Element level encryption in soa composite

Hi All,
Need urgent help for implementing field level encryption in my interface.
This interface takes request from Siebel for Payment Gateway Credit Card authorization . We have 3 BPEL processes , BPEL A- acceptes request from Siebel, BPEL B routes the request to BPEL process C which ultimately interacts with the Payment gateway.
I am using SOA 11g and referred https://blogs.oracle.com/owsm/entry/how_to_field_level_encryption for implementation. However the Credit Card field is never getting encrypted.

I want to place the data in </xenc:CipherData> in file location through a buisness service. I s it possible to get this data in the message pipeline replace the $body and send it.
I am using the OWSM policy oracle/wss11_message_protection_service_policy. Please provide some pointers.

I am on Oracle 11.1.1.7 BPM suite on W8 64 bit. I can't launch the flow trace and get the error "Unable to get the composite instance for the invocation. This could be because instance has not yet been created or because the audit level for the SOA infra has been set to Off". I have set the audit level to development at the soa-infra>SOA Administration> Common Properties > Audit level set to development and Capture Composite Instance State is Checked.
Can somebody advice.

Can you please confirm me the following steps...
Log in to the EM console, Expand soa-infra (soa_server1) , go to the partition where your composite is been deployed, Click on your composite, On the right, click on the dropdown Settings and choose Composite Audit Level. you can choose to set the Audit Level for this composite. If you choose Inherit, it will take the settings to what the server is being set to. Otherwise, we can override it by choosing Off, Production, or Development.
Make sure your setting for that composite is not Off, keep inherit or production or development.

Error while deploying SOA composite via ant

I am getting following error while deploying SOA composite through ant from SOA server (UNIX).It is unable to get mds configuration.
Jdeveloper is not installed in SOA server.
I am trying to copy the SOA project from local machine to SOA server and trying to deploy from SOA server.
Error

MDS-01329: unable to load element "persistence-config"
MDS-01370: MetadataStore configuration for metadata-store-usage "mstore-usage_1" is invalid.
MDS-00503: The metadata path "/u01/orasoa/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/integration" does not contain any valid directories.
I checked /u01/orasoa/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1 directory. Integretion directory is not available.
Am I missing anything?

Error in installing SOA Composites step in Oracle GRC8.6.3 Installation

i am installing oracle grc8.6.3 in windows 64 bit.
i have installed database,rcu,weblogic,soa successfully.in next step i have to install SOA Composite.
when i am running the wlst from oracle_soa1/common/bin and passing the parameter in the wls:/offline i am getting following error

I think you may have gotten confused with the installation guide.
If you're installing GRC, you should not be installing SOA or other components. There are 2 applications you can install from that distribution, GRCC or EGRCM. EGRCM is the one that refers to SOA's if needed, so even then you shouldn't need to install it for testing out the product.

Error during deploying SOA Composite

I have created a SOA Composite in which I am trying to access an External Web Service.
The compilation goes fine but its failing at the time of deployment to Soa Server.
My BPEL consists of following activities-> RecieveInput-> Assign -> Invoke -> Assign -> Callback client
In my composite I have configured WS policies and in BPEL’s invoke activity , I have added headers and endpoint URI as an expression in properties tab.
I am getting the following error at the time of deployment :-
1) Through Jdeveloper and Manually through Soa Server :-

When starting SOA Suite after upgrading from 11.1.1.4 to 11.1.1.6, I experienced a similar error in the soa_server?.out logs:

In my SOA Composite, Can I use file/FTP adapter to get the EDI X12 850

Our requirement is to build a SOA Composite to dump all the details in a EDI X12 850 ( Purchase order ) document in to a database table. In my SOA Composite, Can I use file/FTP adapter to get the EDI X12 850 element details to map them to a base base columns.

Drop the File Adapter to the left lane of the composite i.e., Services lane...
Go to Step 2, give a meaningful name....
Step 3, select "define from operation and schema"
Step 4, select the operation type as "read"
Step 5, select physical path and give the folder path in the "Directory for incoming files" field.,
Step 6, select wildcards and give the expression depending on the file name it would be at run time...
Step 7, select the polling frequency as required....
Step 8, in the URL field, adjacent to that , select "browse for schema file" and select the XSD which you have exported from B2B Editor.
say next and finish, you will be good to go.

Unable to Harvest a SOA composite from SOA suite server to OER11g

I wanted to harvest a SOA composite from SOA suite server to OER11g.For that i had followed this portion *5.2.6.1 Harvesting from Oracle SOA Suite Server* from Oracle® Fusion Middleware Configuration Guide for Oracle Enterprise Repository11g Release 1 (11.1.1) E16580-01 document.
The Version of OER is : OER 11.1.1.2.0 , the version of SOA suite is : 11.1.1.3.0 and the version of SOA weblogic server is :10.3.3
OER and SOA domain are different but under the same Middleware home.
Database is also located at same machine.
The steps i had followed:
1.The User of the weblogic server has these three roles i.e 1. Admin 2. Operator 3. Monitor
2.Unzip the Harvester.zip into the repository location.
3.Modified the <RemoteQuery> section and OER section of HarvesterSettings.xml file
4.using encrypt.bat file encrypted the password.
5.executed the harvester.bat file

