Dynamically add/change SAML attributes

Hi,
Is it possible to dynamically adding assertion attributes to SAML
depending on the authentication method?
From what I see in the LocalAuthenticationClass ( NACM API ), there is
a method called:
addPrincipalAttributes(java.lang.String strAttr, java.lang.String[]
values)
Sets attributes for a user that has been authenticated.
Does it mean that these attributes will be added to the SAML when NAM
responses to the AuthnRequest?
If so, will they be automatically added to the e-Directory?
Basically, my boss wants me to send, say attributes 1,2,3 when a user
authenticates with username/password contract. However, when a user
logins with digital certificate, then I need to send attributes
1,2,3,4,5. Can this be done?
Thanks in advance,
Annon

Although this post above does solve my problem; some tech. wiz. at work
suggests that it will not work in concurrent condition when multiple
users of the same ID login at the same time with different
authentication method.
Is there other solutions without modifying e-Directory?

  • How to change the  attribute of screen field to drop down list dynamically

    Hi All,
      Col X                   Col Y
      A                        input field
      B                       drop down list
    This is a tabular disply where the Screen field attribute for Col y  is NO DROP DOWN BOX.
    My requirement is to change the attribute of COl Y to DROP DOWN list depending on the value of
      COL X  dynamically.

    Dear Ajay,
    Actually this requirement is to enhance the standard screen for Tcode :EHSVU21.
    So depending on the 1st Column(Test no)  value ,i have to change the 3rd Column(Low.norm.result)
    property either to DROP Down or not.
    So in the PBO only the changes to be made and there is no field in SCREEN internal table for changing the attribute to DROP down. I checked SCREEN internal table where the field VALUE_HELP and REQUEST is useful but not  suitable for my case.
    Any solution available?

  • Dynamically Changing Location Attributes

    Hi All,
    Has anyone ever successfully set up a BefConsolidate event script with a dynamically changing location attribute. The FDM Admin manual says you can do this:
    RES.PblnValEntGroupOverride=True
    RES.PstrValEntGroup=”MyNewEntityGroup”
    It does not work for me when I sub in a new Validation Entity Group. Has anyone had luck with this? See my actual code below. The new validation group name is 281.
    Sub BefConsolidate(strLoc, strCat, strPer, strTCat, strTPer, strEntGroup)
    RES.PblnValEntGroupOverride=True
    RES.PstrValEntGroup="281"
    End Sub
    Thx,
    Mike

    Hello,
    Yes I am able to write to file before end if.  I also took out end if statement which to me would me FDM would fire the event for all locations without restriction.
    I have not tried the same code in other event script.  Would that work?  The RES statement specifically relates to a consolidation trigger.  I can try another event to see.
    Thanks.

  • CF9/10: Change file attributes

    Hello, everyone,
    Is there a way to change the attributes of a .txt file that already exists?
    For example:  I use CFFILE to write a .txt file that is blank, and supply the "readOnly" attribute.  Later, I want to dynamically add data to the file.  How do I set the .txt file to NOT readOnly so I can add data?  And, conversely, how do I set the attribute back to readOnly?
    V/r,
    ^_^

    An example on Windows, using 3 steps:
    <cfset path_to_directory="C:\Users\BKBK\Desktop">
    <!--- Create readOnly blank text file --->
    <cffile action="write" attributes="readonly" file="#path_to_directory#\testFile.txt" output="">
    <!--- Disable readOnly attribute --->
    <cffile action="rename" attributes="normal" source="#path_to_directory#\testFile.txt"  destination="#path_to_directory#\testFile.txt">
    <!--- Write some text to file, switching readOnly attribute back on --->
    <cffile action="write" attributes="readonly" file="#path_to_directory#\testFile.txt" output="Some text">
    Done!

