Does any Implemented SAP FIORI in ECC + Gateway Server

Hi Folks,
Does any one implemented SAP FIORI Apps in below scenario where ECC (ODdata components) in Sand box and Gatewayserver (UI Components) Sand box as separate machines?
We have configured Odata component (gbapp_poapproval) in ECC, and UI Component (ui5_mm_po_apv) in Netwevaer Gate way server.
Now Services got activated in Both Machines
We getting an error as "No service found for namespace GBAPP_POAPPROVAL, version 0001." while we run the application through Browser.
Do we need to install GBAPP_POAPPROVAL component also in Netweaver gateway server?

Hi Naresh,
That is exactly you need to understand Gateway runtime architecture. Take your time for understanding big picture first, then move to how to setp.
OData model provider class and data provider class are on ERP.
You have to register ERP side OData services on Gateway server as proxy. It is the transaction /iwfnd/maint_service. To select service from ERP backend, you have to specify backend system alias.
Your system environment makes confusions.
+ You have Gateway components on Gateway server but you have also Gateway component on ERP
+ You have registered the OData service on ERP instead of Gateway. It is incorrect setting for Hub deployment.

Sap Fiori setup with Mock server

HI all,
I am new to SAP FIORI, trying to setup a FIORI project with Mock server this is working fine but results are not displaying in view.
for mock server/data setup I have followed the link http://www.spyvee.com/saphtml5/docs/guide/MockData.html . For Project setup used below ODATA service. http://services.odata.org/Northwind/Northwind.svc/$metadata
Copy and paste the metadata.xml file and Product.json file in model folder inside WebContent folder as suggested by above link.
while running the project in any browser I am getting below error

Hi, the error you see in the browser console is because the MockServer looks for Product.json file in the model folder. If you don't have a Product.json file in the model folder then ignore the error.

Does any one know how to fix a server problem ?

I use a MacBook Pro, operating system is Yosemite 10.10.2. When I click on Safari I get a message that Safari can't connect to the internet. Theres a long pause and then sometimes it connects. FIori Application on Portal, does we need gateway server?

Hi All
My company starting SAP FIORI implementation.
Upgradation of gateway server on 740 going on.
Also
same time upgrading Portal from 7.0 to 740.
Also
i heard about FLP on EP.
So
My question
1) it is possible to implement SAP FIORi apps on portal? (might be yes)
So
2) Does we need gateway server for this?

if SAP provide ESS MSS (sca) packages for Portal.
Why not sca file for SAP FIORI apps. so not need gateway server.
might be for security resion.

How to get Approver text in SAP Fiori

Hi All, We have implemented SAP Fiori for Purchase Requisition approval. Every thing is working fine. When I click on approve or Reject button to take action, I am getting a popup to add approver's note. Its option only. Even if I enter, it's not getting stored in Purchase Requisition. Could some one help me in getting the approval note back. How and where should I go and check to get the approver note. Regards, Sasi

Hi Masa, Thanks for your answer. I found other way While debugging in Class CL_GBAPP_APV_PR_API Method SET_DECISION_RELEASE I found the system was trying to check for text id as 'B08'. But as we don't have any text id created with 'B08', comment was not stored any where in SAP. Hence I have created new text id 'B08' in SE75 transaction under text object 'EBAN'. This has added the new text it to PR screen automatically and I can able to see the approval comments in PR transaction without any BADI implementation. Regards, Sasi

I am getting the following error in Track purchase order fiori Application.
This problem happen when I am searching a Purchase order(PO) number in the left panel and it's not able to find that PO number. It is giving error as mentioned below.
Issue:2
we have created some PR(purchase requisition) and from that we create some PO. So ideally that should appear in Track purchase order Apps. But it was not showing directly in the screen. If i use the filter option in the left panel to 7 days then also its is not coming.
But when I search particular PO number which i created today in the left panel search box its give that PO details and works fine then.
Issue:3
we have created a Purchase order through purchase requisition and get delivered in ECC. The status of delivered is not changing.
Can you please help me on this.All the issues are mentioned for Track Purchase order Fiori App.

SAP Fiori Wave 7 Launchpad is blank

I have recently activated all the standard Odata and Sicf Services required to implement SAP Fiori wave 7 apps.
I tried to access the Launchpad of Fiori, but I am getting a blank page.
When I traced I got the below error in screenshot:
Similar error I get in transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG.

Decimal Notation IDR Currency on SAP Fiori

Dear Expert,
I had trouble with decimal notation on SAP Fiori. While I look My Spend on SAP Fiori, amount is different in ECC SAP with decimal notation.
In SAP Fiori : 98.130 IDR
In ECC SAP : 9.813.000 IDR
That's different on SAP Fiori and ECC SAP. I want amount in my Spend on SAP Fiori same with Amount in ECC SAP. I think SAP Fiori still pick the table (WRBTR) before calculate *100 with currency IDR, because ECC SAP automatic calculate *100 when IDR Currency.
( I think SAP Fiori like this piture, because it pick WRBTR table, and i want SAP Fiori pick Table in G/L Amount on ECC SAP)
How to solve this in SAP Fiori?

If I change decimal place of currency code IDR on OY04, it will change value on ECC SAP. It's mean like on SAP Fiori and ECC SAP same 98.130 but it's wrong. I want in SAP Fiori same with amount on ECC SAP, IDR 9.8130.000. I think SAP Fiori still pick the table before calculate *100. How to solve it?

Hi Team,
i have created new post.
SAP Fiori getting error message Check the URL parameters and the scenario definition. To check the scenario definition.
Scenario definition configuration screen short.
2) Also getting bellow error message

Did not find error details

SAP Fiori Purchase Order not getting any data & getting a 404 Error Message

Hi
I have downloaded Purchase Order SAPUI5 code from SAP Fiori server. import it into Eclipse then try to run that Apps/code(SAPUI5) from browser.
1) Not getting any Data.
2) It show 404 Error Message.
3) Its show wrong User Name as Login

First question :
Are you able to get the data in Fiori ?
Secondly,
You have mentioned as Purchase order, but here you have given snapshot of Purchase requisition app, and you are calling also purchase req app from the browser. Please clarify
If you have mistakenly written PO : If you are still not getting data for Approve Purc req, then check if your RFC connections are proper from Gateway to backend and backend to Gateway.
If RFC is working fine, check the Remote logon, it should be marked as Current user. If its not marked as current user, then it will show some other user.

SAP Fiori: Version Management for SAP Gateway Enhanced Services & SAP UI5 Application

Hello Experts,
Greetings!!
I would like to check how version control is achieved for SAP Fiori app extensions. Or while enhancing the SAP UI5 applciation or enhancing a SAP netweaver gateway backend service for Fiori App.
I would appreciate your inputs. Thanks in Advance.

For front end SAPUI5 CODE in Elipse or RIVER RDE you can use GIT which is pretty standard way of doing code management. Once you push the code to GW it is in BSP and then you dont have much control on the version management side. If there are multiple developers working on front end code then you can push to GW using ABAP Team Provider plugin in Eclipse that pushes the sapui5 code to BSP via workbench request and once 1 developer is done then he/she will submit the code. the next person then does the GET from GW into their Eclipse to get the latest version of source code. But if there are 10 changes to the sapui5 code then on front end side you should use GIT or BitBucket or MS Team Share kind of source code control tools that integrate with ECLIPSE.
For oData Service you can do version management in ABAP stacks. you can have multiple versions for your service and then deploy to prod the one that you are sure of. Std change management can be used for backend GW service development.
