EOIO for multiple AE interfaces

Hi,
We have a requirement where we need to process interfaced flat files coming from several separate sender JMS channels in exactly the sequence that they come in.
What we do not want is that intrfaces overtake each other because they were processed with priority or because of the file size they get assigned different rfc queues in XI.
It is sort of an EOIO but then over multiple different interfaces.
All the problem we have now lie in the fact that it is not entirely which inbound and outbound rfc queues are used so at the end the sequence of the interfaces is uncertain.
Is it possible to create and use a single rfc queue (both inbound and outbound) for this situation? Would I use the JMS messaage selector value for this?
I just need a general solution direction, I can find the details out myself.
What is the best (most reliable) way to do this?
Thanks a lot!
Tom

Hi,
I only just now saw the answer, but that is in fact what we implemented and works like a charm. Much easier than I thought it would be.
Thanks
Tom

  • What is the best method for multiple language interface?

    Hi,
I need to adapt my CVI application to multiple languages.  But I have to be able to do this on the fly.  The Localizer is great for all the panel objects and this works great.  But I was wondering what the best method is for all the dialog box text?  Right now I'm using const char defines for the text. For exampl:
    const char *CONST_NO_STRING         = "No";
Is there a simple method, or best practice method, to load different language dialog text at run time or on the fly?
    Thanks,
    Andy

Not sure if Andy's original concern was settled... but let's try and button this up:
    - The UI Localizer does use a text file with manually-written translated strings for each supported language
    - From the Localizer help: this will only aid in translating the panel labels.
Use this instrument driver to easily display user interfaces in different languages. When loading a panel or menu bar, you can specify a language file that contains translations for all the labels on the panel and all the menu items. You can create different language files for the user interfaces by translating them with the User Interface Localizer utility (localui.exe).
    - If you have additional content to be translated (like the text inside a drop down box), manually loading from .lwl, or similar, files and programmatically setting those dialog box entries would be the solution. - Looks like CVI should handle multibyte languages just fine (see below), though I have never used them.

  • RMI for multiple remote interfaces

We have a few classes that extend multiple remote interfaces. The stub and
skeleton created by the weblogic rmi compiler have strange names like
    WLSkel3f2i4g44322n5l3i1r224p60697473f.class and
    WLStub3f2i4g44322n5l3i1r224p60697473f.class.
Is this ok? How can we make it create "normal" class names?
    Thanks,
    Inbal

try using the -nomanglednames option on the weblogic.rmic compiler.
I think what you've got is OK - it's a result of the clever stubs weblogic
    generates for rmi.
It's documented in the "Using weblogic RMI" guide.

  • Software architecture for multiple device interface

    Hi everybody!
I'm quite new at LabVIEW and I have a question regarding software architecture.
I have to program a software for controlling 3 motorized stage, a camera and a pump. I have separately programmed VI's that control each of them and now I would like to merge them in a single program and I don't know what is the best way to do it.
So far my sub-VIs are made of "event-based" structure that reacts when the users click on pushbuttons. Should I simply put all my sub-VIs (i.e. multiple event structures) in one big while loop? Is it the best way to do it? I've been looking for a while for references about that but I couldn't find any relevant ones and I would really appreciate your help. Also if you know good references please share them to me.
    Many thanks!
    Bests,
    Julien

If you could give me more details or send me a link to references about it it would be awesome.
Sure, have a look at the attachement and see if it could be extended for your use?
It is a fairly simple implementation. I use it for reading for a number of different InputStream devices, such as FPGA DMA FIFO's, sockets, files, etc..