  • How can I add a new attribute (characteristic) in intrastat

    Hi all,
    my friends from Autria have a problem with their intrastat message and that makes it my problem. Austrian statistic wants to know the amount of goods imported, not only the value. I tried to add an attribute using transaction VEB1, but there is no attribute in the list that gives me the amount. Does anyone know how to handle that?
    Christian

    Hi Napadol,
    To add a attribute in a char:
    1) Go to info object/char in change mode and add the additional attribute you want and select navigational attribute in attribute tab if you want. (Create these additional attribute first in info object catalouge)
    2) Activate the Object/Char
    3) open info cube in change mode and pick the characteristic from left panel to info cube dimension.
    4) Activate infocube.
    5) Go to multi provider add the char in one of the dimension and do identification for this char and activate.

  • Is it possible to add/change a ViewContainerUIElement during runtime?

    Hi all,
    i want to add/change the content of a ViewContainerUIElement (VCUI) during runtime, but it doesn't work as expected (or hoped;). What i got working so far for an <b>already exising</b> VCUI is:
    1. Find the IWDViewContainerInfo for the VCUI
    2. If no default view usage exists, create an embedded view usage and set is as default.
    3. Set the component usage to the IWDComponentUsageInfo requested.
    4. Set the view to the IWDViewUsageInfo of the interface view, which should be the content of the VCUI.
    This doesn't work, if it's done after the wdDoInit()s of the controller hierarchy has been processed. The component, which is represented by the usage, is deleted and recreated, but the visual representation doesn't get updated (e.g. no changes on the display) if it's done in an action handler for example. Why? If i change the component usage (cloned component usage) nothing happens too.
    Even more problems arise, if i try to add a new VCUI. The steps are pretty the same as before, what is done additionally (and prior the steps above) is:
    1. Creating a IWDViewContainerInfo from the IWDViewInfo of the "parent" view.
    2. Creating a IWDViewContainerAssignmentInfo from the view usage of the "parent" view
    3. Setting the created IWDViewContainerInfo as view container in the assignment.
    4. Create the VCUI, set the view container name to the name of the created IWDViewContainerInfo and add the VCUI to an arbitrary container in the parent view.
    But this doesn't work, i'm getting:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
         at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientimpl.html.uielib.standard.uradapter.ViewContainerUIElementAdapter.getContent(ViewContainerUIElementAdapter.java:98)
    What is wrong? What am i missing?
    Thanks in advance.
    Stefan

    Hi,
    I had the same problem with
    "java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientimpl.html.uielib.standard.uradapter.ViewContainerUIElementAdapter.getContent(ViewContainerUIElementAdapter.java:98)"
    when I included ViewUsages dynamically in an action handler (outside wdDoInit()).
    The code below fixed that problem.
    This code creates a new OutboundPlug for the embedding view with the embedded view as target and fires the plug.
    <i>// Create OutboundPlug
    IWDOutboundPlugInfo outboundPlug = embedderViewInfo.createOutboundPlug();
    //Create navigation link
    rootViewUsage.createNavigationTarget(outboundPlug.getName(), interfaceViewUsage, "Default");
    // fire navigation link
    wdThis.wdGetAPI().firePlug(outboundPlug, Collections.EMPTY_MAP);
    </i>
    I hope I could help you. Probably you don't need the information anymore, but perhaps anybody else has the same problem.
    Regards, Alex

  • SAML attribute mapper

    Hi,
    I am having an issue developing an attribute mapper for my SAML 1.1 scenario using Sun Access Manager 7.1 patch 1 (war deployment installer) as the IDP. It is deployed on Sun Java System Web Server 7.0U1 (B06/12/2007 21:15) for Solaris 10 x86.
    My class looks something like this:
    package matt.saml.sample;
    import java.util.ArrayList;
    import java.util.List;
    import java.util.Set;
    import com.iplanet.sso.*;
    import com.sun.identity.saml.assertion.*;
    import com.sun.identity.saml.common.SAMLException;
    import com.sun.identity.saml.plugins.PartnerSiteAttributeMapper;
    import com.sun.identity.idm.AMIdentity;
    import com.sun.identity.idm.IdRepoException;
    import com.sun.identity.idm.IdUtils;
    import org.w3c.dom.Document;
    public class TestSiteAttributeMapper implements PartnerSiteAttributeMapper {
        public List getAttributes(SSOToken token, String targetURL) throws SAMLException {
            //...code
            return list;
    }So, I put TestSiteAttributeMapper in the classpath and configured the Site Attribute Mapper. Now when I try SSO with SAML, attributes aren't passed through the assertion plus I get this in the amSAML debug log:
    SAML Service Manager: PartnerUrl List:siteattributemapper=matt.saml.sample.TestSiteAttributeMapper

