Dynamically Calling Background Image instead of standard setting

Hi all,
There is a requirement that, based on some condition I have to display shaded background image, say 'zimage1' .so as a result it should print in all pages. If condition fails, we have to display other image, say 'zimage2' in background. If both fails, no need to display background image.
If any body knew the solution please assist me in this regards.

Do any one knew how to set Dynamic Background (Watermark) Image instead of going for the standard setting in Page. (by selecting BACKGROUND PictureTab).
I want to pass a variable kind of information to the following fields during runtime.
ie.,
Path: Page->Background Picture.
Name: <Variable image name>
Object: GRAPHICS
ID: BMAP
and other properties like Ouput Mode, Position..etc.
That image should come at backgroudn for all the pages.

Background image instead of color for each sliding panel

I'm working with sliding panels and trying to add some style to the page. I have figured out how to put a different background color on each slide and even how to put a background image on the whole thing, but I cannot figure out how to use multiple images (one for each pannel). When I put the images in place of the colors it works fine in the Dreamweaver screen but totally disapears in a web browser. Regarding getting the tabs to sit on top of the content panel, speaking generally here, make the containing div for both the tabs and the content panel to have a margin: 0 auto; setting.This is for horizontal alignment.
The blue rectangle can be belayed by setting border: none; on the specific rule that applies to the "a" links within that container. It is an indication that there is a link there.
Please rename the images that have word-spaces in their file names. Some browsers react badly to word-spaces.

Which sets off your "slidingpanelandtab" class div with an empty paragraph space and then sets off the next section not only with paragraph spacing but also with a <blockquote></blockquote>, which will by all rights indent that element.
I suggest that you get rid of the spurious paragraph tags and the blockquote; that should tighten up your spacing.

The documentation says of SHOW_ALL : "Borders can appear on two sides of the application."
I can change the color of these borders with backgroundColor in Application tag, but.... How can I put an image (or swf) instead of these Borders?

Hi There,
In my knowledge, there are two ways to do that.
1) Create a skin for your application(I guess this option is only for advanced users) and choose the background colour there
2) A trick which I found is take a border container and use a background image for this border container.
e.g.:-

Behavior for calling static image instead of swf?

On our webpage we currently have a flash image running. We
also use a Dreamweaver behavior that takes a user without the Flash
Player installed to a separate page that has a static jpg image
instead of the Flash image.

You can add an image tag inside the object tag. Just make
sure the image tag is the last line before the closing tag of the
object here is an example

Dynamically adjust background image?

Alright, here's one i think is a challenge:
I have a background image loaded in a div via css. I use this
div and background across multiple pages. Some pages have more info
than others. Is there a way to dynamically scale the div AND the
background? I know I can do the div, but it cuts the background. I
want to be able to adjust both the background image and the div
according to how many lines are in the page.

How to dynamically call image in PDF for Acrobat ver 8.1 onwards?

I am using Web Dynpro Java. My requirement is to call the images dynamically on a PDF form. There are no of company code. I have to call different logos for different company codes/

From Acrobat 8.*, we have to use some different method for dynamically calling the images. Earlier we were using the concept mentioned below to dynamically call images.
However this method is not applicable for Acrobat Reader 8.* onwards due to security reasons.
Click on the Layout tab and choose None for the Caption position.

How to set tray's background image in the custom page layout?

Hi all,
I've developed custom page layout with custom iView tray implementation. I've applied my layout into my page and added some iViews. Those iViews are URL isolated so they are rendered as an iframe. My problem is that an iframe background containing iView content overcast my background image which I have set in my iView tray implementation. Is it possible to set transparent background for an iframe in this scenario?

That's right, I've already used layout tag library do develop custom tray design but my problem concerns iView's isolation method . URL isolation renders iView's content in an iframe which has its own background. I've read some articles about getting transparent iframes but I'm not sure how could I achive this in SAP EP? Is it possible?

Current website needs overall change in background image which is already set in template. Is there anyone who knows how to change background image in existing templates?

Make a friend with firebug & you could find yourself from where it is getting applied.
For the website you have given the background image it is using is [1] and it is getting set in css of body tag [2]. So Find the css at [3] and modify it OR replace [1] with other image with same file name.

