Duplicate t:dataTable

hello,
i have a problem with t:dataTable. this table is in a page. when i enter the page sometimes i see the datatable twice and connected. only the fields of the data table are duplicated. not the headers.
i erased the all page and checked only the datatable alone. still it was duplicated sometimes.
there is no logic to the duplication. it sometimes duplicated and sometimes not.
the columns are shown twice. like this:
description name description name
the code looks like this
<t:dataTable id="phases" binding="#{bean.phasesTable} var="phase" sortable="true" value="{bean.someList}"
sortasceding="false" rowindexVar="rowindex">
<t:column>
<t:outputText value="#{phase.name}"/>
</t:column>
<t:column>
<t:outputText value="#{phase.description}"/>
</t:column>
</t:dataTable>
this is not the exact code but it represents the important stuff.
some worth mentioning points:
1.the bean is in session scope.
2.the binding is to UIData
3.in my project i have hundreds of this kind of tables and it never happened.
4.the id is unique in the all project.
5.the binding is unique in the all project.
6.the var is unique in the all project.
i tried few things:
1. change the binding to HtmldataTable from UIData.
2. take the binding out of the bean and put it in a request scope bean and then use it
through the the original bean.
like this: bean.requestBean.phasesTable.
3.remove the binding - i think it helped. i couldnt see the table duplicated again but i'm not sure if it actually helped because it is a very random bug... even if this is the problem i need this binding in order to press a button and getRowData(get the selected row).
the problem is in the t:datatable for sure because it's the only thing left on the page.
what can i do?

Hi,
"This seems like a major bug to me and as a result we cannot continue with our application until it is resolved or a workaround is provided."
h:grid is not our component but belongs to the reference implementation by SUN. So you may want to file a bug with them to get it fixed. Alternatively yóu could try and set a custom ID yourself. I think the iterator has a varStatus property that you can set e.g to status and then get #{status.index} for each row (have a look at the tag documentation). If this doesn't work for the iterator then it does for af:forEach

    foreach (DataRow row in dt.Rows)

  • Duplicate Check In ML81N

    Hi ALl
    We have a custom requirement from our client to have a duplicate check
    in ML81N tcode at the entry or before saving the document. The
    duplicate check to be set on the fields Reference no (XBLNR) & external sheet number (LBLNE)
    such that for the entered purchase order number  and service entry sheet  if refrence no and external sheet number already exists , it should throw error
    message "SE already exists for entered ref no & sheet number ".
    We looked into the system & available SAP forum's for the User exits
    and enhancements on ML81N which will meet our requirements, but cldnt

  • Removing Duplicates from a choose from list

    Hi All,
    I have a choose from list of obj 73 )Catalog Numbers (Table OSCN)
    I also added conditions in the CFL that it only shows the Substitute for the CardType = 'S' (Supllier) Business Partners.
    But I want to remove all the duplicate Substitutes from the CFL so that only distinct Catalog Numbers shows in the CFL.
            //  Adding 2 CFL, one for the button and one for the edit text.
                    oCFLCreationParams.MultiSelection = false;
                    oCFLCreationParams.ObjectType = "73";
                    oCFLCreationParams.UniqueID = "CFL1";
                    oCFL = oCFLs.Add(oCFLCreationParams);
                    //Adding Conditions to CFL1
                    oCons = oCFL.GetConditions();
                    oCon = oCons.Add();
                    oCon.Alias = "Substitute";
                    SAPbobsCOM.Recordset oSuppliers = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.BoRecordset);
                    oSuppliers.DoQuery("Select Distinct t1.Substitute From OSCN t1 Join OCRD t2 on t1.CardCode = t2.CardCode Where t2.CardType = 'S' Group By t1.Substitute");
                    oCon.Operation = SAPbouiCOM.BoConditionOperation.co_EQUAL;
                    while (!oSuppliers.EoF)
                        oCon.CondVal = oSuppliers.Fields.Item(0).Value.ToString();
                        oCon.Relationship = SAPbouiCOM.BoConditionRelationship.cr_OR;
                        oCon = oCons.Add();
                        oCon.Alias = "Substitute";
                        oCon.Operation = SAPbouiCOM.BoConditionOperation.co_EQUAL;
                        oSuppliers.MoveNext();
                    oCFL.SetConditions(oCons);
    Please advise....
    Kind Regards,
    Brenden Draper

    Hi Brenden,
    what you are trying to archieve won't work. Simply because CFL is getting all row data from  OSCN and ItemCode or CardCode can differ for a specific substitute.
    For example.
    ItemCode,CardCode,Substitute
    ItemA,BP1,sub1
    ItemA,BP2,sub1
    Would be 2 resultlines both with sub1 as substitute.
    SQL equivalent :
    Select Distinct t0.* from oscn t0 inner join OCRD t1 on t0.CardCode = t1.CardCode where t1.CardType = 'S'
    My advise would be to open a simple form with a grid and datatable bound.
    Some lines of coding and you get all you need.
    regards,
    Maik

