Disable commit using set_block_property

Is it possible to disable commit, exe. query, ent. query using set_block_property?

Look in the Help for the ***_ALLOWED properties (*** = DELETE, UPDATE, INSERT, QUERY).
You can also re-program the key triggers (key-commit etc.):
begin
   null;
   -- or:
   message('Commit is disabled');
end;

I also had tried other means of getting answers and got an even more specific answer on just how to do this. Below is the link to the actual knowledgebase article giving specific instructions since there are some files that need to be on the Palm and some on the card, etc.

I emailed Zondervan to see if they might be able to direct me to a downloadable manual. The referred me to laridan.com who now supports their software.
I followed the instructions, taking into account some things that were already where they needed to be, hot synced it and it seems to be working fine with 7.8 M free space on my Palm which I trust is enough for my other very large applications.

Is it possilbe to totally disable the use of Microsoft Accounts in Windows 8.x ?

The existence and need of "Microsoft Accounts" in Windows 8.x causes many issues for corporate IT management.
1) To access Windows 8.x Mail App, Calendar App, etc, OneDrive, Skype, to upgrade from Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1, and the Windows Store requires a Microsoft Account.
2) Not all users have or will want to have their own personal Microsoft Account
3) It is possible for the corporate IT department to create Microsoft Accounts for each of the company Users, but it is an extra burden and difficult to manage these accounts.
Potentially the simplest solution is to be able to totally disable the use of Microsoft Accounts in Windows 8.x, is this possible?

You have the choice of uninstalling the metro apps ou use the GPO to block the use of Microsoft account.

Are latest versions of the firefox disabled for using in poor countries?

Is it possible to stop wasting of my money without Firefox deleting? Firefox downloads something (I suspect it's "safebrowsing" base) from Google almost continuously. I keep "browser.safebrowsing.enabled" and "browser.safebrowsing.malware.enabled" always false (about:config shows that, but it's not present in "Troubleshooting Information" below. Why?). I use fresh resetted profile. Whether it means that latest versions of the firefox are disabled for using in the rest of the world, where traffic can costs upto $0.3 per Mbyte?

I have not tried Live Http Headers. I'll try. Nethogs shows that firefox suddenly starts consume all bandwidth long time and Wireshark shows encrypted traffic from google network 195.64.213.0/24.
PS. It's a GGC address.
PPS. After 6 hours of observation I catched next download, but not catch an initial request. The firefox downloaded near 100MB of binary stuff from 173.194.58.185 (belongs to Google, not has a host name).

Google has disable the use of the api key

I've setup a google static map using the api key v3 in this site www.pequenonim.es.
Problem is Firefox is giving an error message:

Something like Google has disabled the use of the API for this application. The key is not valid or is not authorized for version 3 of the api of javascript in this site.
Measurements already taken:
API v3 and API v2 enable on api code panel
Reset firefox
Clean cookies and cache of firefox.
Map actually works on Chrome and IE10.

Is it the map on the bottom of the main page? It works for me in Firefox 24 on Windows 7 from California.
You may want to look at the code in Firefox's source viewer, starting a few lines below id="bottom2", as there are some stray <html>, <head>, and <body> tags that suggest a template or plugin isn't fully compatible with your page.

Native IO Disabled when using node manager to start managed server

I am able to start my node manager and the managed server from the Admin Console. OS is AIX, WebLogic 9.2 MP3. The managed server starts OK, but Native IO is disabled even though it is enabled in the Admin Console for that manager server:

I set NativeVersionEnabled to False in nodemanager.properties as specified in the BEA documentation, but can get Native IO to work. The log file clearly indicates that the JDK version is 32-bit:

Any ideas how to fix this or is this working as designed for AIX platforms?

W520: want to disable the use of cd drive

System: W7 (professional)
I did not know what happened, but the cd drive keeps powering on and beeping. Whenever the cd drive powers on and beeps, the cursor freezes on the monitor for a few seconds, and I can do nothing for a few seconds. This really drives me crazy. Orginally, the cd drive is set to power off (with a little red circle and a line across the circle symbol), and everything goes fine.
I would like to disable the use of cd drive, and do not want the freezing thing and beep to happen. Thank you very much.

Do you have some application that tries to access the optical drive from time to time? Maybe something recently installed or activated?
It could be something really unexpected - like the windows slideshow gadget. I had a similar issue with a HDD set to spin down. Finally realized that the slideshow was accessing imaged on the HDD occasionally.

Fpga disabled code using space on a FPGA

I have a endable/disable diagram for emulation a FIFO during emulation mode. see atached picture.
Does the disabled code use space on an FPGA ( I have not enough space on my 3Mgate FPGA for my program)
I ask this because in some other part of the labview code I had compiling error (in VHDL code) in disabbled laview code.
So it looks like if the disabled code takes space on the FPGA, is this the case?

The code in disable structure doesn't take space on the FPGA, I use it often and it works.
But in your case, i guess you should disable the for loop too. Because you have an empty loop that have an auto-index activated, and since this part is not disabled, it takes space on your FPGA.

Disabling messageinputtext using personalization/extension

I have one requirement to disable textbox using personalization .
I can use SPEL perfectly fine to make it readonly .But that will turn it into mesasagestyled text .I want to keep it as messagetextinput and want to disable it .I can do it by changing disable property in .xml file.
But I want to achieve the same using personalization.I am not able to find disabled/enabled property in personalization page.I can find read only and other properties in personalization page
Also let me know if i can disable image too?

2) Put SPEL for Rendered property of the existing image item and newly created image item(using personalization)

I have a requirement to disable the complete quotation transaction except for the status field depending upon a condition. I am trying to do this by creating an implementation of the BAdI CRM_ORDER_FIELDCHECK.But I am unable to achieve it through its implementation. The header fields are disabled but the data in the other assignment blocks can be modified.
I tried using the standard code by changing the condition, but that also does not help.
Please note: The complete transaction is disabled on GUI but not on Web UI. I also found an SAP Note which might help for the Parties Involved assignment block but not for others.
Note 1539285 - UIU:Partner fieldcheck doesnot impact Partner AB processing
Any pointers would be highly appreciated.
