Does iweb generate code on upload?

I know this has been treated extensively, but I cannot seem to find a text editor...Taco, Text edit, transit, even Dreamweaver that will display the html code fully from my index page. In order to edit the code I have to download it from the server in order to see it all. Taco etc only displays a fraction. Has anyone else this problem?
Its as if iweb is generating code upon uploading. Makes for editing a laborious task. Any solutions please?
PS I have done the preferences bit in text edit to see the code...it still just dislplays what appears to be a summary.

Here are some basic instructions for making html changes after publishing in iWeb:
1. Type a placeholder in place of where you want the item to go. i.e. CODEGOESHERE or something like that. Publish your site via iWeb
2. Find your html files.
Go to iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/Sitename/Pagename.html
(If you publish to a folder, look in the folder you selected or try looking in your Sites folder of your home folder. )
There are two ways to handle accessing your iDisk.
Method 1:
Turn on local copy of your iDisk in System Prefs, with or without automatic syncing.
If you publish your site via iWeb, now the updated pages exist online but the old pages are on your local iDisk. You need to sync (automatically or manually) to get the new pages on your local iDisk (on your computer).
Then you can open the updated files, make your html changes in Text Edit or whatever program, and SYNC AGAIN (automatically or manually) to update the online version of the site to match what you have just changed on your local iDisk
Method 2:
Mount the iDisk when needed via the "Go" menu in Finder. This is the ONLINE VERSION of your iDisk, not a local copy. When you publish your site via iWeb, the changes INSTANTLY appear on the iDisk on your desktop. If you make html edits or other changes, they appear INSTANTLY online.
I recommend Method 2 - much easier!!!
3. Make the html changes.
You can open the html files generated by iWeb in any text or html editor. In TextEdit, to view the code in an HTML file, choose File > Open and select "Ignore rich text commands." Then locate the .html file (as described in step 2) and click Open.
Make your changes (i.e. replace CODEGOESGERE with your code!) and don't forget to save your changes (not Save As, just Save)!!!
4. Remember, if you make a change to a page like this post-publishing, and later re-publish, you have to make the html changes again! Set up a Find/Replace command in MassReplaceIt and you can do this very quickly. You can save your queries so you can make all of your changes with one click the next time you save.

Does iWeb place a limit on the size of jpeg that can be uploaded? I'm putting large MB jpegs on site and they are being compressed down to kp. My site is not doing this.

Does iWeb place a limit on size of jpeg that can be uploaded to server? I'm placing large mb jpeg files and they are showing up on web as kb files. My provider does not put any size limit on what I upload. Is it iWeb?

Here is the problem, I've done this, set the right settings in iWeb as indicated above and yet the images are still small images. Is there a cache in iWeb that may need to be cleaned out or a setting somewhere messing me up.
I normally put web size images however for this one album I need them to be full size.
Any other help full suggestions? I appreciate all your help. I'm guessing there is something simple I'm missing.

Designerd does not generate Order BY code for Sort Order on a lookup tabel column.

I am setting the Sort Order on a column which is based on a lookup table.
When generate the the module, designer does not generate the code for the Sort Order that I set on the lookup table column.
Is there a work around for this problem or is there some thing else that needs to be done in designer to make it generate the order by clause?
I will very much appreciate help.

A bound lookup item, will be generated as a NON-database item in Forms. Designer generates an ORDER BY CLAUSE (a Forms Block property) for the ordering. But a NON-database item cannot be included in the ORDER BY CLAUSE.
I used a stored function for ordering the lookup item.

Is ther a way to create the same behavior under matrixx7 when -procs option is used?

These wrappers were separated into different templates. What you would need to do is to run the templates that you need. You can find these templates in the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MATRIXx\mx_71.4\case\ACC\templates folder.

How long is a piece of string? There are so many variables it is impossible to say for sure, how many graphics, videos, what broadband speed you have all have to be taken into account. Why don't you try it and tell us the answer.

Does iWeb need to upload a file that is already on my iDisk?

I already have a very large movie file on my iDisk that I had uploaded for a purpose other than including on an iWeb site. I'm wondering if I can now include this movie on a web page created with iWeb without having to upload the large file a second time. Can iWeb "point" to a file already on my iDisk. This is how the old HomePage system worked previously, and it made sense to me. I am happy to let iWeb upload my files usually, but in the case of this particular movie I have already uploaded it. Seems silly if I have to upload it again with iWeb, in which case I would want to remove the copy of the file that is already on my iDisk.
Anyone familiar with this scenario?