You have to import the OER-Harvester-Solution-Pack located at C:\Oracle\Middleware\repository111\core\tools\solutions\11.1.1.4.0-OER-Harvester-Solution-Pack.zip
(path may change under your custom installation) to the OER using the admin option import/export -> import

SOA Composite (having refernce to MDS )Deployment thru ANT script

Cross check them again. Make sure that property mds.db.userid points to a MDS schema (for example dev_mds)

Escalation flow in SOA composite

Hi All,
I have developed a SOA composite in which a request is assigned to beneficiary's manager for approval. If no approval is obtained within a pre-defined time (value set in deadlines tab of .task), it is configured that task is escalated to approver's manager (by setting '+Maximum Escalation Levels+' = 1 and Highest Approver Title: Manager).
But when the task with manager expires, it does not get escalated and I get +Business Fault :
Error in escalating the task on expiration. The task has expired and the system could not compute the management chain from user abc
upto levels 1 upto title Manager to identify the next user to escalate the task to. Make sure that the escalation policy is specified
correctly. Also verify that the users are seeded correctly to compute the management chain+ error.

The issue is resolved by setting only Maximum Escalation Levels property and removing Highest Approver Title property (optional).

Modifying custom developed SOA composite

Hi,
I have developed a custom SOA composite with 2 level of approvers and it is working fine with no issue. And now, I need to add one more level of approval to it.
I have added one extra level and deployed it again into SOA successfully.
Now, if try to test it now, I am getting unexpected errors in all the levels that worked fine before making the changes.
Do I need to do anything else other than re-deploying this composite to SOA? Please let me know.
Can you please provide me the steps to modify a existing custom SOA composite?

1-Modifying the composite to consume events
1.1-add a new mediator component called ThiagoLeoncioPO
1.2-Defining the event
1.3-Open the POProcessing application in JDeveloper and open composite.xml,
1.3.1-click on the Event Definition Creation icon:
1.3.2-Click on OK to complete the event definition.
1.3.3-Close the POEvents.edl panel.
1.4-Save all.
Note: You just created a new event here. And it's available to subscribe or publish.
2.0-Subscribing to the NewPO event
2.1-Drag-and-drop a Mediator component onto the composite.
2.2-Name the mediator ThiagoLeoncioPO.
2.3-Select Subscribe to Events for the Template.
2.4-Click on the + to add an event.
2.4.1-Select the NewPO event from the Event
Chooser window.
2.4.2-Double-click on the ThiagoLeoncioPO mediator and define a new
transformation map.
2.4.2.1- In the transformation-map, map the all the fields from
the source to the target.
2.5- Close the mediator and save all.

Example:
We have a process function "Mutual Acceptance" that requires customer data,
which is in another software module for handling customer master data.

Just some quick notes regarding this complex theme.
To describe the relationships of a business service to other architecture elements create a Business Service Allocation model for each Business Service. Therefore use the diagram type IS Context Model to depict:
* software services implementing the business service
* business data owned by the service
* capabilities
* organizational units
Furthermore Access diagrams can be used to depict a software service with its operations, data input and output, capabilities and roles (as far as notifications or workflows included). An Access diagram gets autoomatically generated while the import of a WSDL. Enrich the diagramm type according to your requirements (for operations you can use the symbol IT Procedure). At the end of the day the model shall serve a descrption for the implementation. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Cannot deploy SOA composite to a managed server

My problem: cannot deploy SOA composite to a managed server.
The following is what I did:
1. I created a domain "devDomain". admin server is created automatically for me.
*2. I created a manged server (soa_server1) on my domain after.*
2. started the admin server
3. started soa_server1
4. see both servers in WLS control, both server state=running
5. see both server in EM console, both server status are up
6. in JDev(11.1.1.5.0), created an application server connection, and tested the connection successfully
7. when I tried to deploy my composite from JDev, I selected the application server connection, on step "SOA servers", it only lists AdminServer.
8. Then I tried to deploy the composite from EM by right-click soa_server1, but "SOA deployment" is not in the list.
My guess: there should be some libraries or other resources applied to soa_server1 before it could accept soa deployment. What are these libraries/resources?
I tried to target all 10 libraries under the path "oracle.soa." to soa_server1, and checked the config.xml and found the file was updated correcly, reboot my pc, restarted the servers, but still face the same problem.
My environment is weblogic 10.3.5.
Basically, my question is:
after a domain is created and admin server is there, if I want to add a managed server which will host soa composites, what should I do to configure the managed server?

How can I add new code to a clustered environment without causing an          outage. Right

How do you use a SOA Composite after you have deployed it and tested it?

I have created a SOA Composite application, deployed it with no problems, and tested and it works. However I am having trouble finding info on what to do next. I really would like to know how to use this SOA Composite application in a web application. I am trying to create an interface that would use the SOA composite. Any links to help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a web service call, you go to EM get the WSDL and with it you generate the webservice client for your web application... By calling the web service you will be starting the composite...

Error after creating Element level join between two different dataset in11G

Hi Experts,
My report is having data from two different datsets, I created two datasets and joined them with Element Level join. I am getting below error.
"The following tags were not closed: DATA_DS. Error processing resource 'http://localhost:9704/xmlpserver/servlet/xdo'. "
But independent datasets are executing with out any errors.
Please let me know, If any one have inputs to resolve this.
