downloading firefox but then a widow appears, reads, "Your download was interrrupted Please click the OK button to continue"
I have Windows vista...
my internet connection is fine so not that..

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is interfering otherwise.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

On one desktop in my shop, Firefox keeps opening a software update screen. If I click the next button allowing the update to proceed, it will state that it's connecting to the update server. It will do that all day and never finish.

Happens every time I boot the desktop and open Firefox for the first time.

Do a clean (re-)install:
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

My Adobe XI download was interrupted, where is the reset button?

Help! I was downloading the trial version of the Adobe XI update and my connection was so slow, I switched it to something else. Now I can't finish the download because I can't find the 'download reset button'

There's no reset button. You need to startover the download again.

Keeps coming up that I need to update the FF 4.0 but when I click the update button & then the apply update button after the download it doesn't apply & just come back up to update firefox

I have FireFox 4.0 it comes up and says that it needs to be updated, when I click the (NEXT) button & it does the contacting server/downloading the update. I click the apply update button & the fire fox window closes & the status bar come up with the installing the updates & will restart firefox in a moment. However once the window restarts, the notice that firefox needs to be updated come back. When I click the (next) button to download the update, the cycle begins.

I love fire fox & until now have never had a problem when it comes to installing the updates.

Well I went to the Tools/options/and general section & clicked on the restore default for the home page. However I am still having the same issue.

How can I get firefox to open new tabs? It won't open new tabs if I click the plus button or press Control + T. I installed some add on that didn't help either.

How to download firefox on windows 8.1 64 bit?

After the firefox installer downloaded and I ran the program a "Run As" window opens (see attached picture). I have tried running it under current user, however after I hit okay nothing happens. I have also tried running it under administrator, but I do not know the correct password.

Check that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
* Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
* "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
If you can't make changes then start Windows Explorer as Administrator.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I can't download Firefox. Windows is blocking it, saying the source is not registered.

I am trying to download Firefox, but Windows/Internet Explorer 8 is blocking it...saying the file is not registered/certified etc. I tried to upload the certificate, but it still won't let me do it. As per the above mentioned error, your Win CS6 download was not complete, either it was in process or was interrupted. This is the only reason you see the MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.7z.crdownload. Here .crdownload means the download is in process.
Please try to download it again on the Desktop and please make sure that the download completes successfully(without the .crdownload extension).

Can I download firefox for windows with my phone
