Download Error on Flash Player 11
While installing Adobe Flash Player 11, the installation reached 50% and directed me to shut down Internet Explorer. I shut down Internet Explorer and clicked RETRY, but the Flash Player Installer did not recognize that Internet Explorer was closed and it directed me to shut it down again. This is preventing me from downloading Adobe Flash Player version 11. If it matters, I have Internet Explorer version 10 and Windows 7. I would welcome any advice on how to solve this.

I've published a new technote for folks who are having trouble with the Adobe Download Manager and Flash Player.

After uninstalling and ready to download; reading from the link you provided on 9/4/09, Should we follow the normal download instructions
per #2. "Flash Player download Center" and if a successful installation is not accomplished, THEN, go to "download and unzip install_Flash_Player_10_Plugin (all other windows browsers) ? Or should the latter step be done in lieu of #2 mentioned. I am assuming the download from F.P. D.L. Center would be done first and then troubleshoot by running the EXE. version of the F.P. Plugin installer.
Experience has taught me not to assume much, and if you don't know, ask!

Not able to download and install flash player
I have tried several times to download the current flash player for IE 8.
I get this error and have not been able to resolve it.
Windows Data Execution Prevention detected an add-on trying to use system memory incorrectly. This can be caused by a malfunction or a malicious add-on.
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How can i download the Adobe flash player 11?
I have tried downloading the adobe flash player 11 because if i dont have this i cant access the things I like doing on my computer. So i clicked on it and followed the indtructions but then it told me to close programs listed, so i did. Why has Zuma Blitz and other games stopped working? I have downloaded and installed flash player but it still doesn't work.
IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use.

One day, I had no problems viewing Flash on my computer. Then
one day last week, it told me I needed to download Flash Player 8
to view The Vine on E!Online. I haven't been able to download Flash

Constant Error; Adobe Flash Player 11.4 r402 has stopped working. But NOT running Trusteer Rapport.
I am experiancing this unbelieveably annoying and constant Flash error; Adobe Flash Player 11.4 r402 has stopped working.
But NOT running Trusteer Rapport, I never have, and it's not even installed on my computer. So what's causing this?There were a couple AntiVirus/AntiMalware products that keep coming up, but I haven't validated that in the lab and don't want to call anyone out publicly without reporting the issue to them first. If you could tell me what antivirus/antimalware products and versions you have installed, that would be helpful.
So, third party stuff aside, I'd like to know more about the crashes your seeing:
1.) Please provide links to the Firefox crash reports. If you have multiples, the first few would be great.
In Firefox, type about:crashes in the address bar
If the link starts with "bp...", it's already been submitted -- just right-click on it and copy the link, and paste it into the reply here.
If not, click it to submit it, and copy the subsequent link.
2.) In firefox, type about:support
Just copy and paste the output into the reply.
3.) In Firefox, type about:plugins
Please copy and paste the output into the reply
4.) Please provide the output of the DirectX Diagnostic Utility
Click Start > type "dxdiag" [enter]
Click Save All Information
Copy the output of the file into the reply, or use Adobe SendNow/DropBox/PasteBin to share the file.
5.) If you can provide an exact URL and step-by-step instructions on repeating the crash (if it's consistent), that would be really helpful. My goal is to build out a configuration that matches yours as closely as possible, reproduce the problem and then debug it.

Can't download free Adobe Flash Player - Help
I tried to download free Adobe Flash Player or Adobe Reader (is the same) and appears in the screen the following message:
"GetPlus+(R) The specified software requires a recent version of windows" and I can't proceed with instalation. I have already done a virus verification with Kasperky and it's OK. I have Windows XP (SP3) and Internet Explorer 7.

Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Uninstaller:

Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Installer for IE- use the EXE Installer

Close all browser windows, you only want to be looking at your Desktop.
Disable any messenger services, as yahoo, msn, etc in the system tray(area near the clock)
Disable any Realtime Anti-Virus until you have finished Uninstalling and Installing Flash Player
Be sure to use the Administrator Account.
Run the Uninstaller and when finished, Reboot(restart) your computer.
Check to make sure the Anti-Virus is still Disabled
Run the Installer for IE, and when finished, Reboot.
Re-enable your Anti-Virus
Then go to this test site and test each browser:

Lightroom doesn't use the Camera Raw plug-in. All of the Camera Raw technology is part of the Lightroom program. You will either have to upgrade to Lightroom 5 or use the DNG converter to create digital negative copies that can be used with Lightroom 4.
