Duplicate Header on pagination error?

Hi guys,
I am running into an issue and maybe one of you has a solution.
I need to have the header stick to items when paginating and not show on first page or duplicate headers on the second page.
The table is made of subforms.
When the table is at the bottom of the page and the content is sent on the next page:
1. if I set the header as Keep With: Next, I'll see two headers on the second page. Not good.
2. If I uncheck the Keep With: Next, the header is shown on the first page without any items underneath, and all is ok on the second page. i.e. items body has only one header. I don't want to show an empty header on the first page.
It's probably obvious but I just can't see it.
Thanks,
Paul

Still trying without success.
Here's an image of how things look:
[http://i56.tinypic.com/xcj5tx.jpg|http://i56.tinypic.com/xcj5tx.jpg]
I tried all possible permutations I could think of, but either I get the above result, or only one header, or a duplicate header on the second page.
Thanks,
Paul

  • BUG -- Column filtering bug in Apex 4.1 causing pagination error?

    Hi All,
    I'm getting a pagination error, when filtering from the column header in an Interactive Report.
    Report error:
    Invalid set of rows requested, the source data of the report has been modified.
    Reset Pagination*
    The steps to recreate:
    1. Run an Interactive Report
    2. Click the next button to go to the second page of data.
    3. From the column header select a data element that will return less than 15 rows. Note -- if the there are 15 or more rows of data, the error will not occur.
    The Report will fail with the error shown above.
    Note that the same error does not occur if you use the filter from the Action menu. This appears to be a bug in the column filtering.
    It looks like the pagination needs to be reset after the column filter, but how is this done?
    I'm using the canned interactive report with no customizations. Is there a fix for this issue?
    Thanks

    This «bug» is known for a long time unfortunately...
    I never find any solution for IR report filtering.
    Maybe you can use some JQuery to change the link when clicking a value in the list, (add a code that will update pagination).
    Something like :
    $('#apexir_rollover_content').load(function() {
         $(this).find('a').click(function(){
              gReport.search('SEARCH');
    });But I don't think it will work, as they already use JQuery to bind that <a> events.
    In case you update your report using a button, you can simply use a "reset pagination" process called on button click.
    In case you use column link you simply have to tick the «Reset Pagination» checkbox.
    I hope Apex team will fix that one day.
    Good luck.

    Hi Guys,
    Can any one tell me which values of EBM Header maps to error notification entry in AIA console for sending notification to user created ?
    What elements in EBM Header maps to this fields *(SYSTEM CODE, ERROR CODE, SERVICE NAME, and PROCESS_NAME)* in Error notification in AIA Console for sending notification to a particular user other than AIAIntegrationAdmin?

    Hi Gerhard,
    I tried to send notification using feature available in AIA FP whenever remote and binding fault happened to user SysAdmin creatred in Admin console under user & groups.
    I have done the below configuration
    1. Made entry in AIA console under error notification (Error code : blank service name: SampleBpel system code : sys process name: SampleBpel Role: SysAdmin FYIRole: SysAdmin).
    2. configured email driver properties and work flow notification properties.
    3. made entry in http://localhost:7001/sdpmessaging/userprefs-ui/ with user logged in SysAdmin and entered mail-id.
    4. Populated EBM Header with the below values
    <part name="AIAFault">

  • Heading level hierarchy errors when topics are in TOC more than once

    I have discovered that the hierarchy in the Heading levels in
    the Printed Documentation will differ from than in my online help
    table of contents hierarchy, and that the problem is due to topics
    that are intentionally in the TOC more than once.
    For example, in chapter 5 of a particular help system the
    hierarchy should be:
    Heading 1 < Chapter 5 title from top-level book>
    Heading 2 <title of second level book>
    Heading 3 <title of topic that appears under second-level
    book>*
    What I actually get is:
    Heading 1 < Chapter title from top-level book>
    Heading 2 <title of second level book>
    Heading 4 <title of topic that appears under second-level
    book>*
    * This same topic appeared in an earlier chapter. In that
    chapter it was really at a Heading 4 level.
    Due to company styles, etc. we use a numbering system at the
    headings and in the TOC, so instead of
    5
    5.1
    5.1.1
    I erroneously get
    5
    5.1
    5.1.1.1
    This type of hierarchy issue appears multiple times in this
    particular document (which I inherited by the way.)
    Other than restructuring the document to not reuse topics in
    different places in the TOC, is there a solution or a workaround
    for this problem?
    What I am doing so far, is generating the Print Documentation
    one chapter at a time. As long as a topic is not reused with the
    same chapter, my hierarchy of heading levels is maintained;
    otherwise, it is not. Then I can put the chapters back together
    after fixing the few places that still have heading level problems.
    This however, will be quite cumbersome as this document is
    translated into nine other languages.
    I am using RoboHelp X5 for Word / Word 2003 for the source
    and most of the translations; RoboHelp Asian Edition, Simplified
    Chinese / Word 2003 for the Chinese translation. The heading level
    hierarchy error occurs in both versions.

