Duplicate Entries being sent to EntryProcessors in 3.6.1

Duplicate entries are being sent to my EntryProcessor.
I am using the following code to invoke an EntryProcessor.
Filter accf = new EqualsFilter("getKey.getAccountName", "00160352");
gvaValRepo.getCache().invokeAll(accf, mergeProcessor);
The mergeprocessor doesnt do anything but to Log the entries it recv'd. Here is what I am receiving.
2010-08-27 11:58:38,933-dream-aggregatedgenevavaluation-serviceWorker:12 INFO GenevaMergeProcessor.class- Key=AggregationKey{accountName='00160352', currency='USD', legalEntity='MACRO'} DomainBaseKey{trackingId=73, businessDate=Fri Jul 23 00:00:00 EDT 2010}
2010-08-27 11:58:38,933-dream-aggregatedgenevavaluation-serviceWorker:17 INFO GenevaMergeProcessor.class- Key=AggregationKey{accountName='00160352', currency='USD', legalEntity='MACRO'} DomainBaseKey{trackingId=73, businessDate=Fri Jul 23 00:00:00 EDT 2010}
The above two are the same entries being sent twice to the EntryProcessor. Two points to note is that the serviceWorker has a different ID. Also, the duplicates have a direct corelation to the number of nodes, meaning if I have 3 nodes then the EntryProcessor will be called thrice with the same entry. I used QueryPlus to verify that the Cache has only a single instance of the above entry which verifies that the key is correct.

Hello,
Could you please post a reproducible test case that we could take a look at?
Best regards,
-Dave

  • Duplicate contacts being sent!

    I followed the instructions provided by a member here (I tried to click kudos but it didn't seem to work Here are the instructions....
    - Synch the device with Outlook
    2- Delete the duplicate entries in Outlook (is more easy than in the device)
    3- Open Desktop Manager on your PC.
    4- Open up Backup/Restore > Advanced.
    5- From Advanced you'll see a split pane screen. The left pain is what is going to be backed up from your device and the right is a list of the currently existing databases.
    6- Highlight on the right side your Address book database and click the arrow in the middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information over and prepare it for back-up.
    7- Once the back-up has completed, hit the Clear button at the bottom to erase and clean out the entire Address book database.
    8- After it's finished, it will ask you if you want to save the back-up you've created, say yes and check the device to make sure the address book has been properly cleared out. Now, resync the necessary contact information and you should be set to go.
     However - after doing this, I got all my contacts. Then, I disconnected my device from my computer and went out. Well, I went to look up a number and it wasnt' there. An hour later it WAS there. Then, the bb seemed to be processing something and all of a sudden I'm getting duplicate entries all over the place.  It's almost like it keeps syncing over and over. Please help!
    Solved!

    I also just noticed that the Google sync they put on my BB at the store was set to sync contacts automatically! I wonder if this is what did it. I unchecked the option! Let's hope.
    That is very likely the exact problem.

  • TS3276 On received mail, I delete sender's name, address, etc. then forward it.  The forwarded mail has a duplicate of the original mail, show original sender's name, etc.  How to prevent the duplicate from being sent?

    How to prevent duplicate of orginal mail (with original sender's name, address) being "attached" when forwarded?

    Maybe I am mis-understanding what you are seeing.
    When I forward a message, the receiver will see the original mail (unless I edit it, such as removing any previous sender's information) and the length will be the same as the message was before forwarding except for the added line "Begin forwarded message" (again, unless I edit bits out), and there will be no attached copy of the original message.
    So when you say in your reply above "The orginal email with the sender's name and address was also sent with my forwarded email." do you mean:
    a) that it is still visible at the head of the text of the message (which I was saying does not happen for me because "after hitting delete, the previous sender's information disappears." [and since] "it has disappeared, it cannot be in your forwarded mail." Disappeared means it is not there.
    b) another copy of the original message is attached to the forwarded email at the end, either as an included file or as repeated text.
    c) some other situation.
    Sorry about the previous mis-spellings! I hope that we can get to the bottom of this.

  • Duplicate emails being sent, how to stop?

