Developer update for Bridge Developers

Hello all,
If you are creating plug-ins for the Creative Suite of Adobe applications, you'll want to attend this ninety minute session for an update on developing plug-ins for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Version Cue, and XMP.
Topics include the C and C++ APIs, Extendscript and other developer details. Dan Brotsky, Chief Architect for the Creative Suite, will discuss highlights of the Version Cue SDK, and the Creative Suite Activation Software. This presentation is not for the technically faint of heart expect high technology at high speed!
This session will be recorded for later review, and a summary document made available for reference.

Bridge does not "support" camera models. Only ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) does.
The last version of Bridge for CS4 is Bridge 3.0.0.64 and the last version of ACR for Photoshop CS4 is ACR 5.7.
If your camera is not supported by ACR 5.7, you would have to download the free, stand-alone Adobe DNG Converter 6.4 and convert your raw files to DNG raw files with it.
Bridge is just a file browser. It does not open or edit files, it just hands them over to the appropriate editor, whether that be ACR, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat or even MS Word. Bridge depends on ACR to bui8ld the thumbnails and previews for raw files.

I have tried to install at different times over three different days with the same result each time. My version of Bridge now no longer shows DNG files except as an icon. The update is supposed to install Camera Raw version 9.

I had the 204 version of your error using the direct download links proved on this thread solved my problem.. hope you have same success... had to log off/in cloud manager before it showed all apps updated

Since I'm having trouble with my new cs5 suite I was wondering if there were updates for bridge from my old cs4. I need an update to support a new camera.

We need our developers(more than 2) to use the same ''SharePoint 2013 development server' for different application developments. Their work should not affect each others(like application pool reset etc.). How this can be achieved ?

Please check the following similar post suggested that each developer could deploy his dll file to each separated web application bin folder by setting Visual Studio property "Assembly Deployment Target" to "Web Application".

Air 1.5.2 update for Flash Developers

I see Air 1.5.2 update for Flex SDK. I was using flash extensions to develop my air applications... How do I go about upgrading??? I went to the Air site I couldnot find a link to how.

I am not aware there is an updater to do this. You might be able to do it manually.

Error Message when downloading updates for Bridge and PS5.....

I recently started using a new Nikon D7100. The photos are not registering on Bridge or PS5 on my Macbook Pro. Accordingly, I tried several times to download and install the updates for Camera Raw, etc. Unfortunately, I keep getting a message that says "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.". Any words of wisdom? Thanks for your help!

Thanks a lot Ned! I really appreciate your help! I did try this direct update and I was able to get 3 of the 4 updates to install. Unfortunately the Camera Raw 6.7 update that I really need didn't work. I was able to download it, but it did not install. The message I am getting is "Installation failed", with no other details. Any thoughts?

I have spent some time geting Java automation to work with InDesign, it's not my favorite language but I learned some things that may help and put them into some course content that Adobe should put out shortly; will post here when it is available online.
Our company, Silicon Publishing, provides general InDesign Server automation training, though we don't have a current offering that specifically targets Java we teach some of the basics of working with Java (many unique techniques!) and could arrange a limited form of training.
The documentation and samples with the SDK should take you part of the way there: for specific scripts, it has been helpful to us to get things working in an easier-to-write (i.e. JavaScript) script first, then translate such a script to Java, taking into account the unique characteristics of the language and various tactics (outlined in the SDK documentation) to address these.

How can I get a one day development session for experienced developers in Malaysia?

I have a team of experienced and capable developers in Malaysia. We have just launched a new product and the guys put in a huge effort to get us there.
But our product does on work on ipads or iphones because it is largely in Silverlight. So we might build a separate application soon for mobile and apple based devices.
I would like to reward the guys with a day (or maybe two) where they can learn to program for ipads. I would like a hands on lab from and experienced developer rather than a basic training course. I would like the guys to get their hands dirty and play with the technology even if all we get from the day is fun, experimentation and hopefully a taste of a new capability that we could develop.
I also have usability guys so it would be ideal if we could have a day for them too, but my primary aim is to let the developers tackle something new with no critical deadline or strictly contained business requirements.
What should I do? Is there a guru developer who could spend a day with the team?

Bridge CS4's Output update for Mac - can't download, Help anyone?

I am trying to download the Output Update for Bridge CS4, which I have been using for some years. When I try to open the dmg file I get a 'can't install/quit' message. I have checked system requirements, space etc and cannot figure out tghe problem. Can anyone advise?

Last resort is a complete uninstall/reinstall--remove preferences if asked.
Use the Cleaner Tool to be sure.

How can I get Adobe Media Gallery for Bridge CS3

I want to create an online photo gallery for 3rd party client proofing. I am using a reference book byScott Kelby (the editor of 'Photshop User' magazine) and he refers to Adobe Media Gallery: ( Bridge CS3 / Windows / Workspace / Adobe Media Gallery).
He states that although AMG wasn't initially shipped with CS3, Adobe released a free update for bridge and once installed it is possible to download AMG from labs.adobe.com.
I am unable to find any reference to AMG or any download/upgrades

You can download the Adobe Reader 10.0.0 installer .EXE file from here:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.0.0/en_US/AdbeRdr1000_en_US.exe
Once you've downloaded it, you can burn it to a disc or copy it to a thumbdrive to bring to the PC that's offline.

ACR 7.4 update for CS6

Updater mechanism (CS6) is not seeing the available ACR 7.4 update. Any recommendations for access to the update? Running Mac OS X 10.8.3. Upon upgragding to CS6, Adobe Application Manager stopped finding available updates. I have had to manually update Photoshop/Bridge ever since the CS6 upgrade. "All applications are up-to-date" has been the only message received when searching for updates.

Ran the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool.
Reinstalled Photoshop CS6 from the "Your Downloads" page.
Opened CS6 13.0. Checked for updates. Application Manager found updates for Bridge, Ext. Mgr., Photoshop and Camera Raw.
The updates could not be applied. Per the error log...Error Code: U43M1D207 for the following...

Dynamic Link Media Server CS6 1.0.1 Update

Bridge CS6 5.0.2 Update
I ran the update mechanism a second time...received the message "Your applications are all up-to-date."

I have been away from my computer for a year & wanted to update to 1.04 but it says you must have version 1.03 to update to 1.04. It still keeps saying the same after downloading 1.03. Where am I going wrong ?

You must have been away a little longer I presume?
The update for Bridge 1.03 has been released in the end of 2005...

It might not work for you because many links are country specific. In that
case use a search engine ( I used Google with: update for Adobe bridge 1 )
and inhere you will find the access to the 1.0.3 update.

Developers cannot enable Developer Mode in the Settings app for installing and testing apps on this build. We’ll enable this in an upcoming build. In the meantime, you will need
enable your device for development using the Group Policy Editor
