Drag and drop samples for instant load and playback. MIDI SAMPLE PLAYBACK

HI, i am looking for a application where I can drag samples in it for instant midi playback.
I know logic has a way to do this through the ESX24, but the problem is there are multiple steps and it can takes around 1-3 minutes to finished the task.
I am looking for something on a more "spend less time setting up" event. Basically an application where I can manual drag and drop for quick load. I would like to use the Roland Hand-sonic as my midi play back

sonther, I've only tried the audiofinder out a little bit running in demo mode. I liked it ok, except that I thought I'd go and let it index my audio files, which took a very long time (fair enough, I have many).. but I didn't really see any great advantage from having done so. also I found that for some files it would give me a waveform overview, others it would say preview not available or something, even though they were the same format. maybe that was a demo limitation thing.
but it did get me thinking about how much I'd like to work better with my audio in the finder.. I've hated the audio import and audio window management in logic for a while so I'm always looking for better ways to do things.

now, I just checked and the website is currently updating this page. but go back later until you see it back up. there was a QT demo video (complete with that generic dutch-english accent..), showing what looks to me like exactly the enhancements I've been looking for, to work much better with audio in the mac finder. and of course it's got a few things that I didn't even know I was looking for, but now I know.
I'm hoping it gets released soon.. and I'm also hoping that it's not going to mess around with leopard when that comes out, because I have a feeling I am going to get very used to using this thing.
even for things outside logic, like quickly rounding up my work in progress files to instantly convert to mp3 and AAC right there in the finder, and then automatically have it all placed in an email ready to go, it's going to make life a whole lot easier. especially when you've been working hard on a deadline project, the last thing you feel like doing is messing around keeping your work in progress files in order, prepping mp3s or whatever and emailing, after you've finished a long day at logic.. seriously, check out the video when it's back up..

No Drag-n-Drop feature for my mounted Adobe Drive in my Adobe Bridge CC

I've developed a custom Drive Connector for our storage server. In Adobe Bridge CC, after connecting and auto-mounting to our server through Adobe Drive 5, there is no Drag-n-Drop feature for my data inside the mounted drive. But, if I browse other directories of my Mac with Bridge, all files are draggable. What could be the problem?
It's quite strange! Because, files within my mounted drive are draggable through Adobe Bridge CS6, but not in Adobe Bridge CC !!!
My configuration:
Mac OSX 10.9.2
Adobe Bridge CC 6.0.1.6
Adobe Drive 5.0.2.16

I too have discovered the lack of Drag-n-Drop support in Bridge when browsing assets provided by my Adobe Drive connector. I have tried telling Drive that I support nearly all of the Drive features by adding "Capability" objects to the ConnectHandler's response object (including Capability.COPY and Capability.MOVE), but that had no effect; Bridge still refuses to let me drag an asset provided by the connector.
I would very much like to know what I have to do in order to provided Drag-n-Drop functionality.

I have 4 toolbars in my browser. I want to rearrange the order in which they appear. How is this done in FireFox 4?

It could well mean that you've not set the dropTarget correctly. Check if you've added proper dataFlavor.

Drag-n-Drop problem in DataGrid with custom ItemRenderer

I am trying to use a DataGrid to set the ordering of a group
of images.
I want to do this with a DataGrid which will show me some
properties of
the images in different columns including a thumbnail of the
image. The
problem is when I use any custom renderer for any column, the
draging is
not working. It works fine when I don't use any ItemRenderer.
My code looks something like this:

Instead of getting it clearly, I got another Confusion... (pardon me)
Let me clarify this with the examples given,
I try to adopt previous source code
and it was this detail;
1) Taking the X and Y coordinate (from the mouseEvent) Plus jLabel1 coordinate (both X and Y).
2) Positioning a Coordinate taken to JLabel1
3) Passing the Coordinate taken to jLabelX, and jLabelY.
The problem found was;
if we make 3rd become comments, now the jLabel1
could works!
I mean, jLabel1 could be dragged to another Coordinate (by dragging it to another location)
But,
if we un-comments the 3rd source code,
The effect would be no movement of the jLabel1.

Can I create interactive area and user may drag and drop in this area? It's very important to me because I want user can calculate everything in Excel, drag any thing (like Table, AP DIV, Form Element) in Dreamweaver or Drag form element in Netbeans.

Drag'n drop : reacting/animating on drag, according to mouse pos in target

Hi fellow Java coders,
I'm using drag'n drop support for some JPanel I'm using in order to make them able to change their layout in their parent or to stack themselves in a tab panel.
The drag n drop itself works fine (I took the example provided in do, the one with drag'n'dropped children pics).
But I would like to be able to react according to mouse position in the target panel, the one that receives the drop. I would like to change mouse cursor according to where is the mouse position inside the target panel, or animating / repainting things inside this target panel.
The lock I have is that with drag'n drop, MouseListener is not called at all when in drag movement, so I can't handle mouse events.
Is there a way to handle this case, when you wan't to react when dragging data above a possible target component, before having dropped it ?

This grew larger than I planned, but here is an example that show different cursors for different components.
Drag from the center and the cursor will change for each of the border labels.
The code I origionally used this in uses custom cursors Crated by System.createCustomCursor.
This is not really pretty, but it works.

Drag n Drop Explaination In Confused Mode Detected

Forgive me if I'm wrong.
But I'm currently still trying to understand about the concept of drag n drop dealing with Swing component.
For the aim objective which I concerned is just to get understand how
to make one and more Swing component to be draggable and could be dropped into another location within
a single JFrame. Well, that's the 1st aim.
And yet, these lines make me confused.

Creating Dynamic Controls with Drag-n-Drop

I'm creating an application that allows users to drag bubbles
from a panel on the left and drop them on a central workspace. I've
already coded the drag-n-drop operations for this process, and it
all works just fine. The user can drag one bubble (which represents
a category) and when dropped, a new similar control gets created at
the mouse coordinates. However, what I can't figure out how to do
is create that new control with dragEnter and dragDrop properties
of it's own. Obviously, if I was creating this control ahead of
time, then I would specify those events in the XML portion, but I'm
creating the control dynamically, so I have to figure out some way
to set that up. Something like...

I am trying to create a Swing GUI where the right mouse button has a drag 'n' drop function for a particular component.
Does anyone know how I create a DragGestureRecognizer for a right drag mouse event rather than a left drag mouse event

Hi
You can determinate which mouse buttons has been pressed using the method isPopupTrigger () of the classMouseEvent.
The mouseDragged method is always called when any mouse button has been pressed an the mouse moves while the button is still pressed. In the method you can filter out the events that comes from the left mouse button using the method (isPopupTrigger) I mentioned above.

UltraBeat Drag and Drop Samples (once and for all)

Hello I have searched through this and other forums for this one.
I know someone can come through here... I have tried every which way
of draging and droping aiff, wav, and mp3 samples into the Ultrabeat
in the Drag ad Drop template provided.
No Dice. I have no idea what is going on with this hoping someone can spell
this one out - I think it will read by thousands...

Ok 2 discoveries for any one else reading this thread for help.
I found;
1. The Load Sample window is in the lower left hand corner of the Ultrabeat window.
2. That is where you find the load and unload sample menu
Question I have;
I can load a sample here from out side of logic ie any sample from the browser
BUT cannot load from the Apple Loops menu this is part of what may have thrown me off any info on this?
Also, there seems to be no edit/undo function in ultrabeat can some one confirm this?
