Encrypting a java class

Hi i have written a java source with the syntax
CREATE OR REPLACE AND COMPILE JAVA SOURCE NAMED "xxxxx" AS
which has been loaded into the database successfully. Is there anyway of encrypting wrapping the java source code like you can with plsql packages using the wrap utility??

not that experienced on java or how it is handled by the database....
I was assuming that the wrap utility encrypted the text of plsql packages using a hashing algorithm and key method. I was therefore hoping that this could be extended to java source files so that the source could be wrapped and then loaded in the encrypted format and therefor stored in an encrypted format which would not be retrievable from user_source in a readable format (just like plsql packages).
I was further hoping that the database would then be able to unencrypt the source text when called by the jvm; on the same principles of wrapped plsql pakages when they are handled by the plsql engine??
I was raising this in the hope that oracle would provide a secure solution to storing java source within the database and a secure way of delivering database compilable source as an alternative to class files?
i reiterate my knowledge of java and the oracle jvm is very limited so i apologise if the above does not make much sense....

AES Algorithm error when trying to encrypt using stored Java class.

Dear All,
We have a specific reuirement where in we cannot use DBMS_CRYPTO package to encrypt/decrypt data using AES Algorithm
So I am trying to use a stored Java class and I am getting "AES algorithm not available".
I am using Oracle 10gR2 standard edition.
Below is my code

2. Stored function to access the above Java class.
3. Test anonymus PL/SQL to test above code.
Please help me finding the problem why I am getting "AES algorithm not available" error when I call stored Java class in Oracle.?
**** If I use "DES" algorithm, it works. Also the Java code works well if I execute it as normal Java class from Eclipse.
I verified the java.security file in jre/lib/security and I see that there is provider entry for SunJCE.
The jre version in Oracle is 1.4.2.

I guess I'd be a bit curious about why you can't use a DBMS_CRYPTO solution that provides identical output. It seems odd to want to have a procedure running inside Oracle and then dictate that it has to be Java and not PL/SQL...
I verified the java.security file in jre/lib/security and I see that there is provider entry for SunJCE.
The jre version in Oracle is 1.4.2.Which java.security file are you talking about? The JVM that is inside the Oracle database does not and can not use configuration files that are outside the database. I suspect when you talk about files and paths that you're looking at a JVM outside the database, which is not the JVM that your Java stored procedure would be using.
Looking at the error, my assumption is that some JAR file needs to be loaded into the internal JVM in order for the AES algorithm to be available. But I'm unfortunately not familiar enough with these classes to say what that would be.

Java .class files low-level (hex) editing?

Hello, all!
I have a problem:
There is an application (namely a J2ME instant messanger for Nokia mobiles). It is a non-commercial application. But unfortunately, there is a bad bug in the application. It is not even a bug, it is more a feature - but it does not support Russian (cyrillic) characters encoding. Russian characters in all incoming messages are displayed with a kind of hierogliphs.
I wrote to developers (and not only I did - I know at least 3 russian people who also wrote a developer about this) - but unsuccessful. Developer keeps silent.
So what I decided is to fix the bug by myself :) By decompilation, e t.c.
Unfortunally, the midlet is hard obfuscated :( So it took me some hours of reading obfuscated code, and now I see some ways which I must try to solve the problem. I think I must write a code which processes the desired String variables (Despite obfuscation, I can see which Strings to process to obtain effect), and inject this code somewhere to be executed, and from where it could reach the desired Strings.
But the great problem is that obfuscated classes produce a lot of erroneus code, which can not be compiled back. So I decide to reject the decompilation at all, or at least of the big classes (where it is a lot of errors, which I can not correct manually).
In some moments, the application stores the desired Strings in the java.lang.Hashmap. So if I could place my processing code into the Hashmap methods, then I could easily process what I need.
Evidently, I can not edit the real basic java classes. But why not to make the applicaton using my class with identical functionality, instead of java.jang.Hashmap?
My idea now is to edit the .class file of the midlet (yeah, edit with notepad), replacing all the references to "java/lang/Hashmap" or "java.lang.Hasmap" with "java/lang/Fuckmap" and "java.lang.Fuckmap".
So did I (replaced it in norepad).
I read the Sun's documentation about .class file structure, and it seems that nothing is against it. There is no encryption, no checksums, e t.c.
Then I produced "Fuckmap" class this way:

And placed it into java/lang folder inside the application jar.
I instead of working properly, I get the "Application error - invalid constant pool entry"). What do I do wrong?

I jave just tried it, and used "jaga/util/Fuckmap" (jaga, not java). But still the same ("Invalid constant pool entry). I tried two times (maybe I could make something wrong?), both times took "clean" jar package, e t.c.
Do you really think jav.alang.Hashmap should help now? I have ony little hope :(

Connecting to an Https Server via a Java class.

I have written a class that needs to make an HTTPS connection
to a Server.(Servlet called Receive_Https_Data).
For a test purpose I configured Tomcat with SSL,created a server
certificate,and imported this certificate in the jre/lib/security file,
so that we trick the client(ie the Java class) into accepting this certificate.
So now when I make an https connection from the Java class
,I send some data to this servlet and receive a response.
This works fine.
Now I need to send data over https to a Server which has a valid certificate
issued by a CA.
Now,how do I make my Java Class Client accept this certificate?
How do I import a valid certificate in the jre/lib/security file?
I am not a browser but a Java class.? Has anyone understood my question?

