how to disply 0, if the query is not selected any rows.
how to write the condition at format trigger?. if there is no rows what will be the value of fields?.

The easiest way to do this is to have a summary column at a higher level that counts the rows returned by the query (does a Count on any field). You can then check the value of this summary column in format triggers, etc.

Assinging default values when nothing input to varibale by user.
Hello I need to right a script that will ask for 2 date ranges to be specified by the user, this script should default to the earliest and most recent date in a table if the user dosent enter anything for each value. My script will be something like this

I tried using define to give the variables an initial value but instead the script uses that value and dosent ask for input. Is it possible to use varibales this way and if so then how can I do it.

Nothing I've tried (as stated above including theme restore add-on, etc.) has returned tabs to BELOW url bar position. I had located information ( within mozilla support ) referencing instructions to delete content from a folder. Please provide specific instructions as to the location of this folder.

[email protected]Firefox 29 has a completely new interface layout that doesn't work with tabs in a different position. There is an extension which modifies the toolbar area to be more like before. I haven't tried it myself. Probably a good idea to make a backup first. Alternately, you could switch back to the release channel and use Firefox 28.

Display Nothing in table column heding when parameter doesn't have any value

I created one tabular report . Report has 2 parameters(ex: A and B) both have default values from two different datasets. I am using these parameters in two column headings (col1 has parameter A and col2 has parameter B) in report. My question is, if parameters(A
and B ) don't have any value from the datasets it should display "Nothing" in the table column headings(col1 and col2). If parameters(A & B) have some value(June & July respectively) it should display in table column headings(col1 and col2).

According to your description, you want to display the value of two parameters in two column headers. Parameter A in col1, parameter B in col2. And if the parameter returns null value, it should display “Nothing” in the header. If the
parameter return a value, the value should be displayed in the column header.
If in this scenario, in order to achieve your requirement, we can refer to the following expression in the two column headers:
=iif(Parameters!ReportParameter_name.Value
is nothing,"Nothing",Parameters!ReportParameter_name.Value)

Put function in EntityImpl receive nothing as value

I am writing my first application with ADF and I am struggling with my entity validation.
I have an entity game with an attribute homeTeamId and awayTeamId. I also has an entity Team with an attribute LeagueId.
When I create a game, I need to validate if the home team and the away team have the same LeagueId.
I wrote the following function in GameImpl.java

I debugged my AppModule.
getHomeTeamId returns an empty object.
So I put a breakpoint in this function that is generated by the ADF framework.

If yes try to put System.out.println and check.
This should fire similar to when validate record in Forms.

Default value for af:richTextEditor

Whenever nothing is written in af:richTextEditor null is displyed on screen.
Is there any way to specify, black space or any default value if nothing is entered in af:richTextEditor.
I tried doing it with required="true immediate="true" but in my usecase the af:richTextEditor is in declarative component and can be called many times. I also tried with rendered but not sucessuful with my use case.
So i am looking for solution where i can have default value for af:richTextEditor, where if user entr nothing that default value (black space) is displayed.public string getValue1(){

How does APEX check for null values in Text Fields on the forms? This might sound trivial but I have a problem with a PL/SQL Validation that I have written.
I have one select list (P108_CLUSTER_ID) and one Text field (P108_PRIVATE_IP). I made P108_CLUSTER_ID to return null value when nothing is selected and assumed P108_PRIVATE_IP to return null value too when nothign is entered in the text field.
All that I need is to validate if P108_PRIVATE_IP is entered when a P108_CLUSTER_ID is selected. i.e it is mandatory to enter Private IP when a cluster is seelcted and following is my Pl/SQL code

My problem is it is returning FALSE for all the cases.It works fine in SQL Command though..When I tried to Debug and use Firebug, I found that Text fields are not stored a null by default but as empty strings "" . Now I tried modifying my PL/SQL to check Private_IP against an empty string. But doesn't help. Can someone please tell me how I need to proceed.

How to pass multiple MDX values for a single parameter into a drill-through report?
I'm thinking this will be an easy question for any experienced SSRS/MDX developers, at least I hope so! I've created a report that gives the user the option to choose viewing data for the current/active week, or YTD. Depending on which link the
user selects, the report simply calls itself and needs to pass in the parameter value for Active week. If it's active week, the parameter value will simply be "true". If it's YTD, the parameter value needs to be both "True" and "False" so the current
week's data is accounted for as well. I've set everything up except for the final step, and I have no idea what to type into the Value field below. I've tried different things: false, as you see below (it errors saying I'm missing the parameter
value), the value in MDX format: =[School Dates].[Active Week].&[True] (it said I was missing a bracket), a 1 instead of the word true (again, missing a parameter value). Nothing is working.
So my question is kindof two-fold: 1) how do you pass in the value at all and 2) more specifically, how do you pass in multiple values (both true & false) ??I'm sorry for being so dense, but I'm not quite following, although what I've tried makes me think if I can follow you, it will work :)
To answer your initial questions, you are correct with both your assumptions:
1) detailType is the parameter that specificies YTD/Weekly, this is a "report defined" parameter that I am using to determine which Row Group to display (either YTD or Weekly)
2) SchoolDaysActiveWeek is the parameter that is being set to either true or false -- this is a field in the cube that states whether that record is for the current week or not
So in following your instructions, well that's the problem I'm not quite following :)
1) When you say Delete the SchoolDaysActiveWeek parameter from the report only, do you mean to mark the parameter as Hidden? If so, I've done this.
2) I'm not quite sure where to use the statement you provided me. You said to put it in the dataset, but I don't know which dataset. I assume you mean the "main" dataset (as opposed to the hidden dataset that gets generated when you mark a field
as a parameter). If this is the case, the only place I could see that would allow you to use such a statement is in the Filter section of the properties. I tried this, and it did not generate any errors, but it also kept my report groups from displaying
-- it just showed a blank report, so I think it probably wasn't bringing back any rows to populate them with.
I also tried going into the Expression section for the SchoolDaysActiveWeek parameter in the second screenshot and placing the statement there. When I did this and ran the report, I would get the following error:
The 'SchoolDaysActiveWeek' parameter is missing a value
So what am I missing!?

