Drill down problem when using union all combination

Hi All,
I have a simple report with a drill down. The report has three columns Region, Sales, Flag... which will drill down to detail level of sales. The Flag column has Y, N values and we added 'All' Value in flag so that the user can select Y, N and All from the table prompt in the report . We have used union all in the report using combination to add the ' All ' Value in the flag. The problem is that now the main report is not passing the Flag values to the detail report. Flag is prompted in the filter in detail report.
If I remove the 'All' value from Analysis with only Y N selection criteria the drill down works.
Is there any work around? I have to use table prompt and All value selection in flag for drill down.

The problem is without union all when doing combination of analysis drill down works, when I use combination drill down does not work because it does not pass the parameters for flag . I have used union all to add All value in flag.

I can run a query in SQL Developer 1.5.5 and if it's a SELECT statement it works fine, but if I output the result of several SELECT statements using UNION ALL after some 10,000 records the SQL Developer crashes and it generates a file whose size is 0 kb
Is there a workaround for this??

Drill down problem when execute CR Viewer from Sap Web Application Server

We are using Sap Was 7.01.
The report viewer jar files deployed to the j2ee engine , and I am using j2ee servlet application to execute the report.
Everything works OK, but when I am trying to drill down to the next sub report the screen become blank.
I checked with httpwatch and it seems that there is no response from the server , after DD.
The web.xml file look like this:

Hello,
to which directory have you unzipped the Files? I would suggest C:\temp because there are problems with long filenames. Have you tried to reboot and then disconnect Drive M:?

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.

Xcelsius drill down problem.

Hi gurus, I'm developing drill down chart and table.
I want to reset, making cell blank, the drill down cell when i click combo box.
I used push button to refresh or reset drill down value but it can not refresh(reset) drill down cell
because the destination cell of the chart remains drill down value

i have to eliminate (2->3) phase or find another way to refresh drill down cell.
I think problem is the chart which remains drill down value(a) although pushbutton reset the drill down cell to blank.

Can you confirm if what you're saying also holds for components with the "Enable Drill Down" option enabled, and the "Default Selection" is set to "No Selection (-1)"?
I'm running into an issue where the "Default Selection" value is not cleared out after performing 3 levels of drill-down. On the third time I do a drill-down, by default the first element is selected, even though I've set the "Default Selection" to "No Selection (-1)".

TS2570 doesn't work, still the same problem when using Rapidweaver software. NOT with other software.

i tried everything in this article, but still have the same problem when using Rapidweaver software. NOT with other software. I am converting my iWeb site to Rapidweaver, whenever there is a calmer period in my office. I have 16 Gb RAM on my NEW iMac and have Parallels desktop, mail, safari, iWeb and Rapidweaver running simultanious.
I never have the problem if i don't use Rapidweaver, but after i have added several pages to Rapidweaver, the problem begins. my iMac won't start up. the only thing that works is re-installing Macos OS X 10.8. i tried even whiping the completeharddrive, and reinstalling with a complete new user, the same problem.
I had it on my previous iMac also, and bought a new one because i thought the problem was in the iMac first. i hadn't noticed it only happens with using rapidweaver.
i sent my complete rapidweaver project to the programmers from rapidweaver at Realmacsoftware, but they couldnt reproduce my problem, there macs started up without any problem.
i deleted all the rapidweaver addons and extra stacks, and started a complete new project.
saterday i had the problem again, after adding about 5 new pages to my rapidweaver site.
i think i have reinstalled Macos OS X 10.8.2 20 or 30 times by now
does anyone have a sollution?

Xcelisius Drill Down Problem

I am facing problem when using Xcelsius Drill Down functionality.
I am using two column charts. When one of the bars in the first chart
is clicked, the second chart shows up on the first one (covering the
first one) with corresponding data. We have a toggle button and when that
is clicked, the first one is shown, while the second one is hidden.
The problem is, we need to select a default selection in the Drill Down
section of first chart. When the default selected bar is clicked on the
first chart, there is no way to know that the bar has been clicked.
(Because it is already selected by default), so we are not able to show
the second bar on the top of the first for this scenario...

Hi Jacob, Thank you very much. It solved my problem. I have one more question, in the same context. When the new Series is added and made the default and any of the bars is clicked, the second column chart is showing up. But, when I click the back ("toggle button") on the second chart and go back to the first one, And select the already selected bar (previously clicked on) on the first chart, then there is no way that the second chart would appear. This is because, the cell which we have chosen to put the selected value in, doesn't change!!. This is driving me nuts.
I know that my explanation of things is so complicated. But, please bear with me to help me out. I thank you once again for responding to my question.

