Edit Composed key in AspNetUserRoles Table

I use MCV5 with ASP Identity and made some modification in table AspNetUserRole:
public class AspNetUserRole : IdentityUserRole
[key]
public string Id { get; set; }
because I need to add Id key column and integrate it to composite key (UserId and RoleId) to become like that (UserId,RoleId and Id)
Code for onModelCreating:
protected override void OnModelCreating(System.Data.Entity.DbModelBuilder modelBuilder)
modelBuilder.Entity<AspNetUserRole>().HasKey(r => new { r.Id , r.RoleId, r.UserId});
base.OnModelCreating(modelBuilder);
but I have Id as a normal string column in database without any primary key constrains

  • How to create composit key ??

    Hello Friends!
    i need your help. I have to create composit key.
    I have 2 tables. Table 1 contains 9 colums and table 2 contains 3 colums. I am writing down just related colums of table1
    Table1: SID (pk) , Bytes_convert_test , Operator , Value , offset_test , Bytes_convert_jump , offset_jump
    Table2: SID (fk) , value , type , ID (pk)
    in table2 type represents the 2 colums in table 1 (Bytes_convert_test and Bytes_convert_jump). Type colum could be anyone of them may be for one record it is Bytes_convert_test or for another record bytes_convert_jump. values
    Value colum in table2 having different values or may be same values for both records. but my task is that i have to store record like if the type in table2 is bytes_to_convert then the values colum stores values for bytes to convert record. In short i have to separate values according to type. I am not sure that i need SID as fk in table2.
    Remember value colum in table1 containing different entries.
    Waiting for quick reply.

    Hello Zeeshan,
    You are saying you want to use Type and Value fields in Table2 as foreign keys to Table1 and based on logical operations,Type maps to Bytes_convert_test and/or Bytes_convert_jump in Table1. This means that there is no way to do a straight join between Table1 and Table2 that I can see. Unless you have some simple logic you can add to a query to get the joins to work consistently, I would strongly recommend you use a simple foreign key in Table2.
    Using a simple foreign key that goes to Table1's primary key not only makes the table joins easier, it also will reduce database hits - since now the primary key can be used when traversing relationships to search the cache instead of having to always go to the database.

  • How to create a foreign key for the table from two different tables?

    Hi All,
    I have a three table like below. In the below table SAMPLE_CONS_CHECK and SAMPLE_CONS2_CHECK will be having the primary key for NAME column. The same SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK table also having the primary key for NAME column and forieign key for SAMPLE_CONS_CHECK and SAMPLE_CONS2_CHECK tables. See the below code 2
    code 1:
    CREATE TABLE SAMPLE_CONS_CHECK
            (NAME VARCHAR2(10),
            SERIES  VARCHAR2(5)
    CREATE TABLE SAMPLE_CONS2_CHECK
            (NAME  VARCHAR2(5),
             MODEL  NUMBER
    CREATE TABLE SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK
            (NAME  VARCHAR2(5),
             MODEL_NO  NUMBER
            )code 2
    alter table SAMPLE_CONS_CHECK
    add constraint SAMPLE_CONS_CHECK_pk primary key (NAME)
    alter table SAMPLE_CONS2_CHECK
    add constraint SAMPLE_CONS2_CHECK_pk primary key (NAME)
    alter table SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK
    add constraint SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK_pk primary key (NAME)
    ALTER TABLE SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK ADD
    CONSTRAINT SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK_FK1 FOREIGN KEY
         NAME
    ) REFERENCES SAMPLE_CONS_CHECK
        NAME
    ) ON DELETE CASCADE;
    ALTER TABLE SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK ADD
    CONSTRAINT SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK_FK2 FOREIGN KEY
         NAME
    ) REFERENCES SAMPLE_CONS2_CHECK
        NAME
    ) ON DELETE CASCADE;From the above schenario i am able to insert the data to SAMPLE_CONS3_CHECK table. But the parent data is already available in the parent table. The problem is here two different constarints from two different tables. While inserting, it is checking from both the tables whether the parent is exist or not.
    How can i solve this problem? Can anyone halp me about this?
    Thanks

    Actually the design is completely incorrect.
    What you say is
    I have
    'foo', 'foo series'
    'foo','foo model'
    'foo',666
    By virtue of table3 referring to both table1 and table2.
    This means you actually need to have 1 (one) table:
    'foo','foo series','foo model', 666
    And the 'problem' disappears.

  • How to get edited row values from ADF table?

