EHS - Synchronization error when trying to generate WWI accident report

Dear all,
I have a problem with WWI accident reports. I have created an accident report template (from the example SOP template), released the template and assigned a generation variant to it. When I try to generate the accident report from CBIH82 Edit Incident/Accident Log, and select "Report Information System" from the menu, I can see the report tree and the report. When I click the report (paper and glass) icon, I see the "Maintain Object Keys" box. The "Person affect..." field is blank; though the input help icon is present, on clicking it, I get the message "No input help available". On clicking OK, I get the error message "Synchronization Failure. Please try to call WWI again."
If anyone knows about this error, could you please enlighten me how to get out of it.
I do not have a problem with the reports linked to specifications, like the MSDS. They are displayed correctly on clicking the report in the report tree.
Thank you and Regards,
Mohan.

Hello Mohan,
I am also getting this error with the WWI gen server when I try to see any report in CVD1 transaction.
Though when I switched the WWI server from 'Service' to 'Console', the problem was solved. I am still working on it to get it working when I run the Gen server as 'Windows service' and not 'Console'. Let me know If you find any lead here.
Thanks,
Hitanshu

  • Error when trying to refresh the current report-Invalid prompt def.WIS00005

    I am trying to create a Webi report using a Universe created with Universe Design Tool 4.0. I have created a new universe with a secured relational connection from a cube in our BBD system. The Universe can be created and exported in UDT (and when I test the connection, I get a message saying the server is responding). I can see values for the BEx query in BEx analyzer.
    When I open Webi and connect to a universe, I can see the universe, but when I put a dimension to our results tab and go to "run query", I first get the error "Error when trying to refresh the current report". If I close this error I get the error "Invalid Prompt Definiton - WIS00005". Has anybody else had this issue and if so, where can I begin to troubleshoot the error?

    Hi,
    Please note that if the object parses at Universe level it may still fail at runtime especially for the prompts.
    If you still experience the error after applying Patch 11 please analyze the characteristics of the prompt, get some trace logs with High level of detail, they surely  will help.
    Thanks!

  • Error when trying to refresh the current report

    I am having this error message "Error when trying to refresh the current report on my reports appear before they are executed. It has been a very random so I am unable to pinpoint what is causing it. I am currently working with BO 4.1 and it is connected to BW, whereby the authentication is SSO.
    Either way the reports are able to run with problems but I dislike having to insist with the refresh button or having to close and reopen the report for it to run as it should.
    I did some investigations but did not find anything conclusive because there is no problems with authorizations, there are no merged dimensions nor grouping variables used in the report and it is based on just one query.
    Does anyone know why this error message appears? What its cause is?

    Hi
    While creating the report if we select the authentication mode as :Use specified user name and password or Use Business Objects credential mapping, will get the same error.
    So if possible can you please test change Connection Type Authentication Mode to Single Sign on.

    This is not really the correct forum to be posting Reports issues. However, if I were to guess, your issue is likely related to the known issues related to installing FMw11R1 on machines which had IPv6 enabled. In most cases, disabling IPv6 would correct the problem, however some issues were not resolved even after disabling IPv6 post-install. I would recommend patching to WLS 10.3.6 and FMw 11.1.1.6 as these versions include fixes for all of those issues as far as I recall.

    Hi Naichen,
    I was able to successfully run both the autotype and clientgen Ant task, on the
    WSDL you provided. The code behind those Ant tasks are pretty much what the WebLogic
    Web Services test page run. Are you using WLS 8.1 SP2? If not, you might want
    to try with that version.

  • CHART BUILDER ERROR WHEN TRYING TO GENERATE DYNAMIC CHARTS ON A JSP PAGE

    I'm working with J Develop 9.03 on Windows 2000 Professional Edition.
    I'm using the JSP demo files provided with Oracle Chart Builder to generate
    dynamic charts. The user specifies the query parameters, including the date
    range and the query results are returned by means of a line chart (with date on
    the x axis and values on the y axis).
    When trying to compile the project I get the following error messages:
    Error(165,2): class FileOutputStream not found in class _graph
    Error(170,5): class File not found in class _graph
    Error(176,4): exception java.io.IOException is never thrown in the
    corresponding try block
    I checked to see that the chartbuilder library (chartbuilder.jar) files are
    loaded into the project library. It's unusual that the class is not being
    found. I don't understand why. I developed my project using the following steps:
    1. Unzipped Chart Builder installation files into c:\Oraclechartbuilder
    2. Loaded chartbuilder class library
    c:\Oraclechartbuilder\chartbuilder\lib\chartbuilder.jar into J Developer class
    path (by selecting <Project Settings> <Paths> and browsing to the
    chartbuilder.jar file).
    3. Created a new JSP page in J Developer (graph.jsp)
    4. Copied JSP code syntax from the Word Pad demo file and pasted into graph.jsp
    5. Changed the DB connection parameters and static directory location on the
    JSP page.
    6. Compiled the project and received the above errors.
    I would like to know why the classes are not being found and how to fix the problem. Thanks, Jaafar