NLS support problems when using AL32UTF8 in dads.conf

Following a post by Joel Kallman, in one of the forum threads, about the mandatory use of AL32UTF8 in dads.conf, when running HTML DB v2.0, I changed my PlsqlNLSLanguage parameter accordingly.
Prior to the change, I experienced some problems when using non-English characters some application items appeared as gibberish when contained non-English characters, and the LIKE operator didn't perform as expected. After the change, it all seems to work OK, but now I have a different problem.
All the non-English characters in my HTML page source code appears as gibberish. On screen, at run time, everything display correctly, but the source code seems to be corrupted. It is very difficult, and very annoying to debug the pages that way. Is there a way to enjoy both worlds Using AL32UTF8 in the dads.conf, as required, and still getting a coherent HTML source code, containing non-English characters?

yes, that is exactly what mine did too. I noticed that something is wrong after receiving calls and did not hear anything.
It was like the IPhone did not realize that the headphone is not any longer plugged in. I m not sure weather I plugged/unplugged the headphones after this more than once but it startet working correctly.

Performance using UNION ALL

i have 2 schemas S1 and S2 containing complex relational tables. The tables in each schema are related to each other via foreign key relationships. i made views for feature tables in both the schemas , querying column values from their related tables.
the data structure in both the schemas are exactly the same. Dut to management reasons we have to split them in 2 schemas. S1 contain data for region A and S2 contains data from region B. Now the client wants to see a combined data from region A & B.
we are planning to create another schema S3 and make views combining views from S1 and S2 in both schemas (V1 in S1 + V1 in S2) using UNION ALL.
Does UNION ALL will make use of the indexes we already built for parent tables in S1 and S2? Will there be a performance degradation using this approach? What can be the best approach? Our client needs to see real time data....

Since union does an extra sort it has a performance difference compared to union all.

The problem described as follows:
1. The flash file with sound works well before uploaded to
website. The audio lost when uploaded to the website(There is no
problem with the flash file size). I have uploaded the flash file
to website for you to test. Please go to

2. When we open the flash movie in IE with Flash player
V9.0.47 and previous versions (Flash9d.ocx), the flash movie with
sound works well.
3. When we upgrade the flash player to the latest version
V9.0.115 (Flash9e.ocx), the video works well, but the sound just
can play several seconds and then stop.
4. On Flash Player ocx V9.0.115. If we publish the flash
movie on web with 24fps, the sound just can work several seconds
and then stop, the problem is the same if we use the
TShockWaveFlash control to play the flash movie.
5. On Flash Player ocx V9.0.115. If we publish the flash
movie with 12fps, the sound works well but the quality is really
very poor. It seems that the sound plays shorter with more frames
per second. But the flash file works well with the Flash Player
V9.0.47 and previous versions (Flash9d.ocx).

ORA-01403: no data found Problem when using AUTOMATIC ROW FETCH to populate a form.
1) Created a FORM on EMP using the wizards. This creates an AUTOMATIC ROW FETCH
TABLE NAME - EMP
Item Containing PRIMARY KEY - P2099_EMPNO
Primary key column - EMPNO
By default the automatic fetch has a ‘Process Error Message’ of ‘Unable to fetch row.’
2) Created a HTML region. Within this region add
text item P2099_FIND_EMPNO
Button GET_EMP to submit
Branch Modified the conditional branch created during button creation to set P2099_EMPNO with &P2099_FIND_EMPNO.
If I then run the page, enter an existing employee number into P2099_EMPNO and press the GET_EMP button the form is populated correctly. But if I enter an employee that does not exist then I get the oracle error ORA-01403: no data found and no form displayed but a message at the top of the page ‘Action Processed’.I was expecting a blank form to be displayed with the message ‘Unable to fetch row.’
I can work around this by making the automated fetch conditional so that it checks the row exists first. Modify the Fetch row from EMP automated fetch so that it is conditional

But this means that when the employee exists I must be fetching from the DB twice, once for the condition and then again for the actual row fetch.
Rather than the above work around is there something I can change so I don’t get the Oracle error? I’m now wondering if the automatic row fetch is only supposed to be used when linking a report to a form and that I should be writing the fetch process manually. The reason I haven’t at the moment is I’m trying to stick with the automatic wizard generation as much as I can.
Any ideas?