    JDev 11.
    I have a table which is populated with data from Bean.
    I need to save changes after user make changes in any table cell. InputText is defined for table column component.
    I have defined ValueChangeListener for inputText field and AutoSubmit=true. So when user change value in inputText field, method is called:
    public void SaveMaterial(ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) {
    getSelectedRow();
    SaveMaterial(material);
    This method should call getSelectedRow which take values from selected table row and save them into object:
    private Row getSelectedRow(){
    RichTable table = this.getMaterialTable();
    Iterator selection = table.getSelectedRowKeys().iterator();
    while (selection.hasNext())
    Object key = selection.next();
    table.setRowKey(key);
    Object o = table.getRowData();
    material = (MATERIAL) o;
    System.out.println("Selected Material Desc = "+material.getEnumb());
    return null;
    Problem is that getSelectedRow method doesnt get new (edited) values, old values are still used.
    I have tried to use ActiveButton with same method and it works fine in that case. New values are selected from active row and inserted into object.
    JSF:
    <af:table var="row" rowSelection="single" columnSelection="single"
    value="#{ManageWO.material}" binding="#{ManageWO.materialTable}">
    <af:column sortable="false" headerText="E-number">
    <af:inputText value="#{row.enumb}" valueChangeListener="#{ManageWO.SaveMaterial}" autoSubmit="true"/>
    </af:column>
    <af:column sortable="false" headerText="Description">
    <af:inputText value="#{row.desc}" valueChangeListener="#{ManageWO.SaveMaterial}" autoSubmit="true"/>
    </af:column>
    </af:table>
    <af:activeCommandToolbarButton text="Save" action="#{ManageWO.EditData}"/>
    What is a correct place from where save method should be called to get new (edited) values from ADF table?
    Thanks.

    Did you look into the valueChangeEvent?
    It has oldValue and newValue attributes.
    public void SaveMaterial(ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) {
    Object oldVal = valueChangeEvent.getOldValue();
    Object newVal = valueChangeEvent.getNewValue();
    // check if you see what you are looking for.....
    getSelectedRow();
    SaveMaterial(material);
    }Timo

  • Is it possible to create many primary key for a table?

    hello sir/mam.
    i am selva, i am new to abap,
    is it possible to create many primary key for a table?
    please guide me.

    Hi Selva,
    Many Primary Keys = Composite Key.
    i.e some set of columns will enable you to identify a unique row from a set of rows in the table.
    This can be achieved by checking the primary key check box in se11.
    Hope it helps.

    Here is an example right out of the Oracle documentation and the syntax for adding PK since you mention adding a composite PK.
    Example creating composite index
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14251/adfns_indexing.htm#sthref594
    Syntax for adding a PK (composite or not)
    alter table oooooooo.tttttttt
    add constraint tttttttt_PK
    primary key (sample_column2,
    sample_column1)
    using index
    tablespace IDXSPC
    pctfree 05
    initrans 04
    maxtrans 08
    storage (initial 16k
    next 16k
    maxextents 32
    pctincrease 0);
    -- dictionary management with restricted storage, change as desired.

  • What is the best practice for creating primary key on fact table?

    what is the best practice for primary key on fact table?
    1. Using composite key
    2. Create a surrogate key
    3. No primary key
    In document, i can only find "From a modeling standpoint, the primary key of the fact table is usually a composite key that is made up of all of its foreign keys."
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e16579/logical.htm#i1006423
    I also found a relevant thread states that primary key on fact table is necessary.
    Primary Key on Fact Table.
    But, if no business requires the uniqueness of the records and there is no materilized view, do we still need primary key? is there any other bad affect if there is no primary key on fact table? and any benifits from not creating primary key?

    Well, natural combination of dimensions connected to the fact would be a natural primary key and it would be composite.
    Having an artificial PK might simplify things a bit.
    Having no PK leads to a major mess. Fact should represent a business transaction, or some general event. If you're loading data you want to be able to identify the records that are processed. Also without PK if you forget to make an unique key the access to this fact table will be slow. Plus, having no PK will mean that if you want to used different tools, like Data Modeller in Jbuilder or OWB insert / update functionality it won't function, since there's no PK. Defining a PK for every table is a good practice. Not defining PK is asking for a load of problems, from performance to functionality and data quality.

    I'm assuming you recreated the table a couple of times with different numbers of hash partitions. (Tip: always use a power of two for the number of hash partitions - it keeps them all around the same size if you are using the feature on an appropriate data set.)
    There isn't really enough difference in time within the database to make any sensible comment about the difference in times. I note that you have also edited out the fetch count for the 1.1 million rows fetched, and have not captured (or perhaps just not printed) the wait times, so we don't know where you spent the time inside and outside the database.
    For all we can tell, the difference you are worried about might simply be network time on the fetch calls, and have nothing to do with the extract you've published.

  • Using FOreign key constraints on tables in database.