  • Getting duplicate key Exception in java server faces

    I am getting duplicate key exception at some places in my JSF page .I have done the debugging of the java code but I didnt find any error in the code. Problem is occurring at the time of rendering the JSF page. I have done R&D on that but I am unable to find the solution. When JSF is rendering qualPersonResultTable in the page at that time I am getting Exception. I have visited the number of firm those were suggesting to assign the ID to all the component in the JSF which I have done but still I am getting the same error. In the database all the value are unique are there is primary key so there is only problem in rendering the JSF page.Exception is as follows :

  • JSF 1.2 DataTable management during view creation

    Hi all, I have a question on how JSF 1.2 manages DataTable exactly. Consider this table (suppose that tableList.persone has 3 items):
    <h:dataTable id="tablePersone" value="#{tableList.persone}" var="item">
    <h:column>
              <f:facet name="header">
              <h:outputText value="STATO" />
              </f:facet>
              <h:inputText value="#{item.stato}" />
         </h:column>
         <h:column>
              <f:facet name="header">
              <h:outputText value="CODICE" />
              </f:facet>
              <h:inputText value="#{item.codice}" />
         </h:column>
    </h:dataTable>
    I read that jsf iterates over the items of the list during the render response phase, in fact, "item" is not available when the view is built.
    Does it means that jsf does not duplicate the content of the table for each item in the list when creating the tree component?
    In the table above, each row has 2 inputText. If jsf does not create a couple of inputText objects for each row, how jsf handles all the 6 request parameters when the form is submitted (in particular during the apply request values phase).
    Thanks a lot,
    Nico

    I could be really mean right now in my answer.
    I did not even have to post anything, i choose to use MyFaces 1.2.1 and scraped JSF 1.2_06 SUN RI out of my projects lib folder.
    Sorry dude that's the reality, the exceptions the SUN RI threw does not help me in trying to work on real life applications.
    You know i have read that Sun RI implementation is probably best out there since work began on the 1.2 spec way before Apache MyFaces started, hence potentially less buggy.
    I picked up the latest code from SUN RI and encountered at least 3 exceptions that are very low level and hard to mitigate.
    While without any JSF pages modifications i plugged in MyFaces 1.2.1-Snapshot and not a single NullPointerException or a failure.
    I just want to reflect here on this situation because i have been always defending SUN and it's work against other packages
    but my situation with upgrading from 1.1 to JSF 1.2 really puts a dent in my conviction
    specially where UI is such a risky business for us developers in the Web industry.
    this Forum probably is taking me longer then if i just logged the issue against RI.
    But my point is that when such frameworks are being developed they should be tested against real large applications under many industry problems.
    I am after getting this point across, because right now i don't care if you these exceptions are being fixed i dumped your packages anyway.
    Now i know MyFaces have their own problems, but at this moment they are not my issues, my project works using their implementation and that's the story .

  • DataTable of links

    I want to create a table with a column containing a hyper link to another pagebased on a row value from my results:
    <tr>
    <td><a href="edit.jsf?id=val">edit</a></td>
    <td>...</td>
    </tr>I've tried:
    <h:dataTable value="#{UserBean.users}" var="user">
         <h:column>
              <h:commandLink value="#{user.name}" action="#{UserBean.getUser}">edit</h:commandLink>
         </h:column>
         <h:column>
              <h:outputText value="#{user.name}" />
         </h:column>
    </h:dataTable>But I get the error:
    javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Duplicate component ID '_id0:_id1:_id5' found in view.
         at com.sun.faces.taglib.jsf_core.ViewTag.doAfterBody(ViewTag.java:171)
         at _users._jspService(_users.java:199)
         [SRC:/users.jsp:40]What am I doing wrong?
    Cheers,
    Anthony

    I'm not sure why you're getting that error, but take a look at the DataModel class for clicking on a link inside of table, it works nicely, rather than having to append the params manually to the link.
    Basically, you wrap your collection with DataModel dm, then point the table at your DataModel. Then, with the method that your commandLink action calls, you have dm.getRowData() available which will return you the object from your collection that was clicked.
    I'm not sure if I explained it very well, but it works very nicely :)

  • Duplicate call

    I have been coding in JSF for 2/3 years now, but never read a book on, been learning as I go. I do have a book now to try further my understanding of what happens behind the scenes but I'm rather perplexed at this code below, I can not understand why it does what it does. Depending on how fast the getReceivers() method runs, I very often get duplicate rows displayed which is the problem, plus even if it does display ok, it still means the database is getting hit twice.
    Q's
    1) So my questions are, why is this called twice?
    2) How do I stop it being called twice?
    TIA,

What I don't know is why, and how do I stop this.Bean getters can indeed be invoked more than once in bean's life. Bean getters are purely intented to return data, not to load data. You normally use the bean class constructor, or init block, or lazy loading, or action(event) methods for this.

