ECLIPSE & NETBEANS Same error about android.R class - new project
%JAVA_ANT%/bin %JAVA_HOME%/bin
ANDROID DEV - ALL NEW PROJ STARTUP CODE - GIVE ERROR
prior run ok and could create hellow word Android projects (no add anything) but now cannot run. ECLIPSE & NETBEANS Same error about android.R class,... As remember I installed ant in C:/Ant from Apache zip file for Phonegap. Ant exist and to JDK? BOTH far above must set in WINDOWS 7 64bit System - environmental vars??? I think something deleted i guess ant in environmental vars...
In eclipse juno where are Android sdk tools and AVM ??%JAVA_HOME% how understand what this holds?

You may want to swap out OpenJDK for the official version as compatibility isn't always guaranteed - any sort of development would require the "proper" java stack in my opinion.
Apologies - tomcat does need to be installed separately. It is quite a while since I have had to reinstall netbeans / reconfigure it
Have you configured tomcat and have it running without error in the background?

Are you just giving it the name 'test'
You shouldn't have to do any more than that... or are you trying to do templates of some kind etc?

If you can help, please do. I have been having this problem for a whole day now and its really becoming a pain in the head.
Whenever I create a new project (Im working in C and Objective-C) even if don't write any code and just try and run the starter ("hello world") code it returns this error....

Command /Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.2 failed with exit code 1
So far what I have done is;
Completely uninstalled Xcode and its Library's using the command line in Terminal
Installed the new version of Xcode (3.2.3)
Result: Error message is still there...
I have absolutely no clue what to do.

Office 365 error 259-4 when installing newer Project on top of older ProPlus

I am encountering a problem in the following circumstances:
- I install Office 365 ProPlus using version 15.0.4649.1003
- Then I try to install Project from Office 365, but using the newer version 15.0.4659.1001
The setup fails with error 259-4

When following the activity using Procmon I don't see any error for the HKLM key said in the log.
Usually when installing again Project, it works and corrects all ProPlus..
But this is very annoying as I would like to deploy ProPlus and Project independently using a deployment tool like SCCM.
In this case, I was testing a machine where ProPlus was installed in an older version, never updated for any reason, and then my tool trying to install Project but in the newer version....

After installing Project again, what's the version number of your Office 365 ProPlus? Also, try to repair existing Office 365 ProPlus and then install Project again, see if issue persists.
What if you update your Office 365 ProPlus to the same version as your Project build first, then deploy Project upon it?
Trying to figure out if the issue was caused due to the version mismatch.

RickI had the same issue then I found out all you have to do is to set the default view to List before opening any previous or new project and it worked, credit goes to this user below who found the solution.

I was able to resolve by workaround:
1. Closed all open applications
2. relaunch Finder
3. run sudo find / -name ".DS_Store" -exec rm {} \;
4. this removes all .DS_Store old files on the computer
5. launch finder and set default view to "LIST VIEW" as shown here:http://macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/ss/Setting-Finder-Views-For-Folders-And-Su b-Folders_2.htm
5. rerun the offending application and file chooser works -

What it is not seeming to like is the spaces between the words 'Base' Table' and 'Maintenance' in my project destination path. If I take these spaces out, I can create the project without a problem
The frustrating thing is, in the past, I have created projects in this same directory as well as other directories with spaces, but now I can't seem to anymore! I can't change the directory names very easily, our project structure is already set up, everyone else on the project is working with it and not seeming to have a problem. Is there an option somewhere that says 'don't get freaked out by the spaces, just create anyway'? Or is it something else that is wrong? Showing GL, PA Period error when create new Project

I am facing an Issue while creating a Project through Template, though I have opened PA Periods and GL Periods of current, but still showing following error
"Cannot copy a budget to a period which is out of the range of system defined periods (e.g. PA period or GL period)"

I assume your template budget has periods within the range dates of the template project, between the start date and the completion date of the project.
When you copy the template to create a new project, enter the start date of the new project as the start date of the template. If your project start date is different from the template start date, the system will try to more the end date, and may also try to move the budget periods, so those will keep the same lenght, but starting from the new project start date. In those case you might be creating budgets in other periods then the original template budget.

I'm trying to sync a Sharepoint calendar with Outlook on my mac. When I click on "Connect to Client", I get this error:
Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (stssync) isn't associated with any program.
I used the about:config instructions to create a new string:
* Type about:config into the address bar and press Enter.
* Right-click -> New -> Boolean -> Name: network.protocol-handler.external.foo -> Value -> true (Replacing foo with the protocol you're specifying)
* Right-click -> New -> String -> Name: network.protocol-handler.app.foo -> Value -> /path/to/app (Replacing foo with the protocol you're specifying and /path/to/app with the path to the application you want to run.
* Ensure network.protocol-handler.expose-all is set to true.

Spry good in DW but same error all browsers
When I set up this index.html page following a tutorial, it worked great in DW. I have 4 pages, all menus performed perfectly in live view, also in browser icon view. I also put all pages through the browser compatibility check, and no errors came back. But when I opened the site www.38bucks.com in any of the browsers, the same error happened.
The menu names stacked vertically in a small print to the right, and 4 small dots appeared on the far left. The menu actually functioned fine, opening each page as required. The only change I made to css was width of names to 5em and the bg color to black and to have it float right in the div.below is code, thanks for any help.

The code I am using is working fine in a class file but wont work in my jsp.

If compile the the JSP in Netbeans it works fine, however when Tomcat attempts to compile it into a servlet at runtime, I get the same error as described.
This is the line in JSP that fails:

<code>Some more text <%= "Bizarre".substring(3) %> </code>Its almost as if Tomcat is compiling under JDK 1.4.2 or something but I don't have any other JDK or JRE installed; only 1.5.
I suspect it may be a Tomcat setting that's causing a 1.4 code compliance.
In Netbeans, if I go to the project properties -> Sources, at the bottom is the "Source Level" drop down list. If I change this to 1.4 and clean and build the whole project I get the same error when the jsp (or any class with this construct) is compiled by NetBeans.
Note: I am using the Netbeans 5.0 and Tomcat and 5.5.9 co-bundle which I downloded from the Sun website.

DBAdapter Import Errors of OSB 10.3.1 projects in OSB 11.1.1.5 Eclipse
Hi,
I am in th eprocess of upgrading OSB 10.3.1 to 11.1.1.5. I am also using DBAdapter in the OSb Services. To upgrade the projects went to sbconsole of 10.3.1 and selected
Export Resources and also selected Include Dependencies. Once the jar was export I imported it OEPE that was installed with OSB 11.1.1.5 version.
I am getting the below errors it's complaining for the DBAdapter jca files. The same works in 10.3.1 OSB Workshop. I only see the below errors in workshop 10.3.1 but when opening in
11.1.1.5 version of OSB eclipse shows the below erors.
Opening the corrosponding business service also displays the same error

ThanksThe process for DBAdapter configuration in JDeveloper has changed from 10.3.1 to 11g. You will need to recreate the DBAdapter related resources and then use it.
