[DIADEM] Afficher Date et Heure en abscisse d'une waveform

Je souhaite enregistrer des signaux dans des fichiers TDMS sous forme de waveforms et pouvoir les afficher dans un graphe dans l'onglet VIEW avec les valeurs d'abscisse affichées sous forme de date et heure (enfin, seulement l'heure dans mon cas).
J'enregistre l'horodatage de départ dans la propriété wf_start_time et j'ai essayé de jouer sur la propriété wf_time_pref mais ça ne change rien, j'ai toujours les abscisses affichées en secondes à partir de 0.
Est-ce que quelqu'un connait la solution ?
Je suis bien tombé sur cet article, mais je n'ai pas, mais alors pas du tout envie de générer une channel contenant les valeurs de temps, ça annulerait complètement l'intéret des waveforms, et je me dis que peut etre depuis mars 2007 il existe une autre solution ?

Bonjour à tous, et bien entendu merci de votre aide.
Je vous explique ma problématique, un peu tordu je dois l'avouer.
Voilà, je voudrais qu'une partie de mon programme s'exécute le 15 du mois en cours à 23h59 et le 28 ou 30 ou 31 (selon le mois) à la même heure 23h59.
A chaque fois que l'on atteint le mileu ou la fin du mois, le programme doit exécuter une fois la séquence.
Mon problème c'est que je ne vois pas comment faire pour que l'execution ne se fasse qu'une seule fois lorsque l'on atteint cette date. (VI principale qui tourne en boucle)

Je te propose de télécharger le vi et de lire les instructions.
Quelques détails:
- je n'ai pas fait de Def de Type pour l'Enum pour ne pas avoir à partager plus de fichier dans le post mais il vaut mieux en faire une.
- j'ai fais un bon d'exemple pour une date, pour plusieurs, vous pourrez partir sur un tableau et avancé au fur et à mesure dans l'indexation.

I have performed data acquisition on a computer with lower specs than the one you described, at rates greater than 1 kHz. I don't quite understand the "waveform chart support" portion of your question, but if you are asking if it is possible to plot the acquired data on a Waveform Chart in LabVIEW, this should not be a problem.
If you have more specific questions, let me know.

Comment retrouver sur Mac la date de prise de vue d'une photo modifiée par Lightroom

Lue sur une carte et stockée dans un fichier sur le Finder, une photo possède une date de prise de vue. Dès qu'elle est modifiée par Lightroom et exportée, la date de prise de vue est modifiée et devient la date de l'export de la photo.
Ce problème est celui de l'interface Lightroom - Mac.
Je ne dois pas être la seule à avoir ce problème.

Afficher date heure graphe excel

Bonjour,
Je suis débutante en labview et j'aimerais exporter mon graphe sur excel. J'ai essayé plusieurs solutions dont ms report office, easy graph de report tolkit generation mais à chaque fois je n'obtiens plus la date et l'heure comme je l'affiche sur mon graphe en labview. Pourriez-vous m'indiquez d'autres pistes?
PS:En pièce-jointe le graphe que j'obtiens sur labview et que je souhaiterais exporter sur excel.

Pivoting date data in Diadem - summarising data by grouping

Hi,
Is there a way to summarise date data in Diadem?
For example, if I have a file with the following headings:
Date/time, on/off, duration
The Date/time column is recordrded in date, hours and seconds,
the on/off is either 1 or 0
duration is the difference in time values when on/off is 1.
Is there a way to summarise the date data by day or possibly by month? (The corresponding numbers in 'duration' would need to be assigned to the appropriate day or month)?
The equivalent calculation tool would be a pivot table in Excel.

Thank you for your prompt response.
I have attached a file in the code section with some data. (Apologies for this, but the NI website said the content did not match the filetype). (I will try and get this right and send the attachement as an excel file. DIADEM should be able to read in the text file).
The columns are as follows: Event, Date,Time,Duration On,State.
(please note 1) that in the 'event' column there are 5 boilers - good for pivoting once grouped per boiler,
2) that 'State' is either a save or a bypass - also good for pivoting i.e. which days and boilers were in bypass, and which days and boilers were in save)
I would like to be able to summarise the data as follows:
Show a period(group by month or year) the sum of the Duration On, then display the result on a monthly histogram showing for example daily Duration On vs date.
Then
on an annual histogram showing for example monthly Duration On vs month.
As the last part of the exercise, how can I break out doing the 2 steps about for each of the 5 seperate boilers and show when each of the boilers were in a save or a bypass?
(Is a pivot table in excel required or can all the data processing be done in DIADEM?)
I appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

As far as I understood this example uses "t0" from the waveform data for x axis. I tried this method and it works. The date and time shows correctly. That's great.
But I actually have another request for the chart display, that is to show data in a certain time period, which should be programmable. For example I could let the chart show the data waveform in 10 seconds this time(I mean in one screen without scrollbar), and the next time I execute it, I change the parameter and show the data waveform in 60 seconds.
I tried to modify the initialization like that:
I thought by changing the maximum value of the scale range, I could realize that. This kind of setting didn't really work. before the breakpoint, the time in x axis became chaos again, and after going into the loop it returns to correct value.
Do you have any ideas how to realize that?