    That said, the name of your ' PooledConnectionHelper' class scares me... At that stage in the code you normally really shouldn't worry about if it is a pooled connection or a normal connection. This is honestly a smell.

  • Remove duplicates in audit report

    Hi All,
    I used below code to get recent uploaded documents in all document libraries of site collection.But  when i uploaded a document in a doc library in the grid two documents are uploaded one duplicate is adding.How can i remove this duplicate.Please help
    where i need to change the code.
    using (SPSite site = Spcontext.current.site())
                    using (SPWeb web = site.OpenWeb())
                        SPAuditQuery query = new SPAuditQuery(site);
                        query.SetRangeEnd(DateTime.Now);
                        query.SetRangeStart(DateTime.Now.AddDays(-2));
                        SPAuditEntryCollection auditCol = web.Audit.GetEntries(query);
                        DataTable dt = new DataTable();
                        dt.Columns.Add("Document");
                        dt.Columns.Add("Author");
                        dt.Columns.Add("Date");
                        foreach (SPAuditEntry audit in auditCol)

                        UploadsGV.DataSource = dt;
                        UploadsGV.DataBind();
    Regards,
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen
    before adding row to data table check whether document is already present or not in the datable ,if yes then replace or do not add to datable or if no then add to data table.
    so your function will be like
    bool isExists(datatable dt,string value)
    String sExpression ="Document == '"+value+ "'";
    DataRow[] drFound;
    drFound =dt.Select(sExpression);
    if (dr!=null && dr.Length  >0)
    return true;
    return false;
    call this as
    if(!isExist())
            dt.Rows.Add(Convert.ToString(site.Url + "/" + audit.DocLocation),
    Convert.ToString(web.AllUsers.GetByID(audit.UserId).Name), audit.Occurred);

    I created a datatable in SE11 with 4 columns and i need to update data into it using ABAP can u please help me on this.
    Regards,
    naveen

    Hi Naveen,
    You can use the command INSERT <dbtab> FROM TABLE <itab> to create several rows in a database table.
    The internal table <itab> that you should specify here must have the same line structure as the corresponding database table and the new data records. The client field that might exist in the internal table <itab> will only be taken into consideration if the CLIENT SPECIFIED addition is specified. If there is no CLIENT SPECIFIED addition, the current execution client applies. If it is possible to create all the lines, sy-subrc is automatically set to zero.If, however, even one data record cannot be created, a runtime error occurs. This means that the entire insertion operation is discarded (database rollback). If, in such a case, you want to have records that can be inserted actually inserted, use the command addition ACCEPTING DUPLICATE KEYS. If there is an error, this addition suppresses the runtime error (and thus also the database rollback), sets the return code (sy-subrc) to 4, and inserts all the records without errors.The sy-dbcnt system field contains the number of rows that were successfully inserted in the database.

  • Avoiding null and duplicate values using model clause

    Hi,
    I am trying to use model clause to get comma seperated list of data : following is the scenario:
    testuser>select * from test1;
    ID VALUE
    1 Value1
    2 Value2
    3 Value3
    4 Value4
    5 Value4
    6
    7 value5
    8
    8 rows selected.
    the query I have is:
    testuser>with src as (
    2 select distinct id,value
    3 from test1
    4 ),
    5 t as (
    6 select distinct substr(value,2) value
    7 from src
    8 model
    9 ignore nav
    10 dimension by (id)
    11 measures (cast(value as varchar2(100)) value)
    12 rules
    13 (
    14 value[any] order by id =
    15 value[cv()-1] || ',' || value[cv()]
    16 )
    17 )
    18 select max(value) oneline
    19 from t;
    ONELINE
    Value1,Value2,Value3,Value4,Value4,,value5,
    what I find is that this query has duplicate value and null (',,') coming in as data has null and duplicate value. Is there a way i can avoid the null and the duplicate values in the query output?
    thanks,

