Display the report in web

Hi,
i installed 0anaysis_patteren when i run this url in web http://176.0.0.87:8000/sap/bw/bex . iam not displaying any queries inorder to diplay the queries in the web what are the steps i need to follow .Highly appreciated to you any one reply on this issue.

Hi,
Any queries in the web means from WAD or normal BEx queries?
If you are trying to execute BEx queries then go to->Query designer->open a query and select the option display in the web (Web button is available in the query designer menu toolbar).

If there is WAD or any other issue check with JAVA engine. Also if the link is related to portal, then chevk with the EP team.

Well your requirement is a little bit odd, displaying data in database without using tools or application. What's form of these reports you are talking about? Are they just bunch of queries?
If you don't want to use heavy duty software like cognos or business objects, then consider use Oracle Application Express APEX

by the way cognos and business objects are OLAP tools, does that mean your reports are OLAP report?

Report 6i/Webdb -Not able to display the report in the browser - rep- 3002 error.

Would someone tell what I missed, I have set up the following:
1) a report using report builder on NT
2) my database is in Unix
3) my report server is started in NT
4) I run webdb listener for the following code: http://myweb.com/cgi/rwcgi60.exe?server=repserver+report=myreport+userid=usid/pw/connect_string+destype=cache+desformat=html. Then, I receive this message:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job has terminated with error.
Reports Server Replies:
REP-3002: Error initializing printer. Please make sure a printer is installed.
Why is it thinking I want to use the printer whereas I want to display the report in the browser?. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like that your Web CGI did not configure right. To test if your CGI configuration is correct, type:
http://hostname:port/cgi-bin/rwcgi60exe?
If you get a help screen, then you should be able to bring up your report.

Display the reports under all subfolders at a time in the content area?

In SAP EP portal,We have a requirement to display few reports wherein we have 7 roles with the same names but different ID's and they are merged together so that even if the users have 7 roles assigned he will see only 1 tab in the first level navigation and uder that there will be one folder at the second level.Now the requirement is like this
1st level navigation : Role Name
2nd level navigation :Folder Name
Detailed Navigation : Folder Name
                                 Sub Folder Name
                                 Sub -sub folder1 Name
                                 Reports   --(one or many)
                                 Sub -sub folder2 Name
                                 Reports   --(one or many)
                                 Sub -sub folder3 Name
                                 Reports   --(one or many)
Under al the sub-sub folders a workset map iview is added to display the reports with a pictogram in the content area.In the detailed navigation, as soon as the user clicks on the Sub folder the user should be able to see the reports under all the Sub-sub folders( Sub-sub folder1,Sub-sub folder2,Sub-sub folder3) .But currently the user has to explicitly click on each of the Sub-sub folders to view the reports(thrice in this case).Plz give a solution in which all the reports under the 3 Sub-sub folders should appear simultaneouly in the content area at a single click on Sub Folder

Getting error while executing the report in WEB

Hello Experts,
I have did validation in my report on selection screen, if that validation is successful then only we can see the report output
otherwise it's give the error message.
Validations are working query designer and RSRT but when I run the report in WEB then even if the validation is successful then also I am getting the error message and not able to see the report output.
I have written the code in user exit for validation.
Can any one tell me why it is so?
what needs to do?

SQL 2012 R2 - SSRS with the Report Server Web Service URL, can't access

Hello:
I am installing Dynamics CRM 2013. When I am on RS Configuration manager; I am running into the SSRS (SQL 2012 on Server 2012)SQL issue, can't access the
http://servername/:80/ReportsServer or
http://servername/:Reports web pages
The database server has SSRS native mode installed, it is using a domain account for the service credentials. This account also has permission to log on a service in the GPO
Account is a domain admin and is a local administrator
SQL server is 2012 R2 on Windows Server 2012. User base is less than 60 people and they have SharePoint 13 on the same SQL server. Server more than enough resources.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

http://servername/:80/ReportsServer or http://servername/:Reports web pages from Reporting Services configuration manager, SSRS in configured in native mode and the account you used is a local administrator.
In Reporting Services, URLs are used to access the Report Server Web service and Report Manager. Before we can use either application, we need to configure at least one URL each for the Web service and Report Manager. If we are using the Reporting Services
Configuration tool to create or modify the URLs, we can accept the default values for a URL or specify custom values. When we create a report server URL, we must specify the following parts: Host name, port and Virtual directory. In order to improve the efficiency
of troubleshooting, I need to ask several questions:
Since the default URL is http://<computername>/reportserver, did you type the URLs manually? or the URLs configured in Reporting Services configuration manager are
http://servername/:80/ReportServer and
http://servername/:Reports?
Could you provide detailed information of error log(default location: %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles)?

