Dropping objects using a script.

Create a script that will drop all the objects owned by you on the dsa10 database. Please just create the script by using an appropriate select statement and data dictionary views. Spool the output of the select statement to a file.
How will I go about doing this?

Similar requirement is discussed in Asktom. You can use below script.
set feedback off
set heading off
set termout off
set linesize 1000
set trimspool on
set verify off
spool c:\temp\drop_objects.lst
SELECT 'DROP ' || OBJECT_TYPE || ' ' || OBJECT_NAME ||';' FROM USER_OBJECTS
WHERE OBJECT_TYPE <> 'TABLE' AND OBJECT_TYPE <> 'INDEX' AND OBJECT_TYPE<>'PACKAGE BODY' AND
OBJECT_TYPE<>'TRIGGER' AND OBJECT_TYPE<>'LOB'
UNION ALL
SELECT 'DROP ' || OBJECT_TYPE || ' ' || OBJECT_NAME ||' CASCADE CONSTRAINTS;' FROM USER_OBJECTS
WHERE OBJECT_TYPE = 'TABLE';
spool off;
@c:\temp\drop_objects.lst
prompt 'Purging the recycle bin...'
purge recyclebin;
host del c:\temp\drop_objects.lst
exit;

  • Disconnect object using a script (not from FIM Management console)

    Hi,
    Is there any way to disconnect a connector from its connected Metaverse object using a PowerShell command or wathever?
    For the moment we use the Management Console to achieve this operation by clicking on "disconnect" to force the connector to become "disconnector".
    Thanks for your help.

    Thank you for your reply,
    The deprovisioning process works fine and is not the purpose of what I want to achieve.
    What I want to do is to disconnect an Connector from a MV object to reconnect it to another MV object because the join rule isn't valid anymore.
    The case is as follow :
    An Active Directory user is linked to an identity in our Identity Management System using a UserID which is mapped to employeeId attribute in AD user.
    If the employeeID in AD is modified (by another Management Agent for example), I want to connect the user, with the new employeeID, to the correct MV object and hence to the correct ID in our system.
    The main idea is to store some information from AD user such as UserPrincipaleName or sAMAccountName in the correct identity.
    Unfortunately, the join rule isn't evaluated for the "connected" Connectors but only for "disconnectors" (unless there is an option to re evaluate the join rules for all objects that I don't know).
    So to connect the user to the correct MV object, I have to disconnect manually the Connector to make it disconnector and re-sync. The sync process connect automatically the user to the correct MV Object which provision attributes from AD user to the right
    ID and "delete" attributes from the former ID in our system.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Using a script object

    Hi,
    I have beginner skills using LC Designer ES and am trying to insert and use a script object. I found a JavaScript function online: http://home.online.no/~pjacklam/notes/invnorm/impl/misra/normsinv.html and am trying to get it to do some math calculations in a Designer form.
    I've uploaded a sample test form at: http://elearningprojects.com/TestFormula1.pdf
    Can't get it to work.Trying to run the JS formula in the script object (by clicking on a button), using a few hard-coded variables, and display the results (Dprime1 and Dprime2) in 2 text fields.
    I would much appreciate if someone can take a look and suggest how to get it working correctly.
    Thanks for your help.
    Kind Regards,
    saratogacoach

    Hi Paul,
    Thank you for your reply and suggestions. With beginner skills in LC Designer (I'm a retired social worker), I am not sure how to do this.
    Is my identifying the script object path correct?
    form1.#subform[0].#variables[0].SO1.function_name(NORMSINV(p));
    When you say "You are calling this function a few times in your code so you will have to modify each call." I am not sure how to change this.
    I currently have (note that I added the SO1. to the function calls):
    var p = totalscore5
    var probit1 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var p = totalscore6
    var probit2 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var Dprime1 = probit1-probit2
    var p = totalscore8
    var probit3 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var p = totalscore7
    var probit4 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var Dprime2 = probit3-probit4
    Can you specify what a modified script would look like? I'm stuck.
    Also, have I set up displaying the Dprime1 variable's value in the TextField1 correctly?
    Thanks very much for your help.

  • Acrobat standard 9.0 error while enabling commets option using Java script object

    I'm using the below java script code in my VB 6.0 application for enabling commets options in the PDF file
    Dim oJSO As Object
    Set oJSO = mPDDoc.GetJSObject
    oJSO.Collab.showAnnotToolsWhenNoCollab = True
    It is working fine till Acrobat 8.0. Now I'm trying with Acrobat 9.0 standard edition, it is throwing scripting error 'An unhandled Win32 exception occured in Acrobat.exe[308].
    Can anyone suggest the way to enable 'comment' options in Acrobat Standard 9.0 using Java Script Object?
    Thanks

    I get much the same problem with VB6, Acrobat 9 Pro and WinXP SP3. When I single step the line:
    oJSO.Collab.showAnnotToolsWhenNoCollab = True
    in debug I go to the error handler for my Sub. Inspecting the VB Err object has Number = -2147417851 and Description = "Automation error
    The server threw an exception." I get a Microsoft crash notice about Acrobat a short while later.
    I've experimented with the JavaScript debugger in Acrobat and you can execute Collab.showAnnotToolsWhenNoCollab = True and reference the value of Collab.showAnnotToolsWhenNoCollab in the console. The problem appears only when accessing Acrobat Javascript through the Interapplication Communication API.
    If anyone can help it would be appreciated. I tried Adobe's Acrobat support and they were no help at all.

