Display format page by page

hi
In my program resultset contain more than 30 records.
I want to display 20 records and first page contain 10 records and second page contain 10 records.
The results should be shown in two pages with the index Page 1 of 1 or Page 1 of 2.
Suppose If there are less than 10 results, do not show the Page Index.
plz send me code.

Some DBMS softwares allow you to select the rows by row number in query results
Ex:- LIMIT keyword in MySQL that way you can first do a count and then if it is greater than the number or rows per page then do the query with limit tag limiting the rows in the results and the parameters to LIMIT clause should be calculated using the page index and the max rows per page value.
You can get the number of pages by deviding the no of total rows by max rows per page
IF the DBMS that you are using does not have that functionality you will have to do the limit part by your self
ex:-
The number of pages will be
(Total Rows DIV Max_Rows_Per_Page) + (((Total Rows MOD Max_Rows_Per_Page) > 0)?1:0)When the user requests for the x th page you shoule display atmost Max_Rows_Per_page rows starting from (x times Max_Rows_Per_page) row

The client requierment is "First G/L account line items (open, cleared or all) will be displayed and then the summary sheet will be displayed in a separate page

Hi Jay,
I've played with this before, but I was never happy with the result. I gave it another shot to answer your question, and I'm pretty pleased with this result. I'll say that you have a lot of latitude for adjustments in this template, so don't take it as being restrictive to what I'm illustrating. For instance, you can easily vary the line spacing, the weight of the lines, the color, etc.
In this example, the pitch of the lines is 32 points per line, blue stroke, and I placed a light yellow shape in the background. Here's the approach...
Open a blank Word Processing Template.
View > Show Layout.
Pages Preferences > Rulers > Ruler Units: Points.
Insert > Table.
Set the Table to 1-column, 0 Header Rows, and Footer Rows, Row Height = 32 points.
In the Wrap Inspector, set the table to Floating, and Does NOT cause Wrap.
Align the Top Left of the Table with the top Left of the Text Area.
Increase the Column Width until the single column extends all the way across the Text Area.
Increase the number of Rows until the table just fills the vertical Text Area of the page layout, plus one row..
Set the Outside Cell Borders to None.
Set the Mid Horizontal borders to Blue.
With the entire Table Selected, Arrange > Send Object to Background. Format >Advanced > Move Objects to Section Master, Arrange > Lock
If you want the colored background, Insert > Object > Rectangle. Graphics Inspector > Stroke > None. Color > your choice.
Stretch the Shape to cover the entire page size. Arrange > Send Object to Background. Format > Advanced > Send Objects to Section Master.
If the colored object is obscuring the lines, then: Arrange > Send Backward. In either case, Arrange > Lock.
Paste a good size paragraph (several lines) into the document.
Select the text. In the Text Inspector, set line spacing to Exactly and 32 Points.
Inspect the alignment of the Text and the Lines. If you are not pleased, Select the Table and bump it up or down with the vertical Arrow keys.
If you are satisfied, with the overall effect, Select all the Text and Type: Click here and enter text. Select the text "Click here and enter text." and Format > Advanced > Define as Placeholder Text. Lastly, File > Save as Template.
As I mentioned at the outset, you can easily modify these instructions to increase or decrease the number of lines per page, the type size, etc.

I have configured result source which gets data from bing site,i have given following url as source url

but it returns only 8 results from RSS. i want to get all results of search and display it in my SharePoint search results page.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to search result to get data from bing search and displayed it in sharepoint page.
To display more items, you can modify the item number when you add
New Query Rule.
To get all results, I recommend to use the “Show More”
link in the result page.
You can enter the URL when you add New Query Rule:

Display two sites in pages removed, why?

Hi folks,
I try to change von MS Office to iWorks. Everything fine. I updated some days before to pages 5.2. Everything works well, but know I am not able to display two sites in pages. This function was removed. Have anybody an idea why? This is a standard feature what I use every day......
Is there any possbibility to show tow sites? Or will there be an udapte with this missing option?

Pages 5.x doesn't have facing pages option. Why? Ask Apple. They have stripped down Pages 5. It has lost about 100s of features that Pages 09 has!!! The two Pages have the same format extenstion but are coded differently.

Header not getting displayed in the next page in the second table

Dear Experts ,
I have a query regarding Header not getting displayed in the next page in the second table of the main window. .Let me elobrate the issue.
I have a smartform in which there are 2 tables TABLE 1 and TABLE 2 in the smartform MAIN window. TABLE 1 is for pending PO and TABLE 2 is for future delivery date P O separated by text in between.
Now the header for both the tables and the data are getting displayed properly if the total output is in only one page. But If there are more entries in the TABLE 1 the Header for the TABLE 2 is not getting displayed. Header for TABLE 1 yet gets displayed properly in the next page in case of more entries.
Only issue is that Header for TABLE 2 is not getting displayed in second page but it gets displayed if the entries are less in TABLE 1 and the total output is in one page .
Please provide a elobrate solution on this problem as the requirement is urgent.