    >> AF: I've commented in sections...
    Without Maintain Heading Levels, RH will apply heading levels
    to the books and then the topic levels will get bumped down. So a
    top level book will be Heading 1 and the Headings in the topic will
    get bumped down to 2, 3 and 4 etc. If then you have another book
    one level down so that it gets Heading 2 applied, the same topic
    but under the level two book would then get 3, 4 and 5 applied.
    That is not the original problem but hopefully we are agreed
    that is how things work on that.
    >> Yes - that is the expected behavior. When it didn't
    happen as expected, that's what led me to the discovery of the
    cause of the problem (topic reuse).
    Your problem was that firstly Heading 3 got bumped to Heading
    4 if the same topic was inserted into the TOC twice. I assume it
    was OK in the first instance, or is it that when you add it twice
    it goes wrong everywhere?
    >> Your assumption is correct. First occurrence is
    correct. Second, third, and fourth (yes - there is one topic that
    is used 4 times! ) are not correct based on TOC hierarchy.
    On the numbering, nothing surprises me. If you look at my
    site you will see that for RH HTML, i gave up on getting it right.
    I have had many queries on this and more than a few people have
    indicated they will work on the problem and get it working. I'm
    still waiting. There are many posts about outline numbering
    problems. Has anyone got it working satisfactorily?
    >> I don't really have numbering problems. The
    numbering is following the RoboHelp-generated hierarchy and the
    .dot template that I apply. It's just that the RH-generated
    hierarchy and its heading levels don't correspond to the "real"
    hierarchy because of the reuse issue.
    I have seen various Word gurus maintain that numbering has
    not worked entirely satisfactorily since Word 2! Also enough posts
    to convince me this is a Word issue, not a RH issue.
    If you want to create a new project and knock something up
    that demonstrates this problem, by all means zip it up and send it.
    I'll assume it will be a small project and zip to less than 5mb. If
    more, contact me first.
    >> Unless you have RoboHelp X3 Asian Edition,
    Simplified Chinese, there is really no need. I plan to either avoid
    the reuse issue in the source, or build the print doc in sections
    which is easy enough in RoboHelp X5 for the non-Chinese languages.
    It is in the older Asian edition where the problems are compounded
    by the omitted reuse topics. If you do have RoboHelp X3 Asian
    Edition, Simplified Chinese and want to experiment, I can send you
    a cut-down version of the project. Don't feel obligated though;
    unless you can read Chinese (I can't) it is very tedious to work
    with.

  • IR Reset pagination error while filtering

    Hi,
    - In my IR report when I have 100 records and I go to the last record by clicking next , next, ...
    - then I click any column header and do a filter (by selecting any one vallue from the drop down list)
    - as soon as I do that.. I get "Reset Pagination" link and then I have to click this link to go to the first page of the new search.
    Is this a APEX bug? OR
    is there any way .. as soon as I select any value from the column header list, the control should directly go to first page without clicking the "Reset Pagination".
    Thanks,
    Deepak

    Helo
    It's not a bug. If you go thru report page by page... You reach some number of page report for example 20. Next you filter a report. Filter cut report to 10 repor page, but you are on 20-th page still... Error ocured. You have to reset pagination :)

    BWer,
    We have exactly the same issue when loading the infoobject 0PM_ORDER, the datasource is 0PM_ORDER_ATTR.
    The workaround we have been using is 'Manual push' from the details tab of the monitor. Weirdly we don't have this issue in our test and dev systems, even in Production, this doesn't occur somedays. We have all the necessary settings enabled in the infopackage.
    Did you figure out a solution for your issue, if so please let me know and likewise I will.

  • Duplicate payments and general error advice

    In EBS 11 what is the best way to identify duplicate payments?
    I am not from an accountancy background but what happens if someone identifies a duplicate payment, is there any data in the database that may show "it was dealt with"?
    Also, aside from genuine error duplicate payments - what other checks and areas should be analyzed to check the business hasnt lost money through error? Any tips?

    Hello.
    Can you please explain your idea in more detail?
    EBS does not allow to enter duplicate payments.

