Disable row in selection pop-up in WebClient UI

Hi,
My requirement is to disable (like greying it out) a row for selection/de-selection in a selection pop-up. I checked the collection wrapper class CL_BSP_WD_COLLECTION_WRAPPER but could not find any appropriate method.
Can anyone tell how to do this?
Additional information:
The selection pop-up that I am talking about is the one that appears while creating a follow-up document for e.g while creating a sales order from a quotation. The pop-up shows the line items from the source document and allows the user to select the line items he/she wants to transfer to the target document.

Please check on the following path: SPRO->Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copying Control for Business Transactions->Define Copying Control for Transaction Types.
Which scenario Are you currently using? CRM Order or ERP Order?
If you are using ERP Order scenario, please check class CL_ERP_H_HEADEROVERVIEWPA_IMPL method EH_ONFOLLOWUP_SELECTED. The following code is responsible to bring the popup for item selection during the creation of follow-up documents:
create_follow_up_erp_item_sel( iv_process_type = ls_followup-process_type
iv_subobject_cat = ls_followup-subobject_category ).
To solve this issue, I have enhanced the component ERP_H view HeaderOverviewpage and event EH_ONFOLLOWUP_SELECTED, and then desactivated the code mentioned above.

I think it is difficult to have selection boxes on some condition.
We can have only one type of selection mode for alv.

JDev 10 - disable command button depending on which row is selected

I am using JDeveloper 10, and I have a table which has some data columns and a selection facet with View and Edit command buttons.
I would like all rows to be viewable. When you click the view event it goes to another .jsp with the view action.
It does the same thing with the edit action, however I would like to only allow rows which have an EffectiveDate column in the future to be editable.
Is there some way to disable the edit button when those rows are selected, or to throw a validation error when the edit button is clicked for that row?

So, I first tried using Chan advice, I added a new editable property from the database and then added Edit buttons to each row in the table with disabled property set to the editable property.
This correctly displayed buttons which were editable in the correct rows.
However, I was no longer using the select functionality which passed the rowId of the selected row to the edit page.
I wasn't able to quickly solve this problem so I tried John's solution.
I feel really dumb, but after about 20 rereadings it was still completely Greek to me, I have no idea what he was recommending.
So I added onclick="return editTest()" to the Edit button.
The I added ID to the relevant locations, and the following javascript to the page, and this is working well enough now.
(Oh, I display the date in a slightly odd dd-MMM-yyyy format, due to slightly odd customer requirements.)
I've probably misspelled one of the months, haven't yet finished testing.
A couple of gotchas I found
- Do not add onclick="editTest()" or else it will continue processing and allow all rows to be edited.
- Putting date = document.getElementById('mainFormId:tableId:'+i+':EffectiveDateId'); would work for the original search,
but after filtering results i and found_it are not equivalent, and date was not found in the page.

How to disable row in tabular form when checkbox checked?

Hi.... this is what i want to do....
I created tabular form for offering items... there is a checkbox that is used to select item with lowest price...
But i have also one column that shows item options ( option is for example... i want offer for 22" monitor Samsung, but seller have only 22" LG monitor.... so in my offering will be shown item (22" monitor Samsung) that i want, and in row below item (22" LG monitor) that seller have... both items will have same order id....
Next thing i want to do is when i select checkbox with item (22" LG monitor) as lowest price, i want that row with same order id (22" samsung monitor) is disabled.
Is that possible to do?

In my case i have a table n user enters data on multiple rows in table , n i have some input fields outside of table for those Inputs fields am settiing the data at the screen initilization(in Init() moethod by hard code).the problem is whenever the is clicking in th 2nd row of a table the Lead Selection is triggerig and the data in the Input Fields outside the table is not displayinig.
So by removing the lead Selection Action of a table i thought i can reslove this,
2) How to refresha page(like we click F5 on key board),is it can be done thru code in web dynpro application

