Dynamic LOV with dates and selected default value

Hello,
I have a dynamic lov with dates. Query looks like this:
select distinct concat(to_char(b.send_day_time,'YYYY.MM.DD HH24'),':00') display_value, to_char(b.send_day_time,'YYYY.MM.DD HH24') return_value
from ...
No I want to select a specific date as the default value. I put the following code for the default value:
declare
begin
return to_char ('2008.02.19 10:00');
end;
But it doesn't work.The date (string) exists in the lov but it is not selected.
Can someone tell me where the problem is?
Thx in advance.
Greetings,
hamburger

Hi hamburger,
As return value you specified to_char(b.send_day_time,'YYYY.MM.DD HH24'),
so your default value should be like to_char('2008.02.19 10'). Also pay attention to select the "Default Value Type".
Hope this helps.

  • Dynamic List of Checkboxes and their Default Values

    Hello,
    I have spent more than five hours feebly attempting to figure out how to make a dynamic list of checkboxes (using an LOV) adhere to the values in the database which those checkboxes represent. The LOV itself works; I can get a nice list of checkboxes with the appropriate names, but I can't get HTML DB to check the boxes that have a value of 'Y' in the database. The code for my LOV follows:
    SELECT mesg_name n, mesg_id r
    FROM notifications
    WHERE mesg_id = (SELECT mesg_id
                      FROM subscriptions
                      WHERE upper(network_id) = upper(:APP_USER))Since this is a dynamic list of checkboxes, I obviously cannot use the "Label" property to set the labels of each checkbox. That is what n is in the query above. r is the unique ID of the message (a varchar2) that I will need to pass back to the program after the page is submitted by the user for processing. I cannot take up the value field of the checkbox with a "Y" or something as equally vague. The ID of the subscription that the user is subscribing to or unsubscribing to must be passed back to the program so the appropriate modifications to the database table can be made.
    I would most appreciate it if anyone could lend assistance.
    Thank you,
    Marc Weil

    Marc,
    I think I see what you're trying to do. You'll have to separate process that renders the LOV as a series of check boxes from the process that sets the checked values for each user.
    Before the LOV is rendered on a page, make sure you set the session state value of the LOV item to a colon separated set of IDs based on your query:
    SELECT mesg_id
    FROM subscriptions
    WHERE upper(network_id) = upper(:APP_USER)
    If you have trouble, let me know, I'll try to come up with an example.

  • Dynamic LOV with where conditions

    Hi all! I have a question regarding Dynamic LOVs. I have a List of values that can be used from three pages, the query is something like this:
    SELECT a.CODE CODE_DISPLAY,
    a.CODE CODE_RETURN
    FROM OREF_COUNTRIES a,
    OREF_REGIONS b
    WHERE a.REG_ID = b.ID AND
    b.CODE = :P336_LOV_REGION;
    The thing is I don't want to hardcode the name of the item ":P336_LOV_REGION" because this is the name of 1 item of one page, and I'd like to use this LOV from another two pages, so the name of the item won't be ":P336_LOV_REGION". How can I create a reusable dynamic LOV with a where condition depending on one item of the page?
    Thanks!!

    hi! anyone has any information about this?
    Daniela.

  • Fill the LOV with data during the execution

    Hi
    I am using Oracle 10g
    I want to ask please if there is a way to fill the LOV with data during the execution
    so can I change the query specified in LOV wizard during the execution and get a new record set according to the value in the text boxes
    thank you for help

    You can use the SET_LOV_PROPERTY built-in to change the record group of the LOV and to create a new record group you can use the CREATE_GROUP_FROM_QUERY built-in.
    it will be something like this.
    RG_ID := FIND_GROUP('<record group name>');
      IF NOT ID_NULL(RG_ID) THEN
           DELETE_GROUP(RG_ID);
      END IF ;
      RG_ID := CREATE_GROUP_FROM_QUERY('<record group name>', '<your SQL statement here>');
      POP_GROUP := POPULATE_GROUP('<record group name>');
      SET_LOV_PROPERTY('<LOV name>', GROUP_NAME, '<record group name>');Use the online help for more information about these built-ins.

    Change Slider and NumericStepper default value
    http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-18380 - FxHSlider and FxVSlider have default max of 100, should be 10
    Changed the default value for Slider by setting the value to 10 in the constructor. I changed NumericStepper?\226?\128?\153s implementation to match Slider. The problem with NumericStepper?\226?\128?\153s previous implementation was that it wasn?\226?\128?\153t calling Range?\226?\128?\153s maximum setter. Thus there was some important logic in Range.commitProperties that wasn?\226?\128?\153t called.

  • Tolerance Limits with Date and quantity

    Hi Experts,
    We would like to set the GR Tolerance Limits with Date and qty.
    how to set the Tolerance Limits for Date and quantity..??
    if we created PO 100qty and date 01-05-009.
    if we receive the goods on 20-04-2009 and 50qty...
    For GR .. Migo should be give error message..
    where can i set this Tolerance Limit Configuration.... can u please explin me..
    Thanks in Advance,
    Anthyodaya .