    I am student and novice in the field of ORACLE and PL/SQL and Database Creation. I had created a database consisting tables and got problem while applying foreign key constraints.
    CUST_MSTR
    CREATE TABLE "DBA_BANKSYS"."CUST_MSTR"("CUST_NO" VARCHAR2(10),
    "FNAME" VARCHAR2(25), "MNAME" VARCHAR2(25), "LNAME" VARCHAR2(25),
    "DOB_INC" DATE NOT NULL,      "OCCUP" VARCHAR2(25), "PHOTOGRAPH" VARCHAR2(25),
    "SIGNATURE" VARCHAR2(25), "PANCOPY" VARCHAR2(1),      "FORM60" VARCHAR2(1));
    (CUST_NO is PRIMARY KEY, )
    -- EMP_MSTR
    CREATE TABLE "DBA_BANKSYS"."EMP_MSTR"("EMP_NO" VARCHAR2(10),
    "BRANCH_NO" VARCHAR2(10), "FNAME" VARCHAR2(25), "MNAME" VARCHAR2(25),
    "LNAME" VARCHAR2(25), "DEPT" VARCHAR2(30), "DESIG" VARCHAR2(30));
    (EMP_NO is primary key )
    --NOMINEE_MSTR
    CREATE TABLE "DBA_BANKSYS"."NOMINEE_MSTR"("NOMINEE_NO" VARCHAR2(10),
    "ACCT_FD_NO" VARCHAR2(10), "NAME" VARCHAR2(75), "DOB" DATE,
    RELATIONSHIP" VARCHAR2(25));
    (NOMINEE_NO is primary key )
    --ADDR_DTLS
    CREATE TABLE "DBA_BANKSYS"."ADDR_DTLS"("ADDR_NO" NUMBER(6),
    "CODE_NO" VARCHAR2(10),      "ADDR_TYPE" VARCHAR2(1), "ADDR1" VARCHAR2(50),
    "ADDR2" VARCHAR2(50), "CITY" VARCHAR2(25), "STATE" VARCHAR2(25),
    "PINCODE" VARCHAR2(6));
    ( ADDR_NO is primary key )
    Problem: I want to apply foreign key constraints on ADDR_DTLS table so that Before inserting value in ADDR_DTLS table it must check, VALUE in ADDR_DTLS.CODE_NO must be PRESENT either in attribute value CUST_MSTR.CODE_NO or EMP_MSTR.CODE_NO or NOMINEE_MSTR.CODE_NO table .
    I applied the foreign key constraints using this syntax
    CREATE TABLE "DBA_BANKSYS"."ADDR_DTLS"("ADDR_NO" NUMBER(6),
    "CODE_NO" VARCHAR2(10),      "ADDR_TYPE" VARCHAR2(1), "ADDR1" VARCHAR2(50),
    "ADDR2" VARCHAR2(50), "CITY" VARCHAR2(25), "STATE" VARCHAR2(25),
    "PINCODE" VARCHAR2(6),
    constraints fk_add foreign key CODE_NO references CUST_MSTR. CODE_NO,
    constraints fk_add1 foreign key CODE_NO references EMP_MSTR. CODE_NO,
    constraints fk_add2 foreign key CODE_NO references NOMINEE_MSTR.CODE_NO);
    (foreign key)
    ADDR_DTLS.CODE_NO ->CUST_MSTR.CUST_NO
    ADDR_DTLS.CODE_NO ->NOMINEE_MSTR.NOMINEE_NO
    ADDR_DTLS.CODE_NO ->BRANCH_MSTR.BRANCH_NO
    ADDR_DTLS.CODE_NO ->EMP_MSTR.EMP_NO
    When I applied foreign key constraints this way, its gives a error called foreign key constraints violation. (I understand that, its searches the attribute value of ADDR_DTLS.CODE_NO in all the three tables must be present then the value will be inserted. But I want, if the value is in any of the three table then its should insert the value or its gives an error.)
    Please help me out, though i put the question and i want too know how to apply the forign key in this way. and is there any other option if foreign key implementation is not pssible.

    If you are on 11g you can use ON DELETE SET NULL:
    CREATE TABLE addr_dtls
    ( addr_no          NUMBER(6)  CONSTRAINT addr_pk PRIMARY KEY
    , addr_cust_no     CONSTRAINT addr_cust_fk    REFERENCES cust_mstr    ON DELETE SET NULL
    , addr_emp_no      CONSTRAINT addr_emp_fk     REFERENCES emp_mstr     ON DELETE SET NULL
    , addr_nominee_no  CONSTRAINT addr_nominee_fk REFERENCES nominee_mstr ON DELETE SET NULL
    , addr_type        VARCHAR2(1)
    , addr1            VARCHAR2(50)
    , addr2            VARCHAR2(50)
    , city             VARCHAR2(25)
    , state            VARCHAR2(25)
    , pincode          VARCHAR2(6) );In earlier versions you'll need to code some application logic to do something similar when a parent row is deleted, as otherwise the only options are to delete the dependent rows or raise an error.
    btw table names can be up to 30 characters and don't need to end with MSTR or DTLS, so for example CUSTOMERS and ADDRESSES might be more readable than CUST_MSTR and ADDR_DTLS. Also if the Customer/Employee/Nominee PKs are generated from a sequence they should be numeric.

