Encore Slideshow problem with fitting slideshow to music

I cannot, even though I checked fit song to slideshow,get it to actually work
Also there is lengthy delay when changing or choosing transitions, music and the fit to slideshow.
any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here... It seems, that Encore is more an Application for playing and not for professional Authoring. But for that it is far too much expensive.

Ovi maps problems with Nokia 5800 xpress music

Since Ovi updated the maps I've had trouble using it. I have version 40 firmware which was installed by Vodafone when my device expired. Despite the update, Ovi maps just crashes the phone when I try to use it. The screen goes blank and I get all coloured lines flashing down one side and the phone reluctantly restarts. Any advice please?

I am having exactly the same problem with my 5800 xpress music having updated to version 40.0.005.235.10 and installed the new version of OVI maps and the software Own Voice.
I have also tried reinstalling the sotware, restoring my phone to factory settings and resetting my phone by pressing the green, red and camera button whilst powering up. The problem persists. I will be making a call and within a few seconds of the call being connected the phone switches off and back on again. I also get the the coloured lines flasing on the screen.
Please Nokia Support, help us out.

Encore cs3 problem with transition in the slideshow

Hi all,
I created slideshow with pan & zoom and default transition (cross dissolve). It worked perfect in monitor however I don't see transition when It played in DvD player. Please help

I went to "Preview page in browser", but it looks the same. Instead of disolving from one picture to the next directly, it always goes on the background first. What I did, ist putting a white rectangle in the background of the slideshow, so it looks like a short flash at least. But it is not what I really want.
I am not sure, how I can provide you the URL of the page with the slideshow. In my browser ist written this: "http://192.168.0.124:33334/Preview/photoart-cologne/index.html". But I think, this is only if you are in the same network, or?

IPhoto problems with Snapshot Slideshow theme

I am having difficulty with making a slideshow fit my music.
I have created sample slideshows, with 45 pics, and have chosen music, around 5 mins in length. When I select fit slideshow to music, the prompt says that I must delete pics or choose at least 4 min 59 secs worth of music.
Any idea how to fix this?

This will sound strange, but may work.
Build your slideshow
Choose theme: Snapshot
Choose music you want played
Choose Settings, LEAVE Show Title checked. Choose Fit to music.
If you decide to uncheck title, do it at the very end.
I found this process solved the problem.

I have a problem with a Slideshow

I have checked the manual, sought help and I still have a problem I can get photos to sync back on my phone from my computer but I have a problem getting a slideshow to sync. I thought it might be the wrong format but my slideshow program has a button for saving it in I-Phone. I have it on my computer but can't get it back on my phone.

Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

Slideshow Problems with .Mac account

When I publish my slideshow (Modern Template) to a folder (not .mac) it works perfectly. But when I publish it to my .Mac account it does not publish the "SlideShow_assets" folder.
As a result the slide show does not work. Double clicks on the photo open a larger pop-up window with the image.

The .Mac slideshow is different then a Folder publish slideshow. The .Mac slideshow uses some .Mac-only features and stuff. The file is probably different.

Problems with changes in iOS5 Music app on iPad

With iOS 5, massive changes have been made to the Music app that makes it virtually unusable for listening to podcasts. Weirdly, these changes were not made on the iPhone version, which still works fine.
My problems are these:
1.     Music App no longer shows which episodes of a podcast have been fully played, partially played, or not played.
2.     The 30-second re-play button is gone.
3.     The 1X - 2X - ½X playback speed button is gone.
These items aren't very important for playing music, but they're pretty critical for listening to podcasts. As I said, these features are still on the iPhone version of iOS5. It's like somebody decided that no one listens to podcasts on the iPad so they took them out. If that's true, then it's just me that's screwed.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to bring these features back? I've tried Apple Care and they didn't have a clue. And before someone suggests it, yes, I have submitted a comment to the feedback web page at Apple.

I am with you.   4 out of 5 people in the office not longer are able to open email attachments(PDFs, jpgs, Office Docs) after upgrading to iOS 5 on iPhones or iPads. It seems to be from only from emails not from a Mac, iPhone or iPad. If you forward the message to youself from an Apple product, you will be able to open the attachment.
If called Apple support and they were not able to help after an 50 Mins. I'm going to re-install iOS to see if if works.

