Display of MIC results - period based

Dear All
It is required for me get a report for material-period combination for the results recorded against a MIC.This can be against different Inspection lots also.
I need to get this for a week / fortnight in a single screen / ALV.Is there any std. transaction available in SAP for the same.

Are you asking how to pivot the results of the query? Do a search for horizontal looping. If that's not what you are asking, please provide more details.

OIM 11g R2 Beta: Display default search results while displaying Catalog

All,
We are trying to achieve displaying a default search results automatically (based on any criteria) while displaying the Catalog screen. By OOTB feature, the Catalog search is empty and there won't be any results displayed while displaying the Catalog screen. Please provide any directions or inputs for achieving this functionality if anyone is aware of how to achieve this functionality.

In Search box enter any search item and click "Add to Cart" and then click "Checkout". Now in the same catalog screen at the right side of list of Cart Items you can see button as "Save As Profile". Give any name to this Profile and save the profile. Now if you click Catalog again, you can see the created profile under catalog search.

How can I display one of two DataTables based on criteria

I have two DataTables. One DataTable should be displayed or the other DataTable should be displayed in the same JSP based on some criteria. I wish I could put an if statement in the JSP page but how else can I do this? Is there a JSF tag that is like an if statement?

Try to use rendered attribute.
Create boolean variable in your bean ie private boolean showTab1And in jsp type
<h:dataTable id="tab1" value="..." var="..." rendered="#{myBean.showTab1}">
</h:dataTable>
<h:dataTable id="tab2" value="..." var="..." rendered="#{!myBean.showTab1}">
</h:dataTable>if showTab1 is true, first dataTable shows, otherwise second dataTable is shown.

How to display the search result without reloading the whole page

HI,
I have separate fragments for Search Box to enter keyword and Search Result to display the result. Also I have different sections within the page to put these fragments. So how could I display the results without reloading the whole page.
Also if I have next button in my search result area, how could I display the search results in next page without reloading all other sections present in our page. Please let me know if any service or idoc function present such that result could be shown in search result section without reloading whole page.
Please let me know how to restrict page reload for every action within a page.

This is default behaviour of the template of your space. You can create a new page template and than you can create a region for the search results.
Or you can create a custom taskflow were you use the webcenter taskflows to search for the space.

What I would like to do is as follows:
I have a fantasy hockey league website. For each team I have
a team page (clubhouse) which is generated using PHP/MySQL. The one
area I would like to clean up is the displaying of the divisional
standings on the right side. As of right now, I use a URL variable
(division = id2) to grab the needed data, which works ok. What I
want to do is clean up the url abit.
So far the url is
clubhouse.php?team=Wings&id=DET&id2=Pacific, in the end all
I want is clubhouse.php?team=Wings.
I have a separate table, that has the teams entire
information (full team name, short team, abbreviation, conference,
division, etc. so I was thinking if I could somehow do this:
Recordset Team Info is filtered using URL variable team
(short team). Based on what team equals, it would then insert this
variable into the Divisional Standings recordset.
So example: If I type in clubhouse.php?team=Wings, the Team
Info recordset would bring up the Pacific division. Then 'Pacific'
would be inserted into the Divisional Standings recordset to
display the Pacific Division Standings.
Basically I want this
SELECT *
FROM standings
WHERE division = <teaminfo.division>
ORDER BY pts DESC
Could someone help me, thank you.

Assuming two tables- teamtable and standings:
teamtable - which has entire info about the team and has a
field called
"div" which has the division name say "pacific" and you want
to use this
name to get corresponding details from the other table.
standings - which has a field called "division" which you
want to use to
give the standings
SELECT * FROM standings AS st, teamtable AS t
WHERE st.division = t.div
ORDER BY pts DESC
Instead of * you could be specific on what fields you want to
select ..
something like
SELECT st.id AS id, st.position AS position, st.teamname AS
team

EWT - giving validity period based on withholding tax code

Dear Friends,
1) My client is having different withholding tax codes (based on rates) for the same withholding tax type. I have given validity period based on withholding tax type in EWT -> Company code -> Assign withholding tax types to company codes, but they want at withholding tax code level because each withholding tax code is having different validity period.
Could you please let me know whether we can give validity period or dates based on withholding tax code instead of withholding tax types.
2) Also please let me know how to handle LTDC based withholding tax codes.

it is not possible to give validity period for tax codes.if you are
using formula functionality,you can set validity period for tax code rates.

Display of OVERALL RESULT value in any particult CELL in Workbook???

Hi,
is it possible to display the OVERALL RESULT value of a report in a particular cell in the workbook?
Here is the scenario: When i run a workbook, say the overall result is $1000. i want to display this value in cell D7 of the workbook.
is this possible using macros????

How to display the Standard Text (SO10) based on condition in adobe forms

I have created the Standard texts (through SO10 tr.code) of 4 plant addresses. In the Layout of adobe form, i want to display any one plant address based on the plant number (as a input) and the rest 3 standard text need to be hide. i tried in Form clac to hide, but i unable to succeed. could you please help me, in this regard.

Hi,
You can add all the 4 text in your context menu and create an condition for text.
Example: (LS_HEADER is a structure only for example, you need to decide based on your own form interface)
Text_1000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 1000
Text_2000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 2000
Text_3000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 3000
Text_4000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 4000
The text satisfyling your condition will only be printed and you can assign these text to the same block in PDF form.

Hi, what you are trying accomplish is known as pagination.
You could use JSTL tags with Custom Tags to perform pagination in your JSP pages.

Display the rating result in the Renderlistitem form

As per my scenario, i want to display the rating results like the average rating of the document and rated by some peoples in the renderlistitem form for every news. I added the link for feedback and rating in the renderlistitem, it's shows every news. Default, it will be displayed in the rating form below of the rating option. Now i want same thing in the renderlistitem form, because before give the rating i need to see the rating result and then give the rating of the news. How to achieve this, pls help me on this.

with the addition of concatenating a " on the first col and last col of the query
eg.

Otherwise if either is a number they would have to be converted with a TO_CHAR

Oracle (SQL) support for Temporal / time period based data

Beyond standard SQL (DATE type etc. and <,>, LEAST, GREATEST, etc.) does Oracle offer anything to help handle time period based data? E.g. overlapping periods, joins when gaps in time periods from 2+ tables, period contiguity checks, etc. I've developed various SQL query techniques, but they're all rather cumbersome using standard SQL.
Oracle Spatial offers geo-location support - is there anything similar for temporal query support?
Any good books / docs on the subject?

You may also want to have a read through this series of articles about temporal database systems. They aren't Oracle specific, but may help you with your temporal system design.
