Doubt in coding to get idoc no

Hi ,
i want to get corresponding idoc no s for delivery nos
     I understood the logic of how to get the idoc no for particular delivery no.but unable to code it exactly.
Message type is desadv
Idoc type is delvry03.
Segment name is E1EDL20
can u write me the code exactly
Here is sample code.
tables:edid4,edidc,likp.
types:begin of ty_likp,
      vbeln type vbeln_vl, "delivery no
end of ty_likp.
data:it_likp type table of ty_likp,
     wa_likp type ty_likp.
types:begin of ty_edidc,
      DOCNUM type EDI_DOCNUM,
      MESTYP type EDI_MESTYP,
      IDOCTP type EDI_IDOCTP,
end of ty_edidc.
data:it_edidc type table of ty_edidc,
     wa_edidc type ty_edidc.
types:begin of ty_edid4,
      DOCNUM type EDI_DOCNUM,
      sdata type EDI_SDATA,
      segnam type edi_segnam,
end of ty_edid4.
data:it_edid4 type table of ty_edid4,
     wa_edid4 type ty_edid4.
select DOCNUM
        mestyp
        idoctp
        from
        edidc into table it_edidc
        where mestyp = 'DESADV'
        AND IDOCTP = 'DELVRY03'.
(here I get idoc no after this how to code to get corresponding idoc nos for delivery nos)
after this can u code how to get the idoc no for particular delivery no like
how to link sdata and delivery no
how to get tht offset values

Hi,
after this...try like this
if not it_edidc[] is initial.
select segnam sdata from edid4 into table it_edid4
for all entries in it_edidc
where docnum = it_edidc-docnum.
endif.
now u need to loop ur delivery numbers table and also the internal table it_edid4 and check the segment where ur getting the delivery number.
Loop at it_delivery
Loop at it_edid4.
if it_edid4-segnam = <give the segment name where delivery number exists>.
move : it_edid4-sdata to wa_edid4-sdata.
now check the delivery number with it_delivery-deliveryno.
endf.
endloop.
endloop.

  • Urgent: Doubt in coding a logic

    Hi Experts,
    I have a doubt in coding a logic . The bussiness requirement is that i have to capture a string of alphabets and check for particular alphabet in particular position and then process the rest of the logic.
    the logic is given below , can anyone suggest me coding for this logic .Its very urgent . points will be rewarded.
    Logic:
    If 1st letter is D then
        If 3rd letter of DPVERSION is:
            A --> Asia (like DPA0202)
            C --> EMEA (like DPC0111)
            L --> Latin America LA (like DPL0502)
            N --> North America NA (like DPN0408)
            W --> EMEA (like DPW0207)
            D then
                if 4th letter is:
                    A --> Asia (no example yet)
                    C --> EMEA (no example yet)
                    L --> Latin America LA (no example yet)
                    N --> North America NA (like DPDN01TH)
                    W --> EMEA (like DPDW09TH)
                End If
          End If
    Else if 1st letter is X then:
         If 2nd letter of DPVERSION is:
            A --> Asia (no example yet)
            C --> EMEA (XEHC_RTF)
            L --> Latin America LA (no example yet)
            N --> North America NA (XNFAB_RTF)
            W --> EMEA (no example yet)
        End If
    End If
    Thanks in advance

    Hi, I think you can adopt offset logic.
    assign character value to a variable  like string+2(3) = char
    then use case statement
    case char
    when 'A'
    write ASIA
    when--
    End case.
    Like this u can approach .
    Hope this helps

  • Doubt regarding  ALE SETTINGS in IDOC scenario.

    Hi Friends,
            I have some doubts regarding ALE settings for IDOC scenarios,  can anyone  please clarify my doubts.
    For exmaple take IDOC to FILE scenario
    The knowledge i got from SDN is --
    One need to do at the  R3 side is  --- RFC DESTINATION (SM59)  for the XI system.
                                                       --- TRFC PORT  for sending IDOC  to the  XI system
                                                       --- CREATING LOGICAL SYSTEM
                                                       --- CREATING PARTNER PROFILE
                   at the XI side is  --- RFC  Destination ( For SAP sender system)
                                           --- CREATING  PORT  for receiving IDOC from the SAP sending system(IDX1).
    1. Do we create two logical systems for both Sender ( R3 system ) and Receiver( XI system ) in R3 system itself or in XI system or in both systems we create these logical systems? Is this a mandatory step in doing ALE configurations?
    In IDOC to IDOC scenario-------
      2.  Do we craete two RFC destinations in XI system? One RFC DESTINATION for the Sender R3 system and another RFC DESTINATION for the Receiver R3 System? and do we create RFC DESTINATION for the XI system in receiver R3 system? If not.....y we don't create like this........Please give me some clarity on this.............
      3.  If we use IDOC adapter ,since IDOC adapter resides on the ABAP STACK ,we don't need sender communication channel ,for the similar reason----
    y we r creating receiver communication channel in the case of FILE to IDOC scenario?
      4. Can any one please provide me the ALE settings for IDOC to FILE scenario,
                                                                                    FILE to IDOC scenario,
    IDOC to IDOC scenario individually.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ramana.