    Hi mshah101,
    This can happen if the applet is compiled using an higher version of java and the browser is pointing to an older version (even if minor version number is higher)

  • Error when trying to generate any of the 6 DPM reports

    When I try to generate a report I get the following error ( Defers a bit between the reports)
    This one was when I tried to get Tape Management report
    An error has occurred during report processing.
    (rsProcessingAborted)
    Query execution failed for dataset 'DataSet1'.
    (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
    Invalid object name
    'vw_DPM_Media'.

    I was doing a side-by-side comparison of the new and old server (we backed up the server before the reformat) and I can see that, evidently, CR XI was installed.  We have the directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0 and all the versions match what is located in the project's bin directory.  Does this confirm that I did have XI installed and licensed at one time?
    If I purchase a more recent version, couldn't I update the reports to use the newer version?  I have all the source code.
    Thanks for your help, it is a nice sanity check for me after hours of reading forums and documentation.
    Also, just a shot in the dark, but I'm assuming it wouldn't do me any good to simply restore the aforementioned folder to my C drive?  Would that work if I registered all the dll's?
    Edited by: Eric Hollering on Dec 2, 2009 6:40 PM
    To be clear, I do have VS 2003 & 2005, and I have the source code.  I just have never used Crystal Reports in any of my .NET apps because the need wasn't there, so recompiling is not out of the question.
    Edited by: Eric Hollering on Dec 2, 2009 6:49 PM
    Also, I looked at the CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll that was in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\Managed folder and when I right-click and view the properties, then the Version tab, in addition to the 11.0.9500.2 version number, there is a property called Product Version that has the value .NET.  Does that mean that this dll was bundled with Visual Studio?
    I also found this directory on the old server...does this tell you anything?
    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11
    I did see that you can still buy XI from CDW.  I have a call into them currently to check with Business Objects for any registrations from my company.

  • Xrpcc modeler error when trying to generate stub classes from a WSDL

    I'm trying to generate JAX-RPC stub classes (both client and server side) from a WSDL in which one of the message parts references a complexType element defined in the <types> section of the WSDL. Here is my little WSDL document:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <definitions name="Book_Def"
    targetNamespace="myTypes"
    xmlns:tns="myTypes"
    xmlns:xsd1="myTypes"
    xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/">
    <types>
    <xsd:schema targetNameSpace="myTypes"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <xsd:element name="Book" type="xsd1:BookType"/>
    <xsd:complexType name="BookType">
    <xsd:all>
    <xsd:element name="authors" type="xsd:string" maxOccurs="10"/>
    <xsd:element name="preface" type="xsd:string"/>
    <xsd:element name="price" type="xsd:float"/>
    </xsd:all>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:schema>
    </types>
    <message name="runMyPgm">
    <part name="book" type="xsd1:Book"/>
    </message>
    <message name="getPgmResponse">
    <part name="result" type="xsd:string"/>
    </message>
    <portType name="MyPgmIFPortType">
    <operation name="runMyPgm">
    <input message="tns:runMyPgm"/>
    <output message="tns:getPgmResponse"/>
    </operation>
    </portType>
    ... Binding stuff
    </port>
    </service>
    </definitions>
    I've tried many combinations of defining my complex type and input message and whenever I run xrpcc using this WSDL as input, I get a Error: Modeler error: invalid entity name: Book (in namespace "myTypes"). Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what am I doing wrong in my <types> or <message> definitions to cause this error? I've had some luck generating stubs when the part types are all simple types, but I've not had any luck with getting a <complexType> definition accepted by xrpcc. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    Yes you can specify type mapping in configuration file and probably this will solve the problem, but I've never tested this approach. Perhaps I'm not advanced user. Actually the serializerFactory and deserializerFactory are a little vague for me:(

    Hi Jim Ji
    The report can be displayed from the java infoview, no doubt, so the report itself works.
    But the report cannot be seen from the "SAP Infoview" (:/businessobjects/enterprise115/sap) which is the infoview, I reference from the Folder iView (through the system in the SAP portal). And since the SAP Portal Integration Kit seems very old - the Folder iView was created 12-08-2004 by Ingo Hilgefort - there might be an old version of the jar-files somewhere in the installation.
    I guess I should check the version of the jar-files in WEB-INF/lib of our web application (Tomcat) folder, and see if they have been overwritten by the SAP Portal Integration Installation or are an older version of the files in Program FilesBusiness Objectscommon3.5javalib? And also check if somewhere in the .../sap installation there are some old jar-files?
    Kind regards,

  • Error WHen trying to print a crystal report

    I am trying to print a system crystal report and it is giving me the following error: "Error during printing; ensure all parameters are defined". And it prints the first page, but none of the consecutive pages if there are more than 1. Is there some type of setting that needs to be set for printing?

