Does not compile why ???

Question

Hi all,
Below is the sample program,I am trying to compile and it throws
me an error
D:\sample>javac SomeClass.java
     SomeClass.java:13: ')' expected.
     anotherMethod(Hashtable ht);
     ^
1 error
can somebody in the forum help me compile this program .

System.out.println("This is anotherMethod \n");

You need to use the variable type only when you introduce the variable. After the variable has been introduced you can (and must) simply use its name, like this:    anotherMethod(ht);