Hi all..
The END-OF-PAGE is not displayed in the last page of the classical report.
SY-LINCT value is 30.
Lines displayed in the report per page is 24.
[3 for TOP-OF-PAGE and 3 for END-OF-PAGE]
My Internal table has 6942 records.
It comes 289 pages with 24 records in a page and 290 th page with 6 records.
The END-OF-PAGE is not coming for the 290 th page.
Please help.

How to make create, edit, display form in a page fragment ?

I have a problem when I want to make create, edit,display in a page.
Ok let's say we have created two pages,
In page A we have 3 buttons, CreateEmp, EditEmp and DisplayEmp button and one text field as a parameter field to edit and display (let say employeeId).
In page B we have form employee to create new employee, edit employee and display and a button AddMoreEmp (to add more employee without back to page A)
in this case if button EditEmp is pressed in page A, so button AddMoreEmp in page B will be enabled
if button DisplayEmp in page A is pressed , so button AddMoreEmp in page B will be disabled.

I think what you are looking for is a comb field. It acts like a regular field but puts the vertical lines in between each character. You can turn the comb on in the object palette and indicate how many chars will appear in the field (so that it knows how many lines to draw).

How can I force Firefox to properly format all html pages to a pdf without losing top and right hand margins?

Setting up page printout format for pdf on a Mac OS/X Snow Leopard Mac Pro. Printer is HP 8500A OfficeJet Pro Plus bought after July 14, 2011 serial number- CN141CK7QM
When I print to file as a pdf I am getting the first page correctly but subsequent pages are getting clipped along the top and the right margins.
I don't have this problem with my IBook 4.0
The issue is formatting an html page to a pdf when the print request is asking for a pdf or when the print request is to the printer.

I have specified a default paper size of "USLetter".
This printing issue is a new one that occurred since I started the Firefox updates after Firefox 6.0 series.
I am checking with HP on this issue. Prior to the HP8500A (installed in July 2011) I did have a HP6180 Officejet for several years without encountering such a conflict.
So my second question is; Are there Firefox printing conflicts with the HP 8500A printers?

I was surprised to see that you got away with your French word, but the hat part must have hidden the first part from the nanny filter. The first part by itself would have become asterisks.

Updated to the latest revision. Firefox will not display my chosen home page without clicking on home icon.

Since latest update...Firefox will not allow a new page to be opened from a link in a current page. It will allow a new tab to be opened (with tabbed browsing checked) but i prefer a new page. Even in tabbed browsing links to things like a pdf will not work at all.
Firefox WILL NOT close. X-ing out will close the window but I can not get back to Firefox without closing it in task manager.
Firefox will not display my chosen home page without clicking on home icon.

Junk characters like" � � "displayed in the jsp page please help.

I am getting junk characters like � � displayed in the jsp page.
In the JSP page i used javascript "& nbsp" for appending spaces to a string "CCR" to get "CCR " .
Now the Resultant string "CCR " has three spaces appended to its right.
This String is set in session in that JSP page.
In the next JSP page i am getting that string from session.
After getting the string the "substring" function is performed to get only the first 5 charcters of the string. Now the result is displayed as " CCR� � " with has last 2 characters as junk values � � insteed of displaying as "CCR ". Please help me in solving this issue.
Please note that initially the sting "CCR" is got from the Oracle database in Solaris Machine.

have you tried:
strenuously inspecting the string that is coming from the db? do an actual loop over the string, character by character, dumping to System.out to make sure the characters are EXACT coming out of the db.
note you have to append " " not just "& nbsp"
post the code that is doing the output. the relevant bean code, the jsp, everything relevant - WITH COMMENTS discussing where things are happening.
Also, is it "weird characters" in the browser only? have you done a view source on the actual html source that the browser is rendering (right click in IE and click view source). browsers can act odd if you don't feed then exactly what they want, and it looks like you're feeding it escaped characters that it is rendering as something else.

How do I disable the reload on the back button of Firefox and have it display the cached/prior page version?

Every time I click the "back" button, Firefox reloads the previous page I was on. How do I disable the reload and have Firefox display the cached/prior page version? The whole point of going "back" is to see what we were just looking at.. I don't want a refreshed version of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am running version 3.6.12.
