Hi,
When you say adjustment how did you pass the adjustment ? what transaction code was used? normally to post a payment without printing check you can use F-53 and that should not print any checks.
Thanks and Regards

  • Temporarily disable Digital Signature Checks to Install MS SQL Server 2008 with no Internet Access

I am attempting to install a licensed copy of MS SQL Server 2008 in a Private Enclave that does NOT have Internet access on a Win2008 R2 SP1 server (that is VM - thus I can't reboot and press F8 to select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
). The installation fails with an error of the vc_red.cab file being found either corrupt or a bad digital signature.  The file is good, but the signature has an expiration of 2011.   I understand that a DOTNET SDK v1.1 program called setreg.exe
will enable disabling the digital signature check, but I am not permitted to use that program.
I might be permitted to use the "Signtool.exe" utility, but it is not clear what command sequences are necessary to disable and then re-enable the Digital Signature checks.
I saw a thread that recommended using the command:
    bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON
However, the comments indicated that this might not have worked.
Are there Registry settings I can use with regedit to make the necessary changes to be able to install the application?  I anticipate running into this problem with other software when I do not have Internet connectivity.   I already tried
downloading the Microsoft CRL files; updated the lists on the Server; and rebooted.  This did not solve my problem.

    Hi,
As far as I know, it is not recommended to disable digital signature check.
Since we are not familair with installing MS SQL server, please also refer to SQL forums below to see if experts there have more insights regarding the matter.

  • Electronic Signature Check Printing Products

Hello. Does anyone know of any viable third-party electronic signature check printing products/companies that can be used alongside E-Business Suite (or as a stand-a-lone system)? Our Payables checks right now are manually stamped with 2 signatures and I'm looking for a more automated system. I would like to find out if there is a electronic signature stamping product that we can feed our Payables checks thru either during the payment process in Payables or after the checks are printed out of E-Business Suite. We will only have about 90% of the checks stamped though, the remaining 10% will be manually signed due to our procedures. I'm having trouble finding products that will electronically stamp the checks with 2 signatures.
    Thank you.

  • Digital signature on LMS - issue with R/3 password

    Hi,
We have enabled the Digital Signature (FDA check) for Follow-up against WBT course delivery method. Once I click on 'Confirm Participation' link, I get a popup to provide username and password. I believe this popup checks for SAP (R/3) UserID and password. The problem is, Learning portal (HCM_LEARNING) is linked within SAP Enterprise portal and most of our users don't have backend access and no password. They only know thier portal username and password.
So definitely, when I put my portal login details into the Popup, it will error as the password is different to the ECC System.
Is there any work around solution for this issue? Has anyone been able to resolve the issue around password?
Would really appreciate if you could share the solution with us.
    Best,
    Jaya

    Hi
You need to Trigger an Outbound Message for generating the IDoc.
Using the process code, the IDoc interface finds the application selection module which converts the SAP document into an IDoc.
The process code is only used with applications which perform outbound processing via Message Control (NAST).
    goto Transaction NACE ,
Select the Application ME - Inventory mangament.
Clcik on Output types , Copy the Out Put type WA03 & create anew Out put type.
Selec the Output type & Click on Processing routines
Maintain the medium  6 - EDI , there is no standard print program for EDI So you need to create your own Program & form Routine
Check this form routine EDI_PROCESSING in program RSNASTED for having an idea.
After maintaining all the relevant EDI Paramters.
Maintain the message condition record using MN21 for the new out put type.
When you create a Goods issue the Message will be triggereed & Idoc will be trigerred , you can then transfer this into XI.
    Thanks & Regards