    Also, I had to add amserver/WEB-INF/lib/am_services.jar(plus I added a couple other am_*.jar files) to the Web Server classpath, in the JVM settings to get rid of an error I was seeing in the web server logs:

    ava:101)I didn't really think that I should have had to add the jar to the classpath, considering it is in the WEB-INF/lib folder.
    In summary, my questions are:
    1. What am I doing wrong in implementing this attribute mapper that causes it to be invalid?
    2. Why did I have to add that jar to the classpath to remove that NoClassDefFoundError? Isn't it already in the classpath?
    Thanks in advance,
    Matt

    ok i fixed my issue. removing all additional jars from the class path, and putting my class under amserver/WEB-INF/classes got it working.
    I guess it's a classpath context issue

  • Add Change/Edit button in ALV

    Hello Experts,
                   How to insert the button in ALV grid toolbar. Now its showing Check,insert,append and delete button.How to add change or edit button in ALV ?
    I'm using ALV componenet  SALV_WD_TABLE.
    Thanks.

    Hi Stars,
    To achieve this, you have to two of ALV grid events. Use event TOOLBAR to add a button & event USER_COMMAND to implement a function.
    In the method handling the toolbar event, we define a new button by filling a structure and appending it to the table attribute mt_toolbar of the object to whose reference we can reach via the parameter e_object of the event.
    Example code snippet for your reference :-
    DATA: ls_toolbar TYPE stb_button.
    CLEAR ls_toolbar.
    MOVE 3 TO ls_toolbar-butn_type.
    APPEND ls_toolbar TO i_object->mt_toolbar.
    CLEAR ls_toolbar.
    MOVE 'PER' TO ls_toolbar-function. "#EC NOTEXT
    MOVE icon_display_text TO ls_toolbar-icon.

    MOVE 'Passenger Info'(201) TO ls_toolbar-text.

    APPEND ls_toolbar TO i_object->mt_toolbar.

  • How to change general attribute of text element

    hi
    who now how to change general attribute of text element on screen dinamically? I wish to change text value dinamically for example.

    Hi Denis,
    I am not too sure on what you want.
    If you require that the text value be different based on some conditions you can declare as many text elements as conditions and call the relevant text element.
    But I dont think that you can assign dynamic texts to a single text element.