Names of columns don't appear when I read the report on WebI 6.5
The report was developped on BO 6.5 and was published on WebI.
When I read the report with the HTML mode, the names of the colums appear.
When I read the report with the PDF mode, the names of the columns don't appear.
I try to read the report with the HTML mode and after, I try to save it in pdf but it doesn't work. (it is the operation of conversion of pdf which doesn't work - it's very long and... nothing appends)

This is the default column. I didnu2019t add column heading. But I replaced the name of the column by words.
I havenu2019t change the property of column heading.
It is a cross tab.

Hi,
To do this you have to have the settings done in Info object maintenance where in the Map should have been integrated already.
Once that is done, in BEx designer you can have the setting by cloicking the icon.

The page cannot be displayed while running the report with web link

Hello,
I tried to run the report using a web link similar:
http://hostname/reports/rwservlet?report=WRFTCKL.rdf&userid=use/pass@datbase&desformat=pdf&destype=CACHE&paramform=yes
I am able to see the parameter form, but after I entered some parameter and submit, I got an error as:
The page cannot be displayed.
But if I run it with the paramform=no and attached the parameter/value pair at the end of the link, the report will show on the web.
Anyone knows what is wrong?

I have a Web application in VS 2010 (NET 4.0) running reports in VS 2003 (NET 1.1) and CR XI. What should I consider for the reports to run well? When setting up the basics of the folder where the reports are in IIS 7.5, item I keep in the Application Pool: NET 1.1, but when in the same IIS server I click on Browse *: 80, I generated the following error: HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error
The requested page can not be accessed Because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

Reports are made in VS 2003 (. NET 1.1) and CR XI using a framework. This framework is placed in the web server (Windows 2008 Server R2) and called from VS 2010.
Sorry, I'm still having problem understanding this.
Only CRVS2010 will work with VS2010. The reports can be created in any version of CR you want, but to load the reports in VS2010, you need CRVS2010, create a project in VS2010, then deploy the project and the CRVS2010 runtime(?).
E.g.;
1) Create report using CR XI
2) Install CRVS2010 on a computer that has VS2010
3) Create a project using CRVS2010 in VS 2010 - can use any framework you want
4) Deploy VS2010 project
5) Install CRVS2010 runtime

Can not display BI report in Web ui

I created reporting profile with both bi and interactive reporting active and assigned to the business role functional profile
I gave the BI connection client in the report that I wanted. When I select the report in webu ui, it's taking me to a sign on pad. I assume this for BI sign on pad and When i enter sign on, it's not taking me any where.
This just a standard report in CRM My top 5 quotations. All necessary steps in basic bi connection, basic sales analytics are done too
How does the the connection between BI and crm works?

We are using Webiu 2007 with BI 7.
We linked our sandbox to RWT system to test the report output. In my CRS, I have source system RWT defined and the same way in BI also we have assigned CRS to link these systems together. It is my understanding that when we select the report, we are just calling the from BI into CRM. I have done the following steps in CRM
1) Created reporting profile in CRM analytics as both BI and CRM interactive reporting activated
2) Assigned this reporting profile to business role
3) I selected My-Top-5 quotation report and gave the BI system in display bi reports
4) I can see the report on webui.
Problem: When I selected the report, a logon pad appears and I enter RWT user id and password, it's doing nothing. But, I have another user who is logging in for the first time got an error "Error loading template "OTPLB_OCRM_QUTO_Q0001_1 notification number BRAIN276". When the same new user tried to login second or third time, it's not showing the error and nothing is happening when we enter userid and pass word. But, we can logon to GUI RWT.
We tried to pull a query view report and web template reports see if we can display data. The BI team gave me couple of info objects keys.
1) I created the report with object key and type as one for 3.x template and one for 3.x query view
2) Created logical links for these two reports and selected these two reports in business role. Now the reports are showing in webui
3) When I select any of these, it taking to a blank screen without any logon screen.
BW team says that these reports are running with data in their system.
Can someone please help?

Display the report server error in the application

i have got an error while running the report from the application , the status of the report was "TERMINATED_WITH_ERROR" which come from the "REPORT_OBJECT_STATUS" built in function ,
when i go to the application server to the failed jobs i got :
Terminated with error: REP-1401: ??? ??? ???? ?? PL/SQL: 'cf_1formula'.
ORA-01403: ?? ??? ?????? ??? ??? ??????
the problem is i wan to display to the end user this error ORA-01403
not only "TERMINATED_WITH_ERROR" .....

Give a button in your web page with 'Check status' which on hitting, make an ajax call, to query the status table, and show the status in that page.