    Hello -
    I am running Mac OS X Server 10.3.9. We have been using mail and the mailman mailing lists for some time. All of a sudden, a user posted a message to one of the mailman groups (with about 140 members) and many of them have received 10-20 copies of the message. (not every user has recieved multiple copies)
    How can I track down what is stuck and get rid of it. I'm not sure where to find the message queues, or what steps to take.
    Thanks for any help,
    Eric

    Cool -
    Thanks for the help. I did the mailq option, looks like there are 7 things, I've pasted the output. Maybe you could tell me what it means, or If I have any messages pending. At this point, I'd just like to clear the slate and have nothing pending.
    Thanks again for your help.

    I am automating the process of sending appointment reminders to my clients. I started with an alert with an email in calendar using the clients email address as a custom entry in my me card in my contacts. this was resulting in three emails being sent with slightly different versions of the same address (see my previous post). Heating someone else's suggestion I created a workflow file to send an email and calling that file from an alert on my calendar. This is working and sends only one email to the client.
    My calendar is on I cloud and I access it from three different computers so I can keep my appointment calendar current. The files that send the email only exist on one computer. My other computers show error messages when those emails get sent. It seems that each computer wants to send the email. It's a small problem but is there a way that I could not get those alerts.
    But appreciate any thoughts about this. It seems like both problems might be related to the iCloud system.
    Thank you in advance,
    Michael

    Good work, catch so far Michael, does seem to be a "feature" of iCloud syncing, not sure what you could do to disable it.

  • Duplicate entry in AS2 EDIINT MIC table

    Hi,
    While sending a AS2 message to a partner, got an error saying  -
    Unable to create the entry in the AS2 EDIINT MIC table. This could be caused by duplicate AS2-From, AS2-To and MessageID combinations being written to the table.
    MSDN says that I need to delete the duplicate entry. As this happened in Test environment, I did the same and everything fine.
    But, in Production, I don't want to delete anything.
    So, can somebody help me on understanding the importance of MIC table i.e how it works and when/how duplicate transactions can happen in this table?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sugata

    Hi,
    As the error message reads the problem is due to a deadlock situation.
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5389261/sql-transaction-was-deadlocked
    http://www.toadworld.com/platforms/sql-server/b/weblog/archive/2012/05/16/transaction-process-id-was-deadlocked-on-resources-with-another-process-and-has-been-chosen-as-the-deadlock-victim-rerun-the-transaction.aspx
    Check with the above articles in which deadlock can be identifed and removed.

  • DUplicate entries in DB table

    Hi everyone
    I am a little confused by a situtation I have come across in one of our bespoke tables.  I was under the impression that all fields in a table that are marked as Key form a Primary Key and therefore it is <b>impossible</b> to create records where these key fields contain duplciate data.  However, I have found a bespoke table that is used for logging exception messages that appears to hold records with duplicates in the Key fields.  Has anyone else come across this or have any idea how it might be happening?  When creating a table is possible to specify a non-unique key in the same way you might for an internal table?! If it is relevant, the table is updated from a program that locks and unlocks the table before and afer the insert takes place and can be caused by both batch and manual changes.
    Thanks
    Andy

    Thanks Roopesh
    I understood the [ACCEPTING DUPLICATE KEYS] flag to mean that a a 'bulk' insert would not fail if a duplicate entry was identified but instead would set subrc to 4, skip the record in question and continue with subsequent records.  If this is the case it still should not actually create duplciate entries - surely in doing so referential integrity is being violated...
    Here is the section of code that performs the insert if that helps at all:
    *lock table and insert processing log details
    CALL FUNCTION 'ENQUEUE_EZLG_T024E'

    IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
             WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
    ENDIF.
    insert zlg_t024.
    * unlock table.
    CALL FUNCTION 'DEQUEUE_EZLG_T024E'
    EXPORTING
       MODE_ZLG_T024           = 'E'
       MANDT                   = SY-MANDT
       EMPLOYER_REG_NO         = zlg_t024-EMPLOYER_REG_NO
       GRANT_CLAIM_NO          = zlg_t024-GRANT_CLAIM_NO
       ITEM                    = zlg_t024-ITEM
    Kind regards

  • Deleting duplicate entries in iCal?

    How do I delete duplicate entries in iCal (identical entries on the same date)?

