Does anyone know if I can print to hp photosmart 5510 from my 1st generation ipad if I can't download the drivers for the printer?
Am trying to set up an HP Photosmart printer and it is proving much more complicated than I'd expected. I don't seem to be able to download to my ipad from the HP website - does anyone know how I manage to print, or get my ipad to recognidse the printer, if I've no printer software downloaded?

You can't download drivers, or any other software, via a browser on the iPad. If the printer isn't the HP Photosmart 5510 e-AiO B111a which supports AirPrint, and it also isn't supported by HP's ePrint app, then you can see if any of the third-party printer apps such as Print Central For iPad or Print n Share work with it.

It's all or nothing. You can to selectively get notifications for one account and not the others. As for g-mail, how do you have it set up? If it's not set to poll automatically, or set up as push (as an Exchange account), then you won't be notified until you maually open the mail client and pull it down.

I know the importance of saving and updating your contacts. What type of phone do you have? If you are using Backup Assistant, you have the ability to sync the contacts between your laptop and phone. You will also be able to see if all your contacts are stored on the online portion of the application versus the phone itself. The contacts should be the same for both online and the phone.

Try downloading and using VLC. It is a very popular media player that plays just about every file format out there. That way you would not need to convert it.

Whoever you talked to at Orange was completely wrong. Only Orange can unlock the iPhone.

Ok, so I wrote a bunch of data to a Seagate ST2000DL003 3.5 inch 2TB Hard Drive - mac formatted - then put it into a PC and it couldn't read the drive. But when I plugged the drive back into the mac pro the drive was unreadable/corrupt. Does anyone know what's happened and is this data recoverable?
Use Disk Utility "Repair Disk" and see what it says. It may be trivial and easily fixable.

My iphone 4 is about a month old ad it continues to send multiple repeat texts message to the point where I have stop sending texts because everyone is annoyed with me, is there a solution that anyone knows of? I am hearing from sprint that it is apple's issue and from apple it is a sprint issue. They said I can take it to the store but its one month old and I find it hard to beleive that they do not have an easier solutions, i dont have time to or the patience to give up my phone for three days. thank youIt is a sprint issue and other carriers have that same problem. I get multiple copies of texts from other carriers all the time to my iphone. It isn't the iphone, it is the carrier sending the text message several times because they haven't received and ack message from the recepient.