    Go to SPRO - Material Managemetn - LIV - Invoice Block - Set Tolerence limit.
    USe company code and maintain a value for ST
    ST: Date variance (value x days)
    The system calculates for each item the product of amount * (scheduled delivery date - date invoice entered) and compares this product with the absolute upper limit defined. This allows relatively high schedule variances for invoice items for small amounts, but only small schedule variances for invoice items for large amounts.

  • How do I maintain data and selection in a SWF after AutoDetach() is called?

    To date, the behaviour of my Flex panel has been based on the old CS4 sample, which stroked boxes using a thickness value specified in a combobox. Now I need to change the behaviour, but I'm not sure how to go about it.
    At the moment the SWF file is loaded on an xxxxUIPanelSelectionObserver::AutoAttach() and unloaded on the AutoDetach(). I also have code in these functions that attaches to and from subjects in the model plug-in. xxxxUIPanelSelectionObserver is derived from ActiveSelectionObserver.
    When the user collapses/minimizes the UI panel (for example into the sidebar on the RHS), AutoDetach() gets called and consequently the SWF file is unloaded and detaches observers from subjects. Consequently any data I passed to the SWF and any selections made are lost. When the user expands the UI panel, AutoAttach is called, the SWF is reloaded and observers are reattached to subjects.
    This is no good for me. When I collapse the panel I need the SWF to remain loaded and for it to be updated when any changes occur to subjects in the model plug-in.
    One approach would be to do a one time only SWF load/observer attach in xxxxUIPanelSelectionObserver::AutoAttach() and remove code from AutoDetach. But this doesn't sound safe to me and likely to lead to a boss/resource leak somewhere down the line.
    Another would be to store all data and selection information in the C++ UI plug-in and pass that into the SWF when it gets reloaded. But this means duplication of information (especially the selection information).
    The other way would be to alter when AutoAttach() and AutoDetach() get called - ideally I don't want AutoDetach to occur until the application closes. But I have no idea how that could be done.
    Any ideas on how to resolve this would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    APMABC

    I've spotted two functions - AttachToSelectionSubject() and DetachFromSelectionSubject(). They take ISubject* as an argument.
    Given the desciptions, it sounds like it allows the developer to have more control over when AutoAttach and AutoDetach get called, but as there are no examples of them in use, I'm not sure how tio exploit them.

  • Help on export sybase iq tables with data and import in another database ?

    Help on export Sybase iq 16 tables with data and import into another database ?

    Hi Nilesh,
    If you have table/index create commands (DDLs), you can create them in Developper and import data using one of methods below
    Extract/ Load table
    Insert location method : require IQ servers to be entered in interfaces file
    Backup/Restore : copy entire database content
    If you have not the DDLs, you can generate them using IQ cockpit or SCC.

    Then we brought up the system. Before that , we do not have this transport issue.

    *At OS level, when we do scp command using root user, it is fine for any TR.
    In STMS, while adding TR in SEQ(QA system), we  are getting error like this.

    In JDeveloper Help, we cannot find a way to set a Date attribute's default value to today's (system) date. Any suggestions?

  • Using expdp to export a mix of tables with data and tables without data

    Hi,
    I would like to create a .dmp file using expdp, exporting a set of tables with data and another set without data. Is there a way to do this in a single .dmp file? For example, I want all the tables in a schema with data, but for the fact tables in that schema, I only want the fact table objects, not the data. I thought it might be easier to create two separate .dmp files, one for each scenario, but would be nice to have one .dmp file that satisfies my requirement. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    -Rodolfo

    You could do this with where clauses. Let's say you have 10 tables to export, 5 with data and 5 without data. I would do it like this
    tab1_w_data
    tab2_w_data
    tab3_w_data
    tab4_w_data
    tab5_w_data
    tab1_wo_data
    tab2_wo_data
    tab3_wo_data
    tab4_wo_data
    tab5_wo_data
    I would make one generic query
    query="where rownum = 0"
    and I would make 5 specific queries
    query=tab1_w_data:"where rownum > 0"
    query=tab2_w_data:"where rownum > 0"
    query=tab3_w_data:"where rownum > 0"
    query=tab4_w_data:"where rownum > 0"
    query=tab5_w_data:"where rownum > 0"
    The first query will be applied to all tables that don't have their own specific query and it will export no rows, the next 5 will apply to each of the corresponding table.

    hi,
    You can do one thing...
    Activate the SLED check...
    BY this when the date goes earlier or late from the expected date, then system show you the messages like:
    1. Earliest delivery date is DD.MM.YY..
    2. Expected delivery date was DD.MM.YY...
    In std sap system, the second message is already error message...so when get late delivery then it'll not be possible to maintain the GR...
    For the qty varinace, activate the quantity variance either via over/under delievery tolerances..or
    Via SPRO settings...
    SPRO >> MM >> LIV >> Invoice block >> check for qty tolerances and make the settings as per your requirement...
