Empty-cells:show CSS style is not work

this is some visual glitch. empty cells of tables not showed as default. And css attribute empty-cells:show not works.

Hey there, It is better if you provide a link.
We need to see how you are calling it. The stylesheet you think is being called may not be etc.

CSS Style sheet not working in DW4

I am new to Dreamweaver CS4 and have been following the tutorials for Beginners on Adobe TV.
I have used a Standard Layout, 2 columns, Header, Footer, Sidebar.
I have created and saved the CSS Style Sheet as suggested in a folder with the CSS panel.
I have made changes to the web page with CSS and can see the changes in Design View on my screen.
However, when I view my trial site in a browser, none of the Style changes are visible. Looking at the XHTML code,
the path to the CSS Style Sheet appears to be correct. What am I doing wrong?

Paste and match style does not work in some cases

My "Paste and Match Style" does not work with some sites.

What happens if you put table Table_1 into the Analytic View?
Also go ahead and and update HANA, Rev.60 is very old by now.

Contribute CS3 not showing css styles

I have 3 almost identical sites I am using Contribute to
allow users to
add content. All internal so I can' show URL's.
The mystery began when I added the third site. On the other
two when
someone edits a page all the css styles show in the Style
drop down panel.
Not so on the third site. I created the other sites a while
back using
Contribute 3. The new one using CS3.
I have checked over and over the role settings for each site
to make
sure I don't have something unchecked or somehow have a
different
setting between the three.
No matter what settings I use in the Styles and Fonts panel,
the Styles
dropdown shows non of the styles included in the linked css
file.

Is the style sheet also present in the document (f.i. by
linking it in the head section: <link href="css/stylesheet.css"
rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" />)? The styles
you want to be displayed in contribute always have to be linked to
the document.

CSS style -Background not showing ?

hi everybody ,
first of all i'm quite new to Dreamweaver and webdesign word so ... sorry if i make mistakes
when trying to prewiew my site , or in dreamweaver itself , i cant see my background (is a .png file made whit photoshop , a simple gradient whit some effects)
i tryed to use the site manage , and set the image default folde , but this didn't resolved anything !

Without seeing the live page its difficult to analyse BUT here's a couple of things you could look at:
1) Is the name of your folder really Images with a cap 'I' or is it images with a lower case 'i' ?
Images/sfondo.png
2) Is your png file saved as RGB and not CYMK color space?
3) Looking at what you have posted the path to your bg image is probably incorrcet
background-image: url(Images/sfondo.png);
Should be: (note the ../ infront of the Images folder name):
background-image: url(../Images/sfondo.png);

Apply CSS style don't works, always checked

I'm using Dreamweaver CS6 on Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3
How can fix this problem? Can't apply the CSS style "Amarillo" on the selected text because is checked BEFORE to the action for apply it.
You can see the picture .error.jpg, the style Amarillo MUST NOT be checked and appears checked. If I change to another style and try again to amarillo then the style is not applied.
Want to convert "A VECES" to <span class="amarillo">"A VECES"</span> using fast GUI Dreamweaver's way and can't do it.
I trash the preferences and don't fix the problem.
Any idea?

But don't works... in both cases loads BOTH MESSAGES and get:

What's wrong here?

Show AppXray dependencies does not work for all projects

I have three projects. One of them will display the appxray dependncies and the other two will not. When I select show dependencies, nothing happens. There is no logging inside the workshop m7.log.0 but the .log has the following. How do I get this to work?

I have set the links styles in my top nav bar to be
Normal: BLUE
Hover: WHITE and BOLD

The bold is working, but the color is not changing
Simular problen on the Vertical Nav Ban

When you use the link pseudclass in your css it has to be expressed in the correct order.

I am trying to define links to site-root relative external style sheets - as I believe that IE conditional comments prevent Templates from correctly updating the links. The styles are not being applied when I use any href path begining with "/". So, the following do not work:
<link href="/styles/myStyleSheet.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<link href="/myStyleSheet.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
Dreamweaver can open the css file from a right-mouse click and even give me warnings about css properties as a tool-tip as I hover over the file. The styles are applied fine with document relative paths:
<link href="../myStyleSheet.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
Any ideas?