    Hmmmmm it says "page range" ALL. I was able to print fine until I created a new layout and saved it. THen I went to print it and got the error. But it seems I get the error when I print any crystal report in any DB. Is this a setting in crystal, SAP, or printer itself? I can print the second page if I toggle through to the second page on the crystal report view, and go to print, and put 2 next to pages feild. Otherwise it is set to print ALL, however it is not doing that.

    Anyone seen anything like this issue for AWR?
    Thanks!

    Mlike,
    Please try to read the error message. as to identify the key error.
    The key error is
    ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 4120 bytes (PLS
    non-lib hp,pdz2M87_Allocate_Permanent)
    This has to do with your OS process limits.
    As you, as usual, didn't post a platform, it is difficult to help you out with exact commands.

  • Out of Memory Error when trying to get a BO Report as an XML

    Hi,
    I am trying to get a BO Report though web services API in XML format. But I am getting a OutOfMemoryError in doing so, though I am trying to get the report contents in an InputStream.
    Please find the code snnipet below:
    ViewSupport xmlViewSupport = new ViewSupport();
              xmlViewSupport.setOutputFormat(OutputFormatType.XML);
              xmlViewSupport.setViewType(ViewType.XML);
              xmlViewSupport.setViewMode(ViewModeType.REPORT);
              RetrieveXMLView retXMLView = new RetrieveXMLView();
              retXMLView.setViewSupport(xmlViewSupport);
              RetrieveData retBOData = new RetrieveData();
              retBOData.setRetrieveView(retXMLView);
              String[] strBORepEngURL = boSession.getAssociatedServicesURL("ReportEngine");
              ReportEngine boRepEng = null;
              DocumentInformation boDocInfo = null;
              Navigate nPage = new NavigateToLastPage();
              try
                   if (strBORepEngURL.length > 0)
                        boRepEng =     ReportEngine.getInstance(boSession,strBORepEngURL[0]);
                   boDocInfo = boRepEng.getDocumentInformation(boQueryDocRef,
                             fillInfo, actions, nPage, retBOData);
              catch(DSWSException exc)
                   exc.printStackTrace();
              XMLView myBOView = (XMLView) boDocInfo.getView();
              InputStream inpStream = (BufferedInputStream)myBOView.getContent();
              try{
                   OutputStream outStream = new FileOutputStream("C:\\abc.xml");
                   outStream.write(inpStream.read());
                   outStream.close();
              catch(Exception ex)
                   ex.printStackTrace();
    In the stack trace I find that the error is coming in this line:
    boDocInfo = boRepEng.getDocumentInformation(boQueryDocRef, fillInfo, actions, nPage, retBOData);
    Any inputs on this issue?
    Thanks and Regards
    Anshu

    Hi,
    The code to fill prompts before this is as follows:
    String[] strBORepEngURL = boSession.getAssociatedServicesURL("ReportEngine");
                   ReportEngine boRepEng = null;
                   if (strBORepEngURL.length > 0)
                        boRepEng =     ReportEngine.getInstance(boSession,strBORepEngURL[0]);
                   RetrieveMustFillInfo fillInfo = new RetrieveMustFillInfo();
                   RetrievePromptsInfo promptInfo = new RetrievePromptsInfo();
                   fillInfo.setRetrievePromptsInfo(promptInfo);
                   Action[] actions = new Action[1];
                   actions[0] = new Refresh();
                   DocumentInformation boDocInfo =     boRepEng.getDocumentInformation(boQueryDocRef,fillInfo,actions,null,null);
                   String reference=boDocInfo.getDocumentReference();
                   PromptInfo[] boPromptInfo = boDocInfo.getPromptInfo();
                   FillPrompts boPrompts = new FillPrompts();
                   FillPrompt[] fillPromptList = new FillPrompt[boPromptInfo.length];
                   fillPromptList[0] = new FillPrompt();
                   fillPromptList[0].setID(boPromptInfo[0].getID());
                   DiscretePromptValue[] dpv = new DiscretePromptValue[1];
                   dpv[0] = new DiscretePromptValue();
                   dpv[0].setValue("2009125");
                   fillPromptList[0].setValues(dpv);
                   boPrompts.setFillPromptList(fillPromptList);
                   actions[0] = boPrompts;
    Thanks and Regards