    Hi,
    Try this code.
    with
    t as ( select substr(value,2)value,ind
            from test1
            model
            ignore nav
            dimension by (id)
            measures (cast(value as varchar2(100)) value, 0 ind)
            rules
            ( ind[any]=  instr(value[cv()-1],value[cv()]),
            value[any] order by id = value[cv()-1] || CASE WHEN value[cv()] IS NOT NULL
                                               and ind[cv()]=0     THEN ',' || value[cv()] END
    select max(value) oneline
    from t;
    SQL> select * from test1;
            ID VALUE
             1 Value1
             2 Value2
             3 Value3
             4 Value4
             5 Value4
             6
             7 value5
             8
    8 ligne(s) sélectionnée(s).
    SQL> with
      2   t as ( select substr(value,2)value,ind
      3          from test1
      4          model
      5          ignore nav
      6          dimension by (id)
      7          measures (cast(value as varchar2(100)) value, 0 ind)
      8          rules
      9          ( ind[any]=  instr(value[cv()-1],value[cv()]),
    10          value[any] order by id = value[cv()-1] || CASE WHEN value[cv()] IS NOT NULL
    11                                             and ind[cv()]=0     THEN ',' || value[cv()] END

  • Problem with duplicate and/or outlined fonts in Macintosh

    If you are using Frame for Macintosh and you find you have duplicate Arial and/or Times New Roman fonts, or, if these fonts show up on the screen as outlines, the problem may be that you have the 2.9x versions of these fonts, the latest as of this writing (31 August).
    You can find older 2.60 versions on the Apple OS 9.2 Install CD, deep in a Microsoft Internet Explore install folder (a Sherlock search will find them).
    DEAD LINK, LEFT HERE FOR HISTORICAL PURPOSES: In case you're interested, you can find the 2.9x versions at http://www.microsoft.com/mac/download/office2001/fontsupdate.asp. The page says "New Apple Macintosh versions of Times New Roman (2.91) and Arial (2.90) This update includes a fix for a problem that prevented certain characters from being printed on PostScript level 3 printers", so I'm hesitant to say that you should not use these newer fonts at all.

    i had been running the program inside Netbeans.
    Running the jar using the command line outside
    Netbeans i have no more problems... Does Netbeans use
    it's own JVM?Depends how you set it up, but look under the options. There are settings for the compiler and jvm that it uses.

  • Duplicate records for Sale Order Cycle Report(excluding item level detail)

    I have posted this issue in number of forums but till today no one is able to answer it correctly.Here it is:
    I need to create a report which I think most of the sd consultants have also done it.It basically covers sales order cycle without item lvel detail such as:
    Sale Order No -- Sales Order Date-- Delivery No-- Delivery Date
    Now as we all know ,sales orders and deliveries are connected through item table which means in the output I will get duplicate rows for the report above.For Example, if a sales order share 3 items with the delivery then we will get 3 exact duplicate rows in the report.
    What can be the best solution?connecting through VBFA has alos same result as it also has item level details.
    I need a good solution.This a common report and there must be some solution

    Hiiii,
    It is standard SAP rule that system will catch the document flow (document link history) at item level.
    Now your problem that you dont want to show the line item based report because of duplicacy.
    Try this.
    Brows table VBFA -
    In screen selection select the following......
    1. Subsiquent document category
    2. Preceding item
    select "J" in Subsiquent document category
    and "000010" in Preceding item  then execute the table.
    Now system will not show multple line item based delivery report. so No duplicacy will be there

  • How can i use one datatable inside the other?

    Hi all,
    i need help ... i have this page that shows information from a relational table... for example a mapped table "Countries" that has a java.util.Set inside named "Cities" and i would like 2 know how can i do this using jsf...
    The display would be like this:
    Brasil
    Rio de Janeiro
    Sao Paulo
    USA
    New York
    Washington
    New Orleans
    And Goes on... So i guess it would be a dataTable inside the other, right? but i dunno how to do it...
    Thanks for any info. cya

    this is somehow a messy example. But just focus on the var attribute of outer datatable and how value attribute of inner datatable is referencing it.
    <h:dataTable id="table1" value="#{pc_City_state.listofstates.states}" var="varstates" styleClass="dataTable">
                   <h:column id="column1">
                        <f:facet name="header">
                             <h:outputText styleClass="outputText" value="StateName" id="text2"></h:outputText>
                        </f:facet>
                        <h:outputText id="text3" value="#{varstates.stateName}" styleClass="outputText">
                        </h:outputText>
                   </h:column>
                   <h:column id="column3">
    <f:facet name="header">
    </f:facet>
              <h:dataTable id="table2" value="#{varstates.cities}" var="varcities" styleClass="dataTable">
                                       <f:facet name="footer">
                                       </f:facet>
                                       <h:column id="column4">
              <f:facet name="header">
              <h:outputText styleClass="outputText" value="CityName" id="text6"></h:outputText>
              </f:facet>
              <h:outputText id="text7" value="#{varcities.cityName}" styleClass="outputText">
              </h:outputText></h:column>
              </h:dataTable>
    </h:column>
    </h:dataTable>