  • How & where to use Java script to create new button in object detail page

    Hi All,
    I want to create "New/Add button" in object detail page. If i am not wrong i need to use java script for that but could you please let me know how & where to use Java script to create new button in object detail page in CRMOD.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Manish

    Any related object on the detail page should have an "Add" or "New" or both buttons by default - This is vanilla functionality and will do the required action.
    If you want to modify this behaviour and do something tricky you will potentially have to go for javascript. You should add the javascript on a custom web tab on that Object.
    Admin --> Application Customization --> Contact -->Contact Web Applet
    Now, add your javascript in the code area, after you select the type = HTML for this web applet, expose this web applet on the Contact detail layout and your javascript will be invoked whenever this page is loaded.
    Check this online document to see how javascript can be embedded in CRM on Demand http://helponmyproject.com/TTOCOD/

  • Problem Dropping Objects in Oracle XE using PL/SQL Developer

    Hi all,
    I am using PL/SQL Developer to access Oracle XE. I created some tables and later dropped them. But I still see some objects in the PL/SQL Developer Browser under the Tables section.
    Below is the name of the objects in I see:
    bin$fj7zj7y9rhqujmwrz1zmtg==$0,
    bin$frxjknkot4cwtkexm4wtca==$0,
    bin$q2m8wls+s72szfufb+mnzw==$0,
    bin$syrcyj1bsqcelpfsodudrw==$0,
    bin$tjt8ipk6ras8qtx0zvn+6w==$0,
    bin$vc6dzazorg6zwemticqdha==$0,
    bin$xfrxhcb3s5ev8wkjfc/3vg==$0,
    bin$oyrdsi+us+yhhoprzdingq==$0,
    bin$vtk7saqqtecbhmdwpnp1bg==$0,
    bin$x1hhdhy+trmfponyldjwdw==$0
    When I tried dropping these objects, I get ORA - 00933: SQL Command not properly ended. Error deleting bin$fj7zj7y9rhqujmwrz1zmtg==$0
    How do I resolve this problem? And then drop all those objects listed above.
    Is it possible to drop those objects at all?
    Thanks in advance.
    Sam.

    There is no problem sofar. The objects you see are dropped objects ( if you drop it, oracle silently rename the object but preserve it as long you have sufficient space ).
    You shouldn't drop them if you don't have issue with free space - they enable you to get back accidentally dropped table without to have restore the backup ( flashback table). If you are annoyed by displaying it in PL SQL Developer, you can just add a filter to not show them to you ( all objects like 'bin%' ) or you can update to newrer version of PL SQL Developer ( i've 7.0.0.1050 and it is displayed properly, all dropped objects can be found under recyclebin folder ). Finally , if you want purge them, use the 'purge recyclebin' command.
    Best regards

  • Setting drag and drop components using script

    Hi,
    Is there a way to set the drag object name and target name of
    the Drag and Drop component using actionscript? I have looked
    through the help files and there is no mention of how to do this. I
    cannot find any methods relating to the Learning Interactions
    either. Can this be done or am I trying to do something that Flash
    is not capable of?
    The reason I wish to do this is so I can retrofit the D&D
    component into existing code. The existing code generates new
    object/target pairs and stores them in an array. I need to be able
    to read these values and plug them into the component at runtime.
    Any ideas?
    TIA

  • Unable to add reference for Excel Object Library for use within Script Task

    I have a requirement to use a Script Tax that needs to reference the Excel Object Model. There are numerous articles on using this such as
    http://www.databasejournal.com/features/mssql/article.php/3921141/SSIS-Script-Task-and-Microsoft-Office-Automation.htm.
    Simply, I need to add a reference to the Microsoft Excel 12.0 Object Library.
    I have selected this from the Object List on the COM tab and when this adds the reference it states 'The System cannot find the reference specified', even though the referenced file for this Object is C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\Excel.exe
    and this file location exists on my local machine ?

    Please search where "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll" exist in your system and try adding the reference.
    If you don't find the dll there then there might be problem while installing.

  • Backup SQL Agent Jobs - whats the difference between "create to" and "drop to" using "script job as"?

    Hi,
    This should be straightforward, but being new to SQL Server 2008, can someone advise the difference between "create to" and "drop to" using "script job as"?
    Thanks
    IT Support/Everything

    hello,
    "CREATE TO" create a CREATE statement for the job, e.g. to execute this script on a other server to create the same job there.
    "DROP TO" means you get a script to delete an existing job.