Problem with the Ipod Touch Music Player

Hi, I recently got an iPod touch 3g (8 gig) around christmas, and its been a truly great buy and worked flawlessly. However just recently I started having issues with the iPod's music player.
Ever since last night, I noticed that when I use the music player, and try to move 'FORWARD' a song (IE the double forward arrow button) the arrow would stay white like I was pressing it, NOT move forward a song, the screen would be unresponsive as the current song played, and then after 2-3 seconds the music player would crash and go back to the home screen.
I know it was a crash because when I went back to the music player, it was reset back to the 'Shuffle' option with the list of songs below it (usually, it leaves off on the last song you were listening to.)
I also noticed, that even if I just listened to a song completely without hitting forward, it would STILL freeze up and crash to home screen once the song was finished, even if I DIDN'T press anything.
But apparently the double back arrow (rewind/back) works without crashing it.
So my question is: what can I do to fix this? I already tried restarting my iPod (by holding the top and home buttons for 10 seconds) and it did not solve this. I always keep my iPod charged up, and I can't think of ANYTHING I did yesterday or recently at all to cause this problem....I generally only use the iPod touch for music or internet browsing.

so i went back to the apple store and the only solution was to trade in your phone for a new one because there was a faulty conector in the microport. hopefully you have a waranty and your stuff backed up!

[Solved] Strange problem with my '/home/evert/Music' folder

Good evening everybody,
I'm having since a few weeks some very strange problems with one directory on my hard disk: '/home/evert/Music/'.
The problem is that this directory excists, with all it's subfolders. But i can't see a single file (mostly mp3's) in that folder or subfolders.
Some more background information to make sure i'm not doing something wrong :
http://pastebin.be/4419 : the log file of a 'mpd --create-db' command. This clearly shows that mpd fills his database with the music. And even more, i'm able to play all that music.

15G total
So this folder really excists and is filled with a lot of music files normally .

Strange ? In this folder really was music acording to the mpd --create-db log file ?!

As user i'm having all rights to this folder, so that isn't the fault.
Even when trying to see the files, neither konq in su mode or MC works.
Anybody who knows something more about this problem or could help me a bith further pls ? I'm running XFS as filesystem on this partition.

Problems with X-Fi Xtreme Music and Virtual Instrume

I am using Cakewalk's Sonar Home Studio 6?XL and MOTU Symphonic Instrument. I have some virtual instruments that are less detailed that seem to run great, but so far I can't play MOTU SI in stand alone mode without getting po

I can play it in Cakewalk, but I can not assign a MIDI file to it and have it play it without getting the same kind of pops I was getting in stand alone mode. I read an earlier post about problems with NVidia and that is the maker of my motherboard. I have not had any problems with the pops in instances where I am just playing audio from a CD or?by playing a wav. or mp3. I bought this card because of the the ASIO?2.0 compatibility, but I am starting to have my doubts on whether or not this card can handle what Creative claims. Anyone got any ideas? I appreciate any help I can get.

Problems with X-Fi Xtreme Music and

Hi people.
I have been having some problems with enableing EAX in ganes and so on.
Fot instance in Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne, it says something like this "The 3D provider could not be installed, reverted to next best provider".
EAX in that game is only version 2, so why can i use EAX in games?

Have You forget? You are back in the 80's again! Use Creative Cr..s Mode Switcher and manually switch to Game Mode. And don't forget to manually switch to other Mode before launching any other applications. If You don't have Mode Switcher (Volume Panel) in system tray and obvoiusly don't have any system slowdowns and not experioncing high RAM usage that means You don't have Creative Bloatware installed. You can find it on X-Fi instllation CD.

MacBook - problems with iPhoto slideshow music

Just got my brand new MacBook today and imported everything from old PowerBook. However now that I am trying to play a slideshow in iPhoto, the music to it will not play. Yet it will play in iTunes app itself, but not within the slideshow in iPhoto? Have downloaded all upgrades but still not working. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks!

Apologies! It is now working just fine. I had forgotten to run Disk Utility Repair Permissions. It's been a long day setting up the new MacBook and my brain is addled!

Problems with exporting slideshows (Origami)

Is anyone else having this problem: can' export any slideshow that has the Origami theme applied to it. All other themes seem to export with no problem. Incidentally, the exact same scenario is not working with Aperture.

Well I don't know if it's entirely responsible for your problem seeing as someone else is also having the same issue, but your profile says you're using OS 10.5. Is that accurate? Because the minimum system requirements are 10.6.3. http://www.apple.com/ilife/systemrequirements.html.
