Download for Java Advanced Imaging Image I/O Tools 1.0 not working
Hey there,
Anyone able to get the JAI I/O package from Sun, whenever I go to download it from
http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jai/downloads/download-iio.html
I get a "FATAL Exception".
If anyone has a copy of the I/O package and can share it please let me know. I have downloaded the regular JAI API but I do not believe this adds TIFF support.
I read somewhere (perhaps in the imageio-interest maillist) that
the native libraries only apply to JPEG and that they aren't strictly
necessary unless you want the accompanying performance boost. So I've
been using just the JAR files and NOT the native dll:
clibwrapper_jiio.jar
jai_imageio.jar
mlibwrapper_jai.jar
But NOT: clib_jiio.dll
This has worked fine for my application and my applet. I have been using the BMP and TIFF readers with no problem. However, when I bundle these
JAR files into my Java Web Start application, those readers aren't found. I see the JAR files get loaded and validated (I had to sign each of these JAR files -- could that be a problem?) but my JavaWS application can't read TIFF or BMP. Any ideas?
Could someone confirm that the JAR files ARE usable without the native
libraries? Also, in that case, does one need ALL the JAR files?

Sorry I would not know how to score a copy of the Program disc. I would not even trust it if I did.
Photoshop is one of the most pirated software out there and in cases loaded with malware.
Ok then, create a admin account on XP, log in and try running the cd there.

You mean an image such as a scanned document?
If that is the case, the file doesn't contain any text for Reader Out Loud to read. In order to fix that, you would need an application such as Adobe Acrobat that does Optical Character Recognition to convert the images to actual text.
You can also try to export the file as a Word document or something else using ExportPDF which I believe offers OCR and is cheaper than Acrobat. -

Question
I have just downloaded Firefox 4 and my autofill on the google toolbar is not working for any webpages it previously worked with. Is there a way to fix this? ThanksCrap. That's what I was afraid of...Well, since I'm away from home and not near my pc, it sounds like I'm out of luck. The problem is that I need my phone to be at least functional for making and receiving calls. There's an apple store nearby. Perhaps I can go there and have them restore it and at least I'll be able to make and receive calls until I get home and restore from my backup. Does that sound feasible, or am I missing something?

My serial number for adobe photoshop elements 12 and premiere elements 12 does not work. On adobe.com it shows that the serial number I received is associated with adobe photoshop elements 9 and premiere elements 9. I have purchased those products in the past, but just recently upgraded to elements 12. I can use the the photoshop organizer, but can't open the photoshop editor.
You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

I recently downloaded iMovie on my iPhone 5 and it is telling me to connect to wifi or use itunes to download iMovie well I have done both and it is still not working can someone please help me?

I'm sorry you are having issues with the iMovie app you purchased for your iPhone5.
The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Account on your iPhone, turn the iPhone off and then on again, and see if app finishes downloading/updating.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID account > Tap Sign Out
If the issues persists, the article below will give you a few more troubleshooting steps:
iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store
Try the following steps to resolve your issue, testing the app after each step.
1. Update your device software
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
2. Check for app updates
Ensure that your apps are up to date:
Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.

repeating error message reads: "valid apple id but not icloud account." when trying to start my icloud account. I tried downloading on a different computer and logging in and it did not work. I have restarted my computer several times. I have changed my password several times. I have tried to access the icloud page. Nothing has worked. Now I have this stupid app and some of my music is still not being shared on both of my computers.
I have the same problem signing in...but, I finally got a screen saying you have to set up a account on a device..like an ipad to get a iCloud sign in ...my apple id is [email protected] and this screen reset to [email protected]
If you don't have an apple device you may be out of luck. I don't know. I'm still waiting for help just as you are...good luck to both of us though. -
WAS Java Administrator password ok but logon to Visual Admin not working

I've got a situation with one of our NW 7 Portal systems where logon to both the Portal and Netweaver Administrator application using the Administrator password is ok but the filesystem based visual administrator tool logon does not work with the same password. The correct passwordhas been set in configtool so the secure storage encrypted file is in sync.
From the Java security trace files I can see that there may be a problem with the "Security Provider" logon ticket configuration as the message issues when the logon to the visual administrator occurs the following trace info is written :-

Can anyone suggest how best I can get access to the "Security Provider" settings to validate the correct settings are in place to enable the visual administrator to authenticate properly and connect.

This is weird......
I start the Visual Administrator and enter the correct password for the administrator user but get the "error while connecting" after a short while.
I then enter a wrong password for the administrator user in my next attempt to start the visual administrator and get the "User authentication failed" pop-up straight away.
I then try another connect using the correct password for the administrator user and..... it connects properly !!!!

After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.