  • AP - F110 - SAPFPAYM - Adobe Checks - Printing Issue

We have ECC 6.0, and we recently started using Payment medium workbench to print adobe check forms.  All configuration and programming is done, except that we encounter an issue once in a while.
Using F110, we will complete a proposal, review it and then execute the payment medium run.  Out of 60 or so check runs, we will have a batch that does not print the last few checks out.
For example, in one instance, out of 100-200 checks, the last 4-6 did not print.  All tables (PAYR, etc.) and vendor were updated with a payment document and check number, and the spool does show an adobe image available for those particular items.
The most recent occurrence involved 587 checks, where the last 54 did not print.  They are visible on the spool.
The logs of the payment run do not show any error messages or warnings.  We verified with our Basis team that there are no messages or logs associated with the actual printers, and yet, they just do not print!
I have searched notes, forums and boards trying to find anyone with a similar issue but no luck thus far.
I have created the issue in Qas as well, by using the same steps to create 588 checks via F110, but only 27 print out?  I tried the "Reprint" option on the F110 screen, and the same 27 checks print out.  (Its the first 27 of the spool that print each time.)
Again, the spool shows all 588 checks with images and all data/tables are updated appropriately.
In OBPM4, we have the box for "Payment Document Validation" checked, and the correct printers assigned.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what might trigger this?
Where else should we be looking to find some type of status or error message?
Would it be helpful to run through the process with some type of trace running in the background?

    Thank you for your response.
I wondered about a printer memory issue as well...however, I am not sure how much space an adobe check might take up versus the SapScript check form we used before.
Any suggestions on how to go about verifying this theory?  (Basis should monitor from their side when I start the print program?)  (Is there a report or status I can physically check or create from the printer itself?)

  • Regarding new bank to be created for new office ...check printing issue...

    dear all..
i need to create bank for our new office say BARODA office for check printing purpose.
our comp. has allready configured for mumbai and main office bank...
but i dont know the full cycle.. can anybody tell me the process to implement the same ?

    Thanks Sandra for your response.
From the PCL Font list it says
    USB Resident storage fonts
    Font = H E-13B-600
    Pitch/Point = 8.00/8.4
    Esc sequence = <esc>(0Q<esc>(s0p8.00h8.4v0sb0T
    Font = USB1  1
    Font id = blank
I am only using Print control = SF450 as the SAPSCRIPT is copied form an existing one, but event he SAP standard text will not print (vanilla) SAPSCRIPT-MICRTEST or SAPSCRIPT_MICRTEST the correct fonts.
Do you think font pitch may be the issue, we are planning to change this tomorrow to 10.
Does the escape sequence need to be added as a new print control to the Device type in SPAD or does SF450 HPLJMI still work?
One other thing from note 94233 I checked the RAW spool file and it does contain

  • Validate Digital Signature - Check CRL

    Hi all,
    (1) Is it possible for LiveCycle Document Security to validate the digital signature and check CRL, if there is NO CRL Distribution Point in the certificate itself?
    (2) Can I hardcode the CRL's URL in the LiveCycle Document Security's configuration file?
    Thanks.
    Sanney

    Sanney,
I don't know about the CRL URL question, but if I understood correctly what you are trying to achieve, then:
If you already have CRLs or certificate files at your disposal, you can store them in disk. You can then select "advanced" option when installing. This will allow you to point at the directories containing the credentials , so these can be included as an integral part of the overall server deployment.
If later on you want to update the credentials, you can run Configuration Manager. You must then rededploy the updated server components to the application server.
I'm currently writing this out of memory, but the documentation is very clear about this procedure.

  • Digital Signature Checking

    Hi,
I have a large number of PDF files signed with a digital signature.
I would like to extract from each file the certificate and call OpenSSL to check the validity of this certificate.
Does anybody knows a way to extract the certificate without opening the file?
Does anyone used the app 'Document Security Livecycle' for this purpose?
    Thanks for your inputs!

The Document Security product has APIs to validate signatures on PDFs.

  • Digital Signatures causing performance issue

I have created a form for a two-step process in which the first user will open, enter data, and submit the form for another user to approve.  The problem is that during the approver phase, they will digitally sign the form (there are two digital signature fields for each section of the form, the approver is required to sign at least once in order to submit) and then submit, but the process seems to lag for about 20-30 seconds after they click submit.
I understand that the digital signatures may add to the size of the form overall, but is one or two signatures enough to cause a delay?
I have some javascript that I fire at the pre-submit event using AWS_Action to see what the user action is and if the user selects to submit then it will test to see if at least one signature field is signed and valid, if so then changes the signature field type to disabled (I have the signature fields become required type based on certain fields containg data) and submits the form.  Is it possible that this script could cause such a delay after the submit?  We aren't having any delays when the first user submits the form without digital signatures so I assume this is what is causing the problem.