There isn't any way to do this directly in iWeb... If you dragged the same movie onto several different pages, I'm pretty certain that iWeb would upload separate copies to be included with each page's files. Obviously this is never optimum.
A couple of different options for you...
1. Just provide a hyperlink to the original PAGE where the QT movie is displayed. This is probably very obvious and will not work in your grand plan.
2. Provide an external hyperlink to the original QT movie file. When clicked on, a new blank page would open and the QT movie would play in that browser window. This generally works and is very easy to do, although I know that QuickTime Kirk would have a cow (haha...just kidding...wink...wink...) to hear me recommend it.
3. Make a dummy QT movie of the same dimensions as your intended QT movie. Maybe use a single black frame or something. Plunk it down on your iWeb page. Then publish. After publishing find the page.js file in the "page_files" folder and replace the references to the dummy QT movie file with the location of your original QT movie. Complex....but I think this should work. Another downside...you'll have to edit the .js file again in the future if you change the page significantly because your edited references will be overwritten.
Let me know what you think. I'm sure others will chime in as well.

Does iWeb support the uploading/downloading of files

I believe at one time, iWeb would support the upload and download of files from the mobileme account. I don't see anything like that in the templates. Am I correct in assuming it was there at one time and now it has disappeared?

It's still there.
This is how you do it.
Select something on your iWeb page you want to use as the hyperlink. (for example the words "link to file")
In the Link Inspector window check the box "enable as hyperlink" then select "Link to a file", then choose the file you want to link to. Publish, that's it. If you want the file to automatically open on the downloaders computer, then zip it first and select the zipped file to link to.

QuickTime on a PC can't open WMP formats.
All you can do is use "link to file" to upload your .wmv file.

Cancellation document does not generate Accounting document

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue that when a Billing document is getting cancelled through workflow ,the billing document does not generate a accounting document .I tried debugging the issue to check it but could not find the root cause of the issue.
In the code we are using 'BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CANCEL1 to cancel the billing document.
How to find that the accounting documents are getting generated from the corresponding billing documents correctly.

First of all, are you able to create S1 type cancellation document after you call the BAPI? If you are not even able to generate the cancel document, perhaps you are missing committing the BAPI after calling it by using BAPT_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
Also are you able to create cancellation and accounting document by calling the BAPI through a test ABAP program? First check it out before using it in your workflow.

Another quick one. I'm raising these quick-fire questions here because Adobe have declined to suggest a better place to raise them, other than as comments on one of their blog entries. Well that was Ram's suggestion (which I don't think is terribly-well thought out). He declined to react to my suggestion that the Adobe ColdFusion forums might be a good place. Anit suggested Twitter or just emailing him, but I think there'd be public interest in this stuff, so don't want to resort to email.
As I'm the master of what goes on on this blog: I'll clutter this thing up.
Say I want to have a mix of "normal" CFML and <cfclient>-based CFML in the same file. I can only presume the intent is to allow this, otherwise having <cfclient> as a tag rather than just a file extension seems like a poor approach. Obviously if one can have a start tag and an end tag, then code can come before (and I guess after) the <cfclient> tags themselves.
So I'd expect this to work:

However all I get is an error in JS:
Uncaught ReferenceError: message is not defined variablesScopeVariable.cfm:4
And, indeed, the only mention of message in the JS source is the one that's erroring (as it's on the right-hand side of an assignment).
So I thought perhaps <cfclient> worked like <cfthread> and I needed to pass attributes into it:

This doesn't compile:
Attribute validation error for the client tag.
The tag does not have an attribute called message. The valid attribute(s) are ''.
ColdFusion cannot determine the line of the template that caused this error.This is often caused by an error in the exception handling subsystem.
Note also there's an error in the error message itself. It's not the <client> tag, it's the <cfclient> tag.
Rightio then, so I tried just using the request scope instead (the code's the same as the variables-scoped example, except using the request scope). No dice: same JS error.
As a last ditch effort, I just tried to see if <cfclient> was aware of anything going on around it, by passing a value on the URL, and seeing if <cfclient> saw that, eg:
<cfclient> <cfoutput>#URL.message#</cfoutput> </cfclient>
This behaved differently from the variables- / request- scoped examples, in that I didn't get a JS error, I just got this on the screen:

And no JS error. It pains me to have to do this, but let's look at the generated JS to see why the behaviour is different:

The only significant difference (other than function names, based on the file names) between this and the URL-scoped example is the indicated line above is replaced by this in the URL example:

So it's like it's trying to do the right thing, but just failing. I thought it might be because CF does stupid thinks with scope-key casing, and changed the <cfclient> code to expect URL.MESSAGE not URL.message, but this didn't work either.
So I'm flummoxed. I can't find anything in any documentation which might point me in the right direction, so anyone know what the story is here?

So you're saying you did not provide a mechanism for transferring the variables from the server-side part of a file's code to the client side part? Is this not a bit of an oversight?
And what - in your mind - is the point of having a file with blocks of both normal CFML, and then a <cfclient> block, then more CFML, then another <cfclient> block (for example) if the code cannot interact?

