DTW problem when updating business partner

Hi Experts,
I want to update business partner master data via DTW.
I only want to update the Remarks.
In my import file only the fields RecordKey, CardCode and FreeText are filled.
Example:
RecordKey: 1
CardCode: C20000
FreeText: My Remarks
The import is successful and the remarks were filled but the DTW has also updated other fields in the business partner master data.
Before update via DTW the business partner has no payment methods included on the payment system tab but after update via DTW the payment method is included and is defined as Standard.
Any idea?

Hi,
yes, the existing payment methods were defined manually before update.
But the payment method was not included for that business partner.
Here are some hardcopys before update and after update.

Problem when creating business partner

Dear Expert,
I have a problem when creating business partner from T-code BP
I can't input vendor number in company code header data
The vendor account field is set to required entry.
When create business partner, I make some entry like :
Business partner category : organization
BP Role                           : Landlord with vendor account
Grouping                          : external number assignment
Company Code                 : 1000
The problem is everytime i try to input vendor number, it always failed.
The Vendor account field always display ' <external> '
It's strange.. the vendor field it's seem locked by grouping
What should I do??

I would like to suggest you some SAP notes that contain useful information aobut customer-vender intergration of ERP2005.

This notes describes the changes (new development) of CVI AND the necessary customizing settings.
In short, CVI is now bidirectional.
1. BP -> Customer/Vendor: it depends on the roletype configuration, if a customer/vender is created.
2. Customer/Vendor -> BP: it depends on the account group if a BP is created.
Data is changed then synchronoously.

DTW Error65171 when Updating Business Partners

I have gotten the following error multiple times when attempting to update Business Partners in the DTW: "Can not find this object in B1Application-defined or object-defined error65171". I have tried many different things as well as only trying to import one record with only the line num, card code, and card type and still I get this error when trying to update BP's. I have also tried using both a tab delimited and a comma delimited file. Pleae let me know if you have any related information. Thanks!

a typical situation where this kind of error occurs is when there is data in the line to be imported/updated which is not defined in SAP, e.g. in the import-file I used a tax-code which was not defined in SAP.
Furthermore I had problems with a newer version of DTW (no time to look for the version number right now). With this version it is NOT possible to UPDATE business partners. I installed an older version of DTW which was part of SAP BO 2005A SP01 PL16 (if I remember it corretly) and did the update of business partners.
To solve your problem you should inform us on the versions of SAP and DTW you are currently using, as Suda already asked you for in his reply!

Check in BADI when updating Business Partner

Hi.
This question is regarding in general how to know which tables, classes etc. that you are able to use when you are in a BADI.
I guess this BADI should be used: BUPA_IDENT_UPDATE, or it might be PARTNER_UPDATE.
I need to check if ID_TYPE when Update or Insert new ID during Save of partner.
When pressing F6 a few times I can see in the call of funtion BUP_BUPA_UPDATE that variable mem_but0id and there the kz variable is I for Insert.
But this is outside the BADI, how would I find this information from the BUPA_IDENT_UPDATE???

Problem when saving business partner on creation or changing

When i create a business partner in fmcac1 it is taking an eternity when saving. i am also encountering the same problem when saving changes in transaction fmcac2. its hanging when i click the save button but if i terminate the job the changes woul have been made. what might be causing the problem.
When i terminate the process am getting the message as shown below
Dev: SAP System message
Panic: Unrecoverable errors occured

well there are really many possibilities for that.
have you once waited, if the task will finish?
if it does finish i would suggest to do a SQL-Trace with TA ST05.
If this is possible, the performance trace will show you quite by detail where your process time is beeing used.
To find out why so much time is used in that position then is another thing.
But once you got the problem identified you should be able to exlude some reasons like (inperformant selects or such).

Could you describe more detail what template you have used when importing business partner master data beside business partner template ? I usually use business partner, contact employees and BP address. if I import the wrong data (incorrect data), I usually re -import the data after delete the existing BP master data. I just use these queries :
delete from OCRD where cardcode between 'cust1000' and 'cust3000'
delete from CRD1 where cardcode between 'cust1000' and 'cust3000'
I consider the update existing object task can also be useful feature in DTW to correct the incorrect data in database after importing but give consideration to record key.

Mass not available in 4.0, could write your own LSMW routine but you still will create bdocs for updates so not sure how that will improve your performance.

Scenario is to Create or update Business partner in CRM from thirdparty system via PI
It would be great if you could clarify the following
Hope we have BAPI to create and Update Business partner in CRM system but my question is
1. Can we use any predelivered PI content - Message Interfaces - as proxies ( Server proxies ) to create BP from system ?
2. Same interface will work for Update as well ?
IF so what is that content ? where to find for our PI System ?
3. Can we use the same way for Client proxies as well when we want to update the business partner ?
4. What are the inbound and outbound Message Interfaces are available ?

I think that i am not described my question properly , Say i have CRM system where i have to create BP for this input comes from external system (forget about the system ) , Here i want to use Proxy (Server proxy ) which helps me create Business partner in CRM system .
Here my question is If sap delivers the Inbound interface ( where server proxy already generated by SAP) , which i will use to create BP ?
Can we do in this way ?

If you have no photos:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library' and start.

I am in the process of installing 9i on SUSE Linux 7.2. The only Linux that is certified to run 9i. The machine is is a fresh install of SUSE. I am running into the same problem. I ran through the first make problem by going to a shell and invoking a make -f oemagent.mk. Built the library just fine. Got errors when trying to run make -f ins_rdbms.mk. Not sure why the installer or the command line is having problems.
Not sure if I can just hit Ignore and go on????
Any help would be appreciated. You would think 9i would spread like butter on their "Certified" platform.

I've this error GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED short dump when load business partner master data, it's running in BI 7.0 with support package 12.
The error is because the field symbol is that pointed to the line of an internal table that was deleted.
I think that it's an incompatibility between subroutine and unicode.
Do you have idea about correct this error?

It's when running a process chain to load Business partner master data
The error say:
-.You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an internal table that was deleted.
-.You address a field symbol that was previously reset using UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no longer exist.
-. You address a global function interface, although the respective function module is not active - that is, is not in the list of active calls. the list of active calls can be taken from this short dump.
I think that it's for the unicode corversion because I've the last support package 12 installed and the rest of the process chain are running perfect.

Hi Ios 8.1.2 Should work on iPhone 4s / 5 You may have a bug Backup to cloud over WiFi Then Restore back to Factory Settings This will make iPhone as new. Use same Apple ID & you will get your Apps & Data back Do Restore over your WiFi. Cheers Brian

a .asp template, it replaces my 1 line of code
with <%@ Page Language="VB" ContentType="text/html"
ResponseEncoding="iso-8859-1" %> and errases the resto of the
attributes i have on each page, making it unfunctionable.
Does anyne know why the template when updating does that?

The changes are getting lost when i logout and login back to SAP.
In Current session i am able to see the changes. But changes are lost as soon as i end up my session,
but this is happening only in case of template box width. All other changes are retained between my various SAP sessions.
So wanted to know if any other value is over-writing the template box width values.

Do you mean that pink folder w/ the controller icon on it? I lost that too on my N8. Actually, lost all of the folders that came with Anna like Applications & Music. Wish I could get them back as now I can only make the generic yellow folder which isn't as aesthetically appeasing.
However, reading articles on Belle there was a picture of a Belle N8 with the games folder shortcut on the homescreen - so maybe it still exists & I just cannot find it.

select a row from search result page for update, after change the value and apply it, received the following error message:

yes. it is the EO based VO page. Create and Update used same VO and no problem to create the row, had problem when update the row.