  • How to maintain EOIO for JMS to multiple webservices scenario

    Hi,
    I have a requirement that
how to maintain EOIO for JMS to multiple webservices scenario.
JMS queue has multiple messages, each message has to be sent to either of 2 receivers.
How to maintain EOIO in case, when there are 2 receivers.
    Regards
    Sekhar

    Hi,
since messages are split between 2 webservices receivers, each would have its own SOAP adapter.
So if order of messages in the JMS queues is M1, M2, M3 and M4 . There is a field based on which split happens.
Say, if M1 and M3 have to go Webservice1 (will have its own mapping)
and M2 and M4 have to go Webservice2. (will have its own mapping)
we'll have two receivers in the receiver determination and hence two Interface determinations.
    The result should be
    M1 delivered to Webservice1
    M2 delivered to Webservice2
    M3 delivered to Webservice1
    M4 delivered to Webservice2
How will we maintain EOIO in this case?

  • How to Configure Cisco ASA 5512 for multiple public IP interfaces

    Hi
I have a new ASA 5512 that I would like to configure for multiple public IP support.  My problem may be basic but I am an occasional router admin and don't touch this stuff enough to retain everything I have learned.
Here is my concept.    We have a very basic network setup using three different ISPs that are currently running with cheap routers for internet access.  We use these networks to open up access for Sales to demo different products that use a lot of bandwidth (why we have three)
I wanted to use the 5512 to consolidate the ISPs so we are using one router to manage the connections.  I have installed an add on license that allows multiple outside interfaces along with a number of other features.
Outside Networks (I've changed the IPs for security purposes)
    Outside1 E 0/0 : 74.55.55.210  255.255.255.240 gateway 74.55.55.222
    Outside2 E 0/2: 50.241.134.220 255.255.248 gateway 50.241.134.222
    Inside1 : E 0/1 192.168.255.1 255.255.248.0
    Inside2 : E 0/3 172.16.255.1 255.255.248.0
My goal is to have Inside 1 route all internet traffic using Outside1 and Inside 2 to use Outside2.    The problem is I can't seem to do this. I can get inside 1 to use outside 1 but Inside2 uses Outside 1 as well.
I tried adding static routes on Outside2 to have all 172.16.248.0/21 traffic use gateway 50.241.134.222 but that doesn't seem to work.
I can post my config up as needed.  I am not well versed in Cisco CLI, I've been using the ASDM 7.1 app.  My ASA 5512 is at 9.1.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions/help

I have been away for a while and am just getting caught up on some posts. so my apology for a delayed response.
I find the response very puzzling. It begins by proclaiming that to achieve the objective we must use Policy Based Routing. But then in the suggested configuration there is no PBR. What it gives us is two OSPF processes using one process for each of the public address ranges and with some strange distribute list which uses a route map. I am not clear what exactly it is that this should accomplish and do not see how it contributes to having one group of users use one specific ISP and the other group of users use the other ISP>
    To the original poster
It seems to me that you have chosen the wrong device to implement the edge function of your network. The ASA is a good firewall and it does some routing things. But fundamentally it is not a router. And to achieve what you want were a group of users will use a specified ISP and the other group of users will use the other ISP you really need a router. You want to control outbound traffic based on the source of the traffic, and that is a classic situation where PBR is the ideal solution. But the ASA does not do PBR.

    Hi Nitin,
One solution is to create one sender interface (with either multiple operation of each interface or having all structure in different node and optional occurrence), then use operation specific mapping.

  • Include multiple sub-interfaces in Cisco ASA for VPN tunnel

I am trying to create a VPN tunnel between two Cisco ASAs where one ASA has multiple sub-interfaces.
Say, In Cisco ASA 5550(in datacentre), I created multiple subinterfaces with VLAN ID as below:
    Inside, int0/1 : 10.1.1.0/24
    DMZ, int0/1.100: 10.1.100.0/24 (VLAN 100)
    Production, int 0/1.101 : 10.1.101.0/24 (VLAN 101)
    Management, int 0/1.102: 10.1.102.0/24 (VLAN 102)
And another Cisco ASA 5505 is only configured with 1 x inside interface Inside, int 0/1: 192.168.1.0/24
So far, I have only been able to provide outside access to one of the sub-interfaces as NAT rule on inside interface didn't work for VLANs. Hence had to issue Global NAT rule to be applied on Production subinterface so that production VLAN can have outside access. I have managed to establish VPN tunnel between two ASAs on Production sub-interface only, Source interface = Production subinterface
    Additional settings:
Have ACL to allow all sub interfaces to access outsite ( lower security level)
NAT rules is configured on Production subinterface with Source NAT Type as Dynamic PAT; when this was configured with source interface as inside, PCs behind various VLAN coun't access internet.

