Error during dimension load in planning using ODI adapter

I have created a Planning app in Classic and used ODI Planning adapter to load the dimension from a csv file. I tried this with Account and Entity dimension. Both fail at the same step. This is the error I get.
Error:
-22 : S0002 : java.sql.SQLException: Table not found: C$_0Entity in statement

Step 1 - Loading -SS_0 - Drop work table - It is failing in this step with the following message:

Load members and sort in Planning using ODI

Is it possible to load the members and also sort all the members, after the load, when loading into Hyperion Planning using ODI? If there are new members after the previous load, the new nembers are being added at the end. I tried to sort my source but it's the same. I also had SORT_PARENT_CHILD set to Yes.

Hi,
There are sometimes issues with the sorting using the parent/child option, I think it stems from the old days of HAL as that wasn't the best at sorting.
The options are use the planning sort member utility or depending on how you loading the hierarchy you can order it before it is loaded, if you are using a repository you can create a view to return the members in the correct order or use an id to badge the members in the correct order.

Maintain attribute dimensions in Hyperion Planning, via ODI

How can I move/maintain attribute members in Hyperion Planning, preferably via ODI?
I have been loading an attribute dimension into Hyperion Planning, via ODI. The problem is that some children have been previously loaded to incorrect parents. However, a reload does not seem to move the children to their rightful place in the hierarchy.
There are no errors being generated.

Are you definitely sure it is not on the planning side the issue lies, I would create a file and then use the outline loader to compare load times to see where the issue is first.

I am using ODI 11g and trying to load the metadata for Hyperion Planning application 11.1.2.1. But I couldnt load all the Product members in Product Dimension.
Could able to load few members but was able to run the interface successfully but thrown error while loading few members(Most of the members are shared members, verified that base members existed). Please find the below error log.

Members rejected during dimension load

Hi,
I am trying to deploy an application from Essbase studio. It loads few members and rejects few members. And it does not load any member to scenario and Version dimensions. I have the source in Parent, child relationship and the top most parent being #root for every dimension.
And when I preview the hierarchy, it shows in correct parent child relationship. But after the cube deploy, in the outline it is in random order. All parents are created under the dimension itself. And the error during cube deploy in Essbase studio is

If you look at the Error record it says you have same member/alias twice, check the source and see if you have special characters?
Also check for duplicate members.

Strange Error During Page Load in Debug Mode (only) - Please Help!

Need help with how to troubleshoot a Critical problem. The following error only occurs during page load in "Debug" mode. And, only occurs on a specific page within the application. A web page is served-up containing the following message and the application is blocked from running the page. The browser's (IE 8.0) back button must be clicked to proceed outside of "Debug" mode.

All,
It appears that the page Javascript maximum limit size was reached. The error stopped appearing after some of the page Javascript code was removed out to Application Static Files. I wonder if there exists any "direct" indicator by the system whenever the size limit has been reached?
Again, the run error only occurred when the page was loaded in "Debug" mode.

Extracting Outline from Planning using ODI

Hi John,
I would like to extract the outline from my Planning application using ODI.
When i did the extraction from the essbase, most of the properties of the members are differing wrt the Planning properties.
Is there any way to extract the outline directly from Planning.

The properties have a different name but they are the same thing, you just need to transform the name into the planning equivalent.
There is currently no adaptor to extract,usually a utility it can be done by the outline loader in version 11.1.2.1

The RFC Destination for Replication & Realignment (Clt 000) isn't set because only the root admin has access to clnt000 and he's in vacation. Could that be the problem?

First of all those errors look more related to HBR, though if it worked before I would restart services then log into the planning app and then try again.
Have you tried a different form as well one without an ampersand &.

Lock Object error during batch load

Batch load was delayed about an hour. First error message in the Server Log said "Object is already locked by user""Error 1053010 processing request [Lock Object]-Disconnecting"Then it went through a series of "Object locked by user admin" and "received client request: create Temporary Object(from user admin)"It did this several times until connection.Although from time to time we have had problems with Objects getting locked and preventing maintenance in the Application Manager. This is the first time that is has prevented a batch load. Does anyone know what could have triggered this during the load process?

This happened to us a lot, I think it's due to people opening objects, then letting their session time out, leaving a phantom lock.We solved the problem by calling the UNLOCKOBJECT function before any dimbuilds. 99.9% of the time this raises an error, "..object x is not locked..", but the rare time that the otl is inadvertently locked, it prevents the script from failing. WFP Dimension loads in planning

should the employee and entity dimension loaded every month as part of actual data loads or should they be loaded only at the begining of the planning cycle ?
What happens if the 2 cycles overlap
if planning cycle is jun - jul (12 mths) will the delivered business rules still work or do we have to modify them.

1. I think you need to re-explain your issue.
2. I understand that employee is a custom dimension.
3. You would not be loading actual data at the beginning of the cycle, it depends again. Let me explain you . Initially, you plan something for the coming year and planners enter data montly or so.
4. After a period of time , you would be interested in knowing , how exactly your plan is near reality. Here, we load actuals data ( might be from Oracle GL..etc) and now we are in a position to do variance analysis - actuall data vs plan.
5. You need to explain with an example , when you say 2 cycles overlap.
6. Business Rules are written in a manner that they are scalable and not to be modified

CRM 5.0 - Error during Initial Load

Hi,
We have connected CRM 5.0 with ECC 5.0.
During initial load we are getting error in the outbound queue of ECC system as 'Name or Password incorrect (Repeat Logon)'.
Any idea, why is this happening. We have double checked the user id and password entered in SM59 is correct.

Yes, I had checked on both the systems.
Anyways, the problem is now solved, it seems the BASIS team did some goofup while configuring the RFC destinations. It is working now.