Data Compression express VI chops off last waveform element

While using the data compression express vi, I noticed the vi truncates the array of waveforms by removing the last element.
When I log this to an excel file, it puts a blank row into it. I ran this VI twice which appended two runs in teh same log file to show it.
What is an easy way to delete this last element out of the signal array?
See the graphs last sample on the x axis of the vi I attached. Element at x=1.0 has been deleted on the graph thus resulting in a blank row in my excel file.

I think this happens because it is using the data that comes after the point to average that point, though I am uncertain. I will have to look into it further.

Acquire sound data time does not match with the waveform graph

i am doing a basic data logging system to see the frequency behavior of sound. What I did is to use the "acquire sound" system of Labview and connect a waveform graph to see the time-domain behavior of sound.
However, if I input a duration of 4 seconds (or any time), I will only see 75% of the sound (that is 3 seconds). I tried to extract the values using write to file to see if the waveform graph is the one who have the delay. however, the data also showed me 3seconds.
I will attach here the picture of the simple program i created.
I hope someone can explain to me why this happen.
I am using the soundcard and microphone of a laptop. I also tried using a computer microphone. I have tried this program to all computers I can use (2 laptops: SAMSUNG, ASUS, and one desktop computer core i5)

have you find a fix for this issue? Im facing the same situation, using Complex type, and String data type both in the service and Bi publisher. We are consuming CC&B services, and we have noticed this error appears when BIPublisher is running on WebLogic (10.3) but it does not appear when BIPublisher is running on OC4J , of course running the same report on both application servers.
Any idea?

Je souhaiterais afficher l'heure et la date du système abscisse d'un graphe xy. Ce graphe affiche 6 courbes différentes en temps réel. J'ai essayé l'option "Temps abolu" et "Temps relatif" dans Format d'affichage mais c'est pas cela que je souhaite. J'ai aussi essayé ce que l'on a proposé à une autre personne sur le forum à l'adresse suivante :

comme la dernière fois, c'est exactement ce que je souhaitais, et qui plus est, cela fonctionne parfaitement. Par contre, à la sortie de mon registre à décalage, j'ajoute les différentes valeurs à un tableau que j'enregistre par la suite sur un fichier texte, comment je pourrais faire pour que ce soit la date et l'heure qui s'enregistre dans mon fichier et non pas le nombre de secondes qui s'est écoulé depuis le 1 Janvier 1904?
Je te joins un imprime écran de mon VI pour que tu y vois plus clair.

Deactivate the automatic interpolation of data in DIAdem

Nous sommes intéressés à désactiver l'interpolation que DIAdem fait automatiquement des données manquantes d'une base de données MySQL. En fait nous voudrions fixer une valeur de plage manquante à partir de laquelle l'interpolation des données ne se ferait plus. Par exemple: si les données sont absentes sur moins de 30 minutes, interpoler, si les données sont absentes sur plus de 30 minutes, ne pas interpoler. Est-ce possible de donner ce paramètre à DIAdem? Let me repeat back to you in English what I think you're asking and then give you a few thoughts-- unfortunately my ability to write French is even worse than my ability to read it. It sounds like you want to apply interpolation to your aquired data only when the region of missing data is within a certain minimum amount, but if you have data missing for much longer intervals (say, between tests run in different months) you do not want any interpolation. This sounds reasonable enough. You also mention that you are storing the data in a MySQL data base, so I'm surprised that you can not query out only the data you want (which presumably all falls into the category of needing interpolation).
I'm also unclear what you mean by interpolation. Normally I would understand that to mean imposing an expected timebase on data that was acquired at larger time intervals or at irregular time intervals, wherby you determine the interpolated Y values based on weighted linear extrapolation from the closest adjacent acquired values. But DIAdem does not do this automatically, as you seem to suggest. What DIAdem does do is plot all isolated XY cartesian pairs on a VIEW or REPORT graph, but here DIAdem just connects each individual graphed data point to the next data point with a straight line-- the intervening values are neither calculated nor regular. Still, if this is what you mean, then there are two easy solutions. First, you can insert a NoValue after the end of the values from the first data set and before the values of the second data set-- graphs in VIEW and REPORT will not plot a line to a NoValue. Alternatively, you could change your SQL query to only read into DIAdem the data from one measurement at a time.

DIADEM is not reading data into channels

I am trying to read a tdms file into DIadem through data Navigation.This conatins 12 columns of data.But when it is loaded it creates large number of channels with lengths (arb~200).I tried to create the data pluggin but the small windows are showing unidetified symbols.Is this due to any setting is not set properly

I assume that the file contains a lot more columns/channels than you thought.
This might habben because you created a new groups every time you wrote a new chunk
instead of appending to an existing one
group1.mychannel
group2.mychannel
will result in two channels.
Could you make sure your write code does append instead of create.