    hi,
    1. Yes, we create two logical systems for both Sender ( R3 system ) and Receiver( XI system ) in R3 system itself and
    it is a mandatory step in doing ALE configurations
    2. We create 1 RFC destination each in R3 and XI.
        R3 RFC destination points to Xi and
        XI RFC destination  points to R3
    3 We need to create Communication Channel for Idoc receiver as the receiver channel is always required but sender may not be necessary
    4. ALE settings for all IDOC scenarios are same  as follows....
    Steps for ALE settings:-
    Steps for XI
    Step 1)
         Goto SM59.
         Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
         Give a suitable name and description.
         Give the Ip address of the R3 system.
         Give the system number.
         Give the gateway host name and gateway service (3300 + system number).
         Go to the logon security tab.
         Give the lang, client, username and password.
         Test connection and remote logon.
    Step 2)
         Goto IDX1.
         Create a new port.
         Give the port name.
         Give the client number for the R3 system.
         Select the created Rfc Destination.
    Step 3)
         Goto IDX2
         Create a new Meta data.
         Give the Idoc type.
         Select the created port.
    Steps for R3.
    Step 1)
         Goto SM59.
         Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
         Give a suitable name and description.
         Give the Ip address of the XI system.
         Give the system number.
         Give the gateway host name and gateway service (3300 + system number).
         Go to the logon security tab.
         Give the lang, client, username and password.
         Test connection and remote logon.
    Step 2)
         Goto WE21.
         Create a port under transactional RFC.(R3->XI)
         Designate the RFC destination created in prev step.
    Step 3)
         Goto SALE.
         Basic settings->Logical Systems->Define logical system.
         Create two logical systems(one for XI and the other for R3)

    Step 4)
         Goto WE20.
         Partner type LS.
         Create two partner profile(one for XI the other for R3).
         Give the outbound or inbound message type based on the direction.
    Step 5)
         Goto WE19
         Give the basic type and execute.
         fill in the required fields.
         Goto IDOC->edit control records.
         Give the following values.(Receiver port,partner no.,part type and sender Partner no. and type)
         Click outbound processing.
    Step 6)
         Go to SM58
         if there are any messages then there is some error in execution.
         Goto WE02.
         Check the status of the IDOC.
         Goto WE47.
         TO decode the status code.
    Step 7)

  • LSMW - Report to get IDOC failures and its external reference number

    Hi All,
    I'm currently using LSMW for data migration in CRM, for Business Partner and transaction data.
    I need to generated a report which covers the idocs which have failed and the external identifier for which it has failed. Currently the IDOC reports that are available OOB provide the IDOC number and the reason for failure. It will be great if I can get the external identifier of the transaction as well.
    I searched for a report in SAP but could not find any which gives this functionality.
    Please advice.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    1.)If you want the ouput in the same report program which triggers the idoc, it is better to use the control record information.
    You will get IDoc Number from XEDIDC(check the below code) and you can store the idoc number into an internal table if more idoc is expecting to be triggered.
         call function 'MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE'
              exporting
                MASTER_IDOC_CONTROL        = EDIDC
              tables
                COMMUNICATION_IDOC_CONTROL = XEDIDC
                MASTER_IDOC_DATA           = XEDIDD
              exceptions
                others                     = 5.
       read table xedidc index 1.
      append xedidc-docno to it_docno.
    And finallly use this to display in the output.
    2.) if u want it in a seperate report, then select based on date, idoctype, messagetype

    Now please let me know can we get this idoc number?
    If i go to we02 i can see that but i want the table from where i can get this idoc number as i want show it in my final report output.
    Edited by: Julius Bussche on Sep 12, 2008 4:45 PM

    Hi
    Its very simple.
    Use function module SREL_GET_NEXT_RELATIONS
    where :
    GWA_OBJECT-OBJKEY = VENDOR_NUMBER.
    GWA_OBJECT-OBJTYPE = 'LFA1'.
    CALL FUNCTION 'SREL_GET_NEXT_RELATIONS'
      EXPORTING
        OBJECT = GWA_OBJECT
      TABLES
        ROLES = GT_ROLES .
    DELETE GT_ROLES WHERE OBJKEY EQ VENDOR_NUMBER AND OBJTYPE EQ 'LFA1'.
    After that, you will get IDOC number in the OBJKEY field where OBJTYPE = 'IDOC'