You can certainly do what you want in LV, but you all have to create the UI manually. Beyond that, this configuration dialog is just another LabVIEW program.
What exactly is the problem you are having? I can't open your code because NI still hasn't released the beta version of LabVIEW 2015 for Android.

  • Using Ciscoworks to update netmask on mgmt interface for multiple switches

Is it possible to user Ciscoworks LMS 3.2 to update the netmask for a management interface on multiple switches? For example, say I have a 3750 access switch management network, 172.28.185.0/27 (default gateway 172.28.185.1) that we're resizing to a /26. Is there a simple way to update just the netmask for the management interface on those devices using Netconfig?
    -David

Unfortunately not.  You could use Netconfig or even baseline compliance for this, but since you need to know each interface's IP, that means you'd have to create parameterized templates.  Therefore, you would have to create a template "answer" file for each device in this subnet which had their IP address for the interface in question.
Baseline compliance might be a little easier with a template like:
    Commandlet : CheckIP
    IsPrereq : Yes
    Submode : interface [#.*Ethernet.*#]
    + ip address [#172.58.185.\d+#] 255.255.255.224
    Commandlet : ReplaceIP
    Parent : CheckIP
    + ip address [IP] 255.255.255.192
You would still need to provide a value for [IP] for each device when performing a deployment.

  • Problem in Interface determination for multiple MM

    Hi experts,
i designed an IDOC to Jdbc scenario.
The particular thing is that I have TWO message mappings to apply for the same source and same target.
Hence, I have in my directory two scenarios with :
    - same Reveicer Determination
    - same Interface Determination
    - differents Receiver agreements (i have two Communication Channels)
In my interface determination, I have configured a standard Interface determination with my two interface mappings to apply.
My problem is when I send an idoc, the result should be for my two interfaces differents payloads to inject to the database, but I get the same payload for both interfaces with the same namespace...it looks like it only use one Interface mapping instead of both...
    It is driving me crazy...
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Kind regards,
    Jamal

    Hi,
    i have the same receiver.
I do have two interface mappings in my interface determination. The problem is that it uses the same for both interface.
If I use enhanced ID, i can only specify one Interface mapping.
    What I want :
    - sender A - Message mapping 1 - receiver A
    - and also sender A - Message mapping 2 - receiver A
    when the idoc is sent.
what I have right now (though my configuration seems to be right) :
    - sender A - Message mapping 1 - receiver A
    - and also sender A - Message mapping 1- receiver A
    Thanks a lots,

  • ADF Service Interface: two-phase commit issue for multiple data sources

In FusionApps, For a service interface we had to use two DataSource resources (in the ejb-jar.xml),
one is ApplicationServiceDBDS for SI and the other one is ApplicationDBDS(I don’t know the exact reason why this is needed, but when running the webservice, Framework was throwing an error asking for this) After adding these two, now(while running the webservice) we’re caught up with an error saying that unable to participate in two phase commit. I think this is because we added two dataSources, if we just use one dataSource everything is working fine.
    Error message from app server:
"JDBC driver does not support XA, hence cannot be a participant in two-phase commit. To force this participation, set the GlobalTransactionsProtocol attribute to LoggingLastResource (recommended) or EmulateTwoPhaseCommit for the Data Source=ApplicationDB"
we have made the changes to ApplicationDB as said in the error message, but then the server is failing to start because of this.