Auto generated code in makefile

For our product we have a TCL script that reads a series of text files and generates C++ classes for easy access to database records. Our code has been in use for make years and works very well. We have always used a solaris command prompt dmake to compile, which first generates the C++ files then complies them. It uses a series of enviroment variables which a user must set before compilation.
I recently tried to create a Sun Studio Express based on NetBeans 6.5.rc1 project from a make file. This has worked for every other makefile except for this one. The others do not have any auto generated code.
To run sun studio I in a command prompt source in the environments then run netbeans. Then I choose to build the product but I get an error. I then try to copy the command it is running into telnet window and it works fine. Does anyone have an idea on why in the sun studio I get and error while the telnet window works fine.

I think the problem is that the SunStudio IDE runs the build command in a wrong directory.
Can you verify that the working directory is correct?
(it is in project properties: Build > Make)
Also you can find this directory in the message in the output, when you try to build the project.
That's the message, that you copied to the terminal window.

How to use generated code from "Import Web Services" with Cairngorm Framework

I recently downloaded Flex Builder 3 beta 2 and tried out the
wizard that lets you import web services. The code that is
auto-generated makes if fairly straight forward to consume web
services using the object types defined in the WSDL. No longer does
the developer need to decode the XML payload! The only problem I am
having is how does you integrate the auto- generated code with the
Cairngorm framework? This seems like a huge question for anyone who
might want to leverage Cairngorm and the auto-generated proxy code
in the same project (like me).
Here are the problems that I see so far.
1) How do you configure the generated service class to work
with the Cairngorm service locator? The service constructor only
accepts a “LCDS destination string” which implies that
you must use Lifecycle data services. Unfortunately, the project I
am trying to retrofit currently uses a WebService and does not use
data services. All I really need to do is change the endpoint URL
(ie from local to a development server). This issue is noted in the
bug https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-8456. What I think is
needed is a way to set the endpointURI in the Services.mxml file.
2) Even if I come up with a hack around #1, I do not receive
a callback to my IResponder even though I register it immediately
after the method call. I can register and listener function within
my business delegate and receive the callback, but my Command
object, which implements IResponder, does not receive the call back
even though it is registered. From what I read in the ASDocs it
should but it doesn’t for me!
These are the issues I have observed in 3 hours of messing
with this. I hope this makes sense. I would love to integrate
auto-generated web service proxies into Cairngorm but I don’t
see a straight forward way without re-architecting Cairngorm. Has
any one else run across this issue? If so, do you have any insights
on how to proceed? Any help is appreciated.

Since I posted this question, I have abandoned the notion of
auto-generated web services and embraced the good old FDS concept
where the RemoteObject meta-tag does all the conversion work for
me. We are now using the Granite DS package and it is working well
for us. I would love to consume web services, but it just isn't
worth the hassle when all you have to do with Granite (and FDS) is
cast your return objects to the proper object type.
BTW, since this posting, I have investigated competing Flex
app frameworks. After my research, I checked out the PureMVC
framework. Wow!! Cairngorm always left me with an uneasy feeling
and I guess I am not alone. Apparently, Cliff Hall felt the same
way. That is why he started the project. I like his approach alot
more than Cairngorm especially since it includes notifications
which allow me to broadcast my own app level events independent
from the AS Event framework. Check out PureMVC. For what it is
worth, it has my humble endorsement. Cliff was even gracious enough
to acknowledge the other Adobe Consulting guys for their work. Good

Your pgm is not passing anything in obj_descr in packing list for excel file. If you pass a name your excel file will have that.

The RFUMSV50 program does not generate transfer lines of deferred VAT

The RFUMSV50 program does not generate transfer lines of deferred VAT ,
The context is the following one:
Code VAT Created with code target VAT, general account of VAT also created,
Rule of deferred VAT created and activated for the company code in question, with marks to compensate for check.
The data of tests are the following ones:
Creation of an invoice via the FB60,
Integral payment of the invoice via F-53,
Creation of the confirmation of the operation in bank via the manual statement FF67,
Clearing of the intermediate banking account with the bank account via F-03.
After all these elements, by executing the RFUMSV50 program, I have nothing in result.
There somebody who had the same problem, could help us?

Service Tax credit cannot be utilized unless the Vendor Invoice is Paid. This is the reason till the payment is done the service tax Amount will be accumulated in deferred tax account and once the invoice is paid the balance in deferred tax is need to be transferred to respective Service Tax , Educational Cess and higher Education Cess account. There can be various business scenarios for full and Partial Payment to facilitates the transfer of such deferred balance to respective account SAP has come up with some new standard program RFUMSV50 instead of RFUMSV25. To overcome the limitation of this program i.e. not able to take care of more than one tax line item, below the solution is provided with scenarios “Full Payment is made to Vendor Invoice”.
