Error in a declaration %type

hello gurus
i have this problem
i have a user A (USER_A), with normal privileges (create table, create procedures etc)..
from my user A i read a synonym on a table from another user B (USER_B).
B is not the owner of the table, the owner is C (USER_C) who has given grants of select to B and to A.
I would like to use pl/sql a thing like this
create procedure xxxxxx
is
var_1 USER_B.table.field_1%type;
BEGIN
END;
but while compiling it gives an error like on the declaration of var_1:
PLS-00201: identifier 'USER_B' must be declared..
someone has a clue for this?
thanks in advance!
claudio

Hi,
Either the table or schema is non existent or the user does not have select privilege.

  • Javax.print problem: data not of declared type

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to print a simple text-only document with the below code but it keeps giving me an illegal argument exception. By the way, I've tried all the combinations of DocFlavor.*.* and SERVICE_FORMATTED.PRINTABLE and SERVICE_FORMATTED.PAGEABLE are the only ones working for me. Is this normal?

  • Parsing error : Element already declared

    Hi
    I am facing problem while using namespace.
    In a prototype, while using xml and dtd I tried to use namespace in using parameter entity. Despite using namespace I am getting error element already declared.
    If I don't use parameter entity then the prototype works.
    In the following prototype, poNmSpace.xml makes use of poNmSpace.dtd which in turn makes use of xhtml.dtd
    I am trying to parse poNameSpace.xml using oracle parser and I am getting following error

    This DTD does some of what the W3C is getting ready to do with its
    "XHTML" work (nee "Voyager"). It differs from the current WG draft
    because it uses namespaces correctly (!), and it isn't as complete
    even for HTML 3.2 support (much less 4.0) or, probably, correct.
    Note that what XHTML needs to do is become modular enough that XHTML
    can be used as a mixin with other document types, including either
    "the whole megillah" or just selected modules (e.g. omitting tables).
    That must work both ways ... other things as mixins to XHTML, and
    XHTML as a mixin to other things.
    THIS WILL BE REPLACED WITH A BETTER DTD AT SOME POINT.

  • Error passing in RECORD type into API

  • Error(86,88): incompatible types; found: java.util.ArrayList

    Hi,
    I'm getting following error :
    Error(86,88): incompatible types; found: java.util.ArrayList, required: com.sun.java.util.collections.ArrayList
    The line JDev is complaining about contains the following code :
    com.sun.java.util.collections.ArrayList runtimeErrors = container.getExceptionsList();
    I really don't have a clue where this error comes from. If I right-click on ArrayList it brings me to the correct declaration.
    Does somebody know what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks in advance for you help!
    Kris

    Kris,
    try changing the code to :
    java.util.ArrayList runtimeErrors = container.getExceptionsList();apparently container.getExceptionsList() returns a java.util.Arraylist not a com.sun.java.util.collections.ArrayList

  • Asset Retirement (ABAON) error - Posting with trans.type 210 not possible

    HI All,
    I was trying to sell an asset using transaction ABAON which is fully depreciated, but I am getting the error -
    " Posting with trans.type 210 not possible (No acquisition posted)"
    The Scenario is, there is an asset(car) which was uploaded during implimentation and it got depreciated fully in the month of april.
    The same asset(car, which is fully depreciated) is sold for an amount of Rs 40000/-.
    So, I was trying to post it with some revenue vlaue in transaction ABAON, but I am getting the above error.
    (The Asset value was an uploaded during implimentation,it was not an acquisition value from SAP. It was an uploaded value from legacy data)
    Could any one help in this, or let me know the correct process for this kind of transactions.
    Awaiting for a reply.
    Regards,
    Upendra

    HI Mamta,
    Thanks for the reply.
    While Uploading the data was uploaded as asset balance upload for prior year with value.
    Plase let me know what do you propose, to be done for this.

  • Error posting with trans.type 159 not possible (no aquisition posted)

    Hello All,
    A user has created an PO for asset with GR non valuated  in 2007 and has performed a MIGO/GR in the same year 2007. Now in 2008 the user has received an invoice against the said asset and wants to post it thru Trans MIRO.
    At the time of posting the invoice the user gets the error "posting with trans.type 159 not possible (no aquisition posted)" . Since this is a completely new asset and GR non valuated asset process is a standard in SAP why is the system recognising the transation type as 159 i/o trans type 100 ie new asset aquisition.
    If i post a dummy value to the same asset using FB01 the system accepts the value but the same process if i intend to follow usin MIRO system does not allow.
    Can you guys help me
    Thanks
    Nelson

    Thanks Paul for your reply, I checked the depreciation key. inthe key the "Aqu only allowed in capitalization year is marked as NO"
    Therefore the problem is not the depreciation key
    Thanks

    Any ideas??

    I fix the problem.
    I have carefully reviewed JAVASCRIPT files and I could see that these are not a major influence within the site, only are reference code and utilities of the same application.
    By removing these files nothing has stopped working, I thought I would have some error in the sliders, or opacities, but no, nothing happened.

    Hi,
    It seems there is something wrong with your code, from your code the account and key are the same, because their appsetting name are the same.
    string account = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["StorageAccountName"];
    //string account = CloudConfigurationManager.GetSetting("StorageAccountName");
    //string key = CloudConfigurationManager.GetSetting("StorageAccountAccessKey");
    string key = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["StorageAccountName"];
    string connectionString = String.Format("DefaultEndpointsProtocol=https;AccountName={0};AccountKey={1}", account, key);
    return CloudStorageAccount.Parse(connectionString);
    If you use CloudConfigurationManager.GetSetting, please consider set azure project as the startup project, if not, this value will be null, this resulted in solution being started as a web project that didn't run inside the Azure emulator. Since CloudConfigurationManager.GetSetting
    tries to get setting by contacting Azure (or Azure emulator in this case), and it is not running, it returns null.
