Error in a declaration %type

Question

hello gurus
i have this problem
i have a user A (USER_A), with normal privileges (create table, create procedures etc)..
from my user A i read a synonym on a table from another user B (USER_B).
B is not the owner of the table, the owner is C (USER_C) who has given grants of select to B and to A.
I would like to use pl/sql a thing like this
create procedure xxxxxx
is
var_1 USER_B.table.field_1%type;
BEGIN
END;
but while compiling it gives an error like on the declaration of var_1:
PLS-00201: identifier 'USER_B' must be declared..
someone has a clue for this?

Hi,
Either the table or schema is non existent or the user does not have select privilege.
SQL> declare
  2     var1 hrnotexist.employees.First_Name%type ;
  3  begin
  4  null ;
  5* end ;
SQL> /
   var1 hrnotexist.employees.First_Name%type ;
ERROR at line 2:
ORA-06550: line 2, column 9:
PLS-00201: identifier 'HRNOTEXIST.EMPLOYEES' must be declared
ORA-06550: line 2, column 9:
PL/SQL: Item ignored
SQL>declare
  2     var1 not_exit_table.First_Name%type ;
  3  begin
  4  null ;
  5* end ;
SQL> /
   var1 not_exit_table.First_Name%type ;

PLS-00201: identifier 'NOT_EXIT_TABLE.FIRST_NAME' must be declared
