Displaying Output in PREVIEW Mode, not through Concurrent program View O/p

Hello All,
I am very new to the XML Publisher. In my very first report, i am facing some problem. i.e
I have built the template and loaded the sample XML File into it, able to see the output in PREVIEW Mode.
But, when i register this to a Template and Data Definition, i am not able to see the output values, instead i could able to get only the Hard coded values in the Template.
EX: In, ' BILL TO: ' and <?bill_to?>
i am getting only this hard code value of 'BILL TO:' but not the value of Bill to.
Please help me in figuring out the problem.

It looks like more of an issue with connecting to essbase, usually "java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no HspEssbaseEnv in java.library.path" means planning has not been installed or deployed correctly, what OS is it running on?

How to Process flat File in Oracle Apps through Concurrent Program

Hello Everyone,
My client has a request, to process a bank file (Lockbox) which is a flat file that will be copied on UNIX box and I will have to create a new concurrent request that will process this flat file and will update receipt information in Oracle Apps database tables.
Could you please suggest, if there are any other standard Oracle Apps functions (Example FND) available which can be used through Concurrent program that can be used to open a file from a particular directory and can be read from the flat file and after processing this file can be closed.
Please let me know, if you have a small example, that would help me a lot.

Chart not displaying data during preview mode

Hi
I hope you can help me with the following issue.
I have created a dashboard in Xcelsius however during preview mode the chart is not showing the data.
The cells which the chart is looking at are containing formulas to update based on the input of a filter component.
I have already checked the functions that are allowed by Xcelsius and my formula seems to be in line with the supported Excel function list.
I am assuming that either Flash can not convert the Excel formula during runtime or I am having some problems with Xcelsius.
The formula that I am using to to find the categories is the following (which is working in the creation mode).

The logic behind it is that the formula will count how many times the lookup value is in the lookup range and will return them in the cells for the chart range.
Anyway I would really appreciate any feedback that might help me resolve this issue.

Report runs OK through concurrent program, but not when called through URL

We have a custom 6i report developed that works successfully 100% of the time when run through a concurrent program.
We are now attempting to integrate this into an OAF application. To do this, we build the necessary call to the reports server by reading different profile options, etc and come up with a URL like this:
http://ebsd777.xxxxx.com:8000/dev60cgi/rwcgi60?d777_APPS+report=XXMFG_ESPEC_REPORT.rdf+P_SPEC_ID=43+DESFORMAT=PDF
This report works 90% of the time when called like this, but the other 10%, we get the following error:
"Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Incorrect usage."
Trying to find what the differences are between the reports that work and those that don't - found that reports which fail seem to extend out further to the right than the reports that do work. But, these reports still fit on standard letter paper in landscape format - as we can verify through the concurrent program call.
Is there some sort of report server setting or parameter which we can change to get this to work when called through the reports server URL?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

But when i call the same program through the pl/sql executable of another concurrent program , it does not print the pdf output by defaultHow do you call the program? What is the value of the number of copies profile option?

Type display issue in Preview mode

The font I am using does not display in iBooks Author preview mode on the iPad. Is there a restriction as to what typefaces can be used?

The restriction applies to fonts that are supported on iOS and your iPad w/iBooks 2.
Thus is matters not which fonts you install on your Mac. You are obligated to work off of the list of fonts that iBA makes available to you. If you bring in content that uses other fonts, iBA will make substitutions.
When devs code iOS apps, they can apply additional font support, so perhaps this will be an iBA feature in the down the road. As always, feel free to use the 'Provide iBooks Author Feedback' menu item for features you'd like added in the future, etc. http://www.apple.com/feedback/ibooks-author.html

Open multitasking by double tapping the home button (at the bottom), a row of apps you've recently used should appear, tap and hold the photos app until it wiggles and displays an x, tap the x to close and then reopen the camera roll app. Let me know if it works. It's odd and frustrating, I know.