  • A question about foreign key to multiple tables

    Hello everybody,
    I have a question about creating foreign key and I would appreciate if you could kindly give me a hand. Here are my tables:
    CREATE TABLE TEAM1(team_id VARCHAR2(20), project_id VARCHAR2(20));
    ALTER TABLE TEAM1 ADD CONSTRAINT PK_TEAM1 PRIMARY KEY(team_id);
    CREATE TABLE TEAM2(team_id VARCHAR2(20), project_id VARCHAR2(20));
    ALTER TABLE TEAM2 ADD CONSTRAINT PK_TEAM2 PRIMARY KEY(team_id);although the structure of both the tables is exactly the same, the values (in particular team_id) in both tables are different.
    Also I have another table named AGENT
    CREATE TABLE AGENT(agent_id VARCHAR2(20), team_id VARCHAR2(20));
    ALTER TABLE AGENT ADD CONSTRAINT PK_AGENT PRIMARY KEY(agent_id)Now the problem is that the column team_id in AGENT table is actually a foreign key, but the value can be in either TEAM1 or TEAM2. As far as I know a foreign key points only to one table.
    How can I deal with this problem? Whenever there is an INSERT or UPDATE I have to make sure that the value of the column "team_id" in the table "AGENT" is a valid value either in "TEAM1" or "TEAM2"
    Thanks in advance,
    Kind Regards,
    Dariyoosh

    Do you have the ability to change the data model? If so a more appropriate structure may be something like this:
    CREATE TABLE TEAM(team_id VARCHAR2(20), team_name VARCHAR2(20));
    ALTER TABLE TEAM ADD CONSTRAINT PK_TEAM PRIMARY KEY(team_id);
    ALTER TABLE TEAM ADD CONSTRAINT UK_TEAM UNIQUE (team_name);
    CREATE TABLE TEAM_PROJECT(team_id VARCHAR2(20), project_id VARCHAR2(20));
    ALTER TABLE TEAM ADD CONSTRAINT PK_TEAM_PROJECT PRIMARY KEY(team_id, project_id);
    ALTER TABLE AGENT ADD CONSTRAINT FK_TEAM_PROJECT1 FOREIGN KEY (team_id) REFERENCES TEAM(team_id);
    CREATE TABLE AGENT(agent_id VARCHAR2(20), team_id VARCHAR2(20));
    ALTER TABLE AGENT ADD CONSTRAINT PK_AGENT PRIMARY KEY(agent_id);
    ALTER TABLE AGENT ADD CONSTRAINT FK_TEAM FOREIGN KEY (team_id) REFERENCES TEAM(team_id);Edited by: Centinul on Jun 25, 2010 10:50 AM

  • [SOLVED] Mapping a compose key in console

    I am trying to successfully (re)map the keys for the console to turn the right control key into a compose key. Please note, this is for the CONSOLE. I already have it working in X using Xmodmap.
    Although this is specifically about a compose key, it should apply to any arbitrary key (re)mapping.
    I have followed the directions here (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KEYMAP), and it works. However, I don't like the idea of having to copy a file to /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/... and modify yet another etc file that comprises of a single line (I do miss rc.conf!).  It would be nice to just run loadkeys - I could put it in my .shrc file - but that utility doesn't seem to want to allow a non-superuser to run it.
    What I'd like to do is have the map file in my home directory and just point there, either through a simple command such a loadkeys that allows me as non-root to run it or if vconsole.conf can point to an arbitrary location.
    Or, is there a compose key already mapped on the us keymap that I'm not aware of?

    I found a working solution for this. As root, I can just...
    # chmod 4755 loadkeys
    ...and I can run that command as a normal user. Now, if only I could signal a command when I hit a key like I do in X to make my three audio keys turn the volume up, down, or mute...

    Not sure what you are asking. Are you asking how to create a partitioned table using a TIMESTAMP(6) column for the key?
    CREATE TABLE TEST1
        USERID                 NUMBER,
        ENTRYCREATEDDATE     TIMESTAMP(6)
    PARTITION BY RANGE (ENTRYCREATEDDATE) INTERVAL(NUMTOYMINTERVAL(1, 'MONTH'))
        PARTITION P0 VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE('1-1-2013', 'DD-MM-YYYY'))
    )See my reply Posted: Jan 10, 2013 9:56 PM if you need to do it on a TIMESTAMP with TIME ZONE column. You need to add a virtual column.

    I figured out that though I was passing the Site under MARC, it wasn't getting transfered to the field. I fixed the code.
    Thanks for prompt response!