Setting initial values on structures
I have written a middle-ware wrapper which allows me to call a SAP RFC from SQL Server stored procedures. I am upgrading it from the DCOM to the .Net connector so I can run it on Windows 2003 Server.
When I set a string value (SAP C type) to initial I get the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." raised in the proxy object. This error does not happen for non-initial values, and also does not happen on my development workstation. It happens if I set the string to "" or to " ". It occurs on two servers - Windows 2000 and Windows 2003.
I can't figure out how to debug this, and can't find anything in this forum or on SAP Notes. Has anyone else found this error?A clear head in the morning makes all the difference. There was no problem with the .Net Connector.
The problem lay with SQL Server's sp_OAMethod procedure, or possibly in the .Net component's CCW. If you pass an empty string in as an argument, your component gets a Nothing. I therefore fixed it in the component with:
If Value Is Nothing Then Value = ""

Radio Buttons w/ Multiple Values on a PHP Form
Hi,
I have an Online Registration form with several options that each have their own prices. I want the form results to show the name of each option the user selects, and the total of all the prices combined. My question is how can I do that when each radio button only allows you to attach one value? Is there a way to somehow retrieve the option name and price as two separate values?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've only had to deal with one value for each radio button in the past.

PaulYes you can do this. If I were you I would eliminate the space in the value just to eliminate confusion. Then when you process the variable use the Explode function ( http://php.net/manual/en/function.explode.php ) to separate the values in your string. So if you eliminate the space your code would look like:
$_POST['option'] = $option;
$option = explode ("-",$option);
print $option[0]; //This would print the material
print $option[1]; //This would print the price
The only trick is your first two options don't have a color. So your arrays would be different. To offset this I would recommend that you use the same format for all options and make some sort of null value if nothing will be added for one value in the array, ie: color. -
Passing parameter values to powershell function from batch file

I90RunnerI am not sure about calling a function in a script like how you want to. Also I see you are setting the values of the parameters, this is not needed unless you want default values if nothing is passed. The values for the parameters will be passed via the
batch file. So for me the easiest way is as indicated.

How can I make a list and after selecting a value, avoid displaying it.
Let's say I have a ListBox or a ListOfValues(in Forms), and I have as Data.

next time I display the list, (been selected "LEVEL2"), it doesnt display it anymore (unless I clean it or select another value).I've search on google but I did not found any tutorial for this particular thing. I found instead this code :

Make field read only untill value within pciklist is choosen

I am trying to establish if it is possible to make a field read-only until a value within a pick list is chosen. Basically we have a pick list called structure and if the field value called "Aligned" is selected then I want the text field called Aligned Name to be available for import all other times this field should not be available.
Has anyone done anything similar? I'm guessing that this could only be achieved through WF but I haven't been able to find any code to make fields read only.For those of you unable to download the document from MetaLink3 here it is:
As an example to illustrate this requirement, let’s say that once there is a checkbox field called "My_Check_Box". When this field is checked, the "Account Type" field need to become a required for entry by the user. To do this follow these steps:
1. In the Admin> Application Customization, select the appropriate Object and go into the Object Field Setup.
2. Edit the field called "My_Check_Box" and enter a Field Validation expression so it uses the following expression:
=[<bMy_Check_Box_ITAG>] AND NOT([<AccountType>] IS NULL AND [<bMy_Check_Box_ITAG >]='Y')
3. Enter an explicit error message.
This expression means that when the checkbox field is checked, the Account Type becomes required. Your custom error message will be raised when checking the checkbox, leaving the account type unpopulated and trying to save the account record.
4. Edit the Account Type field and enter the following expression as Field Validation:
=[<AccountType>] AND NOT([<AccountType>] IS NULL AND [<bMy_Check_Box_ITAG >]='Y')
5. Enter an explicit error message.
That validation handles the user case where a user changes the Account Type value from a NOT NULL value to a NULL value. Your custom error message will be raised when emptying out the account type from a populated value to nothing while the checkbox is checked and trying to save the account record.
Note that the expression in both fields validations begins with the field variable on which the statement is being written.** -

What I am using:
I am working with a multidimensional database in Visual Studio 2010 using its Data source view and calculation member and dimension usage.
What I want to do:
I have a fact table that has five columns(leg(s),hand(s), Head and body,overall) that shows the category of how severe the injury is. Let say for the records all columns never have an empty value(no injury is stated with 'No injury' ) . These five columns
are connected with a dimension that has all the available values (Category A-E of injury).The overall has the most severe from the other four columns. I want to create a bar chart with five different measure
values, one for each column, and count the values in those columns.
For example : I have a slicer in the excel and a bar chart and the slicer has all the values of the Category of the injury ( Cat a,Cat B, Cat C, ... Cat E, No injury ) and when i select one of them, lets say
Cat C, the bar chart should update and show how many Cat C each measurement column has.
Example FACT table:
ID LEG HAND HEAD BODY OVERALL
1 No A No No A
2 No D C C C
3 E C D A A
4 E E B C B
So if i selected C the bar chart will count (Leg = 0, Hand = 1, Head = 1, body = 2 and Overall = 1).
Any ideas ?