    Assuming your objects are known and what you need are simply
    variable names created by the program, try using objects as
    associative arrays:
    var asArray:Object = new Object();
    for (var n:int = 0; n < 10; n++) {
    asArray["obj" + n] = new WHAT_EVER();

  • Register and unregister locations using ombplus script

    hi
    how to register and unregister the locations using ombplus scripts.
    any help would be appreciated.
    thanks,
    Keka

    The deployment script I have posted previously to copy a project mdl over to a new repository for local deployment includes creating a control center, making it the default for your project, creating the locations, assigning them to the control center, and registering them.
    Re: importing mappings using OMBPLUS
    To unregister a location, first you want to undeploy anything deployed from it to avoid dangling references int he repository, and then unregister the location.
    I do that in the following drop_project script that we use to delete an old copy of the project before importing the new version.
    #get db connection info

    exec_omb OMBDISCONNECTThis script uses the same config and library file given in the other post that I pointed you towards. That is where you will find the definition for exec_omb, for example which is simply a wrapper for OMB+ calls
    Now, note that I don't un-deploy any tables, views, sequences etc. We use Designer as our location of record for the data model metadata so our OWB project never deploys any object metadata except for mappings. Your setup may be different, still this should point you in the right direction.

  • Database copy dropped objects in source schema

    I was seeking out a quick way to copy an entire schema from one db to another and I was happy when I found the "database copy" feature. I checked the documentation and found that all I needed to do was select the source connection, the target connection, and choose either create, truncate, or drop objects. Well I had some objects in the source db from a previous failed attempt at copying all the objects via script. To remedy that the drop objects option, according to the documentation " Drops any existing table with the same name, and then creates and loads it from the source." Ok, great. The summary shows up with a bunch of entries which I didn't pay too much attention too. Fine, continue...running....progress...so far so good..and the log shows up. I see drops, I see moving data, and I see a whole bunch of errors with no useful information with them. Check the target schema...nothings there, all objects are dropped. Ok, lets have a look at the source and see whats going on. Refresh tables...nothing...refresh...refresh...nothing. The source schema has all its objects GONE too! One lonely type is saved in the source schema, that's it. Am I a total moron and misinterpreting how database copy works? Can anyone shed some light on this? Anyway to recover my source objects? As the source db is not production I am out of luck as there is no recent backup.
    Source: 9i
    Target: 11g
    sql developer v 2.1.1.64.45
    -j

    OK the problem was that my target connection was inadvertently pointing to the source. It was set properly before but stuff went bad and i switched the connection from TNS to basic, then back to TNS. Apparently when switching back to TNS the wrong entry was selected. Not sure if I chose it or it was selected from a different connection. In any case, very stupid of me.
    thanks K.

  • Drop object with special character

    Hi All,
    I have a problem regarding an object which was created by a script.
    The script is supposed to do like below:
    CREATE OR REPLACE
    TYPE "PROCESS_TYPE" WRAPPED
    <and the codes continued>
    However due to something wrong in my script,
    it printed to be
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "PROCESS_TY
    PE" wrapped
    <and the codes continued>
    Because of this mistake, I happen to have an object with a return character (chr(10)).
    My question is really simple. How can I delete this kind of object from my schema?
    I've tried concatenation using || but didn't work.
    Thanks a lot for your help.
    Regards,
    Adhika

    Hi
    Search the object using object browser on sql developer or any other tool which shows the objects in your schema. and you can drop it from there.

  • How to add text to a drag and drop object

    Hi everyone, I am quite a beginner with Flash so do excuse
    me. First, I am not sure if what I want to achieve may actually be
    impossible with Flash. I presently use MX 2004, but will shortly be
    upgrading to CS3. But if you know the answer for MX 2004 that would
    be really useful for now.
    I am writing a digital fiction story, and I want to create
    drag and drop objects. This I have managed to do. But I would like
    these drag and drop objects to also reveal text when they are
    actually pressed on. I have had no success so far in being able to
    achieve the two effects together.
    Does anyone know how I can achieve this? If, by chance, you
    know the action script that would be great. If you can explain to
    me in simple terms how I can achieve this I really would be
    grateful.
    Thanking you,
    Mary

    The script I posted would work on the main timeline - not in
    the timeline of the clip itself.
    So you made a movieclip out of the image and gave it the
    instance name "myclip". That's good.
    You edited that clip and added a dynamic text box with
    instance name "mytext". Be careful not to confuse the "instance"
    name of the text box with the "Var:" name. "myclip" should be the
    instance name. Also be careful to make sure you uncheck the
    "selectable" box. Edit your clip and click on the textbox to select
    it and look in the properties panel. There should be a button with
    Ab on it. If it is white background (highly likely), click it so it
    is not white. If the text is selectable, it will interfere with
    your button functions.
    While there is nothing wrong with creating nested clips
    within your movieclips, unless you plan to target them for
    something, there is no benefit. The only thing that needs an
    instance name inside the myclip is the textbox (based on what you
    are trying to do).
    You don't need any actionscript in the movieclip itself. If
    you can learn to place all your AS on the root timeline, you will
    be well ahead.
    If you placed that AS inside the clip, Flash wouldn't know
    what to do with it.
    Technically you can place the AS inside the clip on the layer
    you created but, if you did that, you would need to modify the
    script to the following:
    this.onPress = function() {
    this.mytext.text = "stop pressing so hard";
    startDrag(this);
    this.onRelease = function() {
    this.mytext.text = "";
    stopDrag();
