Does OCSPChecker handle multiple responses yet?

I have been trying to get DavMail java application to access an Exchange server that requires the use of OCSP. I have not been able to get it to work. In my research, I have found references to a bug that the OCSP procedure handles only the first response from the OCSP server and so probably returns a fail if multiple responses are received.
Several bug reports on this indicate that this is fixed, but a later bug report indicates that it is not. Does anyone know which it is?
Thanks

Found out that the answer is YES.

  • How does mediator handle multiple responses

    I have a mediator that routes the same message to two BPEL processes. When the two processes return, they send back different responses. Which response will the mediator route back to the original caller?
    I can't see how one can combine them, because they may return at different times, and they may be different. If someone knows how to combine them, that would be great.
    If it can't be combined, is it time based, the first BPEL response is used or the last response is used?
    Thanks!

    thanks for the pointer. This is what the guide says:
    If you have multiple routing rules having request-response
    interaction, then the routing rules that send the response back to
    the initial caller, should precede other routing rules, if any, that
    forward the response.
    So the first response will be used.

    how to handle thi situation.is there a way to handle?

  • How does Disco handle multiple hierarchies in dimension from OWB?

    Hi,
    I have a ROLAP cube developed with OWB. All the dimensions have only one hierarchy at the moment. I derive the EUL from this cube.
    One of the dimensions now need another hierarchy. Does anyone know how Discoverer handles multiple hierarchies in a dimension? How would you be able to choose which hierachy to use in a Disco worksheet? Can you actually use multiple hierarchies or only the hierachy set as the default?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Yes, you can set up multiple hierarchies in Discoverer for the same EUL items. When you drill down you have the option to select which hierarchy you use.

  • How does FF handle multiple ip addresses on the device?

    Hi
    I was wondering if someone could point me at documentation or explain how FF handles the situation where the device has multiple IP addresses ie an Ethernet card and a wireless card active at the same time and with different networks associated with each device. How does FF decide which interface to use and is there someway of making it use a particular interface always...
    tia
    nava

    Windows Vista and 7 give priority to the wired Network. So if you have Wireless and Wired connected, Windows will (by default) use the wired. Firefox uses what Windows does, so it will also use the Wired network. The only way that I know of to force Firefox to use one network over the other is to disconnect or disable the unwanted network. But this sort of thing is primarily handled through the OS, not Firefox.
    Also, you should update to Firefox 11, as Firefox 9 has some pretty big security holes that have been patched in 11.

  • Basic Question: How does serialization handle multiple references?

    Hello, I am not entirely sure how serialiazation works.
    class Employee implements Serializable {
    // properties and stuff here
    class Company implements Serializable {
    public ArrayList allPeople = new ArrayList(); // this holds a bunch of Employee objects
    public ArrayList somePeople = new ArrayList(); // this holds a bunch of Employee objects
    Company company = new Company();
    Employee jsmith = new Employee();
    company.allPeople.add(jsmith);
    company.somePeople.add(jsmith);
    ok, so my question is... if we serialize the Company object and then deserialize it back to company2 (another Company object) . In company2 will allPeople.get(0) and somePeople.get(0) point to the same physical Employee object? Or to 2 identical ones?

    If you talk about serialization over one stream, then yes both references to the object will be the same. If you serialize data to serveral files and later read them in you will get multiple instances unless you implement a readResolve() to handle it.
    Its all in the serialization white paper. So go read the documentation.

    Hello,
    Check below mapping and change it as per ur source (response) and target (content) fields.
    Note - In below mapping i have used return as xml functionality on Record node, u have to use the same on ur source field.
    After implementing above mapping, just execute ur E2E scenario and check how content is getting generated in ur mail?

  • Does a filter instance handle multiple requests?

    A web container creates a thread to handle each request so that a servlet instance handles multiple requests at the sime time. What about a filter instance? Does a filter instance also handles
    multiple requests? or it handles only one at a time

    Here's a quote from the Servlet spec (2.3):
    After deployment of the web application, and before a request causes the container
    to access a web resource, the container must locate the list of filters that must be
    applied to the web resource as described below. The container must ensure that it
    has instantiated a filter of the appropriate class for each filter in the list, and called its
    init(FilterConfig config) method..............
    Only one instance per filter declaration in the deployment descriptor is
    instantiated per Java virtual machine of the container.
    So, if the servlet engine follows the spec, there should only be one instance.

