)
Switzerland 629 €............ Average GDP per person 44.864$
United Kingdom 687€....... Average GDP per person 36.569 $
Gerany 699€.................... Average GDP per person 38.666 $
France 709€................... Average GDP per person 35.295 $
    Italy 729€........................Average GDP per person 29.812 $
As you can see Apple seems not to care about living conditions in the country or about average wages etc.. they just have their price adjusted to local regulations and taxes. Europe has 2years warranty service for items sold in Apple Stores (and 1 for items sold in other stores where Apple is responsible only for the first year). We also have some other taxes... For example, here in Italy, we have a tax on hard drives (goes by the Gbyte) that affects any multimedia product. Tax is meant to finance artists whom you are supposedly "stealing" by having unauthorised copies on your portable device...  (I know.. is ridiculous). Etc...

    Hello Nancy, Satish,
I'm glad you are planning your certification exam. The material codes listed in your mail are actual SAP training courses offered by SAP education. You should be able to find them in the local training catalogue in your country. The SMI210/SMI310 have been offered for several years and only have been updated to ASAP 7 level. The new course ASA380 has been rolled out last year as part of introducing the ASAP 7 to the market. It is ASAP in detail course walking throuhg all the phases of ASAP and focusing on specific deliverables of each work stream in the methodology. The remaining courses are standard SAP training courses that are recommended as preparation for exam (e.g. OCM, E2E, BPM).