Output shows in report builder but not in concurrent program

Issue in getting output through concurrent program

I have developed a procedure and registered in APPS and passing 2 parameters.
while running the concurrent program i have entered values for 2 parameters and submitted.. but it is going as null (log file) and i am not getting output.
This procedure is working fine in Back End.
Please help me to fix it.

Hi,
stored procedures MUST be coded with errbuf and retcode OUT parameters
which MUST be defined as first parameters of your procedure if you want to
use the procedure as concurrent request.
errbuf parameter comes first, retcode comes second, then the rest of your
parameters.
Populate retcode with 0 if logic within your procedure completes successful,
use 2 if the program ran into an exception (either a logic exception or when
an unexpected error should occurr) and use 1 for retcode, if your logic
should indicate a warning such as "no data found for processing" or something
like this.
When defining concurrent program in sysadmin responsibility do NOT define
parameters for errbuf and retcode, only for the rest of your parameters.
That's all - in short.

Preview Mode not working

Hello, I am having an issue with Muse's Preview Mode. When I try to preview in the browser, only the footer and background is showing. The rest of the page is blank.
I am using a Windows 8 Lenovo and using IE.

Bridge open up in a preview mode not photoshop as it should

Let me make a few educated guesses:
1.— You're on a Mac.
2.— Your image files are being opened in Apple's Preview.app
If I guessed correctly, all you need to do now is go to the Finder, do a Get Info on one of your files (Command 1), change the Open With application to Photoshop, then click on the Change all button. You'll need to do this for each file type (PSD, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, etc.

Gif file won't animate in Muse's preview mode or in Muse's view in browser mode

Created a gif file with Photoshop that's 7.5MB in size. Placed the gif file on a Muse page. But, the gif won't animate in Muse's preview mode or when Muse sends the page to be viewed in browser mode. I'm using a Mac running OS X 10.9.2 and I'm a creative cloud member using Muse. Any solutions?

Step one to enable the community to help debug what you're encountering would be to provide the URL for the page where the GIF is being used. My first guess would be there are effects applied to the image (i.e. inner glow, bevel, etc.) that require Muse to re-encode the image and Muse does not support encoding animated .gif. It only supports passing animated .gif files through unchanged. (And to get an image to pass through unchanged it needs to have no effects that require rasterization applied in Muse.)
Given you've stated the GIF file is 7.5Mb I have to question your choice of .gif. At 7.5Mb this single file will take ~8 seconds to download on the average US broadband connection and will be much slower for many broadband users and most cellular users. GIF is a reasonable choice for very small short animations used sparingly, but is seldom (if ever) a good choice for larger or longer animations. Better choices for those are to use a video or a tool like Edge Animate to create a HTML5/CSS3 animation. The end result will be vastly more user friendly in terms of page load performance.
A huge percentage of first time visitors to a webpage will cancel the page load rather than waiting 8+ seconds for the page load to complete.

Scp through concurrent programs errors with ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/lib/ssh/

We are setting up a shell script as a concurrent program which has an scp command in it. When we run the shell script from the command prompt it works fine, but when run through the front end (concurrent program) it throws the below error:

Urgent! Can not open "Concurrent Program" Window

But u misunderstand my question.
I use Oracle Applications release 11i. When I select Concurrent/Program/Define from Navigator/System Administrator. This form 'Concurrent Programs' is still in loading status.
And I try compile file form module 'FNDCPMCP.fmb', but it can be built into FNDCPMCP.fmx.

Detailed log when data template is run through concurrent program

I have registered a data template and I am using concurrent program to generate the output (By giving executable name as XDODTEXE and making short name of the concurrent program as the code of the data definition).
When I run the concurrent program, it gives me the error

The process to make an program incompatible with itself is described in MOS Doc 142944.1 (How to Make a Concurrent Program Incompatible with Itself) - you will have to bounce the concurrent managers for the setting to take effect