    Hi,
this is what the doc says - though not about two phase commit but transaction sharing:
"At runtime, the calling client and the ADF service may or may not participate in the same transaction, depending on the protocol used to invoke the service (either SOAP or RMI). Only the RMI protocol and a Java Transaction API (JTA) managed transaction support the option to call the service in the same transaction as the calling client."
When your application accesses a remote ADF Business Components service, each remote call is stateless, and the remote service will not participate in the same transaction as the business component that uses a service-enabled application module's service interface.
In the majority of the cases, calls to remote services will be informational in nature and will not make changes to remote objects. However, if you must use a remote service to make changes, then keep these points in mind:
An exception thrown by the remote service will cause the local transaction to fail.
If you successfully call a remote service that results in modifying data, and then subsequently your local transaction fails for any reason, then it is the responsibility of your error handling code to perform a compensating transaction against the remote service to "undo" the previous change made."

  • Multiple targets for a same interface

    Hi,
I am having a scenario that, a single source table should be mapped to two target oracle tables.
Is the only way is to create two interfaces. Cant we have the same interface in which two target tables are assigned?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ram Mohan T.

A single interface targets only a single table/datastore.
If you are having to load the data from an external source, and load into two tables, an approach is to separate the load and integration phases. Have one interface load the data into a temporary table in the work schema, then two interfaces which read that data and load it into your target tables. (You could also use only two interfaces, where you set the integration KM option to DELETE_TEMPORARY_OBJECTS in the first to no, and read the loading table created there in the first interface as the source for your second interface). I prefer the 3 interface option, it ends up being cleaner and clearer.

  • One search help for multiple select-options in webdynpro abap

    Hi,
I need a way to use one search help for multiple select-options fields. My scenario is :
I have a table for keeping different organizational units' values of different systems. I have pasted some sample data from this table at the end of this mail. On the screen I want to have 1 select-options filed for werks, and 1 select-options filed for vkorg. (In fact I will have more org. unit fields...) In the beginning of my application the user will select sid.
If the user selects ADS as SID, when he opens search-help for the first org. unit (werks), he will see the records with SID: ADS, VARBL = $WERKS, LANGU = SY-LANGU.
If the user selects AGT as SID, when he opens search-help for the second org. unit (vkorg), he will see the records with SID: AGT, VARBL = $VKORG, LANGU = SY-LANGU.
I have created a search-help taking SIDD, VARBL and LANGU as import parameters; used field mapping and bound this search help to my table. I have created 2 context nodes : org1 and org2 having attributes SID, VARBL, VALUE, LANGU .
I have assigned related SID, VARBL and Langu values to these attributes at runtime as I needed. That way, if I use input field and reference to the related context attributes org1-value and org2-value2 accordingly, search help works well as I want.
However, when I use select-options field , I can not bind the field to the context data. I can give reference only to ddic structure. Is there any way to reference to a context attribute? I searched for this in SDN, but could find nothing.
I think I won't be able to use this way. What do you say?
As I read from forums maybe using OVS help will be suitable for me. But I have to use one search-help for all select-options fields. Do you know how I can determine the active select-options field and pass its name (for instance "werks" ) as parameter to this OVS search help. (Also I'll pass SID and LANGU.)
    MY TABLE (ZBYYT080) CONTENTS:

    Hi,
Your ques is how to refer to a DDIC search help to refer to selection screen parameter ?
    Am I right ?
If Yes, then in the interface IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS
    method ADD_SELECTION_FIELD, ADD_PARAMETER_FIELD etc
    have importing param like I_VALUE_HELP_TYPE and  I_VALUE_HELP_ID, I_VALUE_HELP_MODE, I_VALUE_HELP_STRUCTURE
etc which may help you to link your create DDIC Search help to selection screen params.
this is just a clue from my side. I haven't tried it myself.
You can go to the where used list of this method and find some sample implementations which use these params.
    Hope this helps.