    Todd,
    I suspected a more serious problem because the answer was too easy.
    Thousands of duplicate entries...Is this what happened?
    According to, Mac OS X 10.4: Stay away from the SyncServices folder: As if it were a swarm of bees, you should stay away from the SyncServices folder in Mac OS X 10.4. Removing or modifying anything in it—or in subfolders within it—may cause unexpected issues. (This folder is located in your Application Support folder, in your Library folder, in your Home folder.)
    Deleting or modifying things in the SyncServices folder may cause unexpected results such as:
    • Duplicate contacts in Address Book or appointments in iCal.
    • Data loss in Address Book or iCal.
    Important: Any lost or duplicate data could propagate to other devices and computers via iSync and .Mac sync. This means data could be lost on other computers.If that is your problem, I suspect that without a backup, duplicate entry deletion will at best be tedious, and at worst fraught with frustration. You may be better off starting from scratch.

    I have another entry in my logs fro the same sender coming from the same IP which yields the same results. Strangely enough, there are other entries from the same sender coming from different IPs which are delivered just fine.
    The sender has stated that they only get the rejects when replying to emails from my domain, not when he sends fresh emails.
    Why would Exchange send the 550 5.7.1 in response to a DATA command when it responds with 354 Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF> to other DATA commands from a different server?
    Bit of an odd problem, any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    B. Colt

    Thanks for the input Mr. Crowley. I've dumped the Receive Connector configurations, everything seems to be at default values except for logging (I set it to verbose).

  • SPWebConfigModifications Duplicate entries, applying to all Web Applications and not removing entries

    Hi,
    Hopefully someone can offer some advice, I may be missing something obvious here.
    I'm currently trying to write a feature event receiver to apply web.config modifications that are required by a recent project.
    The feature is web application scoped & it doesn't activate by default on deployment, currently testing with a very small addition isn't working at all, I've followed numerous posts about duplicate entries & items being removed, none of which have
    helped.
    Here is my code;
    public override void FeatureActivated(SPFeatureReceiverProperties properties)
                SPWebApplication webApp = properties.Feature.Parent as SPWebApplication;
                    SPWebConfigModification Modification = new SPWebConfigModification();
                    Modification.Owner = "ConfigUpdater";
                    Modification.Path = "configuration/appSettings";
                    Modification.Name = "add[@key='Test']";
                    Modification.Sequence = 0;
                    Modification.Value = "<add key='Test' value='Server=TestServer;Database=TestDB;Trusted_Connection=True;' />";
                    Modification.Type = SPWebConfigModification.SPWebConfigModificationType.EnsureChildNode;
                    if (!webApp.WebConfigModifications.Contains(Modification))
                        webApp.WebConfigModifications.Add(Modification);
                        webApp.Update();
                        webApp.WebService.ApplyWebConfigModifications();
            // Uncomment the method below to handle the event raised before a feature is deactivated.
            public override void FeatureDeactivating(SPFeatureReceiverProperties properties)
                SPWebApplication webApp = properties.Feature.Parent as SPWebApplication;
                Collection<SPWebConfigModification> modsCollection = webApp.WebConfigModifications;
                int count = modsCollection.Count;
                for (int i = count - 1; i >= 0; i--)
                    SPWebConfigModification mod = modsCollection[i];
                    if (mod.Owner == "ConfigUpdater")
                        modsCollection.Remove(mod);
                webApp.Update();
                webApp.WebService.ApplyWebConfigModifications();
    Upon activation on 1 web app, the entry gets added twice to the web.config of every web application in the farm & upon deactivation the entries remain in the web.config files.
    On activation, after this line, webApp.WebConfigModifications.Add(Modification); the webApp is updated to include the entry & only once, however 2 entries for it appear in the web.config files & as mentioned for every web application.
    On deactivation, after updating the web app, the modification is removed, however it remains in the web.config files.
    I'm wondering if the code actually works, as I can't see anything wrong & if there is some caching occurring somewhere which is applying the extra line/s upon calling ApplyWebConfigModifications.
    Any help on this would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    James

    Hi James,
    Per my understanding, there is an entry gets added twice to the web.config file of every web application in the FeatureActivated event.
    As a common practice, I suggest you debug your code to see how it works during the process, it will provide more information for a better troubleshooting.
    Also, you can test the code in a Console Application to see if it will work as expected.
    Thanks