  • ABAP coding / tables behind IDOC

    Hello *,
    First some words about the scenario:
    I want to design a composite application prototype which aims to replace an existing system.
    In the existing application (non-SAP) material master data is periodically (1 x per night) transferred via (customer) IDOC from SAP PLM to the application own database. Real-time read and search functionality is implemented for this database.
    Now, with composite application framework, I have the posibility connecting directly (real-time) to the PLM data via entity services. So no redundant keeping of data is necessary.
    So now the problem is, that I need the data of the given IDOC but in request/response scenario implemented as an RFC. Am I right?
    How can I realize this? Where can I find the ABAP coding behind the IDOC? And the tables and data fields which fill the IDOC?
    Can anyone help me? Or are there any good papers/information about IDOCs?
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to get IDocs list or BAPIs in IR

    Hi Every one / XI Gurus,
    I am learning XI.
    I am an ABAPer for past 4 years.
    I have learnt XI to some extent by using SDN (some docs, links and some weblogs).
    Thank you all.
    I have done File to File and XML to XML (both are almost same) scenario using a weblog mentioned in SDN.
    It was very good and easy for beginners.
    When i am trying to do the scenario IDocs to File or File to IDoc  or
    BAPI/RFC to File or File to BAPI/RFC using the Weblogs available in SDN
    I am facing certain problems.
    I am not sure if i am correctly giving the parameters in SLD.
    But when i import the SLD to IR, i am not able to view IDocs or BAPIs in the IR.
    Can you please help me in setting the SLD and getting the list of IDocs and BAPIs

  • Get IDoc-number from flat IDoc using dynamic configuration

    Dear experts
    In an IDoc2File scenario I have added the IDoc-number to dynamic configuration using the folling code in an UDF:
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration)
    container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey FileName = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http:/"+"/sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","DOCNUM");
    conf.put(FileName, a);
    The information is stored in the SOAP message
    <SAP:DynamicConfiguration SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Record namespace="http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File" name="DOCNUM">0000000000012345</SAP:Record>
    </SAP:DynamicConfiguration>
    Can anybody tell me how I can access this information in the "variable substitution" section of the CC? Perhaps something like "message:docnum"?
    Additional information:
    Taking the IDoc-number from the payload using e.g. "payload:ORDERS05,1,IDOC,1,EDI_DC40,1,DOCNUM,1" does not work, since the XML-IDoc has been converted to an flat-IDoc.
    Thanks in advance for any good ideas
    Markus

    Dear Rodrigo and Sarvesh
    Thanks for your help so far! I applied your hints and now it is working fine.
    But now I have the following additional questions
    1.) My message mapping only maps the input IDoc to an output IDoc of the same type and structure. The MM is only required to process the UDF. Is there another, better solution to achieve my requirement that the IDoc-number shall be part of the filename?
    2.) In the CC you have the possibility to use temporary files (section "Processing", Option "Put File" = "Use Temporary File". I think this will not work with the given solution, will it?
    To possibly help somebody else or clarify the mechanism once again, I wrote down how my solution now looks like.
    My UDF in the message-mapping looks like this
    - Input = DOCNUM of IDoc, e.g. ORDERS05/IDOC/EDIDC/DOCNUM
    - Outpt = DOCNUM of IDoc, e.g. ORDERS05/IDOC/EDIDC/DOCNUM
    - UDF:
    public String putDynamicConfiguration(String docnum, Container container) throws StreamTransformationException{
    try
         DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
         DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
         String filename = "Prefix_" + docnum + ".txt";
         conf.put(key, filename);
         return docnum;
    catch (Exception e)
         return docnum;
    In the CC the settings are now as follows
    File Name Scheme = . -> only a dot or something else, because this field is obligatory, even if it is not used in this case.
    Variable substitution (...)
        Enable -> unchecked
    Adapter-Specific Message Attributes
        Use Adapter-Specific Message Attributes -> checked
        Fail If Adapter-Specific Message Attributes Missing -> checked
        File Name -> checked
        Directory, File Type, Temporary Name Scheme for Target File Name -> unchecked
    When I send an IDoc to PI and view the Adapte-Engine Version of the message (the SOAP-document, not the payload) I can find the Filename:
    <SAP:DynamicConfiguration SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
    <SAP:Record namespace="http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File" name="FileName">Prefix_0000000000012345.txt</SAP:Record>
    </SAP:DynamicConfiguration>
