Disable Export data button web ADI

Dears,
can any one tell me how can i disable the export data button the one avalibe when you access HRMS manager->people->enter and maintain. avalibe on the menu.
thanks
fadi

The browser pretty much takes care of that. However it you generate the data file on request use a Servlet and set the mime type, character encoding (if text) and add a "Content-disposition" header, which from memory, would be something like like:
response.addHeader("Content-disposition" "Attachment; file=data.txt");Unfortunately Internet Explorer can be a bit dumb, and sometimes ignores this stuff in favour of looking for an extension on the end of the URL (before any ? string).

  • Unable to export data from Web Access Data Sheet in Sharepoint to local excel or access file

    Greetings and good morning.
I'm going to start off in broad terms with this question because I'm not 100 percent sure what information to provide.
Long story short, we've got a Web Access Data Sheet list hosted in a Sharepoint 2010 environment. It is accessed and used by multiple people throughout the day. It contains several thousand line item entries. I'd call it a large data sheet.
I think the size of the data sheet is casuign some instability in the list. I'd like to be able to export a defined range of data from the list into a local excel or access file. After that, I'd delete the stuff on the Access list to improve performance.
But...when I attempt to use the Sharepoint Action bar to export - Excel locks up/crashes. If I try to export to Access, I get a similar issue.
Any ideas? Could anyone begin by telling me what other information is required?

    Hi,
If you would like to export data from Access Web Database in SharePoint 2010, you could go to Design With Access page in Settings. The url in my environment is http://sp/tt/_layouts/accsrv/ModifyApplication.aspx . Then choose the Table and export it to Excel
    or Modify it in Access.

  • Load data thru WEB ADI (Accounted Transactions)

When I do transaction Import (for Accounted Transactions - Web ADI) in the Review Transactions window (Transaction Import) I am getting the following error:
Rejection Reason is -- Supplier Invoices transaction source must be GL accounted
Can any one help me regarding this .
    Waiting for the Reply .

    Hello
Accounted transactions are records that are already sent to GL or would be send to GL by other means, and you want to see them in Projects, but you don't want Projects to account for them again, not to interface them to GL. In such case your transactions should be loaded with all required values for PA to create the CDL. That means you need to load cost, and accounts. If you use multiple currencies, you need to supply all amounts in the other currencies, and the exchange rates attributes as well. The Transaction source should be flagged as costed, burdened (if implementation include burdening), and accounted.
Non Accounted transactions could be costed or not. If you are going to load only quantities and expect Oracle Projects to calculate the amount, then you should not populate the raw cost, nor the GL accounts, and nor PA and GL dates. The transaction source should not be flagged as costed or accounted. If you are going to load quantities and amounts, then your transactions are considered costed. In such case Projects will only account for the EI, but will not calculate the amount. The transaction source in that case, should be flagged as costed, but not accounted.

  • Disable Export PDF button inside CS Review for the reviewers

    Hi all
Times ago I used CS Review to share some specific projects to a group of reviewers. Found CS Review very safety because these reviewers could see the pages, post comments and just it.
Now I´m using again the CS Review to share a new set of projects to a group of reviewers and have perceived the reviewers are able to EXPORT PDF from the content.
Is there any way to disable the Export to PDF button so reviewers can acess....read the informations..post comments..but do not do anything more..do not download it ? (only see online)
    Thank you a lot
    Gustavo.

Hi Katharine and Ken how have you been?
Long times we do not chat. I remember the times of CS Review Pre-tests
    Ken thank you a lot
Well...Seems I do not have or I´m not able to find this Review Setting option inside my acrobat.com.
    >>>Reviewers will not be able to export, only Coauthors and the original Author.
This is the best !!! and very suitable for me.
Could you help me to find this option to disable?
    Thank you a lot

  • Processing exported data from web application

    Hi all,
here's my problem: I've got a Web Application designed in WAD and want to get the current navigation state (which is in the data provider) into an external application (i.e. a web service). What I already tried was to export the navigation state via SAP_BW_URL COMMAND='EXPORT' FORMAT='XML' and redireted it to a web service. But I wasn't able to get the XML document, I only got a XML_ID (as you can see in forum thread Accessing XML File).
Has anyone another approach to get the data exported and ready to be processed by a custom web service or external application (ABAP FM,..)?
Thanks in advance and best regards!
    Dominik

    Dear Dominik,
maybe is XMLA for Analysis in BW a solution for you:
    try this links
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ba/e380e03c3a4dbf8cf082f0c910f9cf/frameset.htm
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d8/3bfc3f8fc2c542e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
This a SOAP Web Service which gives back query content, the query is defined within MDX Statement in a XML file.
There also exists a detailed How To Document in SAP Service Marketplace - but unfortunately i can´t found it.