Css style sheet not linking

I am fairly new to dreamweaver and css. I have created an
html page and I created an external css style sheet for it. When I
preview it in my browser, it works, but when I FTP it and check the
site on the server, the html page doesn't "refer" to the css page
that I created. I checked my remote view of the server, the style
sheet is there and the source for the web page says that it should
be refering to it.
Here's the link to my page. It's a school project. I only
have the first page created for it so even tho there are rollovers,
there are no pages linked them, so just ignore that.

you will see that I have a couple of other projects up there too.
If you go look at the arts and crafts page you will see that it has
a style sheet that links just fine to it, and I created it in the
same way. I'm at a loss here, since I'm really new to this web
design stuff.
BTW, I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004 right now. I'll upgrade as
soon as I get my new computer, but either way, I don't think that
using an earlier version of the software is what is creating the
problem, right?

returns a
403 (Forbidden) error. An imaginary stylesheet whose name I
entered
returned a 404 (File not found). In the other project which
had an
external stylesheet, there was no problem. So - it sounds
like a
permission issue on silversparkstyle.css. I'm not sure if
MX04 has a
file permissions 'thing' built in; if not, you'll either have
to get an
FTP client which does file permissions (FileZilla for Windows

does), or use a terminal app (SSH, like
putty, in preference to Telnet) to log in and change the
permissions.

My styles are not working in Firefox but do in IE

I am updating a web site and I always check it in both Firefox & IE to be sure it looks right. In this case, the font size and color do not respond to the style in Ff but they are fine in IE.

The letters for Division 1 should be blue, for Div 2 Green and for Div 3 orange. They should also be larger.
Interestingly, on this page http://www.pafosdartsleague.com/index.htm the H1 css to be blue works but not the <p>
Any help would be appreciated.

CSS File Does Not Work

Can anyone help on this ? I started developing a web site and for no apparent reason in Preview, all of a sudden, the site displays as if the CSS file is not being used at all. So far I have not been able to find out why this is happening.
I have checked using the HTML file using the w3c validator, nothing apparently wrong. I have visually cecked the css file and can find nothing obviously wrong.
The most likely cause is the HTML which is below and it looks correct.

I think you are right, it is a bad path. But there is more to this than meets the eye. It looks like either I or Dreamweaver have a defect ...... It seems:
The path was correct at one point as the css file was functioning correctly ......
Now the CSS file is linking correctly, exactly the same thing is happening with images ...
Conclusion: For some reason Dreamweaver suddently started applying an incorrect path for css files and images .... Why? Is it a wrong site setting, am I doing something wrong ? What might that be?
All the file locations came from using the browser facility in CSS Designer and in Insert Image.....and now I have discovered the problem has taken on a new form ..... which is:
All the images should correctly in design view
None of the images show in Preview in Browser - and
In case 1 - the the web site banner is in the css header class, the background shows where the image should be ... (Path on header is /Images/BPMResolutionBanner.jpg )
In case 2 -The image is present and there is a small cross icon in place of the image ... (Path in the HTML Imaage element is /Images/PGWeb.jpg)
The Default Folder for Images in Site Manager is C:\Users\Patrick\Documents\Dreamweaver\Websites\BPMRes\Images\
The Site Manager path is set to Site Root
and I have just discovered if I set the Site Path relative to Document, the problem is resolved !!!!! Hooray !!!!

Style Code Not Working for Read Only Users !

Can anyone help us with this issue. We have created some special Styling code in order to hid the Quick Launch on the home page of our main SharePoint site. The Styling works no problem at
all for users with edit rights, however we found that the styling did not work for users with read only access. What we found was that if we switched on the "Edit Items - Edit items in lists, edit documents in document libraries, and
customize Web Part Pages in document libraries." in the List Permissions for the Permission Levels for the Read Access group, the Styling then works no problem at all. HOWEVER it then gives those users the ability to EDIT the site page, as it then
puts the Edit option on the page top right for the user to click and then mess up the web page, which we can not permit.
SO..... How do we get this styling to work for ALL user types ?

This usually happens when the CSS file is not published or approved, please check it.
If the CSS files uploaded in the Style Library, please check whether you had to check in those CSS files or not.

InfoPath 2013 - Rich Text box - Expand to show all text option not working

I have create an InfoPath form and created a view which will be used for printing. I have a rich text box in this print view and the scroll option for this rich text box is set to "Expand to show all text". However, it is not working and it doesn't
expand the size of the text box based on the content length.
same thing used to work in InfoPath 2010.
Any suggestions?

Hi Wendy,
Here are the steps I have used:
1. On default view added a rich text box.
2. Created another view called Print and mapped it to the same Field which I added to default view
3. Set the Wrap text and Expand to show all text on both the Rich Text Box Properties - in default view and in Print
view. Also set the height of the rich text box to auto.
4. Set the print views as the print view for default view
5. Deployed the form to SharePoint Form Library
6. Opened the form in browser
7. Entered the content in the rich text box in default view. It expands well if I have much content
8. Clicked on Print preview and that opens up the print preview and it shows the rich text box only one line in height and with scroll bar
I missed to mention that it is a web browser enabled form and I am using InfoPath 2013 and SP 2013.
It does work fine in InfoPath client.