  • Getting Started with Swept Sine (DAQmx) Multiple Response Signals

    Hi,
    I've been using the modified version of the Getting started with swept sine.vi for multiple response signals
    https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-24474. Program fully suitable.
    However, I am facing with three issues :
    1) The edits are highly non user friendly (horrible for 6 multi-channel already), and quite long to perform.
    2) Would there be a way using for loops to have a more compact and flexible way to use FRF? (Calling 6 times the same program in a similar structure does not quite seem like a smart move yet I'm relatively novice in LabVIEW).
    3) Be able to set the number of channels somewhere in the software, and automatically have the software to be able to cope with this? (aka if 20 multichannels are needed, no need to modify the code?)
    It's probably going to be a lot of work to get there, all I'm asking for you guys is to point me in the right direction and suggestions,

  • File To Proxy : Handle the response from ECC to send mail without BPM

    Hi,
    Scenario: FILE To Proxy
    Requirement: We are receiving xml acknowledgement file from bank with IDoc number and status in SAP PI and the file is used to send the status number, message and and IDoc number to ECC. After request is received in ECC BAPI is executed to update the original status of outbound IDOC.
    There would be multiple records in file and PI will send all IDoc acknowledgement to ECC to update the IDoc status.
    Issue: Since PI send all records to ecc, if any single IDoc status update is failing in ECC how would it can be communicated to support.
    ECC can send success or error response in proxy but how we can use the same in PI to send mail to support. Or is there any better error handling we can go for in such scenario.
    Thanks,
    Vertika

    Hi everyone
    thanks for response.
    Interface 1: IDoc (ECC) to File (Bank) --> Done
    Interface 2: Acknowledgment File (Bank) to BAPI (ECC) where BAPI will update the status of IDoc sent in first interface.
    For Interface 2 : PI will receive file from Bank with multiple records i.e multiple IDoc numbers and their status. PI will invoke proxy to send the IDoc number and status number (eg 16) for all the records together. Now if BAPI fails to update status of any single IDoc in that file how support team will know that the particular record is failed. To handle this error ECC is saying they can send Error and Success back to PI. But the problem is how we can use that response in PI in the same interface to send emails to support team. Bank does not want any response back in this case. This is just to ensure proper error handling since this is bank related interface.
    Splitting the interface in two interfaces will definitely help. But is there some way which can be used in same interface and based on error response from ECC mail is triggered.
    If any one has better suggestion for such kind of error handling, please post the same.
    Thanks,
    Vertika