  • Mail-merging from Oracle HRMS - Web ADI vs BI Publisher

    Hi
I'm currently involved in a project to automate the production of candidate offer letters and contracts from HRMS for our shared HR service centre. The solution I've built to date uses custom database tables and PL/SQL to select the relevant text for the candidate based on a set of criteria, and views to supply the necessary data to Web ADI which then performs the actual merge into a template Microsoft Word document on demand from the end-user.
The issue we're facing is that the Web ADI to Word interface can't handle more than 64 merge fields (Word basically throws up an error saying the maximum number of fields has been exceeded) so I'm looking at alternatives which will still provide the same (or nearly the same) functionality in terms of mail-merging. From the looks of things it seems like BI Publisher could be a potential alternative; I do however have a few questions which I hope someone can answer!
    1) How easily can BI Publisher be integrated with HRMS to provide such mail-merge functionality on demand? How would such integration be achieved e.g. concurrent program, button on the toolbar in HRMS?
    2) How many merge fields can BI Publisher handle? Our largest letter has nearly 100 unique fields, a number which could go up or down over time.
    3) I understand from looking at some of the tutorials and demos that an RTF template could be used as the basis for the mail merge - where would this be stored, on the database or the file system?
    4) Are there any case studies out there which cover such an implementation of BI Publisher? This would be really useful as it would help in formulating a recommendation to my project manager!
    Many thanks

Well, glad you got soemthing. Now I try to be more "properly" for you :)
    Good that you are trying.
The LDAP users do not show up in my Web Logic console. Is a functionality available to allocate the LDAP users to Oracle user groups in web logic or do I expect too much?LDAP = what in your case, do you mean Active Directory .? or any other LDAP directory .?
You need to configure that in weblogic as one of the authentication providers if you have not done so yet, otherwise they cannot magically appear in WLS console.
So I am assuming you are expecting too much if you have not configured and trying to look for LDAP users. Let us know if you have already configured one but having trouble managing these users.
If the functionality (allocating LDAP users to groups) exists in the oracle web logic console,Even though you configure LDAP users in WLS , you cannot assign LDAP users to LDAP groups in WLS since you have to do that in your LDAP not in WLS.
why does this functionality also in the Oracle BI Publisher Admin screen?Oracle BI Publisher security is managed by Fusion middleware security model not Weblogic , so to get the LDAP users to BIP you need to integrate OBIEE security to BI Publisher.
Hope this helps. ! Mark if it does.
    Thanks,

  • How to enter values in Descriptive flexfield by WEB ADI

    Hi All,
I am using GL-Journals as an integrator for uploading data using WEB ADI. I have DFF at Journal lines. There is Context Field value and also 3 lines(Attributes). I can enter the data by clicking the Line DFF Context and Line DFF manually. The entered values are shown as concatenated values in this cell. But the data is in different columns in excel file. I want to map the data from excel(which is in different cells) to this one column in the WEB ADI template.
Does any one know how to map this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Pramod.

    Hi All,
After couple of investigations, I understood that it is not possible to map and upload DFF Values unless you concatenate the data. We all know it used to work in client ADI. I have found these documents 1072689.1 and Bug 8469705.
If someone knows any workaround please let me know.
    Thank you,

  • Mass Additions WEB ADI Issue

    All,
Has anyone come across a need to modify the mass additions upload via web adi, to do validation on asset numbers. We find that if we use web adi to mass additions, the error of duplicate asset numbers is only picked up when we do a post. Our users require that validation, when they do the upload from web adi. As this was a functionality that desktop adi provided.
Any help here would be much appreciated.

    Hi
Can you think about one work around
    1. Import Asset table containing Asset Number before uploading the asset using Web ADI.
    2. Compare the Imported data with Web ADI Template using EXCEL macro check or using a sql script
Have you loged SR & wether Oracle can think of some Validation (as this is the standard functionality) ?

  • Display csv data on web application

    Hi,
I have some csv data that I need to display on my web application to a table.
I have to update this csv every few minutes.
Any ideas on how can I achieve this?
Can someone point me to the right samples.
I know how to export data from web to csv, but I have no clue on how to do the other way around.
    Thanks,

    Thanks for the replies.
I haven't decided on which or how the technology side I will use.
I've been googling with no luck (probably lack of googling skill) :(
I was thinking to create a web application using Spring and JSP, but I don't even know if it's possible.
Which way will be simpler? JSP or servlet?
Sorry, I don't know which forum I should use, since I don't know which technology to use for my solution.
All I know that I need to create an html table to display my csv file and running Web server application such as JBoss.
    Thanks,