  • Dynamically add Children Link Element

    Hi,
    I'm trying to dynamically add a children element, a link, but the action binding refuses to work ...
    I've created a custom jsf component, that does nothing at all.
    For example, one would use it like:
    <my:nothing></my:nothing>So my UI class would have the following methods:
    public void encodeBegin(FacesContext context) throws IOException {
    public void encodeEnd(FacesContext context) throws IOException {
    }The tld file is created, the tag class is working. All the component is working properly.
    Now I want to add a link as a child component, but I wat to do it programatically, so I changed the encodeBegin method of my custom ui class:
    import javax.faces.el.ValueBinding;
    import com.sun.faces.util.Util;
    import javax.faces.el.MethodBinding;
    import javax.faces.component.UICommand;
    import javax.faces.component.html.HtmlCommandLink;
    import com.sun.faces.taglib.html_basic.CommandLinkTag;
    public void encodeBegin(FacesContext context) throws IOException {
              String myLinkId = "idMyLink";
              String myLinkValue = "myLink:Value";
              String myLinkStyle = "color:green;";
              String myLinkAction = "backup";
              HtmlCommandLink myLink = new HtmlCommandLink();
              myLink.setParent(this);
              myLink.setId( myLinkId );
              if (CommandLinkTag.isValueReference( myLinkValue )) {
                   ValueBinding vb = Util.getValueBinding( myLinkValue );
                   myLink.setValueBinding("value", vb);
              } else {
                   myLink.setValue( myLinkValue );
              if (CommandLinkTag.isValueReference( myLinkStyle )) {
                   ValueBinding vb = Util.getValueBinding( myLinkStyle );
                   myLink.setValueBinding("style", vb);
              } else {
                   myLink.setStyle( myLinkStyle );
              if(myLinkAction!=null) {
                   if (CommandLinkTag.isValueReference( myLinkAction )) {
                        System.err.println("Id="+myLinkId+":TRUE:getAccao:isValueReference:"+myLinkAction);
                        MethodBinding vb = getFacesContext().getApplication().createMethodBinding(myLinkAction, null);
                        myLink.setAction(vb);
                   } else {
                        System.err.println("Id="+myLinkId+":FALSE:getAccao:isValueReference:"+myLinkAction);
                        final String outcome = cNfo.getAccao();
                        MethodBinding vb = Util.createConstantMethodBinding( myLinkAction );
                        myLink.setAction(vb);
              myLink.encodeBegin(getFacesContext());
              myLink.encodeEnd(getFacesContext());
    }This seems to work, but not quite ... the link appears as expected, the value references for value and style are correctly passed, but the action doesn't work at all.
    For example if I change to:
    String myLinkValue = "#{mybean.linkText}";And I have the following method created on my managed bean:
         public String getLinkText() {
              return "This is myLink Text!";
         }Is successfully calls and retrieves the value from the method. Same happens to the style property.
    Now for the action, if I change to:
    String myLinkAction = "#{mybean.doMyLinkAction}";And I have the following method created on my managed bean:
         public String doMyLinkAction() {
              return "backup";
         }The result is nothing ... I mean the method is not called at all. The "backup" is properly defined on my "faces-config.xml":
       <navigation-rule>
          <from-view-id>/testPage.jsp</from-view-id>
          <navigation-case>
             <from-outcome>yes</from-outcome>
             <to-view-id>/yes.jsp</to-view-id>
          </navigation-case>
          <navigation-case>
             <from-outcome>no</from-outcome>
             <to-view-id>/no.jsp</to-view-id>
          </navigation-case>
          <navigation-case>
             <from-outcome>backup</from-outcome>
             <to-view-id>/backup.jsp</to-view-id>
          </navigation-case>
       </navigation-rule>If I create the link manually on the web page:
    <h:commandLink id="myLinkManual" value="Manually Created Link" style="" action="#{mybean.doMyLinkAction}"/>It does work (the backup.jsp page is shown), so the methods are properly configured, only the action binding does not work.
    Wether I use a string "backup" or a reference "#{mybean.doMyLinkAction}" I cannot make it work.
    On the console I get the following results, for each value I test (string "backup" or reference "#{mybean.doMyLinkAction}"):
    Id=idMyLink:TRUE:getAccao:isValueReference:backup
    Id=idMyLink:FALSE:getAccao:isValueReference:#{mybean.doMyLinkAction}So the "if (CommandLinkTag.isValueReference( myLinkAction )) {" is working properly ... that just leaves me with the action method binding instructions ...
    Why don't they work?
    Any Help Appreciated ... Thanks in Advance!

    c'mon guys ... can anyone test this and help me out?
    Pleeeeeease ... I'm really needing this working out.
    Thanks

  • Change the attribute "src" to "href" before importing an XML

    I need to change the attribute "src" to "href" (<img scr="....">) before importing an XML document. I think you could do with XSLT, so you can add a script to import XML documents. But I do not know much about XSLT ...

    Piece of cake. Here is an identity transform, except that it filters out "src" attributes:

  • SAML - USer Principal mapped on a SAML attribute - How to do ???