BUG: background image under Linux

Hi,
This is actually two bugs...
1) When you select a background image under Linux (I'm using CentOS, 100% comatable with Red Hed), and set it to Stretch, the image gets mangled. Probably a byte allaignment problem.
2) When you change the background image with the Position set to Center from the program, LabVIEW often simply disapears. This doesn't happen when the Position is set to Tile, I haven't tried Stretch, because of point 1). It doesn't always happen, it seems to be related to the window origin. The error log says something like "DWarn ... picture Width and Height not matching". I'll try to attach the report, but it's on another system.
I only tested with 3 similar pictures (png's). It might not happen with all pictures, although the used pictures are not special in any way.

Dreamweaver CS4 Live View - background-image does not display

I'm teaching a basic Dreamweaver CS4 class, and one of my students happened upon a unique problem.
Although the students were not required to use LiveView for their assignment, the student noticed that when he clicked the LiveView button to look at his assignment, that the background-image property that he set on the #header DIV does not display.
I tried duplicating his problem by building a similar site to his, using the exact same Dreamweaver Starter Page he used, but I'm not able to reproduce it the problem. If I define a new site using the files the student sent me, the problem comes back.
I'm completely stumped. What could possibly be causing the background-image CSS property to stop rendering in Live View?

Check your students css code for invalid or missing mark-up, or linking to the background image. Another possible problem, (occurs on some sites but not all) is to check if the url is enclosed in quotes as these are occasionally required but not always, also check for spaces in file names
e.g. - background-image: url(../images/yourimage.jpg); should work but occasional requires quotes as in - background-image: url("../images/yourimage.jpg");

Export to web page, background image option gone?

Apologies if this has been addressed (couldn't get the right boolean search terms to work properly) as it is a simple question.
Upgraded to iphoto '08 and now one of my favorite features in the 'export a web page' area doesn't appear to exist anymore - the option to use a background image instead of a color.
Has this 'feature' been removed? It's easy to stick the line into the html code, but what I value is the fact that it (used to) modify each photo's html page, sticking that line in, which wouldn't be feasible for me to do manually.

Many thanks for pointing that out. In Composer I have been able to remove the path to my hard drive stored image. What shows now on page source is: <body style="background-image: url(cloudback800x600.jpg);"> but the image
is still not visible. Your further advice will be appreciated.

Background Image Problem

Hi all!
I have a site that I'm attempting to get editable for a
client in Contribute CS3. I retrofitted the site with Dreamweaver
templates, but for some reason all of the background-images that I
have set on my container div's disappear when I switch to edit
mode. The background of the site is quite dark, which means that
the client can't hardly see the text they're trying to edit when
the background disappears. The links are the same color as the
background as well, which means they become completely invisible.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

All of my background images are in CSS already, and I tried
setting a corresponding background color to use as well in case
Contribute was refusing to tile the bg image for some reason. That
didn't work... The other posted solution on the board was to make
sure that you are using paths relative to the stylesheet for your
background images, which didn't work either.
However, I did get it to work... I had a large masthead image
that was just inline and not in a div. This was working because the
image was the width of the container anyway, so it behaved like a
block level element even though it really wasn't. So, I wrapped it
in a div and everything works now... Obviously I should have done
that from the beginning, but I didn't notice it because no browsers
were choking on it. The background image now tiles properly, so
they can now edit the text. There's still an issue with the bottom
"cap" background graphic floating up too high, but that won't
prevent them from editing.

In linux, saving a background image (set as Desktop)feature doesnt download my image to wallpaper folder..or even to standard "Save download" feature. Can I tell firefox where (what folder) to save my "Set as Desktop" picture?

When I find a suitable picture to use as wallpaper" I often right click and use the menu item "Set as Desktop Background". The file ""example.jpg" is saved in directory\folder "/home/user" rather than for example "/home/user/my wallpaper" or in the directory
"/home/user/Downloads". The latter as being set under the "Downloads" section on the "General" tab in the "Preferences" dialog box.
Is there a configuration file where I can change the default location to save my "Set as Desktop Background" images. Or better still can the menu be customized to launch the application that allows me to set my desktop wallpapers?
I am using the "PCLinuxOS" Linux OS but I have encountered this issue in many if not all the Linux distributions I have sampled.

Don't use "Set as Desktop". Use ''' "Save Image As..." ''' instead, and file it with your other "wallpaper" images so the operating system has access to those images.
IIRC, Firefox saves a "desktop image" to the Profile folder, and it will only save one image, at that. Change the image and the previous one is gone.