  • SOAP Sender with additional header: Interface determination error

    Hello Experts,
    I need to implement a scenario where in sender will add custom header fields and in PI, the values needs to captured. Second step: Based on the custom header value, the receiver needs to be determined.
    Scenario: SOAP Sender -> PI -> SOAP Receiver
    Request Message:
    <RequestMsg>
         <request>
              <Field 1>...</Field 1>
              <Field 2>...</Field 2>
              <Field 3>...</Field 3>
         </request>
    </RequestMsg>
    Without any custom SOAP header, I have created Request / Response Message, Message Mapping, Service Interfaces (Inbound & Outbound) and Operation Mapping and tested the scenario by triggering call through SOAP UI, it works fine. SOAP Request XML looks like below:
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:v1="http://www.test.abc.com/v1">
        <soapenv:Header />
        <soapenv:Body>
          <v1:RequestMsg>
             <request>
                  <Field 1>1</Field 1>
                   <Field 2>2</Field 2>
                   <Field 3>3</Field 3>
             </request>
          </v1:RequestMsg>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    To use customer fields in SOAP Header, I have checked the option "Do Not Use SOAP Envelope" in the SOAP Sender CC and added "&nosoap=true" to url. SOAP Request XML looks like below:
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:v1="http://www.test.abc.com/v1">
        <soapenv:Header >
              <id>REC1</id>
         </soapenv:Header >
        <soapenv:Body>
          <v1:RequestMsg>
             <request>
                  <Field 1>1</Field 1>
                   <Field 2>2</Field 2>
                   <Field 3>3</Field 3>
             </request>
          </v1:RequestMsg>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    Now, when I invoke the url, I see that the message reaches PI but it throws error: RoutingException: InterfaceDetermination did not yield any actual interface
    Please note that I have added a Java Mapping before main message mapping to read the soap header and pass only the request message to the next message mapping.
    I am sure, I am missing important steps in the configuration. Please help me in reolving the issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ankit Srivastava

    Hello Hareesh,
    Bingo! The second option suggested by Nicolas worked like a charm. I am just copying the same here:
    -----In ESR, you set the attribute "Interface Pattern" of the outbound service interface as "Stateless (XI30-compatible)", which does not use operations.----
    Thanks a lot. Now, I will be able to concentrate on the next steps.

  • Head Office field error in Vendor Master

    Hello,
    I am trying to extend an existing vendor master in new company code. But I am getting an error that the "Head Office and CCN combination does not exist". However the same combination is valid in another company code. Please tell me where is Head Office linked with the Company code?
    The system asks for the Head Office field only when I use certain Acct Group, since the Field status variant is set up as "required" for this field in SPRO settings. But I cannot change this global settings. I have to choose appropriate Head Office number to be able to create the Vendor master. Please help !!!!!
    Thanks !!!!!!!!!

    Hello,
    Copy the account group to another account group.
    Field Status for that new copied account group - change from "required" to "optional".
    Create vendor on new account group.

    Hi experts.
    I have a table section pagination issue. In my case the table section combines 3 header rows.
    Down bellow the series of screenshots I hope they describe my example well (click on screenshots to enlarge).
    1) The data context
    2) Layout elements
    Here is my issue (table header output at the end of the page but there is no data row):
    As you can see on the first page there is no more place for a data row but the header still exists.
    if I set keep with next flag on the pagination tab for all header rows the result will be:
    Is it possible somehow to fix it?
    I would like to have the header row output on the page only if a data row exists bellow the header, the footer should only output if a data row exists above.
    Here is PDF output:

    The solutions is easy. You´d better create the corresponding DDIC objects hierarchy in the backend and then use the form to PRINT the prepared data ONLY. I mean:
    In your backend:
    in a row there is a dataset (table) and a optional dataset (table) == DDIC structure with two "fields" of type "table" = row A
    use this "row" to create the "outer" table == DDIC table type with row A
    Then you can just drag and drop this structure in your adobe form and will have do difficult with formatting.

  • I dont really think that the math header has syntax errors.

    Hi,
    This is a very serious accusation from make.
    Mini:Evaluator develop$ make
    bison -d grammar.y
    grammar.y: conflicts: 24 shift/reduce
    flex rules.l
    cc -0 -o Evaluator grammar.tab.c lex.yy.c -ly -ll -lm
    In file included from grammar.y:3:
    /usr/include/architecture/i386/math.h:310: error: syntax error before numeric constant
    /usr/include/architecture/i386/math.h:355: error: syntax error before numeric constant
    make: * [Evaluator] Error 1
    Mini:Evaluator develop$
    Any ideas as to why I would be getting these two errors?

    Often it is because you forgot a semicolon or something in the header file before, or the source file. Eliminate files (or lines) one by one until the error goes away.