    Dear security experts,
    I have configured on my weblogic platform a Sender vouches SAML profile.
    I am trying to map the UserPrincipal (the one I get from the webServiceContext in my web service) to a SAML attribute (different from the SAML subject).
    I have written a class that implement the interfaces SAMLIdentityAssertionNameMapper and SAMLIdentityAssertionAttributeMapper .
    Here is an overview of the simplified implementation :
    public String mapNameInfo(SAMLNameMapperInfo info, ContextHandler handler) {
    return "user2";
    public void mapAttributeInfo(Collection<SAMLAttributeStatementInfo> attribStmts, ContextHandler contextHandler) {
    Set<Principal> principals = new HashSet<Principal>();
    principals.add(PrincipalFactory.getInstance().createWLSUser("user1"););
    ((SecurityTokenContextHandler)contextHandler).addContextElement(ContextElementDictionary.SAML_ATTRIBUTE_PRINCIPALS, principals);
    After weblogic has loaded my SAML assertion, I can see in the log that my uibject has two User Principal : user1, user2. When I call getUserPrincipal in my webservice, I always get "user1". I need to get "user2".
    Why mapNameInfo() always has the priority ? Is it the good way to implement this mechanism ?
    Thanks for your help.

    Gyan:
    How is that possible? If you import the VOImpl inside EOImpl, the import statement is ok. But how would you use that? There is no findViewObject method? The OADBTransaction class that I can use has only findObject method that one can use and I tried that but wasn't successful. Shouldn't you have to import OAApplicationModule and a host of other classes? Is that even possible?
    I thought about the entity expert approach but I don't have a need to execute any query. I just need to refer to the view attribute from within the EOImpl. That's what I am looking for. If there is a way to refer to a view attribute from within the EOImpl without having to populate that attribute in a session/transaction variable that would be a better solution for me because there may be more attributes that I need from different VOs later on and everytime I need some VO attribute I don't have to create and populate a session/transaction variable.
    Please let me know if it can be done. Can you please elaborate more on your proposal? I really appreciate your time and help. Thanks!

  • Changing an Attribute Dimension Hierarchy

    I've had problems changing custom attribute hierarchies and I'm wondering if others have had similar problems and have a way to get around this.
    I have an attribute (Program) of my entity field that currently looks like:
    Program
    Finance
    P10001
    P10002
    P10003
    Managment
    Etc.
    I'm trying to modify the hierarchy to look like this:
    ProgramFinance
    AccountingP10001
    FPA
    P10002
    P10003
    When doing this through the front end (hyperion classic admin), I don't see a way to cut/paste.  Instead, I have to delete and then recreate the value under the new parent.  The problem with that is that it drops the attribute value from all the entities that previously had it.  I then have to search for those entities and add it back.  Isn't there a way to just move or cut/paste the attribute to a new parent?  I even tried ODI but couldn't get it to work (it gave me a successfully loaded message but didn't move the children values).
    Thanks-
    Cameron

    I do have the interface in place already and reran it with the the new parents... Something like this:
    Parent|Program|AliasDefault|Operation
    ACCOUNTING|P_20001||Update
    FPA|P10002||Update
    FPA|P10003||Update
    I get all success messages: "Number of rows successfully processed: 3"  But when I go into the attribute dim in Hyperion Administration, the children have not moved.
    When you say "Rebuild" is there a special Operation or something else that I can toggle to get it to accept the changes?
    Thanks-
    Cameron

  • Is deriving or check Change Request attributes in DERIVE_ENTITY or CHECK_ENTITY

    Hi,
    I'd have a requirement to derive or check  the Change Request attributes like Change Request Reason and Change Request Priority , e.g if CR Priority is empty, set to a specific value or Check if Change Request Reason is set.
    I know via an OSS message that we are not able to derive or check CR attributes using BRF+ but can we derive or check using the BADI?

    The BRF+ and BAdI solutions are directed more towards the master data entities. If you "only" want to default or check the CR header, then one idea is to enhance the CR Header handler class. Please see this document that describes how to enhance the CR Header. You don't need to add a field, but you can learn the technique of adding checks, etc. to the GenIL model handler class.
