Dynamic watermarking to document

Hi,
I want to water mark the document when i download. I configure IBR server(http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e14495/configibr.htm) i followed all the step as per the link. I am using RIDC to communicate with UCM. I used GET_File command to download the file. Now i want to add water mark text in downloaded file. Please let me know the step. I am new to UCM and i want to implement this feature in my project.
I want to know how PDF conversion is happening?

There is one piece of information, which was available in 10g, but now seems to be missing:
"Beginning with this version, PDF Watermark uses a web server filter plug-in, which detects static URL requests for .pdf files, and sets the isproxiedpath bit in the request header. This, in turn, causes CS to execute a GET_DYNAMIC_URL service, during which the content is tested against the watermarking rules and a watermark is conditionally applied. I will check it in a 11g system.

Life Designer- Dynamic Watermarks

Hi,
I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to creat a dynamic watermark using Adobe Pro X with Life Cycle install and LiveCycle Rights management. This will be used for when a user prints the document, it will show me his name, date, location on the form.

PDF dynamic watermarking doesn't apply for native files?

Hi Experts,
I enabled PDF watermarking component, configured the component so that watermarks will be applied dynamically to PDF documents checked in; this seems to be working only for the web renditions.
If I download the native PDF file, the watermark is not applied. Is this the expected behaviour of this component or am I missing any configuration step?

Just read the documentation that only the weblayout form will be watermarked, the original PDF file is unchanged in its vault location.

How can I add a picture to the Automator Action "Watermark PDF Documents.action"

Looks like a bug: under 10.7.2 i cannot add a picture to the Automator Action "Watermark PDF Documents.action".
Works perfectly under 10.6.8.

As a workaround, if you saved the Action in SL, option-click the action, navigate to the file "document.wflow", open in TextEdit, search for the key "fileNames" and replace your old image with the new

Automator: Watermark PDF Documents not supplied required data?

I want to create a letterhead background on a Numbers document so I can email a Numbers document on my letterhead. I haven't found an easy answer so far until I came across the Watermark PDF Document feature in Automator. That would work perfectly, problem is, I can't get it to work at all. No matter what I have added, subtracted or rearranged I get the same results....The action "Watermark PDF Document" was not supplied with the required data. I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can someone walk me through what it is suppose to look like? I want it as a printer workflow so I can just take the document I'm working on in Numbers, go to the print menu, as if I was going to "print" it in to Preview, and it will convert it to PDF then put the watermark on it. I have done lots of research to try and figure out what I am doing wrong...and I hope it's something really silly because I am getting so frustrated.

I couldn't find the QuickLook folder but I took a screen shot.
What I am asking for is someone to tell me what the workflow should look like.
I have tried
-Get Specified Finder Items
-Launch Application (Preveiw)
-Watermark PDF Documents
-Move Finder Items
-Rename Finder Items/Rename PDF Documents
-View Results
..and all combinations of those items. I tried Watermark PDF Documents by iteslef as a Print Plugin...it gets to Preview but there is no watermark.
No matter what I try the same result happens "The action 'Watermark PDF Documents' was not supplied with the required data."
I have tried JPEG and PNG images, several different files with different sizes, shapes and colors. I even tried the images you supplied above. It never works.
I'd love for someone to be able to make it work on their computer then tell me how they did it so I can duplicate it. If if still doesn't work for me then I'll know it's something to do with my computer.

Problem using Automator to create "Watermark PDF Documents"

After having updated our macs from Mavericks to Yosemite, the "Watermark PDF Documents" using Automator is no longer working.

Do you have flash player installed on your system for that browser? Did you tried accessing that pdf file from a different browser?

Automator Watermark PDF Document

WIth Lion I'm unable to add a .png file (or any image file) as a Watermark in the Automator action: PDF->Watermark PDF Document.
This Worked for me in Snow Leopard.
Can someone see if they get this to work?

Watermark PDF Documents Service error

Hello,
I created a workflow application to watermark PDF's, and now I'm trying to create a service that does the same thing. The workflow works as an application, but the service is getting an error that reads: "The action “Move Finder Items” encountered an error." The service is included below. Please advise how to fix this, thanks!
Watermark PDF Documents
Compress Images in PDF Documents (as jpeg)
Move Finder Items (to desktop, replacing existing files)
Rename PDF Documents (replace existing files)

Dynamically change the document when the user opens it through a PDF Portfolio

Hello
I'm generating a PDF Portfolio using LiveCycle PDF Generator. I need to dynamically change the document that is presented when the user opens a PDF portfolio.
Can anyone give ideas on how to accomplish this using the portfolio and navigator API?