Call a local program in Java class on Win

I'm now working on a Java project. It is needed to call a local program in Java class.
Following is the local program's source code:

In fact, my project is to encrypt/decrypt by Gnu PG.
I need to execute a gpg command like following
gpg -r Luna --encrypt test.txt
I could execute this command line in CMD normaly:

This make me have to invoke this command in Java class like following(in my understanding):

Is it possible to invoke a Java class from Data Services 4.0?

Is it possible to invoke a Java class from Data Services? I have a query transform with a varchar column which I want to run an external java class against to encrypt the string value. In the Management Console, I created an adapter of type TestAdapter and referenced my jar file in the Classpath section, but when I create a Datastore of type Adapter I can't import any functions related to my java class? It seems like I need to create a new Adapter type similar to the TestAdapter with the 'Adapter Class' set to my java class? I can't figure out how to do this - which is the correct approach and is there some documentation available? thanks!

then u need to call the function of the class , and then you can put the value in a string .

Java class protection.

Well, I have an application that checks with an authentication server if it's ok to run the application. Well, I obfuscated the classes. But alas, it was cracked (by a friend of mine). All he had to do is change the byte code or something like that. How do I protect my Java classes from cracking?

I don't think I have heard of someone using an
assembler to crack a java app. I was actually talking about C/C++ programs. So compiling to native code would not help (except for the fact that there are less talented assembler programmers, but then there are more c-r-a-c-k-e-r-s within that scene)
Using a decompiler is
far easier. No matter what you try to do to protect
your java code, it will always be easy to decompile.
Lets say you encrypt your class files. All you have
to do is modify the java source to store any classes
it loads, and then decompile it from that level. It
sounds hard, but it is extremely easy to do.I've seen some good obfuscators for Java. Those obfuscators generates code that most decompilers can't handle (illegal instructions etc)

Error while deploying web service from Java class

Hi,
I have a simple java class which I want to deploy as web service with some methods in the Java class as web service operations.
How to do this in Jdev 11g?
Is there any good detailed tutorial on this?
I just created an web service from the class and went for deployment in Weblogic.

XSLT Mapping with Java class not working in Integration Repository

Hi,
I have an XSLT mapping program with Java enhancement and I was able to successfully tested it in Stylus Studio. However, when I imported the Java class and the xslt program in Enterprise Service Builder and tested it, my program does not compile.
Here is the error message: "Transformer Configuration Exception occurred when loading XSLT mapping_temp.xsl; details: Could not compile stylesheet".
My java program is in a zip file containing SOAPHeaderHandler.java and SOAPHeaderhandler.class. My Java has a package com.nga.xslt.
Here is the declaration of my Java class in the XSLT: xmlns:javamap="java:com.nga.xslt.SOAPHeaderHandler"
It seems that it could not read the java class. Can you please advice what is wrong?

select XMLTOOLKIT option in Operation mapping and execute it.
I am not sure we can call java program in XSLT Program,but alternative is copy the code and use it in XSLT mapping it self,that means your XSLT program will become with JAVA extensions.
then in Operation mapping level select SAPXMLTOOL kit option and execute it. i hope it will work. if it is not working then you have deploy some JAXP files on server,because the way execution of XSLT Mpaping program got changed,like when eve you executing XSLT with extnasions( if you are not using XMLTOOL kit option) then you have to use latest version of JAXP.JDK files.

How to call a PL/SQL procedure from a Java class?

Hi,
I am new to the E-BusinessSuite and I want to develop a Portal with Java Portlets which display and write data from some E-Business databases (e.g. Customer Relationship Management or Human Resource). These data have been defined in the TCA (Trading Community Architecture) data model. I can access this data with PL/SQL API's. The next problem is how to get the data in the Java class. So, how do you call a PL/SQL procedure from a Java program?
Can anyone let me know how to solve that problem?

Could someone post a detailed method of invoking custom java classes that works including what files go where, settings and the way it is invoked etc.
I have tried various ways from this forum and in the documentation without success. I am using IDM 8. I found these instructions regarding how you would do it if you were writing custom resource adaptors in the deployment tools guide:
To install a resource adapter youve customized:
1. Load the NewResourceAdapter.class file in the Identity Manager installation
directory under
idm/WEB-INF/classes/com/waveset/adapter/sample
(You might have to create this directory.)
2. Copy the .gif file to idm/applet/images.
This .gif file is the image that displays next to the resource name on the List
Resources page, and it should contain an image for your resource that is
18x18 pixels and 72 DPI in size.
3. Add the class to the resource.adapter property in

I tried the instructions here but placed my custom class in a folder entitled custom instead of /adapter/sample. Not sure about instruction 3 or whether it is relevent. Anyway nothings working.

Hi,
The way to add custom class is the same as you followed , put them in the WEB-INF/classes.
To use the custom adapter ,
Go To Resources - > Configure Types -> Add Custom Resource .
Type in the fully qualified class name of the custom adapter you added.and Save.
Now the new adapter you added should showup in the list of available adapters when you try to
configure a new adapter.
(Make sure that the prototype XML of your custom adapter is correct so that it displays the correct name / type for the adapter in the adapter list.

How to return Values from Oracle Object Type to Java Class Object

i have created an Oracle Object Types in the Database. Then i created Java classes with "jpub" of these types. Here is an example of the type.

My problem is, that if i use the member function "load_object" from my java app it doesnt return the selected values to the java class and i dont know why. I use the java class like this:
PersonObjectType p = new PersonObjectType();
p.load_object(4);
There is a reocrd in the database with id = 4 and the function will execute successful. But if i try to use "p.getVorname()" i always get "NULL". Can someone tell me how to do that?