  • How to handle multiple clients with DatagramSocket

    I am trying to handle multiple clients with 1 datagramSocket bind to one port (basically I have only one port to use, and I can not use TCP or any other ports). At the server side I have two threads one for receiving packets and buffering them, another for processing the packets in the buffer and sending replies.
    I can have multiple clients sending datagramPackets to me and I will have to process the packets and send them to DIFFERENT clients. Ex. Client 1 sends datagramPacket to Server which sends the processed packet to Client 2. Also Client 2 sends a datagramPacket to Server which again processes the packet and sends it to Client1. May have Client 3 and 4 doing the same thing at the same time... and so on...
    My root class is creating the datagramSocket(somePort) and two threads (receiver and sender). How can I use the socket that I created in these two threads??
    I have done the following and I am getting "java.net.bindexception". When I am sending stuff from Client1 to Client2 everything is fine but when I start sending something from Client2 to Client 1, I get the bindexception... Client 1 is using port 3000, Client 2 is using port 4000.
    I really don't have a lot of experience in socket programming so I am not sure if there is a much simpler way to do this. I appreciate all the tips and help that I can get...
    Thanks...
    class UDP_serv
         static DatagramSocket udpSocket;
         final static int SERVER_PORT     = 2000;
         public static void main(String[] args) throws SocketException
              udpSocket= new DatagramSocket(SERVER_PORT);
              new DataReceiver().start ();
              new DataSender().start ();
         static class DataReceiver extends Thread
              DataReceiver()
                   Thread.currentThread().setName("DataReceiver");
              public void run()
                   while (true)
                        byte pckt[] = new byte [MaxMsgSize];
                        DatagramPacket dp = new DatagramPacket (pckt, pckt.length);
                        try
                             udpSocket.receive (dp);
                             //PUSH TO RECEIVE BUFFER
                        catch(Exception e)
                             e.printStackTrace();
         static class DataSender extends Thread
              DataSender()
                   Thread.currentThread().setName("DataSender");
              public void run()
                   while (true)
                        processDataMsg();
          static void processDataMsg()
             DatagramPacket op;
             InetAddress DA = null;
             int DP = 0;
             byte [] outPacket = null;
             // POP FROM RECEIVE BUFFER
             // SOME PROCESSING HERE
             // Set Destination Address (DA)
             // Set Destination Port (DP)
             // DA and DP are the forwarding IP and Port addresses
             // not the addresses original packet was sent from.
             try
              op = new DatagramPacket (outPacket, outPacket.length,DA, DP);
              udpSocket.send(op);
             catch (IOException e)
              e.printStackTrace();
    }Also for development and testing purposes, I am running the two clients and the server on the same machine (windows xp-32b) so all of the Destination IP Addresses are 127.0.0.1. and as I said Ports that I am using are 2000, 3000, 4000 (Server, Client1, Client2).

    Hmm I have minimized the code and it seems to be working now.
    I think I have an error in the header portion of the data I am sending, where I am storing the source IP/Port and destination IP/Port. I think the server in the middle is messing these values up while sending them to the destination Client. Because the destination client actually receives the stuff and sends the reply back to the server, but the reply packet's headers has 0/0 as the dest IP / Port...
    Server is giving me java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address error when it tries to forward the reply it received from the client2 as the address it is trying to send is 0!
    I guess it doesnt just give this error when you try to open two sockets to the same port...
    Paul, Thanks for the direction on how to proceed... took me a while get the minimized code but at least figured out the problem. Well still have to make sure that is THE problem though :)
    As far as the statics goes how can I change those to non static ones? Where do I make an instance of the top level class that creates the threads? and how do I pass the DatagramSocket to the threads/ if I dont need to pass how do I call or use the datagramSocket I created in the top level class? I mean do I still kinda have it like a global variable on the top?? A very simple example would be much appreciated...
    I think these might be really basic questions but I am having a rough time with the hierarchy in java...

  • How to handle multiple exception types in JSF 2?

    I'm trying to handle multiple exception types in JSF2, including a default error page for any unexpected exception types. The problems I'm having are:
    1) ViewExpiredException is handled only when no generic exception handler is specified
    2) "Regular" exceptions like NullPointerException are never handled

    Is your data model right? If you are adding in one and deleting in another it sounds to me more like a process that an entity, in which case you may revisit your data model and simplify it, add in a session bean with the process method to co-ordinate between the two.
    However, if you want to map multiple different tables within a single entity bean it is possible and just part of the mapping. How you actualyl specify it depends on which implementation you are working with.
    Cheers,
    Peter.

  • How to handle multiple requests to the same servlet at one time?

    Hi,
    I am new to Servlets. I have doubt regarding ... Handling multiple requests to a servlet at a time.
    If we send a single request to a servlet, as know that group of objects such as servlet, servletContext, servletConfig, request, response and etc are created in the server, And if 1000's of requests are sent to a same servlet at a time, and if server memory capacity is less, then 1000's of objects are created in a server which would be heavy burden to Server. How to handle the application and development in such situation?
    Kind regards,
    veerendra

    Hi veerendra reddy ,
    By default any web server can will have a thread pool to handle client req's.
    In your point also heavy burden to server you are telling that depends on this.
    we can configure this min & max size of this thread pool.
    by default it will be 0-1000 for tomcat server.
    I am not sure in which file this configuration will be.
    But I hope in server.xml or some xml file consists this info.
    If You what you can edit accordingly. to overcome your heavy burden to server.
    Thanks & Regards