That was it. What an operating system. It is very helpful to view files you are looking for. But if you have preview on you cannot save files.

Automator - Watermark PDF Documents

Since Lion, I'm unable to use the Auromator Action "Watermark PDF Documents"
I can select a .png file for the watermark, but it does not list in the action (see below)
Can someone confirm that they are also unable to get this action to work, as I would like to isolate this as a Lion issue and not a system issue on my end.

You can use the Watermark PDF documents action in Automator to add an image on every page of a PDF file. You can specify location, scale, rotation, and opacity.
Manually fixing the workflow for Mac OS X Lion
Set up the entire automator workflow as you would, but skip adding the watermark image (you can't). Save the workflow to a file. Right-click the workflow in Finder and select Show Package Contents and navigate into Contents. Opendocument.wflow in a text editor, e.g. TextMate.
The actual parameters and their values are stored in the ActionParameters dictionary. The relevant key isfilenames. By default, it looks like this:
<key>ActionParameters</key> <dict> <key>angle</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>fileNames</key> <array/> <key>onePDF</key> <false/>
Just edit the <array/> declaration and add all files as <string>s, like so:
<key>fileNames</key> <array> <string>/Users/danielbeck/Desktop/test.png</string> </array>
Save the file, and reopen the workflow in Automator. The image will be correctly listed, and you can fix its position and other properties, before you apply it.
Remember that the workflow does not replace the input file as many others do, the output is written to a temporary file. Use the Move Finder Items action afterwards.

Dynamic watermarking of ebook

I´m about to start selling e-books (pdf) from a webshop, and I want to have a dynamic watermark in the pdf, containing buyer´s name, date, ordernumber etc. Is "LiveCycle Rights Management ES" a part of Acrobat Pro or is it a separate piece of software? Can AAP automatically draw out the wanted information from my order confirmation and insert it in a pdf downloadable by the buyer?

Adobe Acrobat cannot be installed and operated on a webserver. LiveCycle ES3 is a separate product line for enterprise users. You can add a selection of modules to the ES3 server installation to manipulate and protect PDF files, but integrating exactly what you want would require some extension scripting so the orders database can talk to the generator utility. It's possible but not a job for a novice user, and LC ES3 is very expensive.
On a commercial level you're probably better off writing something yourself, using PHP etc. - there are several open-source libraries to manipulate PDF files including things like adding watermarks, and it would be simpler to code the connection to your ordering system that way. The major commercial advantage of LC is the digital rights management module, which is the only way to make a file secure against distribution - but unless your eBooks have extremely high value or contain classified information the costs of using DRM would outweigh the possible losses from illegal copying.

PDF Dynamic Watermark - Not working

We are using Oracle UCM 10gR3 (Stellent) with IIS 6. Ghost script 8.63 for conversion
We have configured Watermark Templates and set rule for displaying Watermark dynamically on the footer based on dDocAuthor.
Static watermark is appearing with out any problem but the dynamic one is not getting displayed.....
The watermark appears correctly on local development environment where we have Oracle UCM 10gR3 (Stellent) with Apache 2.2 server and open office 3.0 for conversion
Please let us know what needs to checked.

Hi,
It is downloadable and we can see the static watermark also. and the rule which we are applying is dDocAuthor=sysadmin.
We printed the Author in static watermark and it displayed Author as sysadmin only, from that we can assume the rule must be applied...
No error in logs :(

Add saved Watermark to Document

Hello!
I would like to use the SDK to write an application that adds watermarks to given PDF-Documents. The Acrobat-Version is 9.3. The watermarks are already saved in the Acrobat installation as "saved settings" (userprofile\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0\Preferences\Watermark\...xml). I've found the functions addWatermarkFromFile (which accepts PDF-Documents) and addWatermarkFromText, but I can't find an option to use a "saved watermark". Is this even possible?

Thanks for the reply. IMO it would make sense!
I've already thougth about that solution. The saved settings are stored in an XML-File, so I can easily parse that files and use the watermarkFromText-function to add the watermark. Probably the same procedure as Acrobat itself does it.

Adding Goods Receipt batches dynamically when editing document ?

Hi,
Is it possible to add batches dynamically from SDK to an open and currently editing Goods Receipt PO?
e.g, I would like to load batches from several xml-files and they must be validated and sometimes
by hand connected to correct item-row at editing time. I'm opening a series of different forms
to get the user to select valid xml-files and all that works fine. The problem comes first
when to insert the batches into the current open document.
Can I in some way load a SapbobuiCOM.Document from the open Form and
add batches using the xxx.lines.BatchNumbers object?
(it would be simple then)