Hi,
You did not explained what is your functionality or coding in leadselection. Is that action on leadselection is necessary for you?.
1)If you just want to remove the action then go to table properties and remove the action for leadselection.
2)If you still want to continue with your leadselect action, then what you can do is.. write the code in leadselection action to again set the input fields which are out from table. That is what you did in your init method.
Page Refreshing
3) What do you mean by page refreshing? is that refreshing your table only or both the table and input fields.
What I understood is you are allowing the user to enter values in table and soon after pressing a button the values should be saved and the data in input fields shld be deleted. For this if you only invalidate the node then the user entered data will be lost.
So what you do is after getting the input data from the user add it to a ArrayList and then invalidate the node which clears the data in input field. Finally bind the Arraylist to your node. see the following code. This is a concept make changes according to your requirement

Next row in JTable (skip disabled rows)

When I press the down button on my keyboard how can I move to the next available row. It should skip all disabled rows.
My subclass of JTable looks like this:

All the disabled rows is not selectable. Right now it just stop when the next row is disabled.

Well, I think the right way to it would be something like..

The last one is good asuming there must be at least one enabled row, otherwise you should handle this case also...

How to handle Event when more that 2 rows are selected in a WD Table

Hello WD developers,
I need your assistance.
My case is as following:
I have a WD table populated with data.
I also have several buttons in the toolbar table.
One of those buttons should be enabled only in case that one row (and only one)
is selected in the table otherwise it should be disable.
The problem is that an even is triggered only when the first row is selected
and when the second (third....) are selected no event occur.
Do you have any idea How can I solve this issue.

Hi,
In the Onlead selection of table make it visible and invisble of your buttons as per your selection.
The table have single selection and multi seletion options are availble when you defing the table you can find this options in the properties of the table.
In onlead selection your button to be mapped with attribute WDVisble.
And based on your selection you can visible and invisible.
wdContext.currentContextElement.set<attribute>(WDVisble.Visble);
and
wdContext.currentContextElement.set<attribute>(WDVisble.NONE);
This might helps you.

Disabling List View selection behavior

Hi,
I am using List view to display some text rows. I need the scroll bar on the right and the Sort option on top of the list but I would like to disable the selection behavior of each row. I am just using the rows for display purpose but the availability of hand-mouse pointer on each row is misleading as it lets the user to think that some action would be available if they click the mouse on a particular row. So I want to take this hand pointer off. Is there any other alternative to provide display of a table of items with a scroll bar or disable this behavior of List View ? Please help.

Hi Veena,
I guess you are using Xcelsius4.5, right? (Because in X5 there is no hand-mouse point.)
If you are using X4.5, As I know, hand-mouse point couldn't be disabled and there is no scroll bar for table component. But there maybe a walk-around for list view component:
1.Set the color of "Mouse Over Text" and "Selected Text" to black or other same color;
2.Set the color of "Selected Fill" and "Mouse Over Fill" to white.
Then when mouse over a row or select a row, there will be no color effects.
If you are using X5, you can set Table's scroll bar property in Behavior tab.

 How to disable a default selection checkbox in the tableview ???
I have a tableview with a iterator class mentioned on the iterator attribute of the table view. Table is a MULTISELECT tableview . Is it possible to disable or make it invisible a particular row selection check box?.
For my scenario I have Currency values on all the columns and I want to do a sub total overall total for all the price column fields in the last row of that table. I archived this functionality using Iterator class method. But I don't want the user to delete that last row in any case.

You can NOT disable the "Checkbox" of particular row using HTMLB. I had the same requirement. I achieved using 2 Tableviews, one after another. 1st tableview will show all the rows and 2nd Tableview(without Table Header) and without any row. The total will be displayed as Column title of 2nd Tableview.

Hi,
Use "select up to 1 rows" only if you are sure that all the records returned will have the same value for the field(s) you are interested in. If not, you will be reading only the first record which matches the criteria, but may be the second or the third record has the value you are looking for.
The System test result showed that the variant Single * takes less time than Up to 1 rows as there is an additional level for COUNT STOP KEY for SELECT ENDSELECT UP TO 1 ROWS.
The 'SELECT .... UP TO 1 ROWS' statement is subtly different. The database selects all of the relevant records that are defined by the WHERE clause, applies any aggregate, ordering or grouping functions to them and then returns the first record of the result set.

Hi Kiran,
Create a seperate view with the table of records same u are showing EVS because with EVS it is not possible to raise any event.
So add ths view to a seperate window and open that window instead of EVS .So here you can raise an event becuse it a view.