I expect that the lag may be related to the script you are executing, rather that specifically by the digital signature itself.  Are you able to test the form outside of the process to see if the lag remains?  Could you change the submit button to a mailto: uri and see how long it takes for the "pre-submit" code to execute?
    Regards
    Steve

  • Forms, digital signatures, cross platform issues

I am trying to implement pdf forms in an educational environment to utilize digital signatures and reduce paper. The form data does not need to go anywhere. It just stays in the form at this point. Some people on campus have Windows machines, others have Macs. All the Windows machines have Acrobat Pro installed and not Reader. The Mac people are more likely to have Reader. There have been problems with emailing these forms between platforms. Does anyone have any ideas about how to solve this? My IT department will not support Reader on Windows machines, so the forms have to work in Acrobat and Reader! How should the orginal document I put online be saved to work in both programs and platforms? What direction should I give the users about how to save the forms they fill out and sign? I've looked all over for this kind of info, but can't seem to find it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. FYI, I am not an IT person. Thanks!!!

For Mac users, it will be important that they don't use the Preview application to work with the forms. Preview is the default Mac PDF viewer out of the box, and it corrupts PDF forms when it saves them, so it really needs to be avoided.
In order for Reader to save a filled-in form and apply digital signatures, the forms need to be Reader-enabled, which can be done with Acrobat Pro. Acrobat Standard can Reader-enable documents too, but it doesn't apply the digital signature usage right.
The problem with this is if you will be getting the forms returned to you, you can only use data from no more than 500 instances for the form, including hardcopies. This is an Acrobat License Agreement restriction. If they won't be returned, there won't be a problem. Also, the Acrobat users don't need to use a Reader-enabled version, so you can collect all the forms you want from them.
Email will be most reliable if the user manually attaches the file to an email, as opposed to setting up a button on the forms to submit to an email address. You'll find many threads here discussing the emailing difficulties with forms that are set up this way. The problems can be minimized with user education, as the manual process is available in either case. A submit button provides convenience, unless it doesn't work, and it won't for some users.

  • AP Check printing issue- amount distorted

    Hi,
When I am printing or creating a check for a Vendor other than US , the amount on the check gets distorted. For e.g I  clear an invoice ( doc curr - USD, local curr - USD ) but for a vendor whose country in IL ( israel) , the amount changes the format on the check, but when i change the same vendor's country to US in the master data , the amount shows fine . So I know it's an issue with country and not the check form .
Kindly let me know how can i fix this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

check whether you have mainatianed the necessary config for the country and currencies in your spronetweaver>general settings & currencies.

  • Check printing issue when vendor in Arabic and other in english are used

We are facing a scenario in which when we try to print two checks (one in arabic and the other in english)  , the amount in words for english is creating alignment issue . Like 54647.08 in words would be fifty four thousand six hundred fourty seven  and  eight / hundred of the currency . But it is getting displayed as  'and  eight / hundred of the currency fifty four thousand six hundred fourty seven .This issue is coming only when the english check comes after arabic one and not vice-versa and also when  the amount in words is bigger (not in case of amounts like 70000 )

    Hi
Try to use CALL FUNCTION 'SPELL_AMOUNT'  Currecny Key = "USD"  irrespective of the  currency  and then based on the country key or langauge  Concatenate the Currency to the SPELL AMOUNT..

  • Digital Signature Data File Issue

    Hello all,
I am something of a network administrator / supervisor (by position not education so some of the technical aspects of my shop still alude me). Right now I am having an issue with digitally signing PDF files; previously when I signed the files the size would remain approximately the same (moving perhaps from 200 KB to 300 KB, however when I sign files now the size jumps to almost 7000 KB. Previously I had received a message when signing that indicated I could change a setting to add an extra layer of protection and my hypothesis is that this may be the cause, but I am not 100% sure of that.
Has anyone experienced this problem before, or have any possible solutions? My guess is that there is an option where Adobe controls how secure the signature I create has to be and it defaulted to the more secure, much larger file size after I received the initial notification.
Thank you for your guidance and wisdom.