  • Re-sent Sent Email In Outlook 2010 Showing as Being Sent to the Previous Recipient

    When re-sending a previously sent item from within Outlook 2010, after a few seconds, the newly re-sent email is showing as being sent to the last recipient who the email is sent to. For example;
    I send an email to [email protected] I then want to send the email to [email protected].. so I click Sent Items, double click the email I have just sent, on the Message tab in the Move group, I click Actions and then click Resend This Message.
    I remove the original recipient and add the new recipient and click Send.
    I check my sent items a few seconds later and the newly sent email ([email protected]) is showing as being sent to [email protected] However, the re-sent email has actually be sent to the correct recipient.
    I would appreciate any advice on this.

    Hi,
    I assume this issue is related to the corrupted nickname cache. Does this issue occur with certain recipients? If so, I suggest you remove the nickname cache entries of these recipients:
    Open a new email message.
    Type the first few characters of the nickname cache entry that you want to remove from the cache.
    When the entry appears in the list of suggested names, move your mouse pointer over the name until it becomes highlighted, but do not click the name.
    When the “X” icon appears next to the highlighted name, click X to remove the name from the list.
    If this happens to all recipients, we can consider to reset the whole Outlook nickname cache for Outlook 2010:
    Open Outlook 2010.
    On the File tab, click Options.
    Click the Mail tab.
    Under Send Messages, click Empty Auto-Complete List.
    Click Yes.
    I hope the information is helpful to you.

  • Your Emitac Mobile Solutions LLC email service is deactivated, Email messages are no longer being sent to your Blackberry device

    Hi
    I just got this message yesterday: Your Emitac Mobile Solutions LLC email service is deactivated, Email messages are no longer being sent to your Blackberry device.
    And since then, i havent being able to set up more than one email and i subscribed for 4.
    I have rebooted\,, sent service books and hard set the phone so many times.
    What should i do?
    Thank you

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    From your post, I cannot quite tell if you did all of this, in exactly this way. Hence, with a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
    KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
    Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Delete and Resend Service Books
    KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
    If you have no CMIME entry, then skip the deletion
    KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Reboot
    With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
    See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your configurations for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
    Good luck!

  • Duplicate entry is not deleted from the TCA tables

    Hi
    We are using Oracle Customer Online to find the duplicate data and Oracle Data Librarian to remove the duplicacy. The request to remove the duplicates is taken up by ODL and the task is performed. When checked from OCO it shows that the duplicate entry has been erased but when checked in the TCA table HZ_PARITES, the entry is still there. Can anyone please help regarding this as why this is so... after removing the duplicate entry why is it still there in the table or if the entry is still there then why cant you access it through OCO
    Regards
    Sourav Biswas

    Hi,
    Did you check the value for "STATUS" column in HZ_PARTIES table for the deleted records? It must be "D" which reperesents "Deleted". See the "REGISTRY_STATUS" AR lookup which validates the Party Statuses.
    When duplicates are eliminated using Data Librarian/Party Merge, the records are not actually deleted from the database, instead the party status will be changed to "D". This must be the reason for not being able to see the records from Customers Online.
    I guess, the same case might have occurred to your entries.

  • Duplicate entry removal

    Currently the omcpany I work for runs corporate time 6. Now don't laugh, we still use netscape 4.8 and the included palm sync (Netscape Calendar Link for Palm Pilot, NCSetup v2). I have a OS 5 palm device. Once a week it seems my conduit craps out and I uninstall and reinstall on the desktop and sometimes the NCSetup on my palm. I then end up with duplicate entries. Is there an automated way to remove duplicates in Corporate Time? My wokr around it to take the palm home sync it using the palm desktop and use the duplicate removal tool. Then bring the Palm to work resync and hope most of the duplicates get removed. We are getting ready to move to Thunderbird. And there is little I can do to influence the IT decisions.

    Hi 52779,
    I'm not sure if this configuration is still supported, but if duplicates are being created, it could be due to a myriad of possibilities, many of which are Palm limitations.
    The oldest supported client is CorporateTime 5.4 (until december), and Oracle Calendar sync for Palm, 3.0.
    There is no automated way to accomplish this, as these meetings are not considered duplicates in the database, but were somehow created as new, replicas of the original, with a distinct UID.
    The method you describe is as good as any...best regards.
